5501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 09, 2017, 12:01:54 PM
Cash is better than bitcoin in the case where you have to make the payment without internet. Moreover, transactions through bitcoin take time. There are many reason for bitcoin being better than cash. But still bitcoin need to be improved for easy and fast transactions.
As quoted cash is better than bitcoin in some form, and bitcoin will be perfect on some form. It's good to use upon one's own necessity. At times transaction confirmation delay takes place. With cash we can avoid the unnecessary charges that were levied without any prior indication.
5502  Economy / Speculation / Re: sub 1000 gone forever on: May 08, 2017, 04:30:54 AM
One thing I am hoping for is it stays like this for 10 more years. Some people here seem to think so judging from their posts.
Bitcoin is still a tiny dot. If you look at how much potential growth it can realize in the coming years, then at some point you'll think back and regret not having bought more at current prices.

Bitcoin will continue to break through each round $K mark. It's impossible for the price to remain at these levels for too long if you take the growing demand into consideration.

That's exactly why I will keep hodling the far majority of my coins for many many more years. It really doesn't make any sense for me to cash out at current prices. It will be extremely dumb to do so.

I am with you in your opinion. But it does not mean that I would buy without any thoughts about good entries. I always buy when the price crashes that is why I always have low bid orders ready at the $1000 - $1200 level. Sometimes my buy orders get filled sometime they miss but they are always there waiting.
That's good way to buy at the best price and profit at the right time. As bitcoin is a speculative currency anything might happen based on the user community who are the driving force of the price and the growth in different sectors. Possibly more the investment will lead for further price surge.
5503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Trading vs Gambling on: May 08, 2017, 04:08:57 AM
with exchanges going down - trading is same as gambling imo - or even worse Wink
Though exchanges go down there are lots of access for trading not only through exchanges. Reputed exchanges even on fall retains in a short. Trading is same as gambling is accepted at this moment as the price has increased big and the risk big and experiencing loss will affect the user much.
5504  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: May 08, 2017, 03:50:01 AM
I wouldn't suggest anyone to sell any Bitcoins right now since the price of Bitcoin is going up. Since I like to watch the Altcoins go up in value when the price of Bitcoin goes up, there is a large chance that people could make more Bitcoins from participating in the price uptrend.

The only thing that I don't like about people panic selling is that they usually complain when the price of Bitcoin gets really expensive and they can't purchase Bitcoin cheaply.

It's fine if they are going to sell only if they really need some extra cash for their own purpose but don't ever try to sell all the bitcoin that you had. I really hate panic selling, there's no unity between the users and traders, when this panic selling will be stopped for sure we are going to see the price to fly up to the moon.
We doesn't seems need to panic selling why? Because why would you sell it if you will lose? Then HODL for it and be patience you will see it if you panic sell and the alts that panic sell is pump much more high. Then you should think of it why i sell it? I just want to say AIM FOR THE HIGH

Yes we really don't need to panic when it comes on selling our bitcoins. But the only thing I'm saying that it's fine to sell, is only if you really need some cash or you don't have enough for spending. There's no need to do panic selling, the normal selling is fine because it is helping the bitcoin economy and only few btc you will sell.
in fact people need good knowledge about bitcoin trading. and when they will learn and get knowledge about bitcoin then they will not trap in penic selling, those people who do not have good knowledge about bitcoin then comes in pressure very soon and when the price of bitcoin start decreasing they consider it as panic selling and sell their own bitcoin with lost.
That's the human nature. When something decline in value than what's been expected there a panicking situation arises. This can be easily overcome by the big investors or people with good capital backing. Most of the trading personalities were into it to make a day earning, so even if they were knowledged the situation allow them to sell creating path for big investors to profit.
5505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: In what to invest $2k? on: May 08, 2017, 03:32:38 AM
Few altcoins seems to profit more than 200%, so it's better to invest into those. This profits you big if it once again pumps in a short as cryptocurrencies are in the pumping rally. Bitcoin too is an good choice but when it comes to profiting it is assured but can't expect big as you can afford little coins.
5506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: May 07, 2017, 05:18:44 AM
Do you gamble for fun or for profit?

