5401  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chain Reaction? on: May 03, 2019, 01:35:32 PM
I guess cryptocurrency has already bottomed in the last year. But it could happen again since we don't know what will happen next.
We still need to be careful from the unknown situations.
December 2018 is a new beginning for bitcoin but I don't think that year will be low.
Unfortunately, I don't have good skills to determine if that year will be the low year.
5402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suddenly disappearing token on: May 03, 2019, 09:45:44 AM
Maybe the coin got delisted from the exchange, so it was disappearing from the market.
But as you mention about BitBoost, I think you can visit on this page and see the information on that site.
I think the coin was not active again, and maybe the developer does not continue the project and leave the project.
There will be so many possibilities for this, and you should know.
5403  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam Exchange Coinbene - be careful on: May 03, 2019, 09:39:00 AM
Coinbene? Hm, I never heard of those exchange.
I hope that people know what they do regard to join in a new exchange and don't use huge money to trade.
By the way, I visit on Coinbene website, and I see that their website is almost the same with Binance, but they have a green color on the homepage.
I will wait for the screenshots.
5404  Economy / Speculation / Re: With Bitcoin roaring to the North, any hope for waiters of $1800 bottom? on: May 03, 2019, 09:36:18 AM
I am sure they will do the same as before, and they will spread fake news to people because they have a reason to do that thing.
They want to take the benefits from their news and the panicking people so they can use their time to take a profit for themselves.
We already saw so many speculations related to bitcoin price, and many people panic to see the price is up and down because they are not ready to do something.
That is why we need to analyze to prevent those things so we could not become panic with the situations that will always change.
5405  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: May 03, 2019, 09:30:59 AM
That could happen in many countries, but as long as we can do preventive way from the scam, I think there will be no problem with that.
That will be a big issue for people who are not aware and not prevent the suspicious transaction.
Money laundering will still happen if people are not to comply with the law and they want to get big money from the dirty work.
That will be an individual responsibility to prevent illegal things that might happen.
5406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need some bitcoin theft victims support on: May 03, 2019, 09:24:37 AM
It is hard to reveal who is that scammer because they can change their identity on every exchange.
They can buy a lot of data of the customer on darkweb because I heard that this data is sold in those places and people will easily to buy the data.
But if you are very serious with the project, then you need to have a plan to reveal the scammers, and you need to have access with the exchange, so you know who their customer that is suspected as the scammers is.
It needs time to reveal, and I am sure that you need teams who have a high-skills in revealing scammers.
5407  Other / Off-topic / Re: Post a Picture of what you think Satoshi the Creator of bitcoin looks like on: May 03, 2019, 09:19:17 AM

I don't want to show my face because many people will after me and hunt me until I get caught.
If you know me, please don't tell others because that is too dangerous.
Maybe in the next future, I will reveal myself to the public, but I am afraid that will be too late for you to ask me anything.

5408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NYPD: Bitcoin thieves posing as government officials have stolen over $2M on: May 03, 2019, 09:08:15 AM
The scammers will be on everywhere, on the internet or real life.
We need to be careful about that, and we must protect what we have and always make sure that it's not fake information that we receive.
I almost get scam by phone in a long time ago, and that person asks me to send money to one bank account, but I don't send the money, and I talk to him pretending I understand his instruction.
I think this is the old model of the scam that always happen in many places and as long as we can be careful about receiving a suspicious unknown phone number, we will be fine.
5409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ✝️ Those who want to try LN - Buy flowers on the Bitcoin Graveyard on: May 03, 2019, 09:02:49 AM
The idea was for fun, and I like it.
But maybe in the future, this idea will become serious, and you should be prepared for that. Maybe you will need to do something else to get more fun.
But now, I don't have any idea what it is.
So I am trying to install Eclair wallet as you mention and let's see what I will get later.
Thank you for this info.
5410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can lost Bitcoins be traced? on: May 03, 2019, 08:53:21 AM
How do you know if that is a stolen bitcoins?
When bitcoin is sent into one wallet address, you can see the amount of bitcoin. And when that amount is sent to another wallet, you can track in the blockchain, and you will know the wallet address.
But you don't know if that is a stolen bitcoin or not because you don't know who owns that bitcoin.
We could only see the total amount of bitcoin in every wallet address, and that is out of the bitcoin circulation.
Maybe the only thing you can do is you need to find the wallet address with the privkey's so you can access the wallet and use the bitcoin.
But maybe I am wrong because I am not a specialist in bitcoin, so I am sorry.
5411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to recover when you are down 90% of your portfolio? on: May 03, 2019, 08:46:30 AM
It depends on the coin you bought because if you think that your coins are not the right coins, then you need a long time to see your portfolio will increase again.
There is no other way except waiting for each coin you have to get back to the higher price, and you cannot do anything.
It is hard, and I know that because I am in the same position as you and I still wait for more. I am sure that other people will do the same.
But if you have another money, then maybe you can try to buy more the coin so you can get a lower price in the buy order.
5412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be considered a Religion? on: May 03, 2019, 06:17:52 AM
Bitcoin is not a religion, but bitcoin is something about a way for people to create a new way to make money.
That will be a mistake that makes Satoshi Nakamoto as a "GOD" because Satoshi is a human who created bitcoin and makes bitcoin to be known as a new electronic money system.
Bitcoin itself helps people to solve their financial problem, and many people already prove about that.
5413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: May 03, 2019, 06:13:18 AM
I think it's not about beating traditional payment processors or not, but I guess that bitcoin will work together with the traditional payment processors so people can have more payment processors option.
So far, people need to pay a bigger fee when they make a transaction especially if they make a transaction with their bank.
The existing of bitcoin cover the fee problem and I think bitcoin will be used as the next payment processors in the future and it will help the traditional payment processors that we already know.
5414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting analysis things on: May 03, 2019, 06:09:56 AM
Honestly, the best thing I would prefer is to have a friend that is really an analyst and also a master of a game.

