5441  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: June 22, 2017, 03:35:32 AM
If I have more btc I would like to buy clothes were I can purchase with bitcoin. Also I would like to buy plane ticket thru bitcoin because I love to travel anywhere.

I heard Japan airline is accepting btc for travel bookings. As they legalize bitcoin in their country. Hope many countries will be soon implementing this kind of transaction. For we can travel all over the world using our btc.

And yeah I also wanna buy using my btc some properties like real estate and some small business. Like a real time investment.
Worst things comes, we always have a back up.
5442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell Bitcoin ahead of 1st Aug Hard Fork on: June 22, 2017, 03:24:32 AM

To think that you confidently sold a large percentage of your Bitcoin because of some rumors and now that you observed the slow recovery of Bitcoin, you are asking for a feedback or advise if you should buy back. Act firm on your decision and decide based from yourself and not of others.

The August 1 thing is still uncertain and no one really knows if it will be good or bad. Volatility is there every minute.

Yes its true. It would hurt but this is the reality tho.
Many anticipated August 01 and many of us that our hope is too high. Lets wait for that day, hope that will bring us to a better chain.
5443  Economy / Speculation / Re: India to legalize bitcoin on: June 22, 2017, 02:29:52 AM

Legalize means to make or to allow something legal by law. While regulate means to make regulations for nor corcening.
So India will just regulate the usage of bitcoin in their country. Making laws how to regulate the usage of btc it doesn't necessarily mean they will control it. Coz when a government legalize the usage of btc they'll do some investigations who are those using btc so the sole purpose of btc will be gone. The anonymity. However, this is great news to read. Hope there will be climb in btc price.

Woah! What an another great news. It seems that Asian countries are starting to legalize bitcoin. After Japan, Philippines and now India. We know that India has a very big population so if a big percentage of their population started to use bitcoin. Then that will be good for the demand of bitcoin. Who's next? Roll Eyes

Tell me your just joking brother. I don't think that Philippines is one of those country that legalize btc. There's no news about that.
5444  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is on August 1, 2017? on: June 22, 2017, 02:08:37 AM
Oh if this true this is good news. All the worries will be gone. Its time for the upgrade of chain. Thanks for this. Oh just one thing, is this in what article? Whats the link, I wanna read it.
Instead of using the term cancelled, as the person you quoted did, I find it better to say that a UASF is more or less prevented with the upcoming 'agreement' for Segwit2x. Currently we're at 80% support already (which is a good thing), and now it's purely waiting for the code to be released to set the next important step. I am seriously excited with how things are going now. Smiley

https://news.bitcoin.com/70-percent-bitcoin-hashrate-signaling-segwit2x/
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/segwit2x-is-a-go-80-of-bitcoin-network-signals-for-upgrade/

And yes we will all be 100% happy.
Like just what I read the first, the code will be running first on June 21st.
Let's wait for the result of this. Crossed fingers.  Wink
5445  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: June 22, 2017, 01:32:27 AM
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?

Lol! I don't want to teach my kids about bitcoin.
Like I dont want them to be more focus on internet. I want them to play outside. Have dirt in their hands.
Play until get exhausted. Do some physical activities. Men just like the old days when technology didn't take our childhood.

Woah I feel nostalgic.  Kiss
5446  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: June 22, 2017, 01:27:59 AM
It is possible. Many countries are pushing this cashless or electronic payments but on the other side how about the third world countries like us? Would they consider the situation of these countries? There are many people living only on the streets. We might not be able to adopt that kind of system easily. But as we all know its our governments responsibility to raise the economy and make the country progressive like the others. Well lets see what will happen in the near future

Indeed.
Only first world countries can be a cashless society but in third world countries it is impossible. Like in the far provinces, they don't know or they dont have a smart phone and electricity so what more of internet? Even I living in a first world country I wouldn't go cashless at all. I want something tangible. We can be cashless even if there's fiat. Just like now. Money on your bank while paying bills through internet. Well I'm enough for that.
5447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoins do you want to hold in 2017? on: June 22, 2017, 01:13:09 AM
I'm looking for ethereum in the future, even though their price of this coins was not consistent and it seems to fall down I believe that in the following days ethereum were raising up again.

Yes I also believe on that. Eth has a future and even it have pump and dump its normal as a crypto currency. Hope after this dump eth will rise again. And yeah I'm holding eth as for my long term investment like btc. Im also holding ltc. Ltc also have a future.
5448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: June 22, 2017, 01:07:46 AM
What would be your target price of Ethereum for 2022?

Im very optimistic to eth, I can't say it right now but I'm looking forward with eth.

Here old Ponzi "investors" trying to sell his SCAM to new "investors".

Why though? Coz its premined?
5449  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Will Bitcoin will be declare as legal or not ? on: June 21, 2017, 05:47:48 AM
iNDIA  declaring bitcoin as legal is not possible at this time till some country implement it and prove the positive sides they wont take risk and in India the government is corrupt so they wont give bitcoin legal status until they find it profitable for them.

my Indian friend and of course a bitcoiner told me that this upcoming June 30, India will be legalize bitcoin.
That's good news and we should expect another climb in bitcoin. Hurray!  Grin
5450  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: June 21, 2017, 04:59:05 AM
I don't think that we should do anything actually! When you try and force something up on somebody, that doesn't work well as imagined!

