Please excuse the commentary post that isn't a bid, but 1320 shares is quite a large wall. IMHO, you are going to need to discount the starting bid well below havelock's current price to offload that many. But perhaps I'm wrong; 7 days is a long auction so maybe everyone is just waiting until the last day or two to bid.

I thought about that too later though i dont know what to do. I might contact a mod and ask for deletion of the thread so that i can create a new one...
I think since there aren't any bids yet no one will complain if you just post a message with a new minimum.

I would set the new minimum bid to 0.29BTC then. Though i wonder if not many will go away when they read the first post and the posts after it were i correct that the minimum is 0.4BTC.
5402  Other / Meta / Is there a mod for the marketplace-auctions subforum? on: November 24, 2013, 05:26:24 PM
Is there a mod for the marketplace-auctions subforum? I think i put in a too high startingbid for my auction and since i didnt get offers yet i would like to recreate the auction in a new thread.

So who can i contact for this matter?

You sir have more shares than I could ever possibly hope to own....

Enjoy your retirement ... if you have any left after the auction, perhaps I can sell you my right arm or such in a trade for some..

All i can say is... Bitcoin is a really crazy area. You probably wouldnt believe when i gave you numbers... and when i see the rush in bitcoin exchange price i tend to believe this craziness is still alive...
5406  Economy / Auctions / Re: ### 1320 ASICMINER DIRECT SHARES - 7 DAYS AUCTION - ESCROW POSSIBLE ### on: November 24, 2013, 02:50:48 AM
Perhaps he means .04Btc per share?   Cool

If you troll havelock long enough, you can get a few at .4..     Now if he started at .3  the bids would roll in.

I looked at havelook first. The AM100 traded for 0.004 and the normal ones at 0.45BTC. So i thought 0.4BTC is a good start to sell all shares...

I cant delete the thread but since it was cleared so fast and everybody guessed it was a mistake i think it will be fine...

Minimum amount of shares to bid on is: 1 Direct Share

Bids are binding.

Buy it now:

Payment methods accepted:

Bitcoins only.

You can use an Escrow if you wish or you can trust me. Iam an Escrow myself and already escrowed more than 2000BTC in total. Additionally i ran a Groupbuy for Avalon Chips where i had 4816BTC in total in escrow. See the threads here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=187660 (English) and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=187663 (German).
If you want to use another escrow you have to use a reputable one that i agree on too.

Additional information:

I prefer that users that want to stay anonymous create a new forum account to bid rather than sending me a PM since PM's are hidden to the other bidders and its not a transparent bidding.
So please go the new account route for bidding.

After the auction:

If the shares are paid i will contact friedcat and he will move the shares to the new owner. Friedcat is doing this once a week only. In order to not having the bidders lose the dividends i will give them the dividends if divs are happening between the payment of bought shares and friedcat moving the shares to the new owners bitcoin address.

I will give each winner a separate address to pay into in order to identify payments and fasten the payment process.

Happy bidding! Smiley

And 28nm is not coming next. Next is 40nm.

Next is 40nm? I think gen2 was scrapped because it didnt work and friedcat moved on to work with gen3 because it was more promising? So whats correct now?

Both are correct. Gen2 was 55 or 65nm (can't be bothered to look it up, it's dead) and was scrapped. Gen3 is 40nm and that's what's coming next after Gen1.

Really? Man... all this floating infos... i was convinced that friedcat works on 28nm... ok... then gen3 Asicminer ist 40nm...

Regarding shipping... the problem is probably nearly not existing when he sells miners only to resellers and with a minimum units per shipment. Then shipping cost wouldnt matter much.

What i mean is it would be bad for enduser sales since endusers only check the prices for the miners and dont care about shipping cost for the moment. Even all the comparing websites only take the normal miner prices to compare. If a cube for 1BTC includes shipping cost and a miner form another company with the same specs doesnt contain shipping cost but is 0.95BTC because of that then it looks like Asicminer is a bit more expensive and most people want to get things the cheapest way. So at compare lists like http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/ asicminer would have a disadvantage from the start.

Of course friedcat would receive more money when customers buy more miners in one shipment but customers have to get to that point first.

Thats why i think its best to price miners at 0.95BTC, have the miners look more competitive this way and each customer will pay the shipping cost at the end without thinking much about it. Even when he would think carefully before if another miner would be a small bit cheaper.

I only think its an advantage that i always would use if possible.

Of course its relatively theoretical if he only trades with resellers.

Can someone give me the link with the direct shares listed together with the amount of shares and the div-address?

I tend to believe that once AM is on a real exchange the price will be a bit higher than the endprice at bitfunder... which was 0.006-0.015BTC but it will not be very much higher. I mean this is still a risk and the price only was pushed because of thin informations and the absence of bad informations yet. I wonder where the price would be if there would be no NDA. Would there be bad or good information posted? So for now its still betting on the future with not much informations basing it on.

Seb, I think you missed zeros from the above prices.

*argh* Again... ill fix it..

Why would Dave want to declare if the grow will be indefinite or not?
To make someone jump back? Why?

Why should he spare that topic when he speaks about other things that might be good for the mine? Of course he dont have to care about the shareprice. I believe his obligation, that he is feeling, is that he wants to get the ipo-price spread in divs. Maybe a bit more. I tend to believe thats all there is.
This security sounds way too risky for me how it is now. Dave and friends reached their goal which was owning their own asic design and being able to create and sell their own miners. Shareholders seem to bother so far that they want to give them something back for the investment. But i dont see a hint that they will move on with the farm. Its not necessary for them to spread their own profit when they safed their trust.

Costs have already been paid for, there is no way shipping is 20% of that price.

Is friedcat still selling miners for a price that includes the shipping cost? Thats bad business practice since buyers will compare to other miners and those wont have the shipping cost included for sure. Its better to be able to show a price that is a bit better and at the end of ordering put the shipping cost on top. At that point a customer doesnt care anymore about shipping cost because he awaited it. But including it from the start will drive potential customers away.

Wow... never have seen such a bad Trustrating... but i dont understand this post. Graet and ukyo didnt respond about what? They should pay something to TH or the other way around?

TF claims they have defaulted loans on CL, which does not help refunding, as far as I understand.

Graet didn't loan anything on CL, but TF had Graet.loan bonds in his hedge fund. Graet hasn't redeemed those bonds, but says he intends to redeem about half of all his bonds by mid 2014.

So its TH that is in debt? I have read it this way too. If its the case its not a good news anyway because it means ukyo might have lost money there... private money.
