There's a tremendous increase in demand this time around, don't see why winter should be coming. There might be some brief corrections, but overall this seems to be the point in time where disruptive technologies explode until the market becomes saturated. The overall crypto market should be climbing around 10 to 100 times of its current value. Perhaps even higher if we consider the fact that "undeveloped" countries are starting to boom as well.

The Nordic nations tend to be first at implementing such schemes so I think it would take 5-10 years for the rest to follow. Troubling news, though we kinda expected this to happen anyway. Once we started dealing with our money using cards, it's really just a short step to outright removing physical fiat. How is it troubling news? Cash is annoying to use. |

If we look at the history some countries got maximum development in Dictator ship while some got maximum development in democratic government. Every system has it's own flaws and benefits. What do you like ? if we talk about the welfare of general people.
It's about the motive of the ruler. And Dictatorship or democracy is just a disguise. No one can run a country without popular support from its citizens. The parliamentary democratic system is so corrupt that no good person can rise to the top. Reality in a nutshell. Also why I decided to never go into politics, since it's a waste of my lifetime. I'm not very fond of democracy either, since it's steered by money and power (by manipulating the public consens). And even if it wasn't, I wouldn't want people who do not take the time to carefully and objectively research facts being able to vote on important matters that directly impact my life. That's no different from being bullied by a stronger, but stupid and shortsighted, group of people. Dictatorship isn't a lot better either though, unless the leader actually cares about betterment of humanity as a whole while actually having the competence to carry out long term visions. |

So MonaCoin already went to $4 from $0.40 in the last few days because its now on japans biggest exchange so all japan whales are buying in. Also its the bitcoin of japan so not depending on US/China-Governments. Plus its a technology leader, was first coin to bring segwit.
The devs are workaholics and MonaCoin is a top5 coin within the next 12 months, if Governments like US and China shut down Bitcoin and Cryptos, MonaCoin will get to 1 Million each. HODL!

Not to mention that your claims are just flatout ludicrous. I'll be happy to stand corrected, but there's no indicator for any sudden increase in value of this coin (which has been flat for years). I agree, Bitcoin network is to big now to try to shut down. To big to fail. I do think that some countries like Japan has done will start adopting their own Crypto version indicative to them as a country. I've heard of an crypto for India named after an ancient god of wealth I believe that's supposed to ICO soon. Japan is already accepting Bitcoin in its largest consumer retail stores. I want to add to this too that Sia is not a good coin too, I have seen that there are being developed some ASICS for sia coin and the earnings were too good to be true.
Lots of people recently are investing in NEO and seemed that this coin had a good success on its early stages and people generated lots of money and we didn't take care for this coin.
How were the earnings "too good to be true"? They were pretty much what you'd expect from an ASIC. And you are clearly ignoring the fact that network hashrate spiking will reduce the ROI dramatically. Furthermore, the really interesting features of SIA are still to be implemented next year. |

Such laws cast Russia back several decades ago. The world changed and changed every year in a geometric progression. What Russia is doing shows that it is not yet ready to enter a new era and, thus, will lag behind such developed countries as the US and Japan.
Any country not willing to adopt a superior new technology is going to lag behind, look at China, their citizens want to adopt bitcoin but the government does not want this, if the government wins they are going to be left behind and other countries are going to reap the benefits and the investments that bitcoin is going to bring, Japan a neighbor country of China has decided to go in the opposite direction and legalize bitcoin and we will see the benefits of that decision in the next decade. This^ I can't wait to see what impact Blockchains will have on economies. |

Price is actually higher than it was weeks ago. The last time I bought thousands of these SNM was the time when the price was just about 0.04$.
Now I have to wait for the price to dip again before buying more. $0.08 I think is fair. The team is about to once again host a Q and A and by then the price may once again spike.
Why would $0.08 be fair when it's well below the ICO price? it goes up to $0.25 that fast with just a simple news and dip back to $0.12. if i wait for the price to dip more the better. if the price dips back to $0.08 its going to be fair for me to buy another thousands just to make sure a huge profit after it goes up. this isn't about ICO price but the profit you can get after acquiring SNM for low price. Then you're talking about a "good price" for you to buy-in, not a "fair" price or the true value. I agree though, I'm hoping that the price will dip a little further so I can load up even more. |

You can restore its private keys to another ledger provided you kept the recovery information. Is the information on the ledger kept in an online database then? No, you must save the recovery information yourself. It is actually counterproductive to save the information online. That's what I was concerned about. So basically the ledger lets me use my wallets without making my private key available during a transaction and I need to save the private key separately if I want to make sure I don't lose access to my wallets? Basically yes. You basically hey all the benefits of an offline wallet, but with the availability of a normal wallet. That cleared everything up for me, thanks! |

Its not wise to follow anyone who spouts this as their mantra. It directly implies that self interest is their top priority.
There is nothing wrong with self interest after all we all want to have a better life so that in itself is not wrong, and to have that as a priority is not wrong either because if you do not prioritize that then who is going to do it, the problem is when that is the only thing in people minds, that will create a warped person that has no empathy about other people and their well being. True. Unfortunately a lot of people seem to be caring only about getting something for themselves. Even if it means screwing over others in the process.. How many people build a basic website, start an announcement here, pay a few hundred bucks for ads, launch an ICO, get like 500 - 1000 ETH from stupid people, and disappear with all the money raised? Quite a lot, I'm sure. And the worst of all is those kind of scams only encourage even more scams, if the scammer got away with it then he is going to want to do it again and again, and because almost no one faces criminal charges even if what they are doing is clearly a crime then investors cannot do nothing except watching an empty wallet and a bag of useless tokens. Scams are usually quite easy to identify though... People need to learn somehow, even if it'll be painful for them. If governments keep bailing them out people will just keep getting dumber and fall for even more obvious scams in the future. Sure, scammers need to be prosecuted, but I don't think that people who fell for it should be repaid. The money should go to some other cause instead. Perhaps courses and seminars on how to not fall for scams that people can attend for free. |
