5482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 07, 2019, 02:21:20 PM
it's no longer a reason, real Madrid has the worst period this season. lost several times at home and unable to defeat their closest rivals, eliminated from UCL was also the worst achievement. I think the Real Madrid squad is old-fashioned and useless. next season must immediately improve  Cheesy

I feel it too that it’s time Real Madrid fans stop hiding behind the fact that Ronaldo and Zidane departure is hurting them. When the two left their president had a chance to buy a big player like Hazard or Neymar but he decided to save funds, for reasons best known to him. Also if you see the squad it’s old, and they need to replace nearly all of their current players and start fresh if they wish to compete for the title.

Yeah Real need to make big changes from top to bottom. Why didn’t they go for De Gea too, Courtois is rubbish.

I think think everything they’re about goes against what Satoshi intended for bitcoin. I personally don’t use them & won’t in the future either.

I think that three or more meets the definition of multi-,but hey what do I know.  Double digits is some way higher levels, that's for sure.  The 21 club is becoming more and more prestigious, too.

I don’t like to know how many bitcoin’s other people have, it doesn’t interest me but I think lots in this thread are 21 club members.

The one where you need 1 000 000 btc?  Roll Eyes

21 or more bitcoin’s

5489  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 2020 Halving on: March 06, 2019, 02:51:05 PM
85% of all Bitcoins will have already be mined by the time of the halving. How do you think Bitcoins 2020 halving will affect its price?

The price will, in the next few months start to climb slowly until the halving. A few months after the halving we’ll have an epic bull run which has happened shortly after every halving we’ve had so far.

Supporting Liverpool is like backing the wrong horse. They don't have the champions mindset, born losers and inconsistent. Am already regretting supporting them for the championship this year.
What was your motivation to support them. Winning a bet or anything? If that is it then this does not call support.

There are emotions all over when you go and support something. Culture, interest, surroundings a lot of factors influence to support a team.

A true supporter will always back their team no matter if they are doing good or bad.

Pamoldar is right, Man U fans had lots of glory, loads of trophies with Ferguson. They’re not going to just go & support City or LFC now. Picking a football team is like a gf, if you love her you don’t cheat.

Porto vs Roma - Will be really close tonight, I think maybe Roma to squeeze through

PSG vs Man U - Comfortable qualification for PSG

3k in October isn't hopium it sucks man  Cool

Long term look at the price, I don’t mind earning my peanuts in my day job for another few years. I’m 26, plenty of time to enjoy our riches if we have to wait until 2023 for moon.
5494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 05, 2019, 11:03:19 AM
It is all up to Manchester City now , I think tha also that they have tougher games ahead , right now they remain heavy favourites to win the title. Liverpool had a lot of chances and at one point were almost six point ahead and they could't manage the pressure of the Premier League.

Liverpool's mentality seems to have not returned. With the many opportunities available to stabilize the first position, which is wasted, now they are even in a depressed position. The race for the title will be exciting until the end of the competition and the team that has good mentality will be the winner.

Sort of agree, every time it comes to the crunch they seem to fall short. They have all the players, the coach but it seems not the mentality & that’s half of what it takes to be a champion.
5495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 05, 2019, 10:02:11 AM
It would be interesting to see the EPL institute a salary cap like the NBA does.  Would even out the playing field instead of having the same teams finish at the top every year.

Would be a great idea, would stop artifical clubs like Man City dominating.

Isn't the Financial Fair-play supposed to deal with this kind of issue ?
Just kiddin' !  Grin

They side step it with dodgy sponsorship deals. I think Etihad Airways pay them a shit load of money per season to sponsor the stadium. It’s a state owned company so they’re effectively paying themselves to sponsor their own stadium.

Football was much better before oil money & states with questionable human rights records started coming into football. Take me back to the 80’s - 90’s. I think it’s why Fergie left, the soul has gone from football. I mean how are PSG even anywhere too, Chelsea & Man City - UGLY.

5497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is right or wrong that bitcoin price will up to $160k in 2023? on: March 05, 2019, 09:17:43 AM
I think 160k in 2023 is possible if not slightly before in 2022. It follows the trend of what’s happened in previous bear to bull market cycles. I certainly hope so any way.

When is BAKKT due to launch, all I’ve seen so far is excuses & delays. Be nice to see them announce a firm date.
5500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 04, 2019, 04:12:38 PM
Real Madrid is not what it used to be with Cristiano playing for them, no matter that they don't accept this statement because of their pride.

The attacking division creates a lot of opportunities but they fail to conclude them, Barcelona creates less but are far more cost effective as they conclude better than Real Madrid.

Lots of Real’s main players are in their 30’s, it’s the natural decline of every great team. Nothing lasts forever, I’m sure they’ll buy big in the summer & go again.