A lot will say its for profit for sure. For me, the fun doesn't exist while you are playing. I always feel very nervous while I'm at it because I know it will disappear in a matter of seconds. The fun only exists after you win your target price.
A lot of people enjoy that adrenaline though, just from the prospect that they might win.
To experience the adrenaline pumping more users take part in gambling, but we cannot say that it's fun. They hope for the win and take part into these gambling events. When the win is confirmed at that moment an adrenaline pumping will be there that happens what to do next which is true fun as the mind will be satisfied with the win.
5507  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: May 07, 2017, 05:08:04 AM
If the politicians enters in the world of bitcoin, I think there is a chances that bitcoin can lead to corruption. Even there's a chance the corruption of bitcoin, it will never be happen anymore because developer would not want it to happen because they know that bitcoin corruption can lead the bitcoiners to quit using bitcoin.
Anyone criminals or corrupt if they already know the anonymous and decentralized advantages of bitcoin. They will surely make use of it for illegal activities. Such as money laundering

Money laundering entirely differs from corruption. For both the needs bitcoin can be used due to the nature it's been developed. Being anonymous helps users make transactions without revealing end to end identity but with transparency in the value move. Right now Money laundering happens much through bitcoin than corruption as politicians were not much aware of cryptocurrencies.
5508  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Strategy To Increase Fiat HODLings? on: May 07, 2017, 04:38:06 AM
It's a give fact that most of us trade Alts to increase our Bitcoin Hodlings. Having said that, I'd like to know if anyone follows a strategy to increase their fiat balance by trading it against Bitcoin.
Right now trading altcoins to bitcoin is found more profitable than holding fiat by trading altcoins or bitcoins. For this reason most of the users prefer holding bitcoin rather than fiat. There are users who often convert to fiat and hold it to buy when the bitcoin price falls. Better is to hold bitcoin and profit as price varies often.
5509  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is more profitable: a gambling site or a dating site? on: May 07, 2017, 04:12:52 AM
Potentially gambling is most profitable than dating site. Nowadays, there are many dating site and i think pll bored with this, except you can make unique dating site

Well, gambling sites give you more profit. More people are having fun on gambling sites. A lot losers than winners in gambling.
Based on most users suggestions I believe gambling websites were more profitable than the dating websites functioning with bitcoin access. Same as the profitability gambling websites have big complications, that even a small mistake can lead to a big loss.
5510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: May 07, 2017, 04:01:03 AM
I have noticed so many players are just gambling for the sake of profits only. But majority of them loses most of the games eventually as they are not smart players.

So how should we gamble in a smart way so that we do not get more frustrations due to continuous losses?
Many of the players in gambling are dependent on luck every time they play in the games.
so I think the smartest thing I saw in playing gambling is if you are winning in the games, you should stop at once
then back again in another day.

Taking up a rest for awhile when you did won some amount already is the best thing to do.
Because if you will not going to stop, the winning that you've got will be gone immediately. We know that no one is winning against the house in the long run, so that's the most possible that is going to happen, the house will recover your winning.

In my opinion this looks like a strategy on how to win in gambling and that's a dangerous thing because it gives you hope that if you do it smart way you can make money with gambling. People who think this way become gambling addicts sooner or later.

The only smart way is to gamble with full understanding that you will never earn anything with gambling, you can only have fun with it and if lose not much then it's worth it.

It can be treated as a strategy, I don't see any danger when you are doing this. It's good that you will stop and enjoy the winning you've got for this day. So where do you think is the dangerous part of it. If you are smart enough that you know the winning you got can possibly get again by the house, then do this.

The dangerous part of it in your previous sentence, you've said it yourself:

Quote
It's good that you will stop and enjoy the winning you've got for this day.

