5481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How are you R9 Fury NANO ? Maybe I can help you. on: February 17, 2020, 05:14:37 PM
You can mine RYO i think, or maybe, ETH. Your GPUs are 4GB memory onboard, am I right? Use HiveOS and mine ETH. But the best way is to knock it over the door Wink

I'm sorry  to ask, but why every thread about questions of mining, people are recommending to mine RYO?
I see the calculator and the volume of trading, and it makes no sense for me

I have some friends that owned R9 Fury, and it was a beast at the time, they mined some ETH, but for today it´s hard to keep mining with this card, to much power draw, and we are at a moment that every watt counts
5482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 16, 2020, 01:35:29 PM
Some time ago they did a research in my country about the cash money
They found many substances, including feces, yes feces in the money we use on a daily basis.
Can you imagine picking that money, paying, and put your hands on your food?

So I think this is one of the reasons online payments are good
5483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH could reach $440 if bullish on: February 16, 2020, 12:58:52 PM
Ether is the most potential coin after bitcoin which has the capability to increase more than any other altcoin.
Ether has proved itself by increasing to a price of $1400 approximately in the last bull run in 2017.
I believe Ethereum has more to offer than bitcoin as a technical platform for cryptocurrencies.
In my perspective, there will be more number of supporters for Ethereum in future than for bitcoin.

We have to consider that in 2017 ETH had it price increased so hard due to ICOs that launched their projects on their network, and this year it's different
But in favor of ETH this time they have a more stable network, solid work doing, and the new improvement of algo is coming, there's nothing wrong and they can surf on the wave of BTC
I'm sure the only thing that will matter is the size of marketcap, BTC and ETH will do good this year
5484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins are good to mine at the moment on: February 16, 2020, 12:15:03 PM
I respect your opinion, but it's better to buy the coins directly if you´re going to bet, waiting to price rises
If you like some coin, you can mine the most profitable at the moment, and then buy the coin you want directly, this is more profitable
Mining coins when the market is in bearish phase and hope that price will skyrocket is something like the pain in the ass, Nothing more. Don't hope too much that price will skyrocket because in reality price might decrease to zero and you have to pay mining fees monthly.

Unless if you have a lot of rigs, in this case you can point some cards to mine unknown coins
It is a kind of very risky investment, from mining. Mining unknown coins contain more risks than opportunities. So if one miner does not have spare funds (from profits earn from crypto investment), he should not take risks like that. Anyway, your approach is one of good approach for risk-accepted miners.

There was a time that I had 25 GPUs and 4 CPUs mining and I pointed mostly on ETH and Zcash, it was more profitable, but I always put 1 card only to mine unknown coins, you see, only 1 card of my 30, so it's nothing risky, and I mined that coin for 2 weeks, and them I put on a wallet and holded mostly of them
It's an interesting approach, but for rule, it's always best to mine for profits at the moment (excluding people that are engaged to some projects and want's to support the network of that coin)
5485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins are good to mine at the moment on: February 16, 2020, 01:40:31 AM
Coins with low-difficulty and higher growth chances, Check out Ryocurrency(RYO), not all algorithms are good for 4GB card but in Cryptonight-GPU things are different because it is core dependent mining algorithm means it doesn't concern about GPU memory, it can be mined with low-memory cards. Give it a try and you will see the results.

I respect your opinion, but it's better to buy the coins directly if you´re going to bet, waiting to price rises

5486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP ready to make an Epic rally... on: February 15, 2020, 08:43:51 PM
Ripple affected very badly before few days and created amid tension on the Investors, there was lot of excitement as the third largest crypto will soar the market but unfortunately it stills seems to be in bear. However analyst say to hold till the end to the year to see a massive rally on XRP, hopefully XRP will surprise the investors in upcoming days.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.newsbtc.com/2020/02/15/analysis-predicted-ripple-xrp-17-cent-bottom-200-rally/amp/

It's a top altcoin but i don't think people like XRP at all. Many investors have complain about XRP that this coin is not good for trade or investment. According to them XRP team behave like a bank. So in this situation it's hard to tell about XRP is ready to make a huge rally. In my opinion those graph is really good but 200% is too much expected. Well time will tell us everything, and hope this time XRP won't disappointed their investor.

Once I created a thread about which coin was the most difficulty to gain money, or to trade, and the winner, guess what? Yes XRP
There´s a natural rejection with XRP because it´s not like any other coins, decentralized, with community supporting, devs etc, so a lot of people avoid to buy and sell this coin
I believe that there´s people and money to create a rally on XRP, but it´s not easy and not so predictable like others coins
5487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I kept USDT on: February 15, 2020, 04:05:26 PM
This strategy is rare but quite useful, The weakness of this strategy is the uncertainty of usdt.
You will not be able to predict when your tether will be frozen, use another stable coin that is more reliable.

