5461  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way for Hodlers to sell their BTC's at new ATH's? on: November 25, 2020, 03:51:40 AM
Now imagine someone just got lucky maybe with trading and accumulated such an amount of BTC but is unable to prove his source of wealth or bitcoins. The trader's bitcoins could get locked up for nothing.
Well make sense then the only way to sell those are into dex. People like these are very much often nowadays and I am referring to scammers. OP valid point of arguement is quite interesting. No one in their right mind to sell of a bulk bitcoin on an ATH on a centralized exchange unless they can confidently defend why they have that kind of money on their wallet. However, it is his right not to disclosed any more information should he tell he won on a lucky trade or get a prize on a raffle? It's all about being consistent. If the HODLer has no alleged claimed of fund coming from a scam why would you get scared.
5462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks above $19,000 on: November 25, 2020, 02:59:25 AM
Bitcoin breaks above $19,000 and approaches record highs as cryptocurrency frenzy continues
It did just break but of course the phase is too fast expect some retracement cause definitely this is a sell pressure for most holders who bought at a very early stage. But expect some new comers also who probably will fomo. Those top coins are on the move on the last few days regarding some upcoming event of them, so only bitcoin is naturally and organically moving here. I'll be on standby cause if a dip comes after this, time to do some buy backs and opportunity for a cheaper price.
5463  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best trusted solid exchangers I will nominate them on: November 24, 2020, 05:34:28 AM
Im telling you if poloniex and kraken goes down the all cryptocurrency will go down!!
So until I see polo and kraken good we are all good

So you are telling that if these two go down, all the market will suffer? Maybe yes but that would be for the meantime. Never used these two exchange yet actually ao I'm not sure how good these are. But I'm a full time Binance trader and user. So I know how devoted CZ in developing more services and feature binance can offer. What sucks are their down time but that can be fixed given that the traffic is huge. Let expect some not a 100% efficiency. But so far they have one of the best volume that those two you mentioned.
5464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC and KYC correlation with ICO on: November 24, 2020, 04:00:08 AM
I was reading an article of recent, the author was explaining Anti money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC).

I see these two concept to be very key metrics in DAPP and Cryptocurrency.

Here is what I want us to discuss.

What are the relationship between AML, KYC and ICO

Usually ICO do this. Legit projects tend to ask for KYC to avoid such funds coming from hacked and scam activity. This will ensure that no investors on the project has been flagged for an illegal activity. Also scammers will definitely afraid to expose their identity if the funds they have came from doing a malicious scam project.

Too bad this method has been done by a lot of them to acquire information which they will be used to cover up their track what worse is the one got victim are the innocent for identity theft.
5465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just a wish for small projects on: November 23, 2020, 07:33:20 AM
They deserve a place in this space too, I do wish there will come a new crowdfunding solution that any small projects can afford easily, what do you think?
Thats why IEO on big exchange is competitive. They make a very hard requirements in order to participate with the event. Smaller projects can always bet an ICO, which is now I think easier to do using a modified smart contract. Even shitcoins can raised 100 to 500 eth within simple grasp like this.

Its not about the platform for crowdfunding but the project potential. If the project is really good wherever the place conducted it will always be sold out.
5466  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] YFIB (DeFi) - Copied Website on: November 23, 2020, 05:35:56 AM
Ignoring your messages means they don't have any plans to response or explain anything about your accusation. It just justified that they are guilty of the exposed information and since the account is newbie he doesn't seem to care at all.

But its good that you informed us about this. Regarding copy cat projects, there are more there doing these things and not using bitcointalk forum.

When the flag is activated will definitely supported it.
5467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shadow of Destruction over Bitcoin on: November 23, 2020, 03:05:31 AM
That's how a very famous and known bitcoin survive this long. More and more people got interested in the long run. I know there are times bitcoin is so down and no one noticing and claiming it as scam investment. But here they are again fomoing to the hype of bull run. So when this go down again they will always have something to say and it's normal cause people always depend on the result of the investment they made especially if the output is bad one.

