Nagelsmann seems like the biggest candidate for being Chelsea's permanent manager in the summer. Chelsea just chose to postpone their decision about this by bringing Lampard as caretaker. However, when I watch Chelsea today, I think whoever is the manager there will fail. They have made many transfers this season, but they still don't have a forward with a high finishing ability. Manchester City are literally unstoppable in the recent times. It is valid for the Premier League and Champions League both. Haaland's impact on this situation is very big as well of course. It is really sad that a player like Lionel Messi after joining the PSG team left the expensive leagues and currently only plays in Ligue 1. I think if Lionel Messi had joined any other club he would have had more opportunities and could have done great things in a better league.
Ligue 1 is not a low caste league. Messi is playing professionally so far. he's playing well with what he can bring to the team. I don't think other clubs are willing to pay dearly for Messi at his age. how bad is Messi's relationship with PSG and its fans? I think Messi will still play professionally for the rest of the season, if indeed in the summer Messi will leave PSG. hopefully, Messi gets the best place in European clubs. even if he has to return to his former club. Leo Messi is one of the greatest footballers to have ever graced the beautiful game of football and his number of trophies and personal accolades are just too staggering and the envy of many football greats. Roberto Firmino has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid team next season on a free transfer. Yahoo Sports posted an article about it. He should do fairly well in a team that doesn't rely so heavily on an out and out striker. Could get back to his scoring ways along with Real. This is still confusing even though there is indeed news about this but it is still not certain whether he will actually be in Madrid or not. But for other conditions I don't think that having Firmino at Madrid means they are in a better condition for attack because in this case only looking for options with other old players again for Benzema. Looking for younger and better players as even Firmino could still be an option but that will not provide an answer to Madrid's shortcomings in the long term. But when talking about the short term actually it can still be done especially for now Firmino can be brought on a free transfer there. For at least one season, I think Firmino can still be used while Madrid look for a young striker who can serve as a reference for them as a replacement for Benzema later. But if indeed this season they still do not find a successor to Benzema I think Firmino can also still be maximized because he is still one of the strikers who is quite smart in my opinion especially as a super sub he can always provide something differentiator at Liverpool. Tuchel success at Chelsea didn't have everything to do with his coaching skills instead the players were determined to win and they won games. If Thomas Tuchel was that good as we're all saying, why hasn't he replicated same wins with Bayern Munich or won the champion league with other top clubs that he has managed. Let take Real Madrid as an example, it doesn't matter which coach is present but they'll always do well in the champions league because it's a culture on the club. As for the game against Real Madrid, it was a disappointing loss and I'm still surprised we could play that badly against Real Madrid and I put all the blame on Frank Lampard. His selections were all wrong, we could have sealed the fate of that game in the first few minutes of the game as we were having chances after chances but didn't have anyone that could score in the team. The team lacked a striker and Chelsea need to resolved this crises by signing someone that'll be winning to play even though we don't get champions league football next season. I think if Kai Havertz would had started that game, we would had gotten something from that game. I haven't lost hope though, 2:0 isn't that hard of a result to comeback from to progress. Tuchel was certainly doing a better job compared to Graham Porter. I know he is not currently doing a fabulous job with his current team. But it has only been like two weeks with his new team.
