5401  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Temperament Says About You on: June 03, 2019, 05:25:18 PM
I'm melancholic and I can't change it.Anyway, those psychological attempts to categorize people by their temper can be very stupid and misleading. One melancholic can't be totally identical with another,or one extrovert with another.
5402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is a "Provably Fair" and How does it work? on: June 03, 2019, 05:15:43 PM
Very interesting post,OP.I've forgotten about how the "Probably fair" mechanism works, because I'm not playing dice and crash games since 2015.
5403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Stable Coin Statistics on: June 03, 2019, 05:11:48 PM
You should move this thread to the "Project development" forum.
I don't find stable coins to be interesting for me,but good luck with this project,OP.
5404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If everyone is hodling, how can bitcoin be used for mass adoption? on: June 03, 2019, 04:55:26 PM
Seeming as everyone is hodling, how do we plan to bring bitcoin to mass adoption? No-one wants to spend it, incase of the price going up and loosing out. Yet on the  other hand, we want mass adoption. Chainalysis reports suggests  only 1.3% of transactions are payments in 2019, that's less than 2017.

Here is a video from my YT channel, covering the topic in more detail.

https://youtu.be/C17-TpYxQwY

If the price crashes, everyone will stop hodling, but everyone that hodls will lose.
That's why a stable price with low volatility is the ultimate step towards mass btc adoption.
Unfortunately it's impossible to have a stable btc price.
5405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos (ATOM) on: June 03, 2019, 11:33:27 AM
I researched the Cosmos (ATOM) in this week, and when everything was almost red, today the Cosmos grew 12% quite significantly at a price of $ 6.6. What is happening, will continue to grow as the market continues to improve. Looks like my altcoin shopping basket, wants to accommodate it. Give your opinion. Thank you.

I guess the Cosmos price went up because it was listed on Binance at the first week of May.It looks like there's no other reason for that price increase. It's definitely a promising altcoin.
5406  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bulls Near Exhaustion, Investors Should Be Wary on: June 03, 2019, 11:30:14 AM
According to a recent Twitter post from Josh Olszewicz, an analyst at Brave New Coin, Bitcoin’s one-day chart is starting to show signs that bears are starting to creep into the cryptocurrency scene. He explains that Bitcoin is currently trading in a rising wedge pattern, which if not broken past, often acts as a catalyst for a bearish trend reversal.

What’s more, there have been bearish divergences between Bitcoin’s price, and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) and the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). In other words, as BTC has moved higher over the past two weeks, these indicators have trended lower. This is important, as bullish divergences seemingly preceded a number of crypto market rallies throughout recent trading sessions.

Full Story Here.

Your thoughts guys?

There's nothing to worry about, even if the price goes back to 5K.
Bulls and bears are usually the same people. Some bulls decided to sell btc and cashout the profits. That doesn't mean that they won't buy if the price start going down.
5407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sbo expert on: June 03, 2019, 11:19:14 AM
Hi anyone used sboexpert ? i recently saw the website and amazed by stats of their tipster like win rate 80 percent and yield 50 percent which is almost impossible , if anyone know if its fake or genuine , then please tell me know

If it looks impossible,it probably is.If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.I've never  heard about this website and the name sboexpert sounds misleading.Stay away...
5408  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The 'No Action' Relief from SEC on: June 03, 2019, 11:15:06 AM
So what's the difference between securities and tokens?
The securities are backed up by some other asset with a stable price? This is just my assumption.
Anyway, nobody cares about the SEC and how they deal with ICOs. Grin
5409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 03 reasons for Bitcoin Bitcoin value in the past month on: June 03, 2019, 11:00:53 AM
The US-China trade war usually pushes the bitcoin price down...if it really has some impact over the price(which was never proven).
The other two factors look too small and insignificant to me,so they can't have huge impact.
5410  Other / Off-topic / Re: How To Make it in CRYPTO SPACE and in real LIFE on: June 03, 2019, 05:57:51 AM
I agree.Self-confidence is a skill like any other and it can be learned and built.
People often underestimate how important is to be confident and to believe in yourself.
5411  Other / Off-topic / Re: Health is Wealth: You Take Supplements? on: June 03, 2019, 05:55:41 AM

I have seboreic dermatitus, acne and low energy.Something is wrong with me and I'll have to visit a doctor.
5412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site? on: June 03, 2019, 05:45:02 AM
I've been playing zynga poker since its launch in facebook, it's a great game and very amusing. I'm good at it and have some good strategy to win the game and earn a lot of money.

Is there a gambling site that includes poker and btc for betting? I just want to try. Please give me a 100% legit gambling site. I will ignore those people that will recommend a scam/trash site. Thanks!

