5461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 31, 2019, 02:10:42 PM
They are not the first people to actually use the "Point Center" thing in basketball but Jokic is great with passing so people just focus on that.

If you are age allows it when the "triangle" was a success in Lakers Shaq-Kobe era, Shaq had insane vision, he was able to pass to people better than some of the point guards at the time, I know he didn't had the stats that Jokic had when it comes to assists and never broke over 4 assists a game on average but he was super powerful inside and could score at will if not was fouled most of the time so he didn't had to pass most of the time or even had the chance, but when he did dude was a prolific passer as well, remember Lakers convinced Shaq to join by saying they would allow him to playmake with the triangle system as well.
5462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dutch gambling authority fines 10 companies a total of €3.5m this year on: December 31, 2019, 11:28:30 AM
There is really no reason to have gambling operations in Netherlands at all. I mean they have always been very very strict about their gambling policy, worst in any country I know and they have been actively punishing all companies that allow Duth people to gamble as well. Hell they went as far as actually banning loot boxes in computer games, you can't even play NBA2K properly if you are from Netherlands for example because they do not allow the card opening thing (same goes for Fifa I think), when a nation bans games to sell loot boxes you know you are not welcomed there as a casino at all.

There are hundreds of other nations and probably 20 very big nations that basically turns a blind eye to it, just focus on them and don't operate in Netherlands at all. Simple solution.
5463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers Just Had A Field Day on Nuls. $480k Worth Token Stolen on: December 31, 2019, 10:17:24 AM
Hackers will always find a way to hack exchanges, I mean we are talking about hackers here, that is what their job is and it is impossible to stop them, you can only hope they get away with as little as possible.

Even binance lost millions of dollars since it started due to hackers and we are now used to it, hell binance just paid from their pockets and moved on because that was easier. We just have to let hackers be hackers and steal money if they can and not focus on that, if we keep focusing on that all we can do is improve the laws against hacking (which they don't care) and improve the security to websites (which they will work harder and still hack) all of which is useless against a dedicated talented hacker. This wasn't the first time a hacker stole money and it won't be the last.
5464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Justin Sun dump 33 billion TRX on New Year's Day? on: December 31, 2019, 08:47:42 AM
First of all I didn't know Justin Sun had half of all Trons in the world, right now there is about 66 billion trons available and if he owns 33 billion of that, it means tron is faaaar faaar less decentralized than I assumed, dude could do whatever he wants to price of tron with that type of wealth.

However assuming it is true, if he actually goes up and sells 33 billion of it, he would crash the price which we all know but how much he would crush is not clear. Right now the whole volume is around 1 billion, and that is 500 bought and 500 sold, if he sells 33 billion that would first be faced with regular prices which he would make the most profit from but then it would go down as little as 10 satoshis and even lower, in which case Tron is as good as dead.
5465  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who is fooling around with btc Price? on: December 30, 2019, 04:08:10 PM
Bitcoin is an unregulated market, if anyone is fooling around with bitcoin price we would have absolutely no idea who that is and we have absolutely no idea IF anyone is fooling around with it. There is no system that shows someone buying millions of dollars worth of bitcoin or selling it, this is not stock market.

Normally, in stock market or forex world there is "accounts" that show who does exactly what and if you end up buying 10% of all stocks from a company everyone knows about it because it is public knowledge, in bitcoin you can end up buying 50 billion dollars worth of bitcoin and still keep it a secret if you want to without anyone ever hearing about it (the hidden part could cause it to take some time). That is why we can never know the answer to this question, we can just speculate.
5466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ponzi scheme and Bitcoin on: December 30, 2019, 03:38:44 PM
Ponzi and bitcoin has ALWAYS been hand in hand, there is no worry about ponzi somehow destroying bitcoin because we have seen ponzi schemes as early as 2013 if I am not wrong, definitely could be one beforehand as well but the earliest I remember was 2013.

The biggest back in the day I remember was a cloud mining company, I zenhash or something if I am not wrong because those guys sold hashes to people and people bought it and it was super profitable for everyone involved and in the end it turned out they were just paying from the money they were getting and eventually they had to stop since they couldn't sustain it (no ponzi can). So in 2020, we will see a lot of ponzi, we will see a lot of bad people stealing bitcoins and selling them, none of that will affect the prize at all.
5467  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there formula for bitcoin price ? on: December 30, 2019, 03:03:52 PM
There is one that people keep forgetting that is definitely not deciding bitcoins price but at least gives us a ball park of what could be the calculation for "SOME" people. Which is how much is a cost of bitcoin when mined.

Even the most advanced and amazing machines have a slight profit right now at around 6 thousand dollars cost, that is why right now not all miners are making money, the old generation machines are making a loss and the new and advanced ones are barely making any profit, which shows people with thousands of machines do make a decent income because it is all combined but the people with few coins do not make that much money at all. That is the "cost" of bitcoin tho, not the "price" of bitcoin which are totally different things but at least it is a formula that can be used for certain people.
5468  Economy / Economics / Re: UNICEF Will Give Out Bitcoin Grants via Henrietta Fore's Cryptocurrency Fund on: December 29, 2019, 03:47:39 PM
Well, it could be really good for them to actually utilize the money they get instead of destroying its value that brings in.
Crypto is donated, so why change it to something else when the whole donation is based on crypto? If crypto is donated then crypto shall be used, that is how I see it. With this new fund they will be capable of using their crypto the way it was intended to be used, intact and not sold to fiat like it is some sort of investment to them, which is not, it is a donation not an investment.