Bitcoin ATH is close and if this break this will marked a new history for blockchain again. So hang tight, who knows when this will hit.
5468  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unpopular Opinions About Bitcoin on: November 23, 2020, 02:46:03 AM
I didn't find his tone to be against bitcoin. When he says that Bitcoin will struggle to fully scale an entire economy, I wouldn't consider that FUD. The underlying network is unfortunately limited, and millions of users would struggle using the network on a daily basis.
But if you did think of his statement and consider his personality( known to many) then you could say he is already saying a fud in a very subtle way. But that would be the initial impression of media hypers. But if you think carefully what he meant. Somehow I agree, we can't utilized bitcoin as currency since its value is unstable and fluctuate easily. How come community can be able to use it efficiently? Much suited to be an investment asset if you think of it. But some are keeping bitcoin on more adoption since countries developing use cases for it. Maybe someday we could achieve this? Though not really sure.
5469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to find current crypto Airdrops? on: November 22, 2020, 01:39:59 PM
Which is why I'm on the hunt of new Airdrops in the crypto/Blockchain space. Any suggestions or recommendations will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
Hi mate if literally free money on airdrop I think you gonna have to join AMA deals instead. Its hard to find a place for airdrop nowadays that literally can monetize these tokens. I knew some before but it seems they are not worth it anymore. I suggest instead of airdrop participate on AMAs cause its more good and more interesting. You just need to have a question and prepare it during some events and when you win you will win instant usd or tokens with value already.

Not discouraging you with airdrops but giving you an alternative that simply works like a drop with much more exciting way to get tokens.
5470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A fund to help stores offer discounts on: November 22, 2020, 08:10:49 AM
Such a fund could encourage producers to accept bitcoin AND encourage consumers to use bitcoin.
This is depends on user's perspective. Some might spend bitcoin but some users are investment wise and will definitely hold it and used other crypto then pay for the product. Unless the 10% difference would make a better call than paying using fiat.

If I bought it with a regular price using fiat, and the amount or the value of bitcoin that I will release including the 10% is more expensive then I guess I just sell my btc for fiat and avail it without any discount cause it would be the same.
5471  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I increase my Newbie rank? on: November 22, 2020, 07:37:51 AM
This is my first time in cryptocurrency And I don't know much about it and And you need the help of friends. I have seen here People have different Ranks And mine is doing a Newbie show in it. So how can I increase it? Please help me with this. Thank you
Its a good start. But since you are still unfamiliar with cryptocurrency, you must maximize the resources you can find online or do a due diligence first what is this all about. There are lots of things need to study, from wallet, blockchain, transactions and many more.

If your concern is learning you can do it here as well and don't simply focus on rank differences. Yes there are perks of being high rank like posting colored photos, or joining signature campaign but this is not real usage of an account. Anyway goodluck to your journey.
5472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to transfer BEP20 token to KAVA network on: November 21, 2020, 12:46:52 PM
Hi there!
thanks for trying to help first of all
I've got a wallet with some HARD coins on BEP20 blockchain wallet,
how can I transfer them to KAVA network address?
when I try to send to an address that starts with "kava" it says it's invalid address,
please help it's urgent!

Hello is this on Binance exchange? I assume you are storing it on trust wallet right since I never knew bep supported wallet aside from trust.

What you can do is send your hard tokens to binance. After that. You can convert your tokens from bep supported to kava network blockchain. See image.

The image shows deposit. I cant show you the withdrawal since I don't have hard tokens so it wouldnt show. But its this image is the same with withdrawal anyway.

Once it's done. You can freely send it to any kava supported wallet.
5473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season probably won't happen like the past? on: November 21, 2020, 11:33:38 AM
Is there a possibility that only bitcoin will remain bullish this year? Can altcoin season be left out? The reason why I'm asking is some are already doubting, what if only very few altcoins grows higher in value and things failed to go the same way as that of 2017? What's your answer?
Ofcourse not. Just wait for the bitcoin dominance to go down and altcoins will explode too. That's what I observed last time. Also bitcoin will be the first to rise and will be followed with a parabolic movement of altcoin projects. But of course these altcoins are those major ones and potential one. Dont include here those scam shitcoins cause their growth is mainly due to hype and promotional shilling.
5474  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will I loose merit if I delete particular post? on: November 21, 2020, 08:52:31 AM
Im not sure about this that if I delete my any post which was given merit, will I lose merit too?
Nope. Merits earned from posted topics or response will not degrade your merits earned. So don't worry it will stay with your record.

Of course you can. I am unpleasantly surprised that you somehow managed to miss "delete" option in the top right corner of your posts

Im sure what he meant mate is his own created topic post. If that's what his talking about then his definitely right. Response topic can be deleted but own can't unless you change the content to something like Mod please delete and request to delete it. Or there is a board that allows us to delete our own post?

