5421  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: June 28, 2020, 06:47:09 AM
- in my opinion, Brainboss should pay most attention to these users (which are still inside the campaign):

In my opinion you should learn to listen to me as your manager. I remember telling you, non of this analysis are relevant as all offends before the announcement are invalid remember they weren't breaking the rules of the campaign per se but just outsmarting it which is something I'm trying to tackle from this week onwards. There are better things you can involve yourself in that'll be highly appreciated by me like if you can identify the alts cheating both campaign.

PS: Just so you know, post made in this thread and that of Bitvest won't be counted towards the post count of this week. Reduced the rate at which you congest both threads.
5422  Economy / Services / Re: [Open] ▄■▀■▄ 🌟Bitvest.io🌟 - Plinko Sign Camp (Member-Hero Accepted)(New2) on: June 27, 2020, 08:43:17 AM
Just gonna put this out there

No misunderstanding here please, the rules hasn't changed. Members can only be demoted after been inactive for two consecutive weeks and I won't demoted members that were inactive for the first week but made 15 and above quality posts.

I heard the cries of many members and I'm using my power as the manager to see if something can be done in regards to punishing members that'll be guilty of making generic posts just to make the cut of 15 minimum post to stay in the campaign.

PS: Next time take permission from the other party before posting personal PMs. This is one of the reasons managers don't answer PMs per se although no harm done here.
5423  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Member-Hero Accepted) (New) on: June 27, 2020, 05:42:05 AM
Thanks for the helped but I got everything covered and also noted I try as much as I can to follow the ruled made by the campaign owner or previous manager (I have no idea who it belongs to but looking at the rules I'm force to believe it isn't that of @Hhampuz). The rules isn't against accepting previous users who were inactivity for sometime as far they have become active again and have quite a decent post history.

All offenses before the announcement are invalid so no need going to dig into the past. I'll start my assessment from this week and you all are welcomed to help clean up both campaign in removing users that think are smart. Probably most offenders are alts but since I don't have the skills or tools to detect that, I'll let it be but the moment they're caught (like the previous time), they won't escape punishment including getting red ragged.
5424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are happy only when the price goes up? on: June 26, 2020, 06:30:45 AM
Especially in the wall observer, you will see people that want bitcoin's price to get increased. Although, if bitcoin price goes down, it's good for many people too. For example, I want to get decreased so I can buy more BTC

Don't believe everything you see online and don't take things too serious as most visitors of that particular thread aren't as happy as they seems knowingly fully well some sold before the spike in price or are dying inside waiting for a dip to buy into the market but since the whole atmosphere of the threads looks positive and filled with excitement, they just play along not to look odd.

But on a general noted, no Investors wants their investment to fall in price irrespectively of them having more funds to buy the dip, they just buy when that happens but their prayers and hope will always be for their investment to keep appreciating in price.
5425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is More Popular Than Traditional Banks on: June 26, 2020, 06:22:37 AM
Probably you're using the global awareness of bitcoin to compare with each local bank in a geographical area because I see no reason why one would think, bitcoin is popular than the local banks. They have more customers than bitcoin, they're widely used for daily transaction etc. Bitcoin awareness is getting widen as the days goes by and it's online awareness is increasing drastically but when compared with the local banks, I believe it still has a long way to go.

If you're basing your comparison on the level of online presence both institution has then it would be understandable since most local banks don't have online presence as they're more interested in fulfiling the locals needs.

Update: after some weeks of closed observation of the spreadsheet I have identified some individuals that unknowingly or intentionally try to outsmart the rules put in place to help combat inactivity in the campaign. They become inactive for the 1st week then get a warning (1st warning). Trying to act smart in retaining their spot, they try as much as they can to make the minimum number of post which is 15 and most of the posts are spams per se, that's meaningless replies or generic posts. I think it's high time I introduced some strict measure to ensure hardworking users in lower tiers aren't been denied the opportunity to rank up and recieve higher rewards that they deserve.

