5441  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammer TMAN on: September 28, 2017, 04:57:03 PM
TMAN is misrepresenting the cost/value of what he is selling..
If this equals to being a scammer, more than half of the *coin manufacturers* in that section would be scammers. Just my 2 bitcent. Smiley
5442  Economy / Reputation / Re: ! NEW USERS BEWARE "Reputable" forum members deceiving, stealing and harassment. on: September 28, 2017, 09:08:09 AM
Vod's and Lauda's feedbacks are generally pretty accurate.  No one is perfect, but both of them are on the default trust list for a reason.

The trust system here is incredibly fucked up.  When there's no checks and balances, and when the best members have the worst feedback, you know it's messed up.  But I'd still trust either one of those two with bitcoins.  That whole extortion thing with Lauda was blown way, way out of proportion by Quickseller and...quickseller's legion of alt accounts.  Talk about someone who's not to be trusted.
What reason? They have stolen miners from people. You have something good to say about them?
I've stopped mining before you even knew that "cryptocurrencies" were a thing. Therefore,

Do not hire these people. They are absolutely not qualified to do the work necessary to manage any kind of campaign.

It is actually quite a bad idea without a proper manager.
5445  Other / Meta / Re: end of all signature campaigns on: September 28, 2017, 08:39:52 AM
Funny and true.  A hard problem to address fairly though.
If we were to be honest here, we would say that literally almost nothing is being done from the administration. Hilariousandco is alone, and badly in need of backup. Theymos still refuses to appoint a secondary global moderator. Policies are not being changed. Of course it is *hard to address* when you're doing nothing. Smiley

I think the forum is still doing pretty well.
It most certainly is not. Minus a small group of people familiar with technical, this place would easily hit a top ranking on a list of the worst communities of the internet when it comes to the quality of content. The average IQ, based off of responses, is probably <90.

-snip-
You're an idiot.
5446  Other / Meta / Re: end of all signature campaigns on: September 27, 2017, 05:28:23 PM
what will happen if all signature campaigns end
What will happen? Shitposters like you..
I was wondering whether I should post something like that as soon as I've read the OP, and the following replies, but nicely done. OP got roasted.

The forum loses money by allowing signature campaigns here. Most businesses/projects don't bother buying ads when they can have their signatures plastered all over the forum for free as opposed to buying one tiny, barely noticeable ad slot.
Which is why signature campaigns need to be heavily regulated/moderated or completely shut down. I agree.

There are a lot of people who earn money from the signature campaigns and am sure that it's going to be very unbearable for them when that happens and I really don't see signature campaigns ending as long as there is bitcoins in the system. So that's nearly impossible.
Stop spamming with your bullshit, idiot.

5447  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for BOUNTY CAMPAIGN MANAGER on: September 27, 2017, 10:00:50 AM
I was trying to be polite Grin Grin Grin Grin
Thanks!
You shouldn't be, at least not in such cases. I guess it's primarily due to your inexperience with Bitcointalk, i.e. wannabe genuine posters can fool you. Similarly, it is more likely that someone who is completely incompetent, yet is offering *management* services, could fool you into thinking that they know what they're doing.

When looking for a manager for signature or bounty campaigns, you don't need to look far. Starting with this very section, you can see atriz, and Harlot tend to bump their threads often. There are some other activate/proven managers, e.g. Lutpin, yahoo62278, edward, and me. Contact a few of them and try to come to an agreement. Watch out for people who tend to *low-ball* (i.e. ask a very low amount in payment) and people who sweet talk their deal/services/etc., as those are usually the most incompetent ones.

25 000.

Sir,I want to be a bounty manager.i will try my best for your campaign.
Don't hire this baboon. You would be better off throwing money into a river.

Good list, but a bit outdated I think... 2015. Anyway, thank you, for the general idea it is a good one!
It is not "a bit outdated", rather it is completely outdated and irrelevant. People who tend to mask their spamming as genuine posts tend to make sure mistakes. You can safely ignore that thread.
5450  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust Abuse Must Stop - Lauda god will never forgive you . on: September 27, 2017, 07:17:21 AM
[...] There's only two kind of person in this earth "the one who admitted his a liar and the one who didn't admit his a liar".
Sure, but there's a significant scale there like the difference between "white lies" and outright scamming...  Roll Eyes
Those kind of statements are bullshit similar to the "Follow your dreams/passion/whatever" kind of bullshit that millennials & co. are sharing around social media, not to mention that it is logically fallacious. OP is guilty, end of story.

Lauda is a liar and an extortionist. He is wrong
Pay attention to your trust rating.  YOU are the liar.  :/
I find his statements ironic. He should take a good look at a mirror.

Lauda, I don't think cats and alcohol mix very well..  Undecided Are you sure you are able to handle it as a kitty?
If you don't prefer alcoholic beverages, then I'd suggest Cat wine. This cat mixes well with alcohol. Wink

It's called a centralized air drop, also puts an image to future decisions of the team. Grin
An Airdrop, which is funded by the team can not be decentralized in any way whatsoever.

