5461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Mega Breakout - 56 billion dollars in a few hours !! on: October 26, 2019, 03:58:00 AM
1. No idea

2. Because they follow BTC, and then there is some fomo.

3. Bakkt recorded highest volume.

China president appreciated blockchain technology, may be that was the cause.
5462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you waste your time for 5 cents worth of bitcoin? on: October 26, 2019, 03:47:27 AM
Probably not, it doesn't seem worth time, but if there is script for the same, I would use.
5463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Ethereum-based gambling sites? on: October 25, 2019, 02:38:37 AM
If you want performance and cost efficient casino, you better forget ethereum, you will be paying 10-20c per transfer, they can quickly pile up and you would be losing unnecessary money.

5464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to restrain yourself at a small loss and not spend money. on: October 25, 2019, 02:31:28 AM
This had been discussed here so many times, but here is my honest opinion.
Because of this, greed and they should have this self-discipline. Gambling is not a kind of chasing money nor a sort of source of income. It is a game that someone looking themselves to entertain while alone. There's nothing difficult if you apply in your self how self-discipline works and know your limit on how much you are going to spend in gambling.

Quite right, but most of people who gamble, do that to earn money. Every gambler should self realize the reason why they gamble, if answer is to earn money they should leave it asap.
5465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: October 24, 2019, 02:40:17 AM

Soon we will announce a listing on Bitforex. The delay is associated with the airdrop for all Bitforex active traders and the preparation of special contests for them.
At the moment, we are working with the Bitforex management team and it is not as fast as we would like to be.

Support Team @ Digital Gold

It is true that tokens that will be listed on Bitfrorex are always airdrop and trading contests. I am sure that Biforex is the best way to introduce GOLD tokens to traders to get closer, I appreciate the delay, and this is a good decision.

For a project that relies on its (heavily circlejerked) credibility, the massively (99%) washtrading shit exchange Bitforex is a strange choice.
It's like selling a Lambo at Joe's Used Car Lot.

I find this project legit, however I do agree those spammers circlejerking, is getting very annoying lately.

And guess what, most of them are wearing cryptotalk signature.

5466  Local / India / Re: Banking solution for Indian crypto users by Cashaa on: October 23, 2019, 03:02:40 AM
Cashaa has surely taken interest of Indian crypto community, I can't wait to see how this one folds out.
5467  Local / India / Re: What's you view on the court case ongoing in Supreme Court-Positive or Negative? on: October 23, 2019, 02:49:55 AM
So it again got postponed. Why they aren't willing to even hear the case? I'm not being negative now and am absolutely clueless whether they want to ban it or not. Sad thing is that our Government has strong views when it comes to politics and nothing else and due to this so many exchanges went bankrupt inspite of following all legal norms.

The postponement of the date could be because of holidays.

What's exciting is this : "..many countries were cautioning on rushing into this; - Sitharaman

Despite the negative pressure from the govt. they haven't outrightly said its something that is entirely a bad thing or banned for non-commercial use. They revolve around the word caution. Sooner or later they would have to realize that their caution to the public of the virtual money being used for terrorism or to invade consumer privacy is pure bullshit that the average person can see right through. It is then when they will have to shift their narrative.

Which holidays were on oct 15? They could have heard the case on specified the date and given a new one.

What happened was they keep delaying, which also gives more time to RBI then whatever was specified.

Our nation needs to be punctual.

Regarding, use of crypto in terrorism, it might not be a 'pure bullshit' it does get used for illegal purposes but guess what crypto's use for illegal activities is much lesser than cash.

5468  Local / India / Re: Many countries have cautioned on rushing into crypto currencies, says Sitharaman on: October 23, 2019, 02:46:35 AM
India needs youngsters on these positions, who understands new technologies and are open to it.

Wish they would regulate the crypto in India, aside from creating jobs, government will get tax, that can be used for betterment of country.

But alas.
5469  Other / Meta / Re: Signature Campaigns causing lifeless posts in Gambling section on: October 22, 2019, 03:02:49 AM
..and to think that user is senior member with good merit and activity, has he lost his mind  ??

The irony of participants applying voluntarily for the campaign after reading all the details and then being "forced" to post in a certain board or comment on topics that he/she is not familiar with  Cheesy It may be the money that is forcing participants and not the campaign.

Campaign is giving money so in sense it's campaign Grin

~
The only way to address this problem is to put pressure on campaign managers to not require posts in specific sections.

Or may be give preference to quality.
5470  Economy / Reputation / Re: Did I spam? Report me right now. #RMRN #RaiseYourVoice on: October 22, 2019, 02:58:50 AM
If users think that your post(s) were spam then you would get reported and you will also get a message that your post was deleted, you can examine it to improve your posting.

No need for this dare, imo.
5471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: October 21, 2019, 02:21:18 AM
Some people learn slowly, for example, consider me, when I was introduced to BTC in late 2014 I was thinking that it was illegal to use BTC, however as time passed I learned more and am quite enlightened right now lol
5472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for the World and Community on: October 21, 2019, 02:18:48 AM
When everyone's self interests are aligned in a way that helps in betterment of world, it automatically becomes better.

I find nothing wrong with self-interest.

Miners mine blocks, although for their own sake, ie. mining rewards but that's what keeps the Bitcoin network running.
5473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Factors that lead to MB8 coins success on: October 19, 2019, 01:46:20 PM
This seems like a shill but if you are serious about it, sell that coin right now, your coin 99% won't reach $1 or even near it.
5474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your crypto before death? on: October 19, 2019, 01:44:47 PM
Tell your loved ones your private key, and if it's a natural death (except heart attack) you should have plenty time to let your loved ones know about your crypto.
5475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do Investors always turn to reduce or deny bounty hunters their payments on: October 19, 2019, 01:43:17 PM
We can't really do much when that phrase is wrote in guidelines, if you don't like that, don't join that particular bounty.
5476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott ICO's ? on: October 19, 2019, 01:41:17 PM
Yes but only garbage ICOs, bounty hunters should be extra cautious on choosing bounty, most of them just go with whatever they see on the first page. Don't get lured by that '$1M in Bounty' or whatever, that is to mislead you. Check project's team profile, previous works, community, what problems project is trying to tackle, etc.

Very pretty! First one looks marvellous!
5478  Local / India / Re: What's you view on the court case ongoing in Supreme Court-Positive or Negative? on: October 18, 2019, 03:38:01 AM
I guess that draft bill will be debated in winter session, this can overrule the court decision so this case may never get it's hearing.
5479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: October 16, 2019, 04:09:59 AM
Sorry! Double post. Will delete it after 24 hrs.

I don't think it's possible that Bullionstar is a company with tight security, and I also have never heard that bullionstar is hacked, bullionstar is a physical gold storage area so it is not possible to hack through computers or have their data deleted.

I think this token will still be in the future if physical gold is still at bullionstar.

Thanks this makes sense, but still assume if there is robbery, then? Lol

Another question (probably stupid), do you get charged holding fee for holding gold token on decentralized exchange (like forkdelta)?
5480  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Quote Notifier | push notifications on: October 16, 2019, 03:44:44 AM
It does not seem to work with nested quotes (for example, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5192560.msg52765744#msg52765744).

Please correct if wrong.
