5501  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 25, 2016, 04:55:35 AM
i am prefered investment
i want my money is always growth so is can pasive income for me,saving in my bank only result my job online and offline

Doing both is better than focusing on one, but we all have the capacity to save when we are earning but not all people have the capacity to invest. We are always prioritizing our needs over the other but what if we are just earning a little amount so we cannot invest and wait for the right time we are capable.

Yes, both the ways are useful and profitable for us, but we can make profit more it depend on us, if we save our bitcoins so take a decision on the correct time, than it make profit, otherwise investment is also same way.
If you earn 50% from bitcoin and also 50% from your real job you have the chance to save and invest at the same time. With bitcoin it gives you the opportunity to do both so do not miss the opportunity to invest as that is vital for your success.

Yeah that is going to be a good chance if you are going earn with both. And it is always been better if you are going to do both and you don't have to choose only one from it. Saving without purpose is good, but saving to have a purpose of investing is going to be the best. But always remember don't invest if you don't plans to grow it.

Doing both thing would be the best thing to do but just remember how to handle your time on doing those things because you would really have a hard time when you pursue that you can't really achieve. Saving without purpose as you said is somewhat useful but the possibility to save on that mindset would be possibly changed or your not serious of saving because you don't have plan for your saving but if you have set goals to your savings it would be much more better because you would really save because you set a particular plan.
5502  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Changed my life has it changed yours? on: August 25, 2016, 04:49:24 AM
I'm not like those that think that bitcoin is a bad thing and bitcoin is used only by hackers.

Hopefully I understand how bitcoin works and approx which people use it and what purposes for!

Bitcoin changed my life because it saves me money, it brings me profit and makes me use paypal less.
Bitcoin is only used by hackers? Shocked
Where did you first hear about that?  Huh

There are really some people who believes misleading stories which are not really true.. Bitcoin could be used by anyone and not only to hackers, maybe he read some opinion or article why he said that things.lol. Hackers als use Bitcoin lik everybody does is in here.
5503  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: August 25, 2016, 04:46:43 AM
Have you ever lost Bitcoin?

If that happened, why?   Was it your own fault,  or were you scammed?

Yes i have, it is so sad for knowing i ever lost decent amount of my bitcoin balance while do trading. That happens few months ago when i have started trading.
But it is no problem because I learn so many experiences from my loss

We do really lose money on trading especially when we are just starting and we could not stop that because we lacked knowledge about it. You are correct you could definitely learn from your mistakes and it's also a stepping stone in your career in trading because in the long run you keep trading you would definitely got those techniques and timings which could be profitable in the long term.
5504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: August 25, 2016, 04:43:46 AM
this is the definition of stealing according to Merriam Webster Dictionary.

: to take (something that does not belong to you) in a way that is wrong or illegal
: to take (something that you are not supposed to have) without asking for permission
: to wrongly take and use (another person's idea, words, etc.)

the act of stealing even if it is bitcoin or not is really illegal. this is a kind of question that is explanatory. i don't know if you are just asking it because you are dumb and don't know if it is illegal or not, or you just want to improve your post count for your signature campaign?!

Agree, this question is  explanatory  even  in commonsense you could answer directly this question without being asked to anybody. Maybe hes dumb enough that he doesnt  know whats the definition of stealing to him. As he said  he generate an address which theres already  a bitcoin inside it, if  he try to get those coins then its considered stealing. No questions asked.

You have a point, there's no need to ask this kind of question since yourself could even do that. Stealing is illegal in any way, anything that you stole or get without the owners permission or notice then it's considered illegal. No matter how big or small amount is if you get those then you commit such crime.
5505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 24, 2016, 07:04:27 AM
i found my self broke because gambling
i found my life in a mess because gambling

but because gambling too suddenly rich, suddenly be a billionaire
because gambling too you know what it is the real have fun

how about you?

is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life?

You should never get to a point where gambling can 'wreck your life'. Seriously my friend gambling is supposed to be fun, we all have the highs & lows of winning and losing but please never gamble with sums of money that can 'wreck your life'.
It's supposed to be fun, the main & only rule of gambling is to only bet with amounts you can afford to lose, please remember that. It is not worth getting into financial difficulties. Good luck.
Yes, that's the best answer and explains everything. Gambling shouldn't be wrecking your life. Like what he said, Gambling is supposed to be for fun only. You need to think for the right side that it should be not for addicting. You should gamble for the amount you afford to lose not to gamble everything. That would definitely destroy your life dear.
We have to accept the fact that some people has a bad experience in gambling and it has ruin their life, and that is normal and fair as in the first place gambling is for fun so if you will not play it right you will experience a negative outcome like losing a huge amount of money that would affect your personal life.

our mind setting with gambling, especially when we are just new to this field, is just for fun and only bet an amount that we can afford to lose. When you get the hang of it and is comfortable already with your own strategy, you can start doing your homework - bankroll and session calculations, pre-planned bets, and the like.

