5421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buy 5 coins and wait till each of them grows 10%, then sell on: December 04, 2020, 06:12:22 AM

If one of them didn't after a long time, the other 4 should compensate for the loss.

I can imagine it sounds like a basic strategy for experienced traders.. Smiley

Sounds pretty risky. But the odds of winning and losing will be dependent on the coins you are gonna choose. Anyway I am thinking the same too as part of my strategy but of course will pick those top 5 that worth my time and money. Also gonna used some fundamental and even trading entry point for it.

Good tokens has its advantages and potential concept, you just need to buy it and believe with it. Trading is a gamble so still this process is risky and can turn your money into nothing.
5422  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Beware Instagrammers on: December 04, 2020, 05:43:06 AM
I never knew even on Instagram crypto scam are now common? I usually seen scam on Twitter and its now the major medium for social when you talk about cryptocurrency. I think most people will find it nuisance since they will message you and talk about scripted scam statement about it. Always make sure that if there is an investment and a promise of good return more than 100% come on be sensual and pick up the line that this is most likely a scam.

Thanks for bringing here this kind of topic OP.
5423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where DeFi is headed on: December 04, 2020, 05:09:40 AM
I've seen that most of the DeFi project doesn't turn out great unfortunately I wasn't able to invest at least to 1 DeFi since I think this could be risky, so where the DeFi headed to? We're not quite sure at all maybe soon we would be able to have something new.
Defi projects a alot of functions and use cases. I like some of them but others are mainly created to do pump and dump. These people are doing a defi hype and this is where they disgrace the real concept of defi projects. If you would look on top defi then you'll be amaze to see that they are so good. Defi has now a mixed sentiment from public some like it and some hate it. But I think defi headed to a more sustainable path.
5424  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: December 04, 2020, 03:23:45 AM
Maybe make a topic in their local will help however reporting it to the FBI Cyber Crimes is the right thing you did. I really do not understand why asu is still silent unless he is much confident that FBI or low agencies will fail to get him even after he has his details with coins.ph
There is already a topic and discussion thread about this case and some members are willing to help with this loan default. Check here: Asu Loan Default

There's a fast way to track the Asu once you get the Identity. Post it on social media like Facebook and let others share it to make it viral. In that way, Police will be pressure to speedup. A 3rd World country thingy.
This is really gonna be helpful. But before doing that. Those guys that will help must make sure that the account is the real one whom actually did the loan and not other guys whose profile are being used.

There are some cases before in social media's that some people are buying the identity of other for an account restriction on coinsph. If the account associated with the address is a bought one then the guy will suffer is not the one who did loan. Anyhow I suggest that if gonna make a move, its like 100% or else someone will suffer the wrong doing of this kind of act.

@cabalism13 might be the one to actually help since he almost knew all the members closely of our internal group.

5425  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn merits? Stop asking this question frequently for newbies! on: December 03, 2020, 04:07:31 PM
There's several very established users within the forum which started off as a typical "spammer" excited by the world of cryptocurrencies, and then developed into a very informed, and useful part of the community. That is something we should be encouraging, and not be so quick to write people off.
Exactly. I understand this cause I am one before. Literally what you had described. So if ever I bumped into those beginners that have some quite misdirection, we should encourage them and correct their thoughts instead of ignoring and degrade them, newbies are always like that. Anyway I do hope that most high rank who came from this understand the situation of those at the foot level. Don't easily judge and always have leniency as we all knew they could be a good user someday.
5426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IF ONLY BOUNTIES WILL KEEP THEIR PROMISES. on: December 03, 2020, 01:30:42 PM
To avoid messed up like this. Don't ever participate on a shady campaign. Even me myself joined countless of these bounty and I can see based on the action of the BM if the project would pay or not their promise payment.