I say let the noobs create alt accounts and get paid for their work lol. That's decentralization.
That has literally nothing to do with decentralization, and is just an utterly flawed idea based on the lack of education. It would be advisable not to comment on matters beyond your level.

Ahh that's no fair, Airdrop for Senior members only Sad
Nope. That is very much fair. Else, spammers will create 10-12 alt accounts each and drain all the coins. And the worst thing is that these people will immediately dump the coins in the exchanges, causing a drop in the exchange rates. The genuine users will suffer in that case.
I tend to find it both funny and sad that people complain about free money.
5452  Other / Meta / Re: 2 Weeks After sending msg, Still no reply from Theymos for Account recovering on: September 26, 2017, 09:35:37 AM
For an account registered May 05, 2013, the addy you signed was posted recently, July 29, 2017. Do you not have an older post with this addy or different staked addy such as from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=586898.msg7318464#msg7318464 ? Would be very easy for a hacker to post that addy to claim this account.
I agree with KWH / will watch this thread.
5453  Economy / Reputation / Re: ! NEW USERS BEWARE "Reputable" forum members deceiving, stealing and harassment. on: September 26, 2017, 07:28:07 AM
Have you even read through their negative comments? It's not just angry people... it's people who have lost money and items due to their scams!
If you are this naive, you are going to have a *fun* life and should leave the crypto ecosystem right away. Not a single one of those ratings is true/warranted.

Forum moderators have been notified countless times and they never do anything about it.
Which has nothing to do with the trust system to begin with.

These are just facts.
Fiction.

Next time you should read more closely before writing something here.
Next time don't act shady and you won't be tagged. You claim that Vod demanded money for the removal of his rating, which is absolutely untrue and then you proceed to claim that those negative ratings on us are true? Idiot. Roll Eyes

They have stolen Antminer D3s from a new user last week as part of a group effort - they talked the new user into shipping them D3s with payment being sent when the miners were received. Of course the new member never received his money for the miners - now he lost 2 x Antminer D3.
I was initially hesitant on calling you out as an idiot, but that's just me being too lenient. Quoted and tagged again.
5454  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda blemishing Theymos' forums on: September 25, 2017, 07:37:15 AM
You are making unfounded claims...
Completely unfounded:

It must be tough living in that basement with your failed escrow scamming business as all you got left is attacking others. Undecided
5455  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should hilariousandco *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: September 25, 2017, 07:34:32 AM
Lauda will use alternate accounts to extort users.
Pathetic irony; grow up QS. Roll Eyes

Lauda regularly refuses to provide evidence of allegations he makes when leaving negative ratings, making it impossible to dispute what lauda alleges.
* Lauda waits for your evidence of my "alternate accounts". Cheesy
5456  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda blemishing Theymos' forums on: September 25, 2017, 07:24:28 AM
Give it up Quickseller, trying to fool someone who isn't aware of your alts with your *concern trolling* is really starting to look really pathetic. Roll Eyes

On the moon
I prefer Mars, but I'll take it. Tongue

away from the escrow scammers  Grin
So, away from Quickseller? Roll Eyes

Extorting people even if they're an alleged scammer/fraudster is pretty shady to be honest. Too many people on this forum behave like they're some sort of private law enforcement and run around conducting "investigations" and sting operations...  Roll Eyes
Tja, it's not like a certain user and his shills (one of which is OP) is not beating a dead horse. The case happened 8 months ago, and obviously I am no longer "part" of the people that you're referencing. It's not like this forum doesn't have *huge issues* that need attention, other than the butthurt drama threads popping up every now and then. Sigh.

Hi Lauda, I'm already enrolled into the avatar program, I've now added the signature.
Do I have to do something else, or will you add me to the next cycle?
Thanks
Next round.

Campaign update: The avatar payments have been reduced. The minimum amount of required posts per 2 weeks has been increased to 30 (15 to reach 50%) of the payout. 5459  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda deletes my posts on: September 24, 2017, 12:29:06 PM
Edit:  I read too fast and too little and missed that.  Well, you're not teaching anyone a lesson here.  That's the way this forum is.  Maybe you can become a shotcaller when you rank up and if you get on the DT list.  Till then, suck it up, buttercup.
Don't get fooled by OP. I've made so many posts, that you could take a lot of things out of context, falsely compare them and attack me.

Though I'm stil a Jr member but have been on this forum for a while and I never see any misconduct by Lauda. However, I checked the above thread and the 1.7btc mention is a price a campaign owner must pay and is a leave or take it situation just like the real world business proposal. Therefore, I don't see anything with that.
We are not even looking for new clients at this time, which is why I'm rarely bumping the thread up. I'm well aware of the pricing, and the comparable amount of posts that you could get by running a classic signature campaign. I most certainly do not need "concern trolling disguised as criticism" in any of my threads. Anyhow, this thread is just part of those smear attacks on me. That put aside, just this:

At the top of the thread:

"This is a self-moderated topic. If you do not want to be moderated by the person who started this topic, create a new topic. "

You are welcome. You may lock this thread.
