It's hard to trust BFL with any product they put on the market after their checkered history. If not sticking to my smartphone, I'd put my BTC in anyone else but BFL for my hardware wallet needs.

If you have BTC to burn then check out the Spondoolie tech miners. If first batch has no issues then it's worth a gander.

* an additional 0.0005 BTC per post adds up quite nicely. He can change rules and run any time without any explanation as he do few months ago It's worth the risk for April 1st though, sorta like a trial period. At 0.0001, for members and full members, it's not worth payout to stick around until a rate change.

You should definitely lower the price substantially. Your cost is the cost of 400 GH/s of Antminers. That won't sell in Bitcointalk land.

Those are batch 1 miners, the ones that should have been shipped by the end of the month. So you're basically paying to get toward the top of the list. Most likely miners that got freed up by giving refunds. Batch 1 or not, that is quite a ripoff price. For roughly $120 more you'd get a brand new Antminer at 200 GH/s in a few days today. I'm never pre-ordering anything again. If it's not in hand, say no to the man!

Only one of my Orders was for 0.002 Bitcoin the Other 2 Orders were from 0.069 Bitcoin and just under 0.02 Bitcoin.
Dude, honestly, what on earth where you trying to accomplish with the 3 orders that you made? All I see is that you sent them a partial payment without any intention to really complete the payment for them. For.. what? To be able to re-sell them to some other dude on this forum with a mark-up, should they get sold-out like KnC and other pre-order vendors? I would have paid in full if there wern't better offers by Better ASiC Providers. I've asked for my money back for months now and I was going to use that money towards purchashing an actual ASiC worth something that makes ROI back within 2 months and costs 10 times less. Ohh and btw my purchases are none of your concern so kindly don't judge me on wanting a refund that I am entitled to get back. And to put it simply , I did not ask for your opinion , I asked for a refund Just out of curiosity what is the other asic that'll ROI and cost 10 times less? Not being disrespectful just wondering, because I can't think of any right now. Not Bitfury, not gridseed, not Coincraft clones. Ants are the best buy at the moment.

I'm thinking if the environment were really toxic, we'd be in single digits by now. The recent price decline can be traced by a false leak by Sina Weibo (Chinese Twitter) that Bitcoin was completely banned in China: “It is rumored that on March 18th the PBOC had issued a notice calling for all bitcoin transactions to be halted by April 15th. As of today the PBOC has not confirmed nor denied the statement.” The PBOC later retracted this statement: The report by certain media that PBOC has issued a document as of 3/18, requesting all bitcoin transactions be halted by 4/15' is in error. The attitude of the PBOC towards bitcoin has been clearly stated by the [5th December] document issued by the PBOC and five other agencies.

The way I see it is that 0.1 mBTC is just too small of a sum to be worthwhile, and you might as well go for the 0.6 mBTC signature campaign if there is any likelihood of RGC paying out. RGC already owes me 0.07 BTC (lol) Plus it's only 10 days of wasted signature space if it turns out to be a scam. That's just my opinion. That is true, if I would have to post 30 days to see if it is scam I wouldn't use it, but 10 days for possibility to 0.0006 BTC is good deal I'm in the same boat. If it's too good to be true, it's only 10 days wasted on RGC for a possible bigger payout. If it's bunk, then back I go to PD and his guaranteed payouts.

Haha that's great stuff, very nostalgic. The International Bank of Nigeria was a nice touch.

I can't believe how Negligent Karpeles and MTGox are. 200,000 BTC just shows up out of the blue in one of their wallets.
Truly a criminal operation and a stain on all of Bitcoin.

This is merely the calm before the storm.
BFL, KNC, AsicMiner, and Black Arrow have yet to ship. Expect late spring to mid summer to see the difficulty spikes.

Regardless of this issue being out of their controll, they should have suspended transactions the second they knew there was an issue. When Roi is dependent on price vs. Delivery time these machines will not be as profitable. I would hope bitmain takes care of people who experienced delays due to them still accepting business knowing of the delays. Im expecting a nice few coupons for my delay. Do the right thing bitmain.
What transactions are you suggesting they try to suspend? You can't call "backsies" once you've sent your Bitcoin transaction. Once there's 1 confirmation on the Blockchain, it's in the history books. That's the beauty of Bitcoin. No chargebacks or pending authorization by institutions or card companies. The whole issue was with their automated order system pairing with Blockchain. Once Blockchain had issues, they had to manually process each order submitted to them. Let's see you try to enter a few hundred orders of different quantities at 4 decimals places and ship each unit correctly throughout the world in a matter of hours.

Like others have been saying, hedge your bets.
Put half into mining, half into just buying the coins and hold. Good Luck!

Something is just not right with this. My orders are showing as expired as of 2 days ago, having been fully paid for minutes after ordering. I totally get that sometimes something crashes. I'm a software engineer. I fix software problems every day.
But, I've also started and run a business. In business, customer is #1. Customer is always right. It is never appropriate to tell the customer to "relax, all will get fixed at some indefinite time".
We've all spent real, hard-earned money with BitMain. The responsibility to communicate and to over-communicate if necessary is theirs. They have to earn our trust not by letting us sit here and worry but by openly communicating what is happening, why it's happening and various challenges they are having and what they are doing to resolve them. We will all get it. We will all give them time. We will all appreciate their honestly.
But... them simply disappearing into ether with a "don't worry, we'll fix it eventually" is not acceptable in 21st century. Perhaps we in the Bitcoin community accept it. But nobody "normal" will ever accept it. The model is Amazon.com. They will bend backwards to ensure the customer is 100% happy with every aspect of what they do. Their customer service will pick up the phone instantly. They will be courteous and respectful. It is NOT EXPENSIVE to have great customer service. All it takes is to have someone provide periodic update like: "we have 150 orders that need fixing and we are done with 87 of them". An hour later it would be "we are done with 99 of them". That's ok. That will allow us to sleep easy.
But that's NOT what BitMain is doing. They are letting us all hang out there to dry while holding on to our money. That is not what we should expect of our service providers. And this is not what a 21st century consumer would expect when they really start doing business with Bitcoin-centric businesses. We *must* expect better.
BitMain -- step up to the plate.
According to your timeframe, 2 days ago is when the BlockChain.info problems occurred causing the order flow delays with Bitmain. So actually, it's not Bitmain's fault. They probably had an automated system with Blockchain to verify orders, then when Blockchain went down or had issues, they probably had to do everything manually. Too late with these particular order(s), but in the future if you do decide to order again any Ants, try the resellers or distributors like Ninjatech, 112bit, or Minersource as they're all much more responsive than Bitmain. You can even PM them and they'll respond!

Dont download this, the receive bitcoin address list is missing. And you have to start over.
I was just about to do this upgrade, what exactly is the problem you're referring to? The receive list as we know it is fucked. This is what it used to look like https://bitbargain.co.uk/s/img/sign_message.pngThe new one looks like you have to fill out a note from grandma evertime you want to receive coins,. Is there any truth to what this user encountered with receive addresses after upgrading? Any devs want to chime in on this?