Own topic can't be deleted except for mods whom can delete it if the content is off topic or spam post.

5475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Fiat and more Digital Cash spending. on: November 21, 2020, 07:59:54 AM
Visa expects more people to pay in the future using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, which has soared in value this year and back almost to it's old all time high as more financial institutions and investors buy bitcoin, I believe that there will be less Fiat spending and more digital currency spending in future, what do you think?
With bitcoin current price? I don't think people would want to spend their bitcoin on a natural spending and maybe more into holding it instead. It's price fluctuation is so fast and dont expect many will considered it using for payment. They will treat that as a good investment and aim holding it.

In my opinion its gonna be better to used other set of cryptocurrency with less fee on digital spending like xrp, dogecoin instead these bitcoin or eth.
5476  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM ALERT] surveyuniswap.org asking for seed phrase or private key on: November 21, 2020, 07:08:37 AM
Damn has anyone who would fall with this? Give your private key and address. It's like letting you scam from face to face. Problem here are those newbies that don't know the importance of keeping the private key on his own. There are some instances when I was a newbie airdrops asking for this and since a lot are not familiar that when your Pk has been public that anyone can open it already they are just keep filling up form.

Its okay if they are giving a zero wallet but what if it has funds? Then sorry you will be drained by them. Thanks OP for sharing. This is a basic style of scamming but still would be notified members that it's a scam.
5477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another person losses $20k to Fake Uniswap on Google Play on: November 21, 2020, 03:21:03 AM
It is a big loss!
Why don't people understand that there is only one UNISWAP and everything else is fake.
An app for dex is good. But having own mobile version when a dapp like uniswap can be imported to third party app like trust wallet already proficient enough to use it. Let say the idea of having an own app is accessible, still what happened is purely fault of the victim. He should have been doing some diligence if the app is really created by the Uniswap team.

The user should take Google to court and demand a compensation from them.

I have already reported and the app is still live in Play store.

This isn't the first one that a scam or fake app victimized people. I couldn't say Google should be liable but they should be restricting of have a tight screening for the app developers that wanted to use their service to avoid this kind of scenario.
5478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] 2020, your last chance of owning 1 BTC on: November 20, 2020, 10:51:28 AM
As 2020 comes to an end, were you able to treat yourselves with 1 full bitcoin?
If you like explain to others how have you reached this threshold: also, if you feel like sharing it, tell us why you were not able to do that.

Before 2020 ends. I think I could attained worth 1 btc almost but I'm still accumulating from trading and my some perks on signature. Can't say I can't make it but I have attained it if I didn't spend any and converted into fiat. But that's okay I think still be able to catch before it ends.

Right now I'm holdinh different alts but also waiting for the right time to convert into btc I believe this has still dip and can still grab chance to get some.

Having 1 btc for hold is a good investment in the long run and I think it can worth more than its ATH since last bull run.
5479  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I suspect that KittieFIGHT is scam on: November 20, 2020, 09:04:19 AM
Here is proof that the admin cleans the chat from messages about swap
Here is my correspondence with the founder of bountyhive, who claims that KittieFIGHT did not pay them for bounty managment in 2019
I have no idea what other evidence I can provide if I am simply ignored. Sent mail kittieFight@protonmail.com yesterday, no response yet.

Actually their action towards bounty is unacceptable. But I heard a lot of hunters creating fud over this is not good on the project stance. Maybe the thing here is they were able to raise funds from investors and those guys are still waiting in vain. Including me, of course. But the latest news is they will start distribution on the end of this month. If this will pursue, then we can see the possibility of going back on the issues of bounty payment.
5480  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How much prison time could Changpeng Zhao (CZ) be looking at? on: November 20, 2020, 08:04:25 AM
I do not think that he will stay in prison for a long time, I do not know if his country will hand him over to be tried in the United States.
Thats next to impossible. CZ is a big player on crypto industry and we all knew that its gonna be tons of big people before a guy like him can be apprehended and go to jail.

I like the article it shows that there are really dark moments on every famous personality. Well Im not favor with what happened even I'm a Binance trader. I like his platform but if this issue has been proven then necessary measure should be apply. But with a rich guy like him this is probably not an issue for him and their team.