These what if should be realize by bounty participants themselves. Hope is sometime okay but begging for a project to compensate as like we are look beggars are not okay. I've had some unpaid campaigns also in the past and of course I cant force if the project totally abandon they promises. Just put a negative outlook on these people and warn others to avoid these managers if they run with them.
5427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some twist in take for BTC what's next? on: December 03, 2020, 07:51:07 AM
I think a correction will be coming soon, why is that? Because now is the end of the year and ahead of Christmas and New Year, investors may prefer to take the time to vacation, of course this will also be related to sales that may occur in the near future.
Maybe that would be right but of course its not depend on events like that but the technical news revolving to bitcoin. I may agree that some may cash out their funds for these Holidays but bitcoin price isn't gonna go crashing because Santa is coming to Town. There are huge retracement and pullbacks but the market is quite steadily for bitcoin same goes for other major altcoins. I think if this one surpass a 20k level then possible it could continue more and proceed with a new level.
5428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: December 03, 2020, 06:37:51 AM
Now bitcoin is preparing to reach another ATH. Are you still there and holding your bitcoins? What happened to your life after 10 years in bitcoin? Is there any changes?
I still holding few bitcoin only but I'm am more bullish to other altcoins. But still want to accumulate bitcoin too, so I'm gearing up to buy it at a dump price if there is a retrace that will happened. Its not good to fomo with its current price as you can see that its already at 19k level and any minute can break its ATH and also can do a run with more than what it's worth now.

There are regrets on my part selling it at a lower price but that's okay. I know I could somehow filled my bags with this precious btc.
5429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have found a good Trading Course on: December 03, 2020, 05:34:48 AM
Well, I am very much new to trading and I've been reading and watching a lot of post in this section lately. Fortunately, I found new concepts and terms that I am not familiar with in the first place.
It's alright mate. Everyone who wanted to learn trading are free to expand their knowledge. I will be checking this to see if there are cool technique and strategy.

Materials such as video is always motivate users to learn more. I am indeed prefer more actual live tutorials than simply reading off terms. If you are already geared up try to do some trades but of course wager first small amount and eventually go for huge budget when you are already used to it. I think with your caliber you can be a good trader. You are known for being resourceful and this will be a good start for you. Keep it up.
5430  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn merits? Stop asking this question frequently for newbies! on: December 03, 2020, 05:18:08 AM
One of the reason why merit source not giving merits is because bounty hunting like posting social media links and other related stuff. Some merits source do not like it and expresses not to give them merits because bounty hunting will resort to shit posting
I did remembered my profile when I was still a bounty hunter that farm in social campaign. I realized its not really good to view in our accounts. So I changed my style and give time to forum I know I am sacrificing some profits from merely campaign but the result was fine. I was able to pulled off a good ranking and bit reputation. I dont deny I am a shitposter before but I did improved myself and go for the best. Now Im good but I'm not closing my doors to altcoin campaigns since I know they are also have some potential.

Its just a matter of perspective. You can still do campaign but don't make your account too much social one which isnt really good in your profile.
5431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops are important on: December 02, 2020, 01:04:59 PM
For me its not necessary. Projects do airdrop to have exposure of their concept but its not necessary if the project has a lot of demand and engagement on their platform.

I've also participated on countless airdrops before and even know but only few chosen one. I can say that airdrop now are not comparable with the giveaway before that you can actually gained huge value from it. Now with recent gas hike it seems reward are not even worth to trade it.
5432  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: does it really make sense trading on Bitcoin? on: December 02, 2020, 06:10:00 AM
Don't get me wrong, I still hate holders ok, with their mantras, their plan-b and stf shit, butwhat I mean is may be they are right. May be BTC is in that phase where it still pays being herd, the herd of holders..
Thats up to you and I can see that you are an open minded guy. But these people tend to hold wanted the same thing as for everyone. Gain profits in the long term, its quite working if you buy btc during March Crash, you already have 6x of what you invested. Not bad by simply holding and ignoring the ups and downs of it.

I didn't owned a lot of bitcoin since I prefer to hold others than this, but I am fully confident that bitcoin will do good in the long term perspective.
5433  Economy / Speculation / Re: Nearly $ 100 million worth of Bitcoin stolen from the 2016 Bitfinex hack has jus on: December 02, 2020, 05:14:38 AM
Will this cause the price of BTC to go down?
Possible can, anything free dump on market will make btc dump. But this will take time, I'm sure hackers are not dumb to sell it in bulk, he will probably do this slowly. Like others said he will be making move to sell it on a spot market with KYC imposed. But some exchanges don't do this however they are already notified of the address.

