What can you say about this thing though: Coinbase CEO Armstrong Wins Patent for Tech Allowing Users to Email Bitcoin. What is your take on this one?
5482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has this year Christmas favor your cryptocurrency portfolios? on: December 22, 2019, 04:57:47 PM
I couldn't hold it back any longer; as I have sold off my major portfolio because of Christmas celebration. This hold started from last year July, 2018 and now, couldn't hold them again as I have sell off my assets because of the pressure from the family members. After the sale of this asset this evening, I was perplexed as how much I just dumped, all in the name of Christmas.

It's your choice mate, I guess you couldn't wait for the next bull run. I wouldn't blame you though, as your main reason is that you need money for Christmas holiday. But I guess majority of us here thinks it's better to HODL and let this worsening condition pass by.

What are your experience: positive or negative.

I didn't sold any of my stash. I'm still going to HODL no matter what.
5483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will ETH dump even more due to PlusToken? on: December 22, 2019, 11:11:08 AM
Well if the supposedly PlusToken scammers has been dumping bitcoin and other cryptos and had a negative effect on the market, then possible that it will also put a dent on Ethereum.

It was reported that the price of bitcoin was severely affected because those scammers are moving it and trying to hide their tracks so that they can cash it out. So I'm sure they will also do the same for Ethereum severely affecting its already worsening price conditions.
5484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Outclasses Other Cryptocurrencies as an Investment Option, Here’s Why on: December 22, 2019, 10:20:07 AM
One obvious reason why bitcoin remain so dominant and the best crypto options is that it's the first and given the fact that many media are now covering bitcoin trades more than ever. Of course we love altcoins as well, however, bitcoin has a good track record.

Most altcoins are still down 90%, while bitcoin has slowly bounce back, just around 60% from its' previous all time highs.

Korean Zombie dominated this fight 100%
Easy win for him.

Right, it was a complete domination from the Korean Zorean, no disrespect to Frankie Edgar but I think he needs to contemplate about his next options (not just his hair).

Give the Korean Zombie the next title shot, I think he deserves it.
5486  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake Stellar Airdrop on: December 22, 2019, 09:18:43 AM
fraud under the guise of Stellar has been around for a long time, I was also fooled before, without me knowing I was taken to a phishing site, so my login data was stolen, fortunately the balance left in the wallet is not too much, from there I learned to be more careful especially with airdrop sites.

You got lucky that you don't have a big amount of Stellar in your wallet other it's going to be a big lessons on you part. I'm just surprised though that this month alone there's a huge explosion of fake giveways entering the cryptospace.

We really need to be very careful so that we won't be a victim and added to the statistics of growing numbers. Good catch from the OP.

5488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are smart as well. on: December 21, 2019, 02:20:28 AM
Scammers don't have to give huge promises anymore, believe me they are among us and they know how smart investors have become too, they always reshape their tactics, now projects don't have to give too good offers because they know people are aware that too good to be real offers are scam, honestly scammers are not idiots

Of course as crypto investors evolved and became smarter, those scammers need to adjust as well.

People keep saying good projects always have good team and brilliant ideas to solve crypto issues, who tell you that scammers can't deliver all this?

And that is the dilemma, it's really hard to know them until it's too late. Many wolves are disguising themselves in sheeps clothing.
5489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teen crook hacked into 75 phones and stole $1M in cryptocurrency: authorities on: December 21, 2019, 01:52:19 AM
Yes, he should be put to jail minimum ten years. Because he really deserves that for stealing someone's money and spending it like for jewelries, lol, total jerk he is. I do hope that people in crypto will always find justice when we loss our money from this online hackers. They really making a run on us and we all know that billions of our money are being stolen already since inception.
5490  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Kraken sued by ex-employee on: December 21, 2019, 01:27:44 AM
So how many Federal banking regulations supposedly Kraken violated here?

Falsifying business records or business address is already a crime right? If I'm the whistle blower, I wouldn't go for out of settlement though, he already drag himself here so why the hell will he do that?
5491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: two gambling games that are players favorite on: December 21, 2019, 01:07:19 AM
Definitely, dice games will be on top of the list. And then there are cards like like, poker, black jack and then baccarat. Next will be the slot machines, I guess.

Dice games have been very successful, we still have some old sites still running and expanding, and then we have competitions sites coming up in the last two years or so.

@eaLiTy - not watching Conor vs Floyd II.  Grin
If Conor McGregor can prove that he has improved on his cardio and with time Floyd Mayweather is aging too so that his reflex might not be the same like before and if everything aligns the same then i might watch the rematch other than that the rematch will be the same like the first fight, Conor advancing in the first few rounds but taking cover and trying hard to survive in the later part of the fight and ends up knocking out in the end when his hands does not move up to cover his chin  Cheesy. I consider both these fighters as characters and Floyd Mayweather made his money as a cocky spendthrift where everyone wanted to see him get knocked out and Conor McGregor had a nation behind him for majority of his career as he was an Irish super star with his fighting skills but right now he pissed off many of his hardcore followers and the casual fans knows what the result would be if they box again, Conor McGregor gassing out and that is the fact Cheesy. I spent money to purchase the first PPV and i am not going to do that again  Wink.

