It must be a hard decision for Paul Pogba I guess. But it is good that he has made up his mind already. There must be some disagreements with the team about his contract and it could be one of the biggest reasons for him to leave. Besides they had a terrible season in the EPL and they aren't in the Champions League next season. This must be another reason which is understandable of course. Real Madrid and PSG are still highly speculated with him now and Juventus seem like another alternative.

Vinicius - Benzema - Mbappe look perfect but Lewandowski instead of Mbappe hmm not sure if that will be good for Benzema since his role will be to assist him like what he used to do with CR7.. After this excellent season for him, everyone will think that he dropped in performance.

After all people saw how capable Benzema was when the striker position was given to him, I don't think Ancelotti would even consider putting him in the winger position. Playing in a different position restricts Benzema about using his great finishing talent very often. He needs to play as a centre-forward to be very helpful for the team. Taking all of these into account, I think that Real Madrid can sign a top winger rather than a striker too if they decided to continue with Benzema in their starting eleven next season as well. |

Playing style of Monaco is good and they have good opportunity to fight back in the next season. If they buy some good players in this season, they'll be able to maintain a balanced team. Most of the players are hard working and they really deserve this position.
Monaco can come across losing some of their important and talented players in this transfer window. Tchouameni seem like one of the candidates for now because there have been some big teams trying to sign him. There are really big teams like Real Madrid in this race. Monaco faced this kind of situations many times so they are not unfamiliar with it. They like to discover young talents and they help them shine in their lineup. After a season or two, they generally have no choice other than letting that kind of players go. |

As long as Bayern Munich give what Lewandowski wants, I don't think that Lewandowski will even think of leaving the team this summer. He is having some contract issues with Bayern Munich now and it is not known whether they are close to reaching an agreement or else. Teams like Barcelona must be waiting for this contract negotations to finish before making an offer for him. As for my opinion, I don't have any problem on watching him in the Bundesliga now. It is a good privilege but I wouldn't be unwilling to watch him in another big league as well.

The next Grand Prix is going to be another street race which is in Azerbaijan. It has a wider track than the Monaco Grand Prix which gives the drivers a bigger advantage. I hope to watch an exciting race there hopefully because the Monaco Grand Prix was very boring. There is a nice rivalry between three drivers for the championship currently. I will wait for Leclerc to have a much better race this time. He should be able to win this time to improve his morale after this having a poor race. By the way, Russell is still very consistent as he finished another race in top 5. |

I wouldn't like to call Erling Haaland as the next Sergio Aguero but my expectation level from him is very high now that's for certain. Manchester City were ready to give whatever he would like to be able to finish this deal quickly. Haaland is one of the most attention getting players now. His high level of performance at Dortmund was a good sign for the future. Any big team would like to see a this much young and talented striker in their lineup and Manchester City are very lucky to have him now.
Nope. There could only be one Sergio Kun Aguero. If he had won Man City the Champions League then his stay with the club would have been perfect. But all in all, he is still City's signing of the decade imho. He was rejected by Real Madrid when his then father in law Diego Maradona tried to use his clout to have him signed with the Spanish super club. He then went to Manchester City and played under Roberto Mancini and went on to win City's first EPL trophy. It's a pity his career ended the way it did. It would've been hilarious if he won the UCL with Barca.  City unveiled a statue in his honor. It's an ugly piece of work. Lol. It was a really bad statue, I agree on it. For a legend like Sergio Aguero, I would have expected a much better piece of work. When it comes to the alternative clubs for Haaland, I think that it would be very interesting to see him playing for Barcelona. I can't relate him to Barcelona in terms of the playing style of the team. Haaland likes to play games at a high tempo and choosing the Premier League was the right thing I think. If he chose the La Liga, I would have expected to see him at Real Madrid honestly. Because their style is very good for him. |

We don't know his probable future team though maybe his next team are also going to be one of the best teams as well. Whatever team he goes to, I just wish him to continue to play impressively. He has been a special and important player for Liverpool until now.
Sadio Mane has been strongly linked with a move away from Liverpool in the coming months, as he looks to start a new chapter in his impressive career. And I believe Sadio Mane is more likely to move to Bayern Munich, but I don't think he will be sold by Liverpool if they have not found a replacement lined up. Honestly his departure is linked to poor wages and he there has not been any better contract talk to increase his wages base on his performance over the years which boils down to the club's current model where they hand out contracts at similar wages. I believe that Sadio Mane is not making a mistake because they are lot of fringe players that earn double of what he earns. He should boost his finances in a better club. When it comes to the replacement situation, I think that Luis Diaz can be considered as a replacement now. If they sell Sadio Mane, I will be expecting to see the new trio like Diaz - Firmino - Salah. It would still be very strong actually but we don't know what Liverpool are thinking about this situation. Maybe they will want to use the money they will have by selling Mane to bring a solid player like him. If there is a good candidate to fill his place, it wouldn't be bad of course. Maybe Liverpool can go for a striker too who knows. |

The Champions League finale is going to be in Istanbul next season finally after a very long break. I think that Istanbul is one of the meaningful cities for some teams considering the history of the Champions League. It is exactly like this especially for Liverpool and Milan. That extraordinary final game between them is absolutely unforgettable to me as well. We are going to see both of these teams here next season. I don't have any doubt about Liverpool but I hope Milan can also do something this time.

