Campey, does cryptsy api supports gzip data compression? gathering all markets data with statistic consumes about 17mb. I calculated: trading on LTC/BTC will consume about 300mb/day. I have vps and setuped ziproxy (it adds gzip support if client support it and site not). But usual way to specify proxy for java programs did not help: javaw -Dhttp.proxyHost=PROXYHOST -Dhttp.proxyPort=PROXYPORT -Dhttp.proxyUser=PROXYUSER -Dhttp.proxyPassword=PROXYPASSWORD -jar CAT.jar -Xmx2048m -Xms256m

Can i use CAT with proxy or not? No i don't think it supports data compression (there's nothing about in Cryptsy Api Documentation). For the proxy part i'm not able to give you an answer. CAT doesn't use proxy and is not configured to use  |

Well I bought a far superior and tested bot for $125 or .15 btc.
Link that bot, i'm curious to see this far superior bot. Remember that NO ONE SITE have Some Return Parameter like Cryptsy API Have. And without this parameters there's no way to create a program Like CAT. And do you know why Cryptsy have this parameter? Because i Ask Vern/John to add while writing CAT  |

I also don't understand why people look at the value of the price. The program is made to get you a Bitcoin gain, not a fiat gain. It doesn't even touch it, so why compare? I see Bitcoin and Fiat, as I see Euro and Dollars. I know both have their own value, but I don't really care, because I don't convert from one to another.
Yes you're right  But actually peoples think like that. So i prefer to sell 1 Copy @ 1 BTC that not sell anything. When People who paid 1 BTC comes here to tell the community "1.5 Is A Very Fair Price" "CAT Works Great" i will restore the right price for this tool.  |

Sampey, correct me if I'm wrong, but right now under the "quantity" parameter, I trade 10% of holdings (i.e. I have 100XPM so I set it to buy/sell 10XPM in the ping/pong) but my gain would be higher if I increased this.
Yes, there's no direct math correlation (i mean if you do 10% gain with 10 coins, with 20coins you can do 15% or 25%) but generally : big orders -> big gain. Thanks for the reply |

it is too expensive ~200 USD or ~0.3 BTC is a fair price for "testing" because gain is only possible if all parameters are ok and you have no other problems with computer, internet a.s.o.... all bots I have used yet have given me lost  "Testing" what??? Do you think i'm selling something "to test" only because i use the word BETA? Do you know you're talking about something you haven't tryed? Do you think C.A.T. is like the other bot? 0.5 is far from a gift and atm comparing to fiat is neccesary, altcoins go down due to btc rise and imo so should things like cat
IF BTC Price drops to 100 Euro, CAT Price will remain 1.5 BTC/Copy If you ROI 0.5 in 10 days, 0.5 Is a Gift, because from day 11 you have ROI. Tell me something (An ASIC, Another BOT......) that you can ROI In less than 1 month...... As i said, i can do discount, but 0.5 it's too low. As i said many times, you cannot do a compare in terms of BTC/FIAT Value. Let's do an example : if time to GAIN 1 BTC (with 2-3 BTC "Played") is 10 days, this is independent by Bitcoin fiat value, it always take 10 days. I Can make discount, of course, i always make a discount to costumers, but 0.5 is a gift |