Starting from this week's assessment anyone that has been given a 1st warning and makes just the minimum number of post to keep themselves in the campaign will receive additional strict assessment (reviewing of the posts made for the week). Any of them who fails to make the cut will be demoted to a lower rank so others who're actually been active on the forum and not treating the forum like some platform they just have to make.posts for the sole purpose of been paid, will be giving an opportunity to rank up.

If you're found guilty by me and think you don't deserve to be donated you're free to open a thread for debate on the reputation boards. The additional strict assessment will be cover by the no spam rules.

Do have a lovely weekend ahead...

5428  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the dips: do you have a specific criteria? on: June 25, 2020, 10:07:34 PM
Why do we overthink things or complicate simple things. Buying the dip isn't that hard to do and totally depends on personal experiences in my opinion. What I consider to be a dip might not be the same as yours. Currently the price of bitcoin is trading around the $9k and above range so assuming I was to buy the dip then anything below the $9k would be a perfect bargain considering I would be holding my investment for quite a long period of time.

Although the most effective way to buy the dip is to buy in batches if you're not convinced of the market retracing from your buy price range.

CHAMP19NS

Campione Campione
Ole Ole Ole

Last time we won the title I was 4 so I don’t have any memory of it. Waited my whole life for this, such a shame it’s empty stadiums. I would have been in the stadium for the next home game.

Congratulations @LFC_Bitcoin and to all Liverpool fans in the house. On behalf of Chelsea football club (fans association lol) I want to openly apologies for delaying this celebration untill 2020. Sorry for the title denied in 2014 but accept our gift to you. Not saying you guys weren't champions already but we just did the icing on the cake.

Sorry the pandemic has made this a boring celebration as there were no fans to make the stadium lively and also I think there won't be a title parade this year.

PS: is that you with the tattoo @LFC_Bitcoin?
5430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: June 25, 2020, 09:29:00 PM
We (Chelsea) did what we know how to do best, last time Liverpool where close to winning the title we took that away from them. Next was our draw against Tottenham to end the hopes of them competing for the title as a late Eden hazard equalizer drew the game 2-2. Few moments ago we just finalize the league by ending Manchester city's hope. Congratulations Liverpool, champions of Europe and now champions of England.

United fans all over the globe were supporting Manchester City not because they wanted them to delay Liverpool title celebration but just because they want to shorten the gap Chelsea are giving them in regards to the top 4 position.  Sorry to disappoint them but they're not champions league material and it would take city's misfortune for them to get a spot that's if city appeal was to be unsuccessful.

Never watched a watch as entertaining as this in quite a while.
5431  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware: FORSAGE another scheme (Ponzi) on: June 25, 2020, 01:35:55 PM
Here's what is trending in my country right now, "make money leveraging on ethereum smart contract and trust wallet". The likes of Ethereum million Money, and the project the OP just highlighted are those succeeding in defrauding millions of my country men off their hard earned Fiats. It's no surprise as the youth are more interested in making quick money instead of learning the technology behind cryptocurrency and probably taking their time to learn cryptocurrency trading or having the patience to involve themselves into investing.

The funny part is that neither of the promoters of this Ponzi have any idea of what smart contracts are or are even interested in engaging in cryptocurrency trading or investing but are conscious of the reward they'll get from introducing more gullible individuals into the scheme they found themselves in as a result of greed.

Most times I get tried of trying to educate them that what they're engaging themselves in aren't associated with cryptocurrency in anyway but just like other previous projects that claimed to be trading cryptocurrency or whatever are scams and they'll end as the likes of MMM did. We lack proper enlightenment in my country and it's troubling as many are getting decieved daily.
5432  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Black Americans are hypocrites, claims black lives matter but hate on Africans. on: June 25, 2020, 01:13:13 PM
Is not always about racism to me, I think everyone should have a level of respect for their fellow being -cutting across race, class, education, sex, gay/trans/bisexual or straight- we mostly are guilty in our own ways and until we change a slogan "BLACK LIVES MATTERS" alone will not be the answer.

In Africa we have others discriminating against their fellow Africans and this can identifed mostly with the south Africans. Did a thread about it sometime ago titled; The Xenophobic attacks on Africans by South Africans, what's your take on this. that's to say, the Black Americans aren't the only tribe, colour (or whatever they could be identified as) guilty of this offense but what worries me is the way they go all out when they get threaten but don't realize they're doing the same to other tribes most especially black Africans.