It looks like Alvaro Morata is returning to Atletico Madrid this time indeed. Juventus don't seem very willing to extend his loan contract for now and it is expiring in a month. Maybe they already tried their luck but didn't get a positive response. Morata's period at Juventus hasn't been the most terrible one actually. He has had average seasons with them. I don't believe that Atletico Madrid will give him many opportunities though so maybe they might decide to sell or loan him again. I still don't think that he is more than an average striker.

Now the name of the finals is Warriors - Celtics. It is one of the dream matchups I liked to see in this round honestly. Both of these teams had an amazing regular season first and it was like a sneak peek of what was probably going to happen later on. Warriors were tearing their opponents apart by a strong offense performance. Celtics were doing this by not only their offense but also their defense. I'm confident about both teams' deserving this stage. It is hard to make confident predictions for the champion but I feel like it's Celtics' time.

Celtics have made it! They didn't prove many people who were believing in them wrong and defeated Heat by only a gap of four points. The last moments were thrilling and Celtics let their opponent come more and start becoming hopeful for a comeback. However they still had things under control later and became victorious. There was a great team play by Celtics too. Tatum, Brown and Smart shared similar statistics. Butler's effort was in vain this time but I really liked his trying this hard.

As the summer is almost here, the transfers would start to be seen slowly too. One of the probable transfers I'm curious about is whether Inter will be wishing to see Romelu Lukaku back in the squad. I'd like you to remember that his last time with Inter was amazing in the Serie A. He scored so many goals and made many assists as well. He liked playing for them a lot and he still seems to be willing to come back. He made a great duo with Martinez back then so maybe the team would like reunite them again.

As we are talking about Harry Kane, I can also indicate that Real Madrid would be a good choice for him this summer. We are just making assumptions now of course as we don't even know if he is thinking of leaving even a bit now. He must be enjoying his game under Antonio Conte's great management. If Tottenham weren't able to bring the right manager for the team, I would say that Kane would absolutely leave. But things are different now. As they are going to compete even in the Champions League, he must be happy. On the other hand, a probable offer by Real Madrid might change his mind too.
If Real Madrid seriously makes an offer to him, I think Kane is still possible to leave Tottenham. Since Real Madrid failed to sign Haaland or Mbappe, they may move their target to Harry Kane. They need a CF like Kane, there are not many options for a strong and top CF right now. It is still doubtful about how Kane feels, I am not sure he is quite happy in Tottenham squad although they will play in UCL next season. Tottenham has no good history in UCL, I don't think they target the UCL trophy. It will be different if Kane plays in Real Madrid, Real Madrid always targets to win UCL trophy every season. So, if Kane wants a better achievement, he is better to move to Real Madrid than staying in Tottenham. I think the history of Real Madrid in the Champions League is enough for Harry Kane to be interested in Real Madrid. After the win in the Champions League final against Liverpool I believe Real Madrid has become a lot more attractive for players. Tottenham is not a team that has a good record in the Champions League. And it also seems highly unlikely that they will be able to win the English Premier League title soon when they have competitors like Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea. But will Real Madrid show interest in this player? It is a good and difficult question to ask I suppose. We don't know how much eager Real Madrid would be after failing to sign Kylian Mbappe when they had a big chance. Technically I'm still expecting them to sign a top player for the position if it's possible. I know of course that they already have Benzema but they can't rely on him like all the time from now on. Maybe he will play very bad next season and they will be in need of a very good striker. They had better not leave this to chance while there are good options now. |

To be honest, I wasn't waiting for St Etienne to be eliminated and relegate to the second league today. Auxerre played big in this round to guarantee their place in the Ligue 1. They got earlier in the second half but St Etienne answered in the last fifteen minutes. After having no goal in extra time, we had an exciting penalty shoot-outs section. St Etienne had a very bad start already by missing the first one. They still scored the remaining but couldn't prevent Auxerre from scoring all of the five. I really appreciate Auxerre in this and good luck to them here.

I must admit also that I was surprised with seeing none of English teams winning the Champions League title this season. Manchester City gave up even earlier but it was still a tough fight between them and Real Madrid. Liverpool were in the finale and fought hard for the title too but Real Madrid still benefited from their experience and won the title. It is still a proof for the thing that the Premier League is better than nearly all of the remaining leagues though. It just shares this honour with the La Liga.

We shouldn't forget about the fact that Tottenham reached the Champions League finale before. Maybe Liverpool won the title then but reaching this stage was still a huge success for Tottenham certainly. Considering this fact, I also think that Tottenham can do a good job next season here thanks to especially Conte's great management. They are playing more determined than before and we never know how much they will be capable of.