Also, helping out the less fortunate with crypto could bring in more news about both crypto and UNICEF as well, this way they can get their name heard more in the crypto world as a charity that takes crypto and gives crypto which could increase crypto donations to them, and crypto will be heard by people who never heard it before as well.
5469  Economy / Economics / Re: New bill would make Facebook’s cryptocurrency a security under the law on: December 29, 2019, 01:33:52 PM
This is both amazing for us but also very terrifying as well. With this bill there is a chance facebook actually publishes Libra but it also means that there will be a lot of regulations and a lot of eyes on Libra and facebook will be carefully audited as well and whoever owns Libra will be notified to government as well. So there is absolutely no data that will be hidden from USA government and I am not 100% sure people would like that.

There will be a lot of people who won't mind it, hell facebook is known for getting breached and all data lost yet millions of people still use it so of course there would be people who use Libra even if that means every single cent you spent will be watched like a hawk by million different entities but is that what we really imagined when we first heard about Libra?
5470  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How do you avoid high withdrawal fees from exchanges? on: December 29, 2019, 07:07:44 AM
There is usually no way of avoiding it, I mean you can use altcoins but in the end you will need to turn that into fiat and from altcoin to fiat is not really that possible anymore.

I really want to use ethereum for example but the place I work with have some sort of horrible policy where if the money comes from a erc20 wallet like mew or metamask then they don't put it on your tab and it took me weeks last time that happened which is why I can't use ethereum, I am looking into litecoin for example or nowadays wave but I can't really turn them into fiat that easily since volume is very very low in the exchange I use. Basically, market kinda forces you to use bitcoin after a while, it is still the most expensive way to do it but also easiest there is as well.
5471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs ETH Vs XRP Vs LTC which one will you invest and why in 2020? on: December 29, 2019, 12:33:18 AM
First of all I would like to start by saying "F xrp" because that coin is worthless and should be less than 1 satoshi per xrp, Ripple the company scams people with their centralized horrible system but people eat it up like the idiots they are, anyone who has even 1 xrp is an idiot.

On the other hand Bitcoin is the biggest coin and is improving very very slowly and it is not really that awesome right now but that doesn't change the fact that bitcoin IS the biggest one, ethereum is just second and it is trying to improve, it works to pass bitcoin one day with all the better improvements, it is struggling but it is working towards that. Litecoin is just bitcoins testnet, whatever bitcoin aims at doing, it works on litecoin first and if it is a good idea then bitcoin starts to work on it as well.
5472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: handling bitcoin volatility on: December 28, 2019, 11:45:41 PM
When you are in bitcoin for day trading you realize that those volatility are not as frequent as people talk about, sure there are few hundred dollars moves here and there but those big thousands of dollars worth of movements are more rare than everyone has been talking about. Those happen once a month maybe on average, sometimes for months the price is around the same price and then for a week it does some weird movements.

If you are not around for those huge movements and out, you will not have to worry about the volatility at all, if you are around and hurt by it, know that whatever direction happened that hurt you, the opposite will eventually happen as well, maybe it will take time but it will happen. So, volatility is not that difficult to handle if you are lucky or patient.
5473  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto Exchange with the smallest credit card fee on: December 28, 2019, 06:35:08 PM
If I would like to buy btc on a credible exchange with my credit card (visa, mastercard..), which one would you suggest? so many different fees that is hard to calculate everything. Is there any stats which one would be the best option?
It also depends on where you are from, you can't use credit card to buy from any website you want depending on your nation. If you are american, best place to deal with is definitely coinbase, if you are from Europe bitpanda helps out best, if you are in Asia there are now Singapore based binance operations that started recently.

It all depends on where you are from, surely there must be some local exchanges (doesn't have to be too local but at least close) that could help you out but when it comes to credit card purchasing of bitcoin I would say being able to use it is more important than the fee involved with it. You are already buying bitcoin with money you don't have (credit card) instead of using money you have on your debit or bank account, so the fee shouldn't be much of a problem.
5474  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.2 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: December 28, 2019, 04:38:51 PM
there is another wagering contest on the way
Christmas is over but not the fun
The competition can't be considered Christmas related at all, it is literally the same thing they did for months now and they are doing it again, they did it right before Christmas and they did it right after Christmas and they expect us to believe that is what they are offering as a gift to people who are here on Christmas?

I doubt that's fair, sure it is their own way and sure they are entitled to do whatever they want but I am also entitled to think that windice is being greedy about Christmas when they are giving away so much money to people who can afford to wager 10+ bitcoins while not sharing it with the poor folk. They can keep the 0.02 prize pool (lol what a pool) they are sharing between people, I am not interested in getting 100 satoshi to say good things about them.
5475  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: December 28, 2019, 04:01:46 PM
Wolves vs Man City tonight, wouldn't surprise me if City drop points again here. It’s a hopeless task trying to keep pace with Klopp’s Liverpool team this year.