Enjoying the winnings from gambling is dangerous. If you don't want to become a gambling addict you can enjoy the process but you shouldn't enjoy the winnings especially the way you described: win some, withdraw, enjoy. Thus you'll make yourself think that gambling can bring you some money, and that's what's dangerous because only when you think gambling can bring you fun and no money you are pretty much safe with it.

in fact if you are not going to play gambling for making money then you cannot enjoy gambling, there is only fun in gambling if you are going to invest your money in gambling. and certainly if you will invest your money then you will become addicted.

No no  Smiley Fortunately we have another option with gambling. We can play for the fun of it. Yes we enjoy the winnings but they are so small they are just numbers. If I bet 500 satoshi with 10% win chance and I win I do enjoy it and I brag in the chat showing my winning roll, but what can I buy with 5k sats?  Smiley
There are users who prefer gambling for fun, but the same is not possible throughout. At some point they think of making money through it. Soon they'll be depositing big amount to gamble who in the past have been using Satoshi for fun. If it fails the search for a way to regain the loss initiates. This keeps happening profiting the gambling house and the user at times.

This is obviously a doubler, HYIP or a scam look how the opener is looking for someone to invest in a project and offers impossible returns on a very short time frame, people please stay away from offers like this an anything that resembles it.
I appreciate the courage of the user to generate such a thread in our forum. Here most of the users were much aware of the scammers running around. At this time, a plan without proper explanation and just expecting investment that grow in multiples is good way to promote the scam. As the above mate said, it's good to be on the safe side.
5512  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price Stability on: May 06, 2017, 02:40:01 AM

Look at this, for a fleeting time the price was truly stable.

Buys and sells balanced spontaneously... It's like when seven of nine saw the omegle particle.. it's beautiful!
This is the price chart of specific exchange. It happens with the buying and selling through the particular firm. A balanced buying and selling order keeps the price with stabilty. Price stabilty is something that's important for an sustained growth, this time soon the selling graph might fall down.
5513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 06, 2017, 02:27:21 AM
This is very strange behavior from players that most of them are going to play for lost not win even Kohli is also not doing some good play after watching today game I am sure this season they play for last position in this year's IPL and they have very good odd for this because on papers this was most powerful team for this season

It's Virat who I feel has let down his team and has been let down as well. He's not been able to perform ever since he had an injury in the earlier international test match and I feel that he should have given this IPL season a miss till he comes back n form. RCB was playing well without him but now the entire team appears as if they can't play at all which is not the case. Gayle, Mandeep, AB and Watson are some great players but they aren't able to perform. Very poor performance in today's match.

A team which includes Kohli, Gayle and De Villiers is struggling to win matches. Royal Challengers are at the bottom of the table. They are 1 point below Gujarat Lions, who have an extra match in hand.
Their loss to Punjab, failure to chase a score of 138 in spite of the powerhouse batting line up, indicates that RCB are a lost cause.
This is something a very worse play. They need to take responsibility to chase it. No need of making big sixes and fours, because the target is just 138 which can be reached easily if a strong partnership is maintained. Every player need to hit sixes, then this will be the result. Because of these idiotic players lot of users might have lost big on gambling.
5514  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: May 06, 2017, 02:13:39 AM
Loss is part of the game, if you can live with it you're ok

So how do you deal with it? Well I'm dealing with it just the normal way, I know that in trading is also a gamble.

Most of the time I'm having decent profit on it but I'm accepting the fact that any time can be a worst trade for me.

Just be ready and accept if you loss, that's fine, real men accepts defeat.

