5441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: YO-EX ---- FAST, RESPONSIVE AND FEATURE PACKED EXCHANGE. on: January 10, 2017, 02:41:05 PM
Good luck in competing with yobit in signature campaign if there will be any, only reason for yobit to be successful in their business is the sig campaign besides the blacksmith's skills in design and coding.
I am just frankly saying what I think will make your service a high volume and more visitors and traders joining and trusting every day only if you go heavy on advertising and paying from pocket.
5442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Very Small Transactions Unconfirmed for Days ?? on: January 10, 2017, 02:29:31 PM
Every time I want to send bitcoin I enter an amount bigger than my balance and it tells me how much I can send after fee is deducted, shows in red in blockchain.info, You could transfer funds between your own addresses like putting all balances in one but only after you successfully sent the transaction then you could see balances from other addresses were automatically transferred to your main wallet address, but after they updated the wallet you need to first transfer your small amounts to one addy first with fees each time and then being able to have a total balance in main add.

This thing just destroyed their usefulness for me.

However I have imported addresses but still can't move funds between them without fees, I don't know what is going on with their connectivity to network but some times there are only 20 nodes connected and many times 0 nodes shows.
5443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Usage Reduce Demand Of Fiat? on: January 10, 2017, 10:14:15 AM
Seems like no one knows when bitcoin truly would be recognized as what it really is, and that's around 80 up to 100 years from now. Please stop joking can't laugh no MOAR! demand reduced comparing the fiat market is something between $5000B and $650,000B against $15B worth of entire bitcoin ecosystem?
Bitcoin wasn't really meant for our time period and I think that's the downside of open sourcing new technologies without properly studying every aspects.
5444  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 10, 2017, 09:59:32 AM
Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous, so it's not ideal to hide "black" money in a technology that can be traced back to the person hiding that money. There are other Alt coins with full anonymity more suited for that purpose. Even if you use mixer services with Bitcoin, the authorities can still subpoena these services to release the data, and then you will have to give a explanation for that money. ^hmmmm^
Wrong about governments to get court order to force mixers give them access to their clients information and logs, because there is no log and information since all will be completely deleted and destroyed, unless the mixing service is hiding the truth but I doubt it otherwise no one would have used their services, so when there is no data to release you can relax as mixing services are the ICON for money laundering.
But hey, fire also burns but it depends how you are using it for good or hurting others. bombs kill people but you seeing governments to stop manufacturing them? so bitcoin can be potentially destructive, just GTFO so as a razor blade or a fly going into your brain from your nose Cheesy.
5445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make Bitcoin Mainstream Right Now! on: January 09, 2017, 08:26:14 PM
First take a look at every single bitcoin's alternatives and their marketcaps, already a successful and multi billion economy.
Some services need to provide their unique products only accepting bitcoin.
Make it so when someone selling stuff online accepting bitcoin doesn't wake up in the morning and finds out due to price drop he/she not only didn't profit but lost from pocket as well, this could be achieved by automation trades and exchanges like no matter the price you will always pay equal to fiat amount in bitcoin and the seller will get the fiat equivalent to current btc price in matter of minutes in their bank accounts.

Advertising in different sites with the most traffic and daily visitors is one of the best options anyone could think of, because if I don't know and not aware of something even exists then how can I use, follow and contribute at all?
5446  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: refind bitcoin lost after a transaction rejected by blockchain.info on: January 09, 2017, 08:01:48 PM
There is no matching hash for the txid you provided which means it doesn't exist, usually any transactions rejected or double spent should be back in your wallet, have you tried to obtain the private key for your bitcoin address? you might be able to get your money only if you have the private key.
Would be good if we knew your bitcoin address. both addresses actually sender and receiver.

Oh and nice poll, 2 people voted on 1 and 1 Cheesy Cheesy Smiley.
5447  Economy / Speculation / Re: This pull back is great on: January 09, 2017, 07:51:25 PM
Are you guys and gals telling me that you didn't know a drop is eminent? should you necessarily watch a physical balloon inflating to believe the term " bubble" ? though bitcoin's bubble is not popping and never will and we need such bubbles since they attract more interesting people with filled pockets.

Fortunately there is a strong community holding bitcoin,s flag and providing enough air(support) for the bubble never to pop. Smiley
5448  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitdouble.io | social gambling game | Prov fair | 0.025 mBit faucet | VIP Prog on: January 09, 2017, 06:39:42 PM
Bitdouble.io is one of the legit and reliable betting casinos, I have my own experience using their service already won x14 (green) and withdrew immediately then received, they have paid their signature participants on time.

Recent case is about one person to trust others with his/her account credentials and now throwing accusations, it's not like you won and they aren't paying but there has been complications, it's just like if someone stealing money and gamble with that money and wins big but the casino admins find out about it and refuse to give the thief his prize but wanting to actually give back the stolen money to it's rightful owner, so if doing that makes bitdouble not trustworthy so be it.
5449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which trading exchange is more safe ?? on: January 09, 2017, 04:24:48 PM
Jumping from yobit to poloniex is a big leap indeed, one thing I don't like about polo is that they are not accepting registering from all countries unlike yobit, I'd also would recommend c-cex and cryptopia because I've done many deposits and withdraws without problem so far.
You know there are so many good and reliable mobile friendly exchanges out there and they just need more and better advertising.