We need to keep improving on our technology and on our applications and all these people, merchants, etc, will come towards us eventually when they see and hear about all the benefits that Bitcoin can give to them!

Yes I agree on you.
There's no way we encourage them. They just close the doors for you like they don't even bother at all especially the old ones.
Its not bad to dream of the future of btc but this thing is sick. Its unrealistic.
Unless government legalize it so it will have a mass adoption.
5451  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is on August 1, 2017? on: June 21, 2017, 04:40:42 AM
iam hear in August 1st, 2017 , bitcoin implementation hardfork or segwit
if succes bitcoin price can incraese very high, because transaction can faster and can reduce fee sending

This a good news on bitcoin, but there is always a fear from speculations of other sectors of negative thinkers. If that hardfork or segwit implementation will bring good future of bitcoin, then let it happen so that bitcoin price will substancially be increasing at higher rate. When we have faster transaction and fee is reduced it attracts more investors invest with bitcoin, and strong hold will be developed.

Well i hope after august 01 it will good fortune in btc, but actually it sudden me when I read the article.
That the majority of miners should go for SegWit and if not that happen, the block chain will split into two.
And if this will happen, there's a threat in our funds like it could somehow lose. So we better have a back up.
5452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it worth buying bitcoins now? (2000$ /btc) on: June 21, 2017, 03:30:35 AM
buy bitcoins at anytime when the price is stable, like the situation now.....

Well if you wanna take the risk now, go. Buy what you can afford.
But if you can wait until it falls much better.
However, for the moment in August 1 will happen we will never know if buying today is good or not.
5453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin hit 3500$ in 2018?  ??? on: June 21, 2017, 02:52:17 AM
Yes it can possibly be happen in 2018. Its not that far though.
We're now in $2700 so maybe this year ends it will go to $3000.
But of course it always depends on the supply and demand.
Higher demand thus low supply that will means higher value of coins.

Hope other altcoins folllow the rise of btc.
5454  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sold on: June 21, 2017, 02:41:13 AM
I sold about 10% of my stash. I'm not sure whether the bubble has burst or not, but I decided I'll take some profit (bought at sub $100). We might see $5000 or $10000 in the next few days, but I'm pretty sure the price will go down to $1500 (or even lower) at some point in the next few months or next year, and that's when I'll buy more. If that doesn't happen then it's fine, I'll invest in something else.

What do you think of my decision?
Wrong move my friend, price will never reached the low price which is 1500$ again., im seeing bitcoin price will hit 5000$ before the end of this year. I will never ever sold my bitcoin this 2017.

Well as long Im not seeing a huge news about btc, and there's no way to fall the price to $1500. Thats too low for our rate today.
And we can never tell what will happen to august 01 but many anticipates it. Hope thats a good news.
5455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: June 21, 2017, 12:16:42 AM
their government wants something that they can grasp in their hands, since bitcoin is decentralized, they can't manipulate it so
some are banned or not supported by their own government. These governments are the one's that are corrupt or under a communist party. I feel pity for the people in those country. As for my country as long as its not illegal and its not drugs they're hands off. Well as for now.
5456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum in 5 years on: June 20, 2017, 05:37:39 AM
I predict the next five years ethereum $ 200 dollars for the highest price

lol..thats funny

Like wtf?! Seriously? Grin
In 5 years maybe it would pump to $1000 - $1200.
That would be reasonable though.
5457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: June 20, 2017, 05:19:02 AM
Base on my experienced how to control greed its been do manage your time and have self control. Once you won withdraw your profit then stop playing and return back again in another day to play. That is the my way to control my greed.

The other way to control greed in gambling is stop going to casinos, stop everything that connect to you to gambling world.
Like what I did in my addiction, i totally quit the gambling. Coz' like I can't control it, I almost lose all my money and the worst is I
almost lose my house coz' I even collateral the title. That's my biggest mistake. So for me, no other way but to totally quit. It's not that easy but its all worth it.
5458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: June 20, 2017, 04:29:27 AM
How does one Put down Gambling for good?

Try marrying someone who already have 5 kids, maybe that should work. you'll probably save every penny and may even rob a bank once you have your own kids.
Kids really help for sure not for all people but for the most. Also a yelling wife can help you out haha.

Haha I will go with the yelling wife. I think it will help me a lot!  Grin
If that's the very effective way to quit me to gamble. Thanks for that!
5459  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't you like about Banks and Banks controlling your money on: June 20, 2017, 04:12:44 AM
I hate the fact they add fees on everything.

Where do you bank? Where I'm at in the UK banking is free and near instant transfers are free too. Elsewhere in the EU you can do intra EU transfers that are almost as fast that cost very little.

Wow your country is awesome!
Well as for my country, everything is like gold.
Fees on every transaction like if you gonna transfer some money to other account, they will charge you instantly.
High interest in loans. It sucks really. And lately something happened in some banks, there's an unauthorized withdrawals,
they say its a bug some other says someone get hacked the system. That's why I don't like banks but we have no other choice.  Angry
5460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin has surpassed $50 for the first time in history on: June 20, 2017, 02:03:09 AM
Litecoin is indeed doing great, bought a few with 35$ each, now 50$!
Great news!

LE: Now I regret I did not buy more Sad Cheesy