Is that matter? Probably using a mixer to chop the balance into many wallets. But if the process will be like this, then it can't totally affect the market that big but sure we don't know how big it could swayed the market. Probably low enough other exchanges can cover the down tick.
5434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best stablecoin to use on: December 02, 2020, 04:04:40 AM
There are a few stablecoin in the market, out of them whole ch one is better one? I want to liquidate some of coins and keep them with stablecoin for few months. I know little about USDT.
Probably USDT since it is being used by majority of centralized and even decentralized platform. But for me the best alternative is busd of binance. If you are using this exchange, then busd is the best stablecoin since you don't incur fees using this pair on every coins. Having no fee on trades is benefiting their cause right? That's a convenient way to use a stablecoin. Only a suggestion since I'm using busd, but it's your preference anyway. Not sure about other new ones but definitely there are some advantages too that we ought to know.
5435  Economy / Reputation / Re: Cheating translator and incompetent manager on: December 02, 2020, 03:27:18 AM
Bounty manager nowadays doesn't do proof reading anymore on the work of translators unlike before. They just hire random guy from nowhere and accept the translation work. Bounty Detective really don't check at all what shit written on the translation work that the company is paying for.
If indeed the material submitted is copy paste then it should not been considered as work. Payment in translation is big compared to social and other types of campaign. So if the guy is paid, then it's unfair to those who are really doing hardwork to translate a source material.

I couldnt get it but their telegram group(BountyDetective) so many admins, maybe they can execute a quality check for all rather than accepting clients if this will affect the moderation and control of the campaigns they handled.

From altcoins section he has the most campaigns and doing it is probably needed more personnel to handle efficiently. Thanks OP for pointing this one out.

5436  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bounty Hunter/Sig Participant ka ba? Read This. on: December 01, 2020, 02:43:41 PM
Nakakabigla din talaga itong nangyari. Sorry ngayon lang ulit ako nakapagpost sa local at busy sa degen life.

Hands down ako kay OP, alam ko kung bakit medyo affected ka lods. Since naiintindihan mo yung hirap ng magipit sa pera pero never mo yan sinukuan or bayaran.

Like what others said. Maintindihan ng local community kung ie explain ni asu ang side nya possibly may reason behind it.

Kita ko lang yung post ng isa natin kabayan.

Just in. I recently visit coins.ph office and they are willing to cooperate to solve the issue. They need a formal letter (official Request for Information) from the authorities to share information. I hope that someone can do this in my fellow country man to help OP since this the second big loan defaulted from him.

I can submit the formal request letter to the coins.ph office once its available.
5437  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loan Default - asu u=519783 on: December 01, 2020, 07:06:41 AM
The reputation of the Philippine community is slowly but surely sinking huh?
Seems like it. I'm not sure what happened but it's clearly another huge blow to direwolf sorry buddy. Last time is also a bit big funds werent able to return from one of the locals also of Pilipinas Board.

I do hope the funds can still be returned. I dont know him. But it did mentioned here that it could somehow related to typhoon devastation but, this isn't an excuse. Lack of communication can indicate a probable scam exit.  But who knows what exactly happened, but still I do hope asu can go back and fixed this. His one of the highest reputable member of Pilipinas Board. This is just sad event.
5438  Other / Archival / Re: Uniswap V3. What is known? on: December 01, 2020, 06:41:46 AM

I don't believe any of the above can happen. The above technical factors depend on the ethereum network rather than the functionality of the exchange. The essence of the DEX is decentralized, so how can it provide leverage up to x10?

You are partly right. But we knew that eth will have their migration to eth2 with faster scalability. Maybe this will syncrhonize better when v3 is out. Their plan is good, can't believe they can't pulled this one out since uniswap is known to achieve a good progress in terms of development since v2 is out. So I think its worth a try, will try to buy uni when the price goes down maybe it could benefit me later on once v3 is already roll out.
5439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT versus DAI token on: December 01, 2020, 06:06:49 AM
How do i know what is the difference in USDT and DAI token, and which one should I use?
Definitely the difference only of these are the liquidity and owners. But purpose are both the same. If you are a trader then mostly used usdt for trading and most common on every centralized exchange.

If you are into decentralized DAI has been famous and been used on many farming tokens as either collateral or main stablecoin for gaining profits.

But other than that. Pros and cons varied with these two.
5440  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Social Media Comment with link investment on: November 30, 2020, 11:20:45 AM
Not just asked a friend but also do DD on your own. Social media is a wide and expanded hub for scammers. They knew how to act and deceived someone or everyone on their palm. I cant count how many have people got fallen on different style of these scammers. Some have accomplices in doing this kind of modus.

I've never hesitated to ask about something I don't know about. Likewise, I have never hesitated to offer well-meaning advice on a subject that I am familiar with.

This is the right approach. So what if you don't know, being boastful can't help you gain something. Always asking is protocol when you don't know what to do.