I've been using tether for some time and even in that period that people are afraid and investigating tether
Obviously we can't say for sure that Tether will exists forever or if people have reasons to doubt about the coin, but a simple way to use tether is for short periods of time, this is what I do and if you can read some news about criptos at least once a week you can keep safe
For long periods of time I don't think it's a good idea to hold tether
5488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 15, 2020, 03:57:16 PM
Everyone is losing some money here  Cheesy
Only you have to know about how far can you gamble? How much money can you spend in gamble without harm any another area of your life?
It's up to you to answer these questions

I consider gambling as a hobby, it's very exciting the probability of win, but let's be honests, the math doesn't lie, and the house are just a regular business.
You can just gamble low values, and be careful, don't let emotions guide you in gambling
5489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I kept USDT on: February 15, 2020, 01:47:13 PM
Even for holders, and I included myself, it's interesting and challenging trying to increase you value in BTC
When I have time to be well informed about cryptos, I do some trades with USDT - BTC, trying to buy a dip and them buying BTC again, there's nothing wrong
Some prefer to hold forever, and I'm in the mid term, last year I do 1 or 2 trades only due to my lack of time
5490  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC restoring faith in bull run. on: February 15, 2020, 01:42:40 PM
I was tired of 2018 and 2019 bearish  Grin
Finally we are seeing great results in terms if price, because even in a bearish year, BTC keep strong with the fundamentals and developing
But it's good to see all in green again and people becoming more confident to buy, believing this price is still cheap and with a plenty room to improve and rise
Let's see what great stuff we'll se this year
5491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoins are good to mine at the moment on: February 15, 2020, 01:36:20 PM
With these cards I would do ETH again and again  Grin
Just consider what adaseb told you about the dag size, but I think within a few hours you can install everything and run

If you don't want to do some work, put nicehash and let mine and receive in BTC, without any problem

5493  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Bitcoin - Perguntas e Respostas. on: February 14, 2020, 11:29:37 PM

5494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Back here after a long time, looking to start again on: February 14, 2020, 11:17:47 PM
It looks like some people are starting their rigs again  Grin

I'm out, since my electricity rates are something about 0.20cents USD, so, no way to earn a decent amount mining
How much are you paying for electricity?

People are mining Grin besides ETH, but with this recent spike in price, and the PoW of ETH almost ending, we'll a rush to mine ETH very soon

I'd have to pay ~$10 a month for one rx 580 in electricity. GPU depreciation on top of it. Makes it not really worth to mine. Looking to come back to a coin which could make it worthwhile.

At this moment, a RX 580 can gain 0,64 USD per day with 130w, if you'll pay 10 USD per month per card I don't know...
But you can sell your RXs and buy 5700XT, at this moment this card can do 1.14 USD per day at practically the same price per month of electricity

But you have to decide, because ETH is rising in value, maybe in a month ETH reach 400USD and you can have some mined...
Oh I love mining and the decisions we have to make  Grin Grin Grin

5496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: After losing did you feel you must return the soonest to win back your losses? on: February 14, 2020, 07:34:43 PM
I think that thought is the most destructive when it comes to gambling.
The fact of trying to recover what you lost, as quickly as possible, leads anyone to lose even more and generate more feelings of frustration and loss.
The ideal, and what I do is to make a plan about how much I can bet, and if I reach that limit I should stop.
That would be the main rule to be followed to avoid more losses.
5497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH could reach $440 if bullish on: February 14, 2020, 07:30:28 PM
I totally believe that ETH could reach the 440 USD levels, and even more. Why?
ETH is the second coin, top 1 altcoin, and always follow BTC
This year BTC will probably reach some interesting and high levels os value, so ETH will follow
ETH is being developed well, and it's always on the news and now it seens that they will finally change the PoW, so could be a good change to ETH

5498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tony Hawk foundation accepting Bitcoin! on: February 14, 2020, 07:23:11 PM
I've always liked skateboarding, but I haven't followed news even from Tony Hawk for some time.
I don't think it makes much difference for BTC in general, but I'm enjoying the fact that BTC is being used for a lot of fundraising and charity projects. I think the best news is that.
Here in my country we also have several assistance projects that accept BTC as a form of payment, in order to reach the largest possible audience.

5500  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: CAMPANHAS DE ASSINATURAS ATUALIZADAS on: February 14, 2020, 05:46:52 PM