Yes, you can't expect full profit from activities which the return can be huge and that involves a lot of risk. The same we say about gambling we can say about trading, just risk the amount you are afford to lose, nothing more or you will complain about it later. And the most important is to know the richness won't come from night to day, the success is built step by step, slowly during a whole life...
Agreed, everywhere some steps need to be followed. If we expect the richness need to happen in a night to day is simply impossible and has occurred in very few users life due to unexpected growth of the price pumping. Losing is part of every trading, but with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies we need to be quite good on observation else loss could never be stopped as there won't be any prior indication on the price fall.
5515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only now many countries recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency? on: May 06, 2017, 01:51:12 AM
I think it's what they called " FOMO" or fear of missing out. That's what japan felt when everbody else or large countries are already adapting this new kind of digital currencies. Japan is one of countries that has the most advanced technologies and it's really ironic if they're that last to adapt. Then the neighbor countries will comes after next.
This is not because of FOMO, just based on the necessity they have adopted after a long study about it. In my view Japan is the country which is gonna be followed by other countries, till date no other country has legalized it's usage as a currency to be used same as the national currency of the country.
5516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only now many countries recognize bitcoin as a virtual currency? on: May 05, 2017, 11:05:47 AM
Everything has its own time to get implemented according to the requirement of the country. In the past no Countries thought that it would grow high. Recently even Russia a has given access for bitcoin usage without limitations. Russia was one opposing bitcoin and banned the use within the country. Now it has accepted after a long research on the same.
5517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: May 05, 2017, 10:46:20 AM
you can not earn steady in the long run by gambling , build your own business and then you can have a steady income in the long run.

Well we can, we can actually invest in gambling site instead. Investing in a gambling site is a good source of steady long run income therefore it is much better than gambling. Some people win in long run as well, poker players win the game mostly in the long run however they are not really playing against house edge so I guess that wont count?

Yes investing in casino's will make your gambling career as profitable. But it's all about patience and trust, if you will have this then you are good to go on investing with casino's. Because the profits aren't that high as many are expecting and it will take months before seeing the result of your investment from those sites.
It doesn't need to be high because what is important is to be able to generate a constant profit and casinos can give that to us when we will choose to invest. We have seen success stories about how profitable investment in gambling sites and it's a common sense to us since most of us are losers thus casinos are getting more profitable. It's hard to beat the gambling site therefore going on their side is a better way to profit.

Let's accept the fact that if you are going to invest small amount in bankroll casino's. Because if you will just invest small amount on them, your return will be small too and you need to wait for a longer time before you can see the result of it. Getting the favored by investing on their side will always be the best way to make it profitable.

I agreed on you sir, In this type of a business if you really want to earn big you must invest big capital because if you invest in small amount of money in the bankroll,  well don't expect that you are going to earn big income.
There are events such as jackpot where you can earn big investing small amount. It's purely based on the luck you have. Gambling can be made as a profitable business in the long run, because when days pass automatically users will gain experience and get ideas to play at different situations as well gains information on selection of correct odds.
5518  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell my BTC or buy more? on: May 05, 2017, 10:32:43 AM
If you can afford buy coins, else just hold your coins that you have in the wallet rather than selling. Price with bitcoin is always an uncertain one, so hold for a little time period. If lucky you'll experience further price increase getting you good profit. If the price falls too don't get panic and help the big investors profit.
5519  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: May 05, 2017, 10:21:58 AM
All my transactions with paypal were completed, i just lost some money using them because my account werent verified and i couldnt moove the money from it into payza or any other account. But paypal is legit companie if you have been scammed with their policy that protectes the buyer, its another question, but they are in the market and top payment processor using fiat.
Of course you can not use the facility in full if your account has not been verified. Therefore if you want to get ease in using paypal you have to do verification
There is nothing wrong to have a verification about the person identity, because it's been functioning as a cross border transaction provider with tieup with several corporate firms around the world. Its an legalized service provider, which can never go scamming the users. It needs reputation to be successful and long running.
5520  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin credit card? on: May 05, 2017, 05:39:27 AM
Long backone of the signature campaign provided its users with free bitcoin cards on registration. It is same as the debit card that we use with limited access to stores. I haven't come across any credit card issued with bitcoin as the value stored. Possibly in future we may get the service when banks directly starts accepting bitcoin.