Can't confirm this but I read somewhere (online) that a black can gun down as many blacks as possible and nothing will be done per se, talk more of a protest about the crime but lets say if it was to be a white that shut a black whether it's intentional or out of mistakes there'll uproar in all media house, social media, streets etc. Note; I'm not trying to justify any crime but why don't they use the same energy for all crime instead of acting like it's cool when they (Black Americans) does it.

Charity begins at home they say and when your house isn't in order you don't expect respect from the outsiders. The black Americans should fix up their lives and maybe things might turn out differently.
5433  Economy / Reputation / Re: Forum made Sr. Member ~ On my way to Hero on: June 24, 2020, 07:30:40 PM
Must have missed this thread when it was created or probably didn't see a need then to drop a reply although after your recent bump it caught my attention and just have to review your account, I'm impressed. You have done quite well for yourself to be tagged a quality poster. The journey isn't over yet don't think so or just like most previous active contributors you'll get stuck at your current rank as a result of your productivity reducing which technically reduced your work exposure and impact on the forum.

Congratulations on achieving the hero status, make it a challenge to double your efforts so you can achieve greater heights. See you at the top, enjoy your stay on the forum.
5434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between eth 1.0 and 2.0 on: June 24, 2020, 04:42:55 PM
From an investment aspect, it's preferable you buy into ethereum now in anticipation of the upgrade as the price movement is most likely going to increase as the rumors of the upgrade begin to look achievable. The above statement shouldn't be considered as an investment advice though as I'm not a financial advisor but just giving my personal opinion.

To answer your question, the main difference between the current ethereum and the anticipated ethereum 2.0 is the consensus mechanism that ETH 2.0 will be introducing and Shard chains that aren't on the current ethereum blockchain. Ethereum uses proof of work but that of the upgrade will be proof of stake (you can research on that in your spare time, that's the difference between proof of work and proof of stake).

If you're holding your coins in a wallet you own the private key then you're ok and don't have to do anything but when it's in a centralized platform it depends on the decision of the service providers.
5435  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Black Americans are hypocrites, claims black lives matter but hate on Africans. on: June 24, 2020, 08:35:29 AM
It seems like what you're saying is that because there's a lower quality of life in Africa, Africa Americans shouldn't complain about the quality of their life in America.  Is that right?

No, that's not exactly what I'm trying to say, what I meant is that, we the Africans are been treated like we're not blacks by the African American. They (Black Americans) claims, since we didn't not pass through the slavery (struggle) they did, we're entitled to been refers to as black. They see it as an entitlements therefore discriminate against us (Africans) when the opportunity presents itself. Typically they hate other blacks that's aren't technically Black Americans.

Quote
Do you really think African Americans think Black Africans don't deserve to be treated better?  Or do you just mean African Americans generally have a better quality of life?

I'm kind of confused and trying to select my words appropriately so I won't be misinterpreted. I don't think any color deserve a better life than others. We're all human and should be treated equally. Since they complain about not been treated right by the white they shouldn't treat others badly, they should work on themselves first.

Quote
Obviously don't answer if you don't feel comfortable, but are you a Black African? (I only ask because I see your fund raiser).

I'm black, I'm Africa and proud to identify myself, anytime, anywhere, anyday. Infact to be more direct, I'm a Nigerian ✊🏿.
5436  Economy / Economics / Re: What if this pandemic persists till the end of the year? on: June 24, 2020, 07:05:01 AM
Here's the fact, the global economy won't recover in the nearest future as many are hoping for. The best it can do is cope with the pandemic and that's exactly what's ongoing in most part of the world. The pandemic and the economy would gradually learn to coexist, that's our regular life will begin as usual with few precautions not minding the pandemic still existing. If we think we can stay indoors and expect a progressive economy then we must be day dreamers and the government printing more money won't solve the problem instead it'll worsting the situation and might shutdown the economy permanently.