If you want to bet in Boxing sports, then you have to make sure to find an analyst and make friends with them.

They will be able to help you with predicting who will win as they have already devoted themselves in the sports they have chosen.

If you really want to predict it, then it is the time to have a circle of professional analysts instead of websites.
I have a friend who can analyze football games, and I always ask him to place bets for me or both of us.
Although his analysis is not always correct, so far, I am satisfied with him because at least, I can get some profit from the game and if I place our money together, the result is good for us.
I don't know which site he uses to analyze the game or the teams because he doesn't want to tell me, but I think that is fair enough because he often places bets for a football game.
5415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: shortest way to explain blockchain to a noob. go: on: May 03, 2019, 04:36:59 AM
There are simple videos on Youtube that explain it. But another easy way is to have them open a Coinbase account and send bitcoin to their own wallet, and monitor the transaction on the blockchain.
I prefer to give the videos from Youtube then to explain by myself because to explain about blockchain is not easy, and we need to know more details about that.
It's better if we can explain the function of bitcoin or cryptocurrency so they can know the basics and the feature of bitcoin. Besides that, we can give them a reference so they can learn more by themselves and maybe we can discuss more if they have some question after they learn.
I am sure that will help them to understand the lesson because they are catching the main idea of the video and they can get the right information from the videos.
5416  Economy / Gambling / Re: BEtking.io on: May 03, 2019, 04:32:43 AM
Is the site closed havent used it for awhile and now it says server down Huh?

www.betking.io
I can visit the site without any problem. The site still online for this day but I don't use betking to gamble. Did you have any problem with them? If yes, I think you need to clarify with them, so you know if they have a problem or not.
I don't know if they are a scam gambling site because like what I said before, I never use betking for playing the game.

Yes, the site is up as i just checked now. I am sure there is a confusion between the betking casino site and the betking token sale.  On their official chat i found that they will plan to add the Servers at multiple places in a future update to avoid the site to be slowed down. Maybe some people are facing the slowness issue on the site.

Why there is a confusion between betking casino and betking token sale as both are managed by the same person? The token sale is the one that makes betking gets so many negative trust as many people are scammed by the token sale, logically there is another chance of another scam that may be done through the casino. Obviously it is really unfortunate to see the fact of their token sale while they should have done it in proper ways as they were one of the most trusted bitcoin casino in the past.
If the team which was run the casino is different than the team who was running the project of the token sale, then I don't think that it will become a scam. But if the teams are the same with that those 2 things, then the chance to be scammed will be open and that is why people need to be careful.
I don't buy their token nor playing in their site, and I was only visiting the website to know more about them. Maybe the teams can explain this so we will know the truth.
5417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto thefts, fraud hit $1.2 billion in Q1 report on: May 03, 2019, 04:27:06 AM
1.2 billion dollars just in 2019 first quarter? That seems like too much. I feel they are exaggarating number to get more interest to this story. At least i hope so.
We don't know if that number is true or not but I think that is a prediction number that has been lost so far. I think we need to be careful to protect our account and let the thief stolen the coins we have.
Although they are trying to do many ways to get the coins, as long as we can protect and don't panic with what happens in the market, we could prevent from the loss because of the thief.
I think in Q2 and next, they will still trying to steal more crypto, and they will search in the other exchange and make those exchange as their next target.
5418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: May 03, 2019, 04:22:31 AM
Actually, I don' know for sure if IEO will be profitable than ICO. But after seeing what is happening in bittrex exchange, I think IEO could replace ICO position for the new project, and it could be profitable this year.
The IEO still trying to promote each project in the exchange and they hope that they can attract a bigger investor to buy their tokens.
I see in bittrex, Atom (Cosmos) has good movements and the price increase, but I forgot how much their price in IEO. You can check by yourself.
5419  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is favourite bounty in 2019?? on: May 03, 2019, 04:19:51 AM
I don't think that there is any favorite bounty in 2019 since too many projects were a scam before. People who try to join in the project as the bounty hunters will difficult to determine which project that could give them profit after the project is finished. It's like choosing a cat in the bag without any clue because we don't know whether the project will succeed or not and we don't have any information about the project except if we can spend more time to search.
5420  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What kind of Altcoin can buy now? on: May 03, 2019, 04:16:38 AM
As mentioned above, if you HODL your coins(the ones you are sure of) then like everything should be fine. However, there are problems that can affect any of the projects. I'm talking about illiterate financial management, in which even a successful project(which raised a lot of money during the ICO) can be on the verge of bankruptcy. As an example, NEM.
NEM is very good for us to hold on for a long time, indeed today many companies are experiencing financial crises, including NEM, but they will not just stay silent to let their products dead
I have NEM, and I still buy NEM when it's down so I can add more amount in the wallet. I still waiting until now to see the price increases and I am sure that many people do the same as me. NEM, STR, XRP, still at the low price and could increase later, and besides of that coins, we have more coins to buy.