Yobit and polo are both safe but you need to decide for yourself and just keep your funds in offline wallets after finished trading.
5450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If the mining profits decrease, will Bitcoin end? on: January 09, 2017, 02:21:23 PM
Mining profits or reward has nothing to do with bitcoin being popular and will never change anything for the largest mining companies, they will always get their profits, this is something proven by time and even though halving happens only crazy thing is the race between miners and them adding mining machines day after day and I think this was intended by satoshi to make people actually do hard works to earn bitcoin to make it more fair whether big or small you need to consume electricity and resources, so for those people thinking bitcoin comes out of the thin air should think again.
5451  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Open Scammer DataBase - Never get scammed again on: January 08, 2017, 07:21:52 PM
<snip>
This is very cute, having a trust system completely off site of bitcointalk forums, but why not just click on "trust" in everyone's profile and decide whether that person is trusted or not? why do we want to go to your site for doing that? imo a total waste of time and a failed attempt to get some bitcoin as donation.
Yep, that's a derp and a half.  This is exactly what our trust system here is for, and it's much easier to use than this digital Rube Goldberg contraption OP is pitching.  Also, OP should probably see if that red trust he got from yahoo can somehow be resolved.  Not smart to try to start up an escrow service when you're a newbie.

The red trust on these forums has zero value, so that's not true at all. You can pay people on the default trust list to neg rep anyone you want. You can also BUY rep by buying a DT account. Trust on these forums is absolutely worthless. You should follow the person's history, not whether or not they ticked off someone by saying something and got neg repped to oblivion even though they did nothing wrong.

Yeah all i takes is for someone to get butt hurt about something you said and you can get some red trust.
The trust system on any forum is a joke because they most of the time don't even keep track of it.
Also they offer no punishments for false reports against people.
I believe trust system here should be moderated and mods (DT members) decide who receives the red tag and there should be some rules about it as well, the feedback comments there already and many people may have been scammed but the scammer never received red trust and that is why we need some new rules, however one needs to check their buyers/sellers trust feedbacks whether with red or green scores.

If you ever see DT members abusing trust you need to make a thread and keep it on top for a few weeks at least only if diplomacy(being nice to them and asking as polite as it gets without any harsh words) didn't work and the abuse was repeated.
I have seen DT members removed after abusing the system and or being reported.
5452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many % fee do you pay to convert to fiat? on: January 08, 2017, 09:00:50 AM
I do this with a local exchange which is automated and I can see the amount of money that I'll receive it even refreshes every 20 seconds and it depends on price of dollar against my country's currency if I'm getting more or less but they always calculate a %2.5 fee in converting dollar to local currency, all I needed first to register with my own credit card and ID verification and the rest happens smooth and easy.
5453  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open Scammer DataBase on: January 08, 2017, 08:42:59 AM
Wait, didn't you announce this already? oh my bad now this is in development phase, but people never trade with random strangers on skype or places like this forum and mostly they get to know about a deal here and then they might meet up in skype and the forum has a trust system I know it's far from anything perfect but still the feedback coments are in there by DT members or not.
I could go in several forums and scam people with the name of "satoshi" and what happens someone search it? it will just confuses people.
Not to mention the never ending complaints about unfair and false accusations. and in a forum you should trade with trusted members anyways so their trust has to be established somehow for this forum works with trust system.
5454  Economy / Services / Re: Earn 0.01 btc just subscribing my youtube channel on: January 08, 2017, 07:49:44 AM
You all need to ignore the requested task and whether is a scam or wrongly putted tittle! just a perfect method for a legitimate excuse for the signature campaigns participants.
But I'm amazed to see how fast people create a new account and have some spare youtube channel as well though not that having a channel is hard but being a fool and actually doing the task is painful, I was once a fool as well Smiley.
5455  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What happens to bitcoins sent to other addresses? on: January 08, 2017, 03:50:56 AM
667 words total (excluding quotes)
You actually took the time to write this?  Huh
Yes, gotta increase my post count  Tongue

But seriously, OP asked some questions, I answered. He clearly has a lack of understanding of how Bitcoin works, so I am taking the time to inform him. Of course he should do his own research and not rely on hand-holding and the good will of strangers to answer his questions. But simply saying "You don't understand Bitcoin, do your own research" simply is not helping, especially if you don't point him to any good resources on how it works.

Also, regarding his current rank and lack of knowledge, having a high ranking account does not mean that you should understand Bitcoin. It just means that you are active on the forum for a while or bought a high ranking account. Don't expect much out of high ranking members unless they have shown a history of knowledge and understanding.
After reading someone posted saying that he/she wants to do study on bitcoin I provided some info but not the technicalities and that got me thinking about a few questions that I needed the answers in one place for reference.
Problem many people facing and the reason for not using bitcoin is because of the same lack of knowledge and the process needed to fully and truly understand them simply scares away the general population.

