5501  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are you favourite Indicators for trading? on: March 31, 2019, 10:22:01 PM
RSI being a lagging indicator rarely helps. Most of the time it fails to predict anything so I really don't recommend you use it.
It works if you know what you are doing and what you are looking for. RSI and alongside EMA helped me make roughly 15% profit on one of the trades this week on a coin which is even dumping as shown by the daily chart.

I usually look at that double dip as shown in the first yellow box. As soon as the second dip starts to rise past 30 that's a strong buy signal for me even before the 4 EMA cross over each other to show a bullish trend

Now my target is usually 7% profit but in this scenario the sell signal came at around 15% which i happily took (a 4 EMA crossover and the RSI overbought indication in the second yellow box was enough to convince me to sell). Now tell me how this is a failure to predict?

Remember this is a dumping coin where people can't even think of making a profit

The Milans don't disappoint when it comes to being inconsistent, do they?
I think even if Juventus just stopped training for the remaining matches and just played them right out, they would still lift the trophy.
I am yearning to see a reply of those old days when the Milan derby was really something hot. When the Milan teams had fire in them... but i guess it's just a dream now.
5503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 31, 2019, 09:49:54 PM

Agree, though I predicted a 3-1 win in favour of Madrid, I knew today's opponents were going to put up a fight.
Nice to See Big Benz back to the scoring sheets. It's still so unfamiliar having him as Real Madrid La Liga topic scorer with just 15 goals i think?
Messi has like 31 and Suraez around 18.
This is a very big indicator that something was totally amiss for RM this season... This is one campaign Los Blancos would want to forget so quickly.

I am not a fan of animations but if its about bitcoin, then it will be an exception
5505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are you favourite Indicators for trading? on: March 31, 2019, 07:20:54 PM
Wow, thanks for your responses folks, looks like the most popular indicators are bollinger bands, MAs and RSI.
I personally haven't been using the bollinger bands I am definitely going to look at it the coming week

All these you listed are lagging indicators (they go after the trade call has happened) They can make you money, no doubt. But that may not last as they can lose you more money than they ever make for you. You need leading indicators like Trend Lines, Pivot Points and Price Action. These indicators lead you to where price is going ahead of time.
Lagging indicators to me are much better. By the time they show a buy or sell signal depending on the interval you have set. You sure have to buy or sell unlike other indicators that can lead you to certain traps like the bull trap.
My kind of strategy doesn't require taking 40 - 50% profit per trade, Just 1-7% is enough, so they work perfectly for me.

5506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 31, 2019, 06:57:59 PM
Great win for liverpool, they had to dig in dip for that, They aren't gonna back down! If City's gonna win this then they aren't going to have to it easy.
Chelsea won after trailing by a goal after the break.
Indeed, it was a hard fought victory. This is how they have to fight till the end if they are to get the Title. This result will be useless if they go ahead and draw or lose to a certain Newcastle or Cardiff City whilst Man City continue winning.

5509  Economy / Trading Discussion / What are you favourite Indicators for trading? on: March 30, 2019, 10:13:37 PM
We know that successful trading involves so many factors such as managing one's emotions and risk management, but we also  have those indicators that do guide us on when to buy and when to sell.

So I would love to hear from the community and other experienced traders here. What is that indicator that has helped you make a good amount of profits?

My Favourite are;
- Exponential Moving Averages (4 EMA 8,13,21,55)
- MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence)
- RSI (Relative Strength Index)
I have made some profits with them from time to time.

Atletico Madrid is buttering Alaves in their own yard.
4-0 so far with the game already in stoppage time. Atletico trying to tighten the second spot away from their city rival Real Madrid.
5511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 30, 2019, 09:24:46 PM
33 minutes gone, AC Milan are still currently trailing after falling behind just within the first minute of the game, Piatek had a great chance to equalise but could find the net with just the keeper to beat.
Another disappointing game for AC Milan. 89 minutes of play since the first minute goal from Grégoire Defrel and still nothing for AC Milan to show results wise. Seriously I don't know when we shall even see the AC Milan of 13-15 years ago again. When will Milan ever be great again?
No wonder this is why the Seria A league is always a walk over for Juventus.
5512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 30, 2019, 09:14:41 PM
Bloody hell, lost my parlay on Wolves AGAIN. They have single-handedly lost me the most money this season, and it's so frustrating because they're actually so good. I suppose I should have expected Burnley to be fighting for their lives...
Sorry mate for the loss.
Burnley needed to win this game so badly as I highlighted earlier on. Actually I would avoid placing a bet on any fixture that has a team which is involved in the relegation battle.
5513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 30, 2019, 12:52:40 PM
Huddersfield play Crystal Palace today and they could equal the record for the earliest Premier League relegation if they lose.
Huddersfield will be relegated if they lose while  both Southampton and Burnley win.
What do you think folk?
Do you think Huddersfield relegation will be confirmed today?
5514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: March 29, 2019, 08:29:24 PM
Real Madrid should be able to take silver this season.
Wait, does the Spanish Supercup count as silverware for this season?
It counts towards the next season as the current season in spanish football ends in May. The 2019 Super Cup should start around August.
Exactly what i also knew.
I am wondering what silverware @Cryptjh is talking about?  Grin

Thank you very much for your response.
Your API would be of great help. I am not so much of a technical guy in this field but I have been learning a few things and am still learning more  Wink

5517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's your favorite to win this year's Europa League ? on: March 29, 2019, 07:54:46 PM
I would like to see Slavia Praha in the final, I know that is almost impossible, but it will be sensational to see a club not from the EU-top5 major leagues to win this competition
It's football mate, anything is possible.
By the way, when an under dog gets to the final, I usually prefer them winning it as they would have really used a lot of hard work and determination to get there.

I do agree with you on the Messi bit. He's a great player but would really love to see him play for a club other than Barcelona. It would be much easier to make comparisons with CR7.

As for CR7 he has proved that he can fit anywhere... I don't think fitting in Barcelona would be a problem for him despite their system of play. Don't forget that he's style of play has changed over the years. He no longer chases the ball that much and do those fancy tricks.

I’m glad this crap is over again for now. Let’s get back to the Champions League & Domestic Title races.
Grin Same feeling here, the way i hate International breaks. Only God knows.

Real Madrid should be able to take silver this season.
Wait, does the Spanish Supercup count as silverware ware for this season?
I thought it would be for next season but even then it's not a guarantee that Real Madrid would win

You will not publish your bets?
Yeah, he says he won't reveal the picks but those code you see about contain the picks.
Hopefully he reveals the picks after six months.

Thanks for starting up this thread.
I am really curious to see what the outcome of the experiment is. It could perhaps change my thinking about gambling and the different bookies.
I will check in from time to time to see updates.
Cheers.
