5441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 19, 2019, 01:40:33 AM
Golden State Warriors has a strong lineup and most of them are Allstars, even if next season they still have a high chance to get the championship ring back.
If most of the players of Golden State Warriors are healthy during the championship, do you think they can beat Toronto Raptors?

Without Durant, that's hard to tell, probably Toronto might win as they have confident now and they also want to reign in the NBA.
Actually I am not expecting it would be easy for the GSW to enter in the Finals now that AD is on the Lakers, they need to beat a hungry team like Lakers first.
5442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Decent Exchanges? on: June 18, 2019, 11:56:17 AM
I do not think that there is any exchange that is not susceptible to being hacked or having such an issue, as long as you are not part of the programming team, you will only believe what you are told, personally I find more comfortable with older exchanges for now, like Bittrex and co. There are good new ones coming out though but I still trade with Binance

Bittrex is an old exchange, older than Binance in the business and they were able to retain their good reputation.
IIRC they haven't been hack yet, but the recent hack happen to Binance so regardless on how big or small you are trusting, they are all vulnerable to hacking.
5443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trade on Latoken on: June 18, 2019, 11:33:12 AM
I am interested in trading in Latoken, a few weeks ago I was invited by friends to trade in Latoken, so far I have gained new experiences with a few coins and got a little profit.
I want to share my experiences here and make sure that Latoken is safe, is my decision right?

If you are sharing it based on your honest experience, then you are doing the right thing.
Not a lot of traders appreciate the site, but you have a good experience trading on the site, so that feed back is accepted.

Personally, I don't trade in an exchange with low volume, I prefer in big exchange like Binance but on your part, it's also nice that you try a small one.

This is one of the reasons why I don't trust a lot of exchanges, https://www.forbes.com/sites/tomrodgers1/2019/04/04/99-of-volume-could-be-wash-trading-as-bitcoin-takes-back-5000/#7fcd641e23d5
5444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did anyone try to beat the household? on: June 18, 2019, 02:41:26 AM
Tell me hoestly, have you ever think about beat the household?
I first, YES, i did think about it. But never work!!
Always do lol, whenever I gamble all I want is to break the household but I can’t

I remember a friend when we were young, when there is a local gambling that we use to play and luckily he beat the house and we take home all the money from the banker

But in the following chanced he never made it again and he made losses a lot from that point

You need some extreme luck in order to beat the house, if you believe on the saying that "The house always win" you'll never attempt to.
It's alright to experiment but experiment should come with extra caution and must not risk a huge amount of money.
5445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: June 18, 2019, 02:32:48 AM
It is surprising that betting odds on big sport sites are not in favor of Pacquiao. I initially though that he would be a favorite, even if his best years already gone. Maybe it will add an extra motivation for him to prove he still worth to bet on!

I was surprise in start but I realize his opponent is not an easy one, and that makes this fight more exciting, probably we will see some real fights here.
With that said, I'd like to add some extra spice while watching it, and I will not hesitate to bet against Thurman, PACMAN all the way, regardless of the odds.
5446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The consequences of gambling on: June 18, 2019, 02:19:15 AM
I only place bets at a minimal cost. But I do really experience a lot of the consequence you have listed.  Basically, I used to crave of victory and every time I lose, it hurts me and makes me stressed. Ending up making me anxious and guilty from what I did. The "I shouldn't have" thoughts will come to your mind always. My family was bankrupt because of gambling and that is the reason why I don't gamble with higher cost. I only use my extra asset in gambling and guess what? I always lose. But gambling is gambling.
Every gambler maybe experience what you experience, the longer you play the more you get experience, and it's necessary you learn from those experience. Gambling by definition is for entertainment or for fun, but in order to achieve real fun, we need to be discipline and always stay in control all the time, of course risking what we can afford to lose only is necessary.
5447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Video call for KYC verification on: June 17, 2019, 02:29:12 AM
I have never verified KYC via Video call. Because no project has ever done that. Usually use only forms or fill directly on the web. For video calls, I honestly have never done it. What should we display if we verify via a video call. Are we obliged to speak English or have a little chat.

I would consider that project a scam if they will require this kind of verification, just for bounty alone, I would not risk my identity to the site that has not build their reputation. I was once complied with this kind of verification but that was on the local exchange I use on a regular basis, and they are regulated so I trust them.
5448  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: June 17, 2019, 02:20:06 AM
I honestly believe Bitcoin price will reach these 20k USD even before Christmas..