I had a feeling about this tonight. I thought it might be a draw though, Man City are just throwing their title away, it’s crazy. They’re not even making it hard for Liverpool. They need to sign some players in January & really fight hard for the CL otherwise this season is a disaster for them.

I didn't expect them to lose the game, they suffered 2 goals in just under 10 minutes. The second goal that the Wolves scored was the Man City defender failure to protect the ball well (it was an unacceptable failure) And about the third goal that the Wolves scored, I just have to say the following: it was an amazing goal
I honestly believe wolves deserved it %100 , that VAR call on penalty was BS and the defenders were too late to react on the second time with a fear of getting it done another time so they stayed back a bit, 2 penalties saved back to back from the goalkeeper, plus if Ederson didn't do what he did right on 12th minute, that would have been a goal as well very easily, he literally kicked the guy while mid air, all he had to do was move his leg a couple inch to the side.

Wolves gladfully won, it would have been horrible if city won the game they totally didn't deserve to win, sure their second goal was good but the first one was shady at best and adding Ederson deal that was horrible of city. By the way I am getting more fond of Traore every single match, dude is a beast, reminds of a better version of Hulk.
5476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 28, 2019, 03:26:20 PM
We are watching the best NBA in decades probably, I don't remember last time games were this good and this competitive and not top heavy. Yeah, bucks and Lakers (maybe not Lakers anymore) look like they are at the top right now but they can be challenged as well, just recently Dallas WITHOUT Doncic beat bucks, so right now it is anyone's game and it is no longer give the ball to superstar and let them isolate as well.

I mean last time I can think of was 2014 spurs (or was it 2015 when they got their revenge?) that carved up Miami and played amazing basketball but this feels much better offense and a lot more talents to go around the league as well. I can count seriously at least 8 teams that has a chance of becoming champions, I don't recall the last time that happened.
5477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons for traders to look at! on: December 27, 2019, 04:51:01 PM
I get that forex is kinda like crypto but also crypto is a lot like many things, it also looks a bit like stock market when you look at it in a certain way, it is a lot like commodities such as gold and silver in many ways, so it is right that if you look at forex traders and crypto traders there are a lot of common stuff and I am not disagreeing with that, however there are plenty of other stuff traders look like as well.

On that note, over confidence is not something you can fix by reading some article, if you are a snub person that thinks he knows everything there is to know and have that kind of mind set, you will eventually lose a lot of money, sure maybe that confidence came because you made a ton of profit once up to a time but eventually you will lose it all.
5478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why traders fail in Forex on: December 27, 2019, 03:34:53 PM
It’s no secret that Forex is a great business but also equally dangerous with many people struggling and ending up in wrong zone.

This is where https://www.liberatedstocktrader.com/why-traders-fail-in-online-forex-trading/ can be useful way to avoid making same mistakes that others have made or are making. Only then we will be able to find results that we dearly desire to get.
Plus, let's not forget that how strong an economy is depends on the politicians as well. For example if your president comes out and says something stupid and moronic (why is that more common these days) you will not be able to guess what happens to your fiat beforehand, and after he does that it is a free fall.

So, forex people have to follow up every single president and important politician and what they are saying? That is a bit challenging (even tho easier thanks to twitter nowadays) but it is still fair to remind people you are a human and can be late to react even if you follow news every single day. Long story short one mishap from one government could ruin all of your forex portfolio and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it neither.
5479  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong Kong protestors call for sanctions against HSBC bank on: December 26, 2019, 04:15:18 PM
I guess I kinda understand the "money laundering" charges against them, what were they suppose to say "we do not want you to have financial power" ? That is not going to happen, of course they will say something like money laundering, or any other crime really, doesn't matter what the made up crime they can throw at them the end result was to cut their financial aid and help so that protesters wouldn't have some sort of decent organization.

If you gather enough money and buy enough products then you can distribute it evenly among all protesters who need it, that is literally turning into a coup, so they just simply made up some reasons.

China has ALWAYS been bad, not just now but in its entire history since CCP started, they are not going to just let this one away, these are the same people who let 20+ million starve to death, that is more than most countries entire population, that is literally 3-4 European country combined, you think they will stop? Boycotting or sanctioning against HSBC will not make one single difference.
5480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Grayscale: XRP gaining momentum among financial Institutions on: December 26, 2019, 03:39:51 PM
Why are we tricking people by saying XRP? Lets be honest, this is good for Ripple not the coin, the company. Company has been doing these kinds of improvements and deals with other big institutions for years now and yes they are getting better and bigger and they just raised a lot of money so they are using it properly which is awesome for the shareholders of the company but when things come down to the coin holders, none of these will ever make a single difference to XRP holders.

Have you seen the 200 million dollars they just got from their seed round? Do you think they will use it to improve XRP to a level where coin holders will profit? Will they give out dividends? No on contrary they will have to sell more and more XRP by printing out of thin air to keep the shareholders happy.
