I think your choice is correct to trade with the BTC pair during the bullish market or the USDT pair in the bear market, maybe you are just wrong when opening a trading position so that it gives you a headache. that way you have to learn again the right way to trade, the basis that needs to be learned is how to know when the right time to buy and sell. so it might be able to minimize your losses.

I'm sure everyone has the same hope, which is the rise of Bitcoin. including myself who hopes that Bitcoin can reach the new ATH. however, I am aware of what I learned from the previous halving in 2012, 2016 and forthcoming in 2020. if you look at the history of the year halving occurred the price of bitcoin did not increase so high, and only reached its highest price after the following year after halving. means that if we look at the coming year the highest increase is likely to occur in 2021. So I do not really hope that for 2020, the important thing is to get a profit first. after approaching 2021 I will buy it as much as I can

Sebagai penerusan Analisa Teknis saya yang minggu kemarin, jika melihat Harga Bitcoin minggu kemarin telah mencapai Titik Resisten 1 yaitu sampai harga 7576$ dan Kemudian mengalami koreksi sampai Titik Kunci 7166$.
dan saat ini saya membuat lagi Analisa Teknis yang berlaku sampai 6 Januari 2020.

Seperti Biasa Indikator yang saya gunakan:

Inside Pitchfork saya gunakan sebagai penentuan titik Resisten dan Support, cara penggunaan nya hampir sama dengan Fibonasi.

Parabolic SAR
Indikator Parabolic SAR saat ini posisinya seperti minggu kemarin: sudah berada di bawah candle, dengan begitu kemungkinan naik sudah pasti. namun perlu di waspadai karena spread Parabolic SAR nya terlalu dekat yg di khawatirkan perubahan yang harga yang fluktuatif, itu bisa saja berbalik arah lagi.

RSI
Masih berada di titik 54 dan saat ini posisi cenderung menukik kebawah.

Potensi Harga Bitcoin pair BTC/USD Sampai Tanggal 6 Januari . TF 4H
Titik Kunci: 7375$

• Resinten 3: 8017$
• Resisten 2: 7772$
• Resisten 1: 7621$

KESIMPULAN:
Jika BTC/USD diperdagangkan di atas titik kunci maka potensi tertinggi Harga Bitcoin sampai 6 Januari 2020 Hanya 8017$
Jika BTC/USD diperdagangkan di bawah titik kunci maka potensi terendah Harga Bitcoin sampai 6 Januari 2020 Hanya 6735$

Sebagai Catatan: Harga Bitcoin saat ini berada sedikit dibawah titik kunci dan berada di area Descending Triangle untuk jangka panjang.

I think if you are a long-term investor there is no harm in buying Altcoin at this time, rather than buying Altcoin that has gone up, because I see that a lot of Altcoins have reached the bottom price.  so if we buy it now and hold it for the long term it's the right choice.  but keep in mind that Altcoin has the potential to be purchased.  because sometimes there is Altcoin that has reached the base price but does not have the potential to rise in the future.  so you have to be able to choose between it, in order to reach the target you have set.

I think your assumption is not entirely true, indeed when Bitcoin has increased Altcoin will decrease. but do you remember in early 2018 when BTC reached its highest price Altcoin also increased. such as ETH reaching 1300$, LTC reaching 380$, BCH reaching 4000$ and many others. so as I see in my technical analysis Altcoin is actually already in the Buy area. maybe at the moment there is still need more positive news to be able to push.

I think it's too much if we talk about 2023, whereas 2020 hasn't even begun. what we need to know is the potential for the coming year in 2020, because after all we are definitely looking for profit from now until 2020 to sustain our living costs. the most important thing is we look for profit for next year not for 2023.

as time goes by let alone answered, do not always dream for something that is not certain, especially if you talk about the year 2023.

I'm not sure Bitcoin will reach $5500 this month, as I saw in my technical analysis, the second support line is priced at $6000.  whereas now the price is above $7000 and the Parabolic SAR indicator is still pushing from below in the sense that the bullish trend still exists.  so I think the possibility of reaching $8,000 until closing this year is still possible.  we need to see it until we really reach the new year.

I look at a glance at my technical analysis for the long term in the 1 week time frame that there are already bullish indications for bitcon, of course it illustrates what will happen in 2020.  well of course if that happens yes maybe Altcoin BTC pairs will fall, but I think altcoin will go up with the Fiat pair.  and as time goes by of course Altcoin the BTC pair might not continue to fall with the BTC partner, I'm still sure Altcoin still has hope to get back up again.

but I think that's not entirely true, because what I know when Bitcoin goes up, there is also Altcoin which also goes up in the Fiat pair.  so such thoughts should not be applied to the way we trade.  so as not to miss the moment on Altcoin which also went up.  in fact Altcoin is now in the right entry area for a long-term time frame.  I have started buying it little by little because I am more confident in 2020.