That's not impossible to happen, actually the opening of the year is more crucial as we are coming from a bad year, but here we are at the situation now where bitcoin is already bullish, I even expect that before the end of the 3rq quarter we will have a new ATH then.

Bitcoin might rise to as high as $10,000 this month, that's just a prediction but that's a big barrier or what we called psychological barrier, but when that price will be breach, bitcoin will continue to soar high.
5449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop in ICO Price after listing on: June 17, 2019, 02:08:37 AM
I think because you invested in a wrong time because its a bear market season, even bounty hunters are having a hard time earning good amount because i think people loss confidence on ICOS because lots of then are scams. IEOS are the new ICO and if you to invest do it on binance launchpad because you will surely have great profit if you are lucky to get in.

The price drop was a big problem but there's a bigger problem now which is ICO coins are not listed and ICO are not generating funds from the investors anymore. You are right, it was the IEO that took their potential investor as IEO is better in any angle of crowd funding.
5450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: June 17, 2019, 01:49:34 AM
Can I swap Pundi X now? I have OLD pundi X?

If you are talking about swapping PXS to NPXS than that period has ended long back. If I am not mistaken Sep '18 was the last month of the swap.
But if you are talking about swapping NPXS to FX you can still do that using the Xwallet app.

He probably talking about PXS  as he mentioned an old token.

I made a research for him, and found this - https://medium.com/pundix/pundi-x-token-swap-concluded-aecc58ec0735

According to the link posted above.

As announced in mid March, 20th September 2018 is the last day of PXS / PXSXEM to NPXS / NPXSXEM swap.

This means PXS and PXSXEM lose all their utilities after the swap deadline. PXS and PXSXEM Owners cannot swap their old tokens for the new ones. They will not be able to get monthly unlocked tokens, either.
5451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bitcoin SV going to crash? on: June 14, 2019, 09:26:25 AM
i think bitcoin cash satochi vision will no longer be useful in the next couple of year they will diseaper after all investors realize that the real bitcoin is simply bitcoin btc good luck for all hodlers !
I guess that would really happen in the future, this coin is still lucky now because of the hype after the FUD but it's price is not build in organic growth and lots of doubts on the people here. If they can easily be shaken when Binance CEO delisted it, that means its supporters are not that strong, and there could be bigger unfavorable news in the future that would shake the price again and I'm afraid they won't recover anymore.
5452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2019 be the year of Altcoins ? on: June 14, 2019, 09:11:12 AM
It's possible, but until now bitcoin has dominated more price increases than altcoins, but there are good altcoins and have a bright future whose prices are rising rapidly, namely Litecoin

Thats nornal bro .  bitcoin is automatically consider as the highest gainer in every single year because btc value is pretty high when compare to other coins (altcoins )  .

what the op means here is that if the year 2019 will be a good year for altcoins to experience a price recovery or an increase  and id say that yes it is  . since we start the year 2019 ive been seeing lots of positive signs ( signs if growth for alts )  up until now  .  so i believe that they will end the year with a better prices compare to last year  .

Indeed! btc has to be the biggest gainer for now because, let's face it; btc still has the highest traction amongst cryptos and the whales are more interested in it than any other coin atm. And truly, 2019 has been a good year (at least better than last) for alts in general and we've seen the emergence of some promising coins too being backed by relevant use cases. The future of cryptos seem very bright from my POV.

Agree, the future is bright for crypto as we are seeing legit coins are growing especially the major ones.
Bitcoin will remain the most invested coin in the market, but not the most profitable, altcoins are somehow more profitable but we might not noticed it since they have lower volume compared to bitcoin.

