White House reporter Tara McKelvey and videojournalist Fraz Strasser were among the first to arrive at the scene on I-66, where Bryce Williams – also known as Vester Flanagan – crashed his vehicle and shot himself hours after killing journalists Alison Parker and Adam Ward during a live news broadcast in Virginia.
Strasser tweeted that he and McKelvey were told the footage “could be evidence,” and that they were forced to delete it. He added that a cop by the name of Officer Clark threatened to tow their car because it was apparently illegally parked....." Evidence of a hoax. So what's the deal here, because it's the state perpetrating this we're obliged to go along with it? I had doubts the first day. Her "fiance" that people didn't know she had, and he's smiling on the news? I lost my dog last year, and I had to take care of her, and bring her to the vet, and I cried and cried, I could not even think about doing anything else but lying in bed crying. How can these people think about going on air the day of.....and smiling.  The details the media is reporting keep changing and I saw the youtube/twitter video. The jig is up man. |

What speeds do you get when you are not pointing it twords MRR as pool? I have seen MRR slow down some before. Worth trying another pool to see what happens. I think there's seriously sketchy mess when it comes to power, so called "free energy" like cold fusion, mega scams like Enron, smart meters. I'm fairly sure the average Joe is getting screwed out of his money and lied to on this.

Well the bacon was delicious, again.
Turns out the power supply powering my powered hubs got fried by the latest power surge. Pulled it out and Windows booted right up, odd that it would cause windows to lockup like that. The blockchain got corrupted again of course.
6 years, 32 weeks behind... *sigh*

Outlet repaired, power restored and... all I got is a crooked blue square. It wont boot.  On a side note my work site also experienced inexplicable massive power surges, totally fucked up their computers as well. *sigh* time to fry up that bacon, without any trap music this time.  |

OK get this, as soon Bitcoin Core completed re-indexing the blockchain the electrical outlet where the lamp was plugged into caused another massive power surge. It crashed my computer again and took out my core node a second time. There was nothing fucking plugged in to the outlet. I could tell it was the outlet due the smell of smoke of an electrical fire coming from it. I've cut the power and disassembled the outlet, it's totally fried where the lamp was plugged in. And I was just about to fry up some more bacon. My stomach is growling and I feel queezy from the smell of the electrical smoke.  |

@nobatman ..... get a SSD
It can corrupt, too ... if you use a too big cache mempool ( dbcache=50 for me, it's OK and safe from corruption ). I have a 840 EVO 512 Go SSD (not work very good behing 40°C, need fan !). I see SSDs for $10k and read that they're little space heaters with a short life span. The cost needs to come down, way way way down and the current technology is clearly inferior to HDDs. I think a UPS could have prevented this. |
