Banks will not disappear I believe, but here in Scandinavia (and probably other places too), banks have been inspired by the way a bitcoin transaction is processed and have launched instapay services and apps that makes bank transfers obsolete. It also omits bank fees on smaller transactions. A step in the right direction at least!  No way it will happen, banks will always be here as it's supported by the government, they created it for the people to comply with the rules of a certain state and fiat is the only legal tender that is allowed by the government when we transact, our financial standing are measure by our liquidity or the amount of money we are holding. and thats the complete reason why this statement will happen bank cant be disappear in any how government has been recognize stability in terms of hold fiat without banks it will be harder for that nation to continue its progress. |

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.
The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.
I liked your answer. I also do the same Wow if i woke up with 50M dollars.. I would not gamble it. I would just simply go on a long vacation and educate myself how to grow it and multiply it. If I have that amount - i will go to Law School... and invest in myself some more. good thinking mate finding more ways to grow your money would be much more fun and it will somehow move you away from gambling especially if you find that way from your interest it will focus your mind in what you love and make you more successful. |

There is some reasons which make gambling so much addictive things the more we get greedy than we lost the control and thinking that kind gambling is very easy way to make money for our needs, so this kind of behavior is really risky and that is why we get addicted to this. We think it's going to be easy to win every time. It's a false idea but we got it in our mind and cannot get rid of it very easy. It's very addictive too, of course.. But this false idea gets us greedy each time. It is really not easy to win each time you play gambling, it is always depend of a game, if the game is more on strategy and you know how to play it then for sure you can earn money in a short time, but once that you just have to rely on your luck it will be hard for you to win the game. thats the logic there mate the more you know the gambling that you are playing the chances of winning is bigger but if just playing and only relying from your luck its not easy to win and you will keeps on chasing your loses and make it more and more. |

Most of the time yes the house always wins. But sometimes whales beats the house because they have lots of bankroll to use for recover. For me and others who have limited bankroll, The house will always win against us unless you know when to stop when you win something. Casino are not created to give money but instead casino are created to get money from people who loves to gamble.

Normally gambling is only for adult but the problem of bitcoin is anonymous so they can't stop kids from gambling.
but i don't know why playing dice for example is like a kid game :p there is some games is not for kid like casino and others.
maybe it could damage the kids mind when he will interact with adult in gambling games.
I think they can play dice with a board of snake and ladder game, but with a dice game that is also money involve for kids, that is already that good for kids, so for those parents who is out there that didn't want to make their children addicted into it, supervise them so that they will not get hooked with it. Without money involve, they are just playing not gambling. Kids will have more fun if they play a lot of games and it will help them develop their childhood as a children. As parents we need to support them on that as it is our responsibility to raise them for good but never make them learn how to play or gamble for money, there's a right time for everything. i agree as they are still in the developing stage they should be guided with good moral information gambling is not for them its for those who can manage self control and how to completely treat is as a source of entertainment for some time. |

i honestly think somebody is working very hard to keep that price low some whales are running their own scheme it seems not sure if for (to buy more eventually) or against (running scared as part of other Coin or project) AMP but there is definately something going on  (fine with me - good time to stock up) let see if holding some coins will bring good earnings after next year as the project still in progress. good luck to us buds. |

Define success. If you expect BTC ll become every day currency, this is not going to happen. If you expect it to become an important store of values, this has already happened. So I d say it has already positioned itself as a very important financial derivative.
 I was going to ask this... "define success" For sure we can see a lot of people here trying to be rich with bitcoin and what they are doing? colecting cents on faucets, investing on ponzi schemes, for me that's not success... yes becasue thats just a small part of how to earn btc but for those who's involve to alt trading for sure they already getting enough earnings and possibility to gain even more after they successfully learn the system, me as a beginner i tend to look for more chances inside trading alts and making me more involved inside this forum for more info. |

He knows already on the risk would happen when they tend to gambling is the first place. Gambling sickness is considered as gambling addiction which could really make things wrecked up. Some people shouldn't gamble at all, simple truth not many gamblers will acknowledge.
If you have addictive personality or have trouble with managing your stress and anger in general, or specifically during your gambling session - it is better to not gamble at all.
Most likely you will lose if you do not have the right discipline needed in gambling, you might end up losing a big amount of money because you will lose control when you are gambling. Lines looks so deceiving, I may pass on this one or just bet on the warriors small time. Lakers have been playing good basketball lately but you cannot discount the ability of the warriors as they have a good rest in the OKC game when the game resulted to a lopsided win by the warriors. It's hard to say which is more important, both are required. But if you ask me, I would say that having savings is more important, given the fact that having savings you can handle your expenses and even invest.
You got it, both of them are important and needed. Because you can't even invest if you don't have savings and what you are going to do with your profit if you are not going to save it or unless you will invest it again. But I'm a bit more focus with saving because I used to save daily and I just wanted to be always in safe haven. much better to atleast put some inside investment like trading or lending its also a good ways to grow your savings just needs to get some knowledge about whatever investment you are going to enter. |

I buy bitcoin To control my money and I buy to let it sit in my wallet and wait for prices to reach higher before I started to sell them and earn a good amount of profit.
I have the same strategy. I buy Bitcoin to when the price for them will be high - sell and earn a good amount of money its just little earnings if you dont have huge amount of btc, much better to use it inside alt tradings buy low price btc then use it inside alt trading to grow. |