I used to play poker at betcoin.ag 4 years ago,but they don't seem legit anymore.
I don't play poker that much because I got bored.By the way,you are SR.Member,so you must have spent enough time on this forum and you should know the best crypto casinos.
Asking such question is kinda strange for a Sr.Member.
5413  Economy / Economics / Re: MICROSOFT WANTS TO "PROTECT" YOUR IDENTITY WITH BITCOIN on: June 03, 2019, 05:31:39 AM
Reading this article makes the think that deleting my Microsoft account was the best move ever. Grin
I would be glad if they could just fix Skype and make it the convenient and light fast app it used to be.
Microsoft must stay away from crypto world. They will screw everything with their "blockchain" project.
5414  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-03]Get Bitcoin on your Smartwatch with this Lightning Network App on: June 03, 2019, 05:25:55 AM
Great idea, but how do I get a smartwatch? Grin
And your image is invalid,OP.You should change it.
5415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins removes face to face cash trades on: June 03, 2019, 05:11:23 AM
I will have to think twice before I use Localbitcoins again. There's too much regulations going on in Finland.
Removing face to face trades is a step in the right direction, but scammers will continue to get their victims by posting on other websites like Paxful.
5416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Fiat (Real life test ) on: June 03, 2019, 05:08:48 AM
Bitcoin- crypto currency allows you to receive or send money instantly and securely around the world without middle man.Sounds great but too good to be true from our experience. We decided to do honest big sum transaction between two countries using fiat and bitcoin.Member of family  from country A sent 25000$ to country B using wire transfer. It cost almost nothing 15$ and transfer cleared in less than 4 hours. It was done a 8 month ago.Bank did not  even ask anything about it.Any questions where the money came from.(Cool yea) Now lets talk about bitcoin transfer.
Member of family from country A sends (25000$) 4 BTC (6130$ ea) to country B.Transaction time less than 1 hour and cost about 40$.Country B decided to cashed out because he cant pay with bitcoin for services. He sends bitcoins on exchange- transaction cost about 40$ once again.Exchange charges about 2% for instant sell.On the next step he uses wire transfer to  deposit money to bank.Cost 1$ and almost 1 day to clear transaction. At this point I would prefer Fiat over  bitcoin  because all process is too complicated but story is not finished yet. The Exchange reported my transaction history to authorities quite while ago.Today I am  sitting by the table with a few letters in hands from tax revenue asking me to confirm transaction between exchange and my bank.On other letter they stating that i have to pay taxes on 4 btc (6130$ ea) because bitcoin is an investment asset.Right now I am force to pay taxes and loose quite a lot money but its OK.Conclusion is.....HuhHuh?/ Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh   Fiat->bitcoin->fiat is wrong. Wink

I guess you have used the wrong exchange.Another mistake is using big amounts of btc.
I don't think that the wire transfer won't be investigated and the money will have to be reported sooner or later.
5417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Need help for new Bitcoin Project ... on: June 02, 2019, 05:27:23 PM
You are right, but we check all listings, before they go online. So if a place wanted to get added, should they also accept Bitcoin, otherwise will we not add them, and just rufund them. The project is not to earn big cash, but to grow an up to date directory of Bitcoin accepting places.

Kind regards Soraya de Vries  Wink

I guess you didn't understand OP's question.
It's not about accepting bitcoin or not. It's about listing possible scammers on your directory that ARE currently accepting bitcoin and scamming other people.
5418  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for small crypto trading discord group on: June 02, 2019, 05:21:44 PM
Hi. As title says I am trying to find a discord server that'd be comfortable, I've tried different discords where I sometimes ask questions about trading etc, but I want something possibly better.

I do daytrading, used to mine alts, etc. But yeah mostly interested about trading.

Preferrably small but friendly server, if anyone would be willing to invite me.

Nicholas#7751

Thanks  Grin

What do you mean by "comfortable"?A Discord server, where everyone will be polite and share with you their trading knowledge for free?I've never seen any friendly traders so far. Most of them are pretty damn nervous.
Good luck and keep searching.
5419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: eSports platform to launch p2p betting (hero) on: June 02, 2019, 05:13:58 PM
"An eSports platform which is Hero that allows users to challenge other gamblers rather than betting against a bookmaker is preparing to integrate blockchain technology into their new website. This comes as Maltese officials are consulted on how to extend their gaming license to incorporate cryptocurrency."

source: cointelegraph

Hero is a wonderful project, it gives me a lot of income in the past bounty campaign. If you're a gamer, it's the best gambling site where we can bet to our favorite teams in eSports.

So it's a "wonderful project" just because you got big income from their bounty campaign?
Have you ever tried their betting platform, before judging them as a "wonderful project"?
5420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: OkEx Supporting USDk could be Timely on: June 02, 2019, 05:11:23 PM
The 7 trillion gold market cap will never be reached by any cryptocurrency even bitcoin.People are too used to gold, crypto is just too new and revolutionary.
It will be great if we get to the 1 trillion market cap,but the governments+people like Ver and Wright might try to ruin everything.