Hah, I still remember that we have a thread and everyone was shouting that the fight won't happen because Floyd's legacy will be affected. And guess what, he doesn't f**ing care, as long as he made big money, he will go for it, so yeah those two have a contracting character but they can sit down and negotiate when there's a big money in table. Grin. Maybe casual fans will buy because of the hype and the trash talking, but I'm sure majority are not into it anymore. I'll probably watch it in youtube,  Grin
5493  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ALERT PLAYSTORE INTRUDERS on: December 20, 2019, 04:47:13 AM
yes i am going to post the screenshot and also try to upload the fake wallet that i have downloaded i need to dinner now i will come back later.
the differences are obvious you will see

No need to upload it. We don't want to spread the file here.

It might be downloaded out of curiosity by the others.

Providing the Playstore link is enough. So that people can mass report it.

Yes, I think a link will be suffice enough so that as a community, we can have a collaborative effort to report it immediately. Without any links people are going to get phished and victimized by it.

So we will be waiting then.
5494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 20, 2019, 04:20:12 AM
What happen to the Lakers?, I was thinking they could give a challenge to the bucks.

They got dominated int he first half, bucks are up 19 points, score is 65-46...
Are they gonna come back in the 2nd half here?
33 seconds left and Lakers is about to lose. Wrong choice for this match I guess. Everyone expected that this is going to be the game of Lakers but it seems that everyone went wrong with that prediction.
Well played for Bucks.

111-104. Good win for the Bucks,  Giannis with 34 points.

They played good defense as well, in the first half and putting a good lead. Although Lakers did rally, Bucks  held on. George Hill coming from the bench and scoring 21 point.  And with the win, Bucks still has the best record.
5495  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC which price it's heading next? on: December 20, 2019, 03:47:28 AM
on 18/12/2019, BTC found strong support around the $6500 area with strong seller rejection, now price has rally to $7100 with resistance around $7,300 to $7,600, where you think it's heading next?  Huh Huh

Well some thinks that we can end this year at the 5 digit figure, so unlikely to happened.

I guess the next price will be $8k, there are times that the price could suddenly spike and possible that it can go as high as $8k at the end of the year. Just be positive though, no need to be disappointed as this is how the market operates. We just hope for the best at the end of the year.
5496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 9 on: December 20, 2019, 03:28:35 AM
What if,... you're just watching someone on a Casino that suddenly keeps winning for a streak then after that he notice you and gave some money as a tip for his luck. Would you use the money he gave you to try your luck on that game (or any game you like) ? Or just keep the money for yourself for a good cause?

So tell me, what's gonna be...

Obviously, you are in a casino, so definitely I will take the risk and play and hope that I can win.

I have encountered this countless times, someone relatively unknown, give me some money, then I play it, and I would say that the result is 50/50. Sometimes I got lucky and win, and then there are times that I lost relatively quick.
5497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 19, 2019, 04:51:40 AM
I was thinking about the fights we will have this weekend, and Frankie Edgar vs Chan Sung Jung, should be a good one, i think Frankie Edgar will win this one. He deserves this win because with his bad streak he haven't done well this year at all. So, he needs to clear his name and reputation. This fight is a good chance for it.

I'm not sure about that, for me Edgar is already way past his prime. UFC fighters did level up, competitions are very different when he was campaigning before so I wouldn't be surprised if he lost to Jung and his losing streak continues. He doesn't had to clear his name and reputation though, no had done enough throughout his career.

@eaLiTy - not watching Conor vs Floyd II.  Grin

Go forward 0:40, and you will hear it straight from Joshua's mouth.

5499  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Kraken sued by ex-employee on: December 19, 2019, 03:39:15 AM
There's no end to the crap an embittered ex employee will pull and they'll be fully conscious of the effect stories like this will have on anything crypto related.

Kraken’s CFO certainly comes off as a shady character. My curiosity has been piqued. The bit about him using the plaintiff's home address for legal and regulatory filings is bizarre. We can't know whether the whistle blowing stuff is true, but Runyon's lawyer can attest to that one.

That's certainly a bit off isn't it? Using employees address? If I'm Runyon then definitely there's some red flag in it already.

The CFO might thought that Runyon will just play all along. Lot's of shady practice was exposed here and perhaps many exchanges are doing the same as well but no one came forward because they either afraid or they are being paid handsomely to somewhat keep quiet.

I guess this case could drag for months before we can finally see who is telling the truth.
5500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 19, 2019, 03:06:45 AM
Lakers and Bucks will going to  start the winning streak again trying to make history for most win.
Yes they have to because their winning streak was stop, Lakers could have a better chance if Davis was able to play, Lebron just can't carry the team alone even against the Pacers. Anyway, they just focus now on maintaining their good record, winning 10 times then loss 1 game is already outstanding.

Pacers won, 105-102, coincidence that the longest winning streak on the NBA was broken just a day apart? Lebron James almost got a triple double with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.

And now Bucks and Lakers are going to start their winning streak again by facing each other.

The Bucks ended their winning streak yesterday against a Luka-less Mavericks and a day after that, Lakers also ended their winning streak against the Pacers. I don't think that there is a coincidence with it. Maybe they are just destined to lose right now for some reasons Cheesy.

With the match of the Bucks and Lakers, I will still go with the Bucks even though their win streak is over already. What happened to them against the Mavericks is just a choke I think Cheesy.

Lol, I'm just messing you guys with the "coincidence theory".   Grin. Ball is round, everything can happened, so upset is really there for the taking and boy Dallas Mavericks looks it easy to beat the unstoppable Giannis led Bucks.

However, I wouldn't agree that Milwaukee choke against Dallas. Mavericks did play very well and when Bucks are getting closer, they hold on tight, play good defense up until in the last seconds because Giannis was pushing hard or the Bucks are trying to go for overtime.