But if you are going to control that mind set of having fun with gambling it is going to fall with wrecking your life. And because as the time goes by you are going to think about winning while you are on your way of having fun. We can't deny that a person is still going hope for earning with gambling but that is going to fall for wrecking.

For sure he would  became a  gambling addict in the long run because of continues playing in gambling even youre saying that only for fun thats  not the case as always because  you would fall for  it  on aiming on profits already same as you said. With this aim you would  always play gambling  for such aim which  could cause to wreck your life in the end.
5506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: August 24, 2016, 07:01:25 AM
I see no difference between trading and gambling. I think the only difference is the time frame. In gambling, you can get your results in an instant. While in trading, you can wait for days/weeks before you sell your coin. The instant of you selling your coins in trading will decide if you get profit and how much or you get less than what you've invested. Nevertheless, trading would always be better than gambling because you can do tons of research first about a coin before you invest on it.
I see somehow there is a similarity in trading and gambling because there are gambling games can be studied or research to gain some knowledge that can be useful for you to get the advantage, and I am saying sports betting gives you that opportunity. In addition, sports betting provide a leverage for the bettors to do sports arbitrage which has no risk which will guarantee you a win everytime.

Yeah but how can dice be researched and studied? Its pretty much basic probability. Only method that doesn't quite work well is martingale and usually leaves most gamblers with no BTC after they hit a huge losing streak.

Sport betting is the only game that you could study the probabilities of such games. With that you could lessen the risk and would win that bet but dont forget that you also need luck in able to win because no matter how good your team is but luck doesnt  support you then its a sure lose. Dice is a matter of luck game and martingale is busted  already for a long time which is not ideal to use already.
5507  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do I make money with $100 USD BTC on: August 24, 2016, 06:58:19 AM
maybe he doesnt read the  op's question i guess. buying bitcoin in $100 amount would  be small to keep it for a long time, with that amount i would rather invest  it into trading and  do my best to make it grow with it  just avoid  on lossing trade it cant be possible but be sure to do smart trades so that your $100 in bitcoin would  grow  not just on holding it.

$100 is not really a small amount for everyone but it is small if someone is wishing to hold his coins so for that he would need to grow them a bit by trading altcoins which can generate him good profits gradually even if he starts with $100.

Well for people who are saying that $100 is a small amount well get yourself lives guys for us who are not that wealthy that is already a big amount for investing into something so that we are going to make it grow. And there are only 2 ways that I can think of for investing it by trading and by just keep holding for it.

I think $ 100 is enough large for trading, I just capital only 0.01 BTC or around $ 10 can already generate a hefty earnings, depending on the intentions and stretegi you in manage

also it's depending about your skill, not all people have "good brain, tactic, plan, or highest IQ" to learning bitcoin/altcoin trading, i think start with $10 is better to get more experience, then we start trade with highest capital without any skill.

Right, you must be aware  on the risk when you are trying to purchase   coins that you want because  lots of  alts are existing as of today  you must be selective to those potential coins that you believe that it would pump in the future so that you would gain profit for sure if you pick the wrong coin then say goodbye to your money.

$100 or $10 as long as you know how to trade for sure you are going to make good profit out of it and it is just going to depend on how you are going to focus to your investment. But for me, the best method is going to be trading at all and you just need to buy for the good alt coins that has potential because we all know that there are a lot of shit coins that are coming out.
5508  Other / Meta / Re: Is it allowed to sell Bitcointalk account? on: August 24, 2016, 06:56:33 AM
So final conclusion is that its allowed to sell bitcointalk account, but many of us share opinion that selling accounts leads to some scam or fraud. Can we find a solution to stop this account buying and selling?
Can we move this conversation on next level by starting to talk about preventing of this trading with accounts? What can we "little people" do about this? We don't have any real power on this forum, and I don't see we can do something about it. Am I wrong?

If it is not prohibited or banned by the staff members of this forum then we can obviously not do anything about it except not doing it ourselves if we don't like it, or to tell others not to do it otherwise they will get negative trust from your side, it may somehow prevent users to sell or buy accounts, but i think that wont work as well unless admins take any actions against this.

Even if you  put negative trust to those for sale accounts on some but sellers are clever enough already to use new account and dont  show the  for sale account because it would decrease the value of the account if it putted  by a negative trust. We would have a hard time to stop this thats why the forum itself dont bother anymore  with this scenario because its really hard to stop someone who sold their accounts to anybody.
5509  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: August 24, 2016, 06:51:07 AM
I think it is easy to know that paper money will be gone in future,  as even now, people uses credit cards more than paper money because it is easier to pay for something
yeah even today you can see how many people are using debit cards and credit cards bitcoin. they are currently using it entirely for shopping
and I think if this continues. maybe everyone will do the same thing and paper money will be left behind

Even how many uses debit and credit cards , paper currency still  important because those cards are being refilled by paper currency itself. Cards are only serves as a wallet  for me  which gives  convenience to anyone because you wouldnt need to bring  bulks of bundled money in any transaction you made but think on what do you use on refilling those cards and its still paper currency.
5510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People hate Bitcoins? on: August 24, 2016, 06:47:04 AM
People who hate bitcoin are crazy people.
That is not the reason why they are hating bitcoin.. and i think they are just luck of knowledge about bitcoin thats why they are hating and ignore the uses of bitcoin.. but if bitcoin will be more popular and more countries and stores are accepting bitcoin they will change their mind.