It's been quite a well the world experience such global meltdowns (spike in death cases) so I believe that's why many government panic and join the shutting down of their economy just to contain the virus but they're begining to understand that, that isn't the perfect solution and with time (assuming the virus persist) we'll have better solution to combat the pandemic.
5437  Economy / Economics / Re: The Covid19 Curve is Flattening on: June 24, 2020, 06:49:04 AM
The question is this; what will happened to the global economy if there is a spike in the spread of covid19 again ?

Guess the government has learnt their lesson and won't be as stupid as they were in the first instance that lead to them closing all business which resulted to a global crisis that was even more deadly than the Covid19 pandemic. In some countries, many died from hungry then they did to the virus as a result of their source of living been put on hold. Most below average individuals depends on a daily income that only takes them and their family throughout the day meaning if they don't work for that day, they can't eat and cater for other important things.

There were different ways the pandemic would had been tackled without total shutting down the economy. Educating the general public and informing them on the ways to comport themselves, staying hygienic and sanitizing their hands at every public center would had been a preferable choice and I believe that'll be the better solution in a scenario where your assumptions comes into reality.
5438  Other / Politics & Society / Black Americans are hypocrites, claims black lives matter but hate on Africans. on: June 23, 2020, 10:55:48 PM
Just as the title says, majority of the Black Americans (using majority as not all Black Americans act this way) thinks they're better than other blacks especially those from Africa just because they were privilege to live far away from their ancestry land. They act like we're not black enough and even go as far as mocking our accents, style of dressing, way of living, food etc. I haven't gone across the borders of my country but I see this ongoing daily on most social media platforms and I'm quite sure most Africans living in the diaspora would testify to this been the truth.

It quite funny as they (the Black American) protest to been treated differently and advocate for a fair system yet they make their brothers from Africa look inferior as they discriminate against us at any given chance possible. How then do they intend to pass the message Black lives matter when they act like not all black lives matter, they're hypocrites, as they're not practising what they preach.

You think it's funny, BET award (Black entertainment television) is the most anticipated black award and prior to few years back, it had the Black sorry, Africa category been given to the winners at backstage. Just imagine the Grammy's doing the same to black Americans and also differentiating between the blacks and white, that's having a sperate award just for the (2) blacks and the rest for the white.

They (the Black Americans) only come up to speak when they feel threaten but enjoy discriminating against other blacks and tribes. It's quite shameful we stand to speak and support them when they need our support yet they make us feel used. Black Americans are racist and hypocrite so until they change, F**k their selfish propaganda, they should used the hashtag that portray their inner intentions 'Black American lives matter'.
5439  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Congratulatory letter to myself. on: June 23, 2020, 09:35:22 PM
Congratulations buddy on your recent achievement although don't get why you're writing this now since you have acquired the rank for like weeks now. I remember you applied weeks back for your current campaign under my management which you got accepted although then your writing format was a little bit funny but since I'm not perfect myself I still considered your application as you had some sense in what you wrote. Glad to see you had dropped that writing format as you writing like everyone else, makes it very easy to read your write-up and hopefully you get the acknowledgement you deserve.

Ranking up isn't that easy but with zeal and determination you can achieve any rank you wish to achieve, it's no rocket science. Many have done it before you and more will still have the ranking up feeling if they truely desire to do so. Just keep on contributing positively to the forum through quality poats..

PS: While you recieve the merits, don't hoard them as there's no benefits in doing so instead reward deserving post as you come across them on the forum.
5440  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: June 23, 2020, 04:09:13 PM
I think it makes no sense comparing staking to Investing since staking it technically a form of Investing. Probably if you're comparing owning masternoods, staking or buying alts then it would be more realistic since that's what most enthusiast consider to be the difference forms of investing comparing to typically owning bitcoin.

Staking isn't that bad but a very risky form of investment especially when you don't carry out proper research and invest in a worthless shitcoins that's just been hyped and when that hypes dies down they give poor ROI as a result of the price of the coin declining massively.  Also you should rethink the mode of staking your investing into as giving your coins to a third party or not owning the private key to the wallet the coins are been staked in is as foolish as storing your coins on an exchange.
