It was an awkward day in my opinion. Denmark did the expected thing by defeating Austria actually but France had really serious problems on having a favorable result in their home game. Croatia benefited from this opportunity in a great way by defeating them 1-0. This must be absolutely because of their not seeing this tournament as very important for themselves. Otherwise I would say that France should have won this game one way or another. France are really not a team to believe in here now.

I would also like to see Cristiano Ronaldo as the captain of Manchester United. I believe that he is one of the best players for this. He led the team in the previous season in fact as they would have been in a much more terrible situation if he hadn't performed that great. I wouldn't like to point out only his performance of course. He did his best about making the team fired up too even though the team weren't that good after. It looks like Ronaldo is staying for at least one more year so we should see him as the leader of the team.

Juventus are very close to signing Paul Pogba now. They seem very confident about this deal and Pogba is also likely to go back to his old team. I think that this deal would be really good for both sides. Juventus have been playing with an average midfield for a long time. Paul Pogba is just the player they have been searching for. They must be thankful for him to have problems with Manchester United and leave. Pogba is a midfielder who can have many kinds of roles and he can lead the team to success.

Gareth Bale is leaving Real Madrid for sure at the end of this month. There is no way Real Madrid are trying to make him stay any longer from now on. He isn't like the old Bale now and Real Madrid want to part ways with him because of that. He is going to be a free agent and I'm wondering what team his next stop will be. I've heard that his wife doesn't want to leave Spain so this can be very effective while he is making his decision. People talked about Getafe too but I don't think that it is realistic. He can still play at a middle-placed team at least.
Gareth Bale's manager, Barnett, denied the Getafe President's allegations and said it would be impossible to contact him. Ballet, in my opinion, should not stay in Spain and should return to England. Bale had a great time in Madrid but hasn't been in the top eleven lately. Injuries also played a role. Maybe Bale's "Wales, Golf, Madrid" statement also made him an unwanted person. I don’t know. He can regain his former strength by giving weight to individual exercises. Bale could go back to his old days in the Premier League. Normally Messi-Mbappe-Neymar trio must perform really great but they haven't met the demands of the supporters surely. Mbappe himself is awesome but the other two weren't that much last season. I didn't even see Neymar playing properly last season. He must play more than this to contribute more to the team. Messi's contribution level was also not too high but I hope he will perform better next time. This is very crucial for the Champions League especially.
Neymar performance this season was not as expected by fans and maybe that's quite reasonable because Neymar often gets injured, but for Messi I think his performance is quite good even though he only appeared 26 matches in the league but Messi has created 6 goals and 14 assists in his first season , in my opinion it was an extraordinary performance because it seems that messi role has now been shifted by the coach to become a supporter of mbappe as a striker, the trio of messi, mbappe and neymar are not quite perfect but if later the issue about zidane coaching PSG becomes a reality of course the trio can be a deadly combination for their opponents, PSG currently only needs a coach who can handle big personalities in the dressing room and encourage players to be able to do their best in every match, with the extraordinary management of zidane will certainly be able to make messi, mbappe and neymar more develop later. Tchouameni is able to play as a defensive midfielder as well indeed. But for now I will be expecting him to play in the central midfielder position mostly. I know that there is Luka Modric there but he is getting very old now. Real Madrid would think of replacing him with a young player at some point. Tchouameni and Camavinga have been brought for this especially. Real Madrid should continue to make the team younger as long as they find quality players.
We admit that Tchouameni is a good player so he can attract big teams, but as we all know Kross and Modric have been the driving force behind Madrid game and do you think Tchouameni will be able to take on that role at his age now? It was a really bad day for Portugal indeed. Switzerland weren't a very challenging opponent for them normally but they managed to surprise Portugal a lot by this 1-0 victory. The winning goal came in the 2nd minute already and I'm still surprised how Portugal weren't able to answer in the whole game. Ronaldo's absence also affected them badly surely but they still had very good players in the team though. Spain didn't experience a similar result against Czech Republic at least and it was an easy win by 2-0.

It wasn't the best day in the Nations League so far I'm afraid. The England - Italy game was a very poor one. England should have won this game after playing decently but they wasted another chance. They don't seem very serious in this tournament now. Germany also couldn't defeat Hungary but it hasn't been easy to do this against them in away games as well. Hungary play well in their home games.

Unfortunately I don't see nearly any player whose place is guaranteed now at Barcelona. They are in a big need of money and they can lose an important player while having that much money. Frenkie de Jong is the player for that for now. I hope to see Barcelona stronger than this in the future. A team like them shouldn't have big issues like this normally. But if they maintain a successful run in tournaments, they can make a lot of money and heal faster.

Chelsea can really have some difficulties in next season but they aren't difficulties that they can't leave behind. They need to focus completely on filling the places that are becoming empty by the departure of those players. Rudiger's place comes first in this list surely now..
No need to worry, the transfer window just opened and in the next couple of weeks, you should be hearing about our new signings. We already have our eyes on couple of defenders such as Jules Kounde, Presnel Kimpembe, Matthijs De Ligt etc. We should be able to get one or two and I'm very positive about we signing Kounde. Liverpool also have their crisis as they'll be losing Mane. I think only Manchester city has their squad strengthen with the arrival of Haaland. Don't be too quick to write off Chelsea in the title race, don't forget we were among the conversation last season until the injuries came and destroyed all we built. Next season, we'll have Chilwell and James fully fit and if they can maintain fitness to end of season, our squad next season would be Impressive. To tell the truth, I wouldn't like to write them off for sure. It would be lovely to see Chelsea as well in this title competition. It is depending on their transfer activity and strengthening the needed positions in their lineup. Because I don't see any problem in Tuchel's strategies. They just need to prepare a solid squad for next season. Defender transfers will play an important role in this. To me, they will sign Kounde for sure because it is said that they are very close to reaching an agreement now. |

It feels great to have the old Bundesliga teams like Schalke and Werder Bremen back in this league again after some time. Schalke had a really bad experience in the Bundesliga in the near past and they would like to play much better now. Werder Bremen were a good middle-placed team in the past and they can do this once again. I wish we had Hamburg here too but they couldn't manage to beat Hertha Berlin on aggregate.