And no this isn't a bought account, and things you said is like satoshi himself telling them Smiley I want to know if others knowing those things and are not part of the bitcointalk or bitcoin.org group of experts.
But again the results I was looking for are the same, either have the skills in coding and understanding of crypto and mathematics and mechanisms involved or trust the experts which in my case I'm trying to see how many nice and skillful polite experts like yourself are here that I am trusting them and could refer people to for knowing them, read their posts and decide for themselves if they want to enter crypto world and not just take my words.

In case if any one wondering if I'm just trying to make more posts for my signature? I will not post again here if not needed and will edit my already submitted posts.
5456  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What happens to bitcoins sent to other addresses? on: January 08, 2017, 03:12:32 AM
Read about bitcoin, watch videos, read the whitepaper, read bitcoin wiki, google is your friend.
I am off to check your posts to see how on earth you became a Sr. Member.
Really? I save your time by telling you that having ranks is just a matter of time and not knowledge or skills.
I don't want the information from wiki and google just refers to places like this forum? so first those infos need to exist and my questions aren't simple and they have many different answers, I wanted to know other people's answers and to see how many people think about such things and even if know any answers to my questions.

For second poster, so anyone going to use bitcoin and know the basics needs to be familiar with coding?
5457  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / What happens to bitcoins sent to other addresses? on: January 08, 2017, 02:54:01 AM
How exactly bitcoin addresses work? what determines whether an address is for bitcoin and not for it's clones or some altcoins?
What happens if you send bitcoin to other addresses or vice versa?
Is it possible to create an address offline? if so then how the system knows if it can deposit bitcoins in it or not?

Now what if a group of few thousands members decide to clone bitcoin and have control over a few considerably large volume exchanges and do trades then how can we tell the difference?
Or what if a bitcoin node which has the ledger tries to clone bitcoins by using the blockchain information in hard drive? or they just use blockchain as their clone's block chain?

What should people know when using different wallets and exchanges?
What happens if 50 nodes go offline or in a fake online environment and do transactions and do the confirming themselves? is it possible for miners to predict the hashes of future to be bitcoins and use it to create them and then the network verify those coins as legit ones?
Where exactly new bitcoins generated by which mechanism that is in nodes wallet software? which one of nodes creates the problems for miners to solve? and what if someone finds a way to make the system favor some selected miners?
5458  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Open Scammer DataBase - Never get scammed again on: January 08, 2017, 02:11:18 AM
Today I launched a service called Open Scammer DataBase (OSDB). Our goal is to lower scam rates.

How can I use it?
Just go to https://osdb.pw every time you want to trade with someone. There you just enter the username of the person you want to trade with and after some milliseconds the website will answer with one of four options:
- <username> is trusted. - This means the user you searched for is known as being trusted and it is virtually impossible they scam you
- <username> is a known scammer. - This means the user you searched for is known as being a scammer. It is quite sure that he will scam you. DO NOT TRADE
- Failed to contact database - Something went wrong on our side and the database couldn't be checked for the username. Just try it again later.
- <username> could not be found in our database. - This means the user is unknown. You don't have to be more careful than usually but you should be careful anyways.

How can I submit scammers?
Please first go to https://osdb.pw and check if the user is already marked as scammer. If not go to https://osdb.pw/submit-scammer.html and enter the usernsme of the scammer and a reference as verification about the scam. We will check and (if the report was real) add it to our database as soon as possible.

How can I submit a trusted person?
Please do the same as nmfor scammers but use the form at https://osdb.pw/submit-trusted.html

How can I support you?
For financial support which helps us keeping the site running and updated you can donate to the bitcoin address 17gHuJyTSSFJoqZ3wN6FbTyEu9sKfLW57B . Everything sent there will be used for OSDB.
A great way to support us is submitting trusted people and scammers, too
This is very cute, having a trust system completely off site of bitcointalk forums, but why not just click on "trust" in everyone's profile and decide whether that person is trusted or not? why do we want to go to your site for doing that? imo a total waste of time and a failed attempt to get some bitcoin as donation.
5459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading between exchanges? on: January 07, 2017, 11:15:40 PM
From what I can see, the price margin between btc-e and bitfinex for BTC/USD as of right now is 49 USD.
Is it feasible to buy BTC from btc-e, and sell on bitfinex? Or do the fees completely kill the profit?
Has anyone tried something like this?
It is possible but don't you think smarter(faster or admins) people know and see such opportunities? I once tried to sell an altcoin since price was so high in some exchange and went on buying in another exchange and was so happy that I didn't check first to find out deposit is disabled where price was high.
I believe there is always a catch in doing that, would it be the admins of those services doing it themselves and will never let you and I to be successful in doing it?
But I doubt that fees could have any real impacts on profit, simply there are automated trades taking place by using bots and only way to get a head of others is using bots.
5460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your luck in 2016.? on: January 07, 2017, 11:07:14 PM
Never won something worth mentioning, maybe a few bucks here and there but I've lost so many times to so many services.
It's like they lining up just to take my money Sad and as a result I have somehow stopped gambling until I can find a reliable casino.