Though there are some saying that a certain altcoin will overtake bitcoin in the long run, I underestimated that possibility as bitcoin dominance is very high and with people supporting it, it's impossible it will be replace by any altcoins, however, we can expect a growth of altcoins so let's choose the best one based on our analysis and prediction.
5453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange KuCoin and KuCoin shares on: June 14, 2019, 08:54:29 AM
Kucoin needs more marketing and promos if it wants to take over Binance in a fast way. Maintaining an excellent support and user interface is the best way though.
why should you hurry. KCS has the same opportunity as the BNB. their exchanges are also equally big. maybe because binance has more trades and not all projects are easily listed there that makes binance have a better name than KUCOIN. but I think KCS has a great opportunity to be able to compete with other exchange coins. because maybe soon there will be BYX and KBX will also enliven exchange coins on the global market.
Investors always in a hurry as we are all after of a profit, it's pretty ambitious to take over Binance in the market and I don't think it will happen soon.
Kucoin has a potential to grow but to overtake Binance, that would only happen if Binance reputation will be destroyed so people will look for another alternative.
5454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Financial Projects on: June 14, 2019, 05:44:18 AM
I don't know and I don't want to recommend as I don't want to be bias, but I'm sure it's not gonna be a stable coin.
The new coin in the market now that are having early success are those coming from IEO especially in Binance, perhaps we should check their potential and invest on them early, they might enjoy some great profit as this season of crypto is gonna be bullish and it would stay here for long.
5455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why DEX (Decentralized Exchange) still unpopular? on: June 14, 2019, 05:37:21 AM
Decentralized exchange works as a escrow on peer to peer trade. So inspite of double conversion, it would better let users put any pair on exchange and do it when matched. For fees, users should have a exchange specific token on their wallet which would be deducted on matching.
Currenty the Decentralized exchanges are doing multiple conversion to make a simple trade happen.
they follow technological developments and market desires. because the market considers the decentralization exchange to be easier and more convenient to use, therefore the more people do trade there, it makes a number of new decentralized exchanges also be created.
More convenient but in terms of security, it's not secured as centralized exchange.
I mean, based on my experience using decentralized exchange where you have to put your private key to trade, I thin that step alone is very risky.

I like to try a new style for decentralized exchange which we can created username and password and I just don't know if its possible.

I also don't want to over think things, the fact that less people are using it now, that says they are not safe to use.
Compared to the volume of centralized exchange, the volume for decentralized exchange is just 1 to 2 percent.
5456  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 14, 2019, 05:10:06 AM
I hope Durant and Klay will be back next season healthy.

Klay Thompson should be just fine ahead of next season. As for Durant he's said to be sitting at least all regular season out, and most probably would be out of the post season too. He's supposedly going to be out for around 12 months after going through a successful surgery.

Hopefully his injury would not lead to an early retirement, that was a serious one and we pray for Durant's speedy recovery.
Warriors would have win this game if Klay was not injured but that's the faith of the Warriors this season, no 3-peat, but Raptors are making history.
5457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IXT] InsureX - blockchain-secured marketplace for Insurance on: June 14, 2019, 05:01:28 AM
Maybe even come to life, we'll see

No chance for now, maybe the next bull run, this will be alive.

Project like this that is not in a big exchange has no chance if the market is not yet fully bullish, you hold if you believe and if not, just forget you are holding something. I have a lot of tokens similar to the situation of IXT now, I just calm down as I understand it's not time yet.
5458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Chinese Crypto Trader Committed Suicide ( lesson for all crypto traders ) on: June 13, 2019, 11:45:12 AM
Trading is pretty similar with gambling, if you put a lot of money, you should ensure you can afford to lose it, otherwise, this unfortunate thing will happen to you. Money is still the root cause here, and if this person is not greedy, he could accept his mistake and just move on although it's not that easy to do considering the amount of money he lose.
5459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trader don't speculate? on: June 13, 2019, 11:27:00 AM
if not speculating is not a reliable trader, because speculation is very closely related to reliable traders.
and actually speculation is also the one that produces a lot of profits in trade.
without speculation the traders will not become rich  Cheesy
Speculation is the job of every trader using TA, so i think we need to continue speculate because the market wont stop and stay on one price. Speculation can make us rich, and yeah don’t think speculation is bad you just have to do it in the right way. Its a part of the market, trader knows it and I have to start speculating now.
well, without speculation, a trader might lose direction. other than that, I think speculation has been embedded in traders because it needs to be done to predict the direction of prices to be taken. it can reduce risk. trading without speculating I think it's very bad.
That's true, agree. Traders has to be flexible, they cannot just based on fixed strategy as there are a lot of factors involving in the market movement, and we all know that speculation is one big factor that could move the market. As a trader, you need to know what the other traders are thinking, especially most traders as they would likely cause to move the price, what's the speculation in the market now, and then you can make a strategy out of it.

It's not only pure TA or whatsoever, speculation is a big factor that needs to be consider all the time.
5460  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: June 13, 2019, 10:47:25 AM
Do not make cryptocurrency the only hope for survival. Do not give up work for cryptocurrency. Only 1% become successful traders, no need to pin hopes on it.
That is unbelievable, if you can give me some information to back your statement, maybe I would believe, but 1% is just too low, trading is not gambling, so definitely we have more successful traders here, maybe not the majority but I'm sure it's over 1%.