People don't hate bitcoin, but the gorvernment officials hate bitcoin, especially Chinese officials, they defamed bitcoin is a ponzi scam, how retarded they are.
Not all governments actually hate them. Some governments actually love them since it's a new way for them or something else to put tax on.
Some governments however recognizes bitcoins as currency in itself and some just don't care.

Yep, communism countries hate bitcoins, like Chinese, Vietnamese governments hate bitcoin and ban them. But they are incompetent to ban them.

I think China have the larger percentage of owning bitcoin. In my opinion, they would grow it more and maybe use it for power someday. They are good in thinking for their future and not just waiting for what happen.
thats true, and they can move the price pretty easily to be honest if they actually want to do that, though it is a bad thing
Another information I have got. Chinese government hates bitcoin but they have owned a larger percentage in bitcoin community.
No one really can controls you even the government.  Especially bitcoin gives you the power of earning money.
But all of the mining companies in Chinese is not having a legal permission document from the government and they're running with hidden ways. but the electricity in Chinese is very cheap

since china prohibited  to used bitcoin but you cant really stop someone to use or earn it. Because bitcoin is money and  people loves to earn money  thats why  they do whatever it takes to gain bitcoin no matter how prohibited it is. Maybe  they were only silent  in these kind of transactions.
5511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is stealing Bitcoin illegal? on: August 24, 2016, 06:43:22 AM
Let's say I generate a new address and by some miracle it has Bitcoin already in it belonging to somebody else. Is it legal to just take it? I understand those odds are very low, no need to lecture me, I'm just interested.

It is illegal. You gained access to somebody else's goods.
But, assuming that the original owner tracks you down, it will be very difficult for him (in many countries) to prove that you stole something valuable from him and also to be taken serious by the authorities.

I know of case when the owner tracked down his smartphone that was stolen, called the police from the front of the thief's house and they didn't go inside, since they needed a warrant.
And nobody gave that warrant only based on some pictures in dropbox... (yes, the thief made pictures all over the place and the dropbox was active)
From what I know he never recovered that phone.

He didnt intend to  generate an address which owned by someone already but considering he have the motive to get those bitcoins then its  illegal in a sense  that is stealing but  its up to his conscience  how  he would handle those situation.  He can get those bitcoins without being traced since bitcoin is anonymous at its really hard  to trace someone.
5512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dump: I told you on July 3rd.... on: August 24, 2016, 06:35:39 AM
People missed one thing before the halving, at December 2015 bitcoin were worthing 250-300 dollars, at January this year bitcoin jumped to 400 for no reason besides the bitcoin halving coming, soo the current value is the right one and maybe a bit above the real value, that could be 500-600 dollars.  Soo dont expect too much from bitcoin, i believe bitcoin will end the year at 700 dollars but if it stands at this value the halving has already made its presence.

I don't think it's going to stand at this value. People will have to invest again, so we have to wait for the investors to buy some more BTC. Trades and investments are never going to stop, you're going to see these guys around all the time. Everyone is hoping for a price increase like four years ago. If that would be real.. expect the price to go up to $100k next year.

$100k price speculation is too unrealistic to consider to happen in next year as we see tha bitcoin price it even hardly pass on $700 price. How much more in $100k next year then it would be impossible to happen, maybe 800-900 next year would be possible or even this year and thats just also a speculation but realistic compared to yours.
5513  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: August 24, 2016, 06:32:00 AM
I am only currently earning a little from signature campaign and would not consider giving up my day job for what I make with bitcoin. And with bitcoin's price being volatile, it's a little hard to go consider going full time on it. It's a great form of extra income and investment and I would still continue to do this as long as my day job isn't taking up too much of my time.

Earning from signature campaign is not enough for us to make a living... Actually it would consume most of our time if it is the only source of our income... We should have an alternative or as much as possible we should have atleast a good job that pays bitcoin equal to our salary in our day job or more, if it is lesser than that, I think that won't be enough to go full time in it...  Smiley
Absolutely right, depending your income in signature campaign is not a good idea, it is just something that will give us a little amount of money to spend on our wants, our needs should be catered by our job which we earn a bigger salary base on the cost of living in a certain area where we live

Well it is going to be insufficient if you are going to hope for your earnings with signature campaign. But if you are in a signature campaign and you are doing other sources of income as well as trading, mining and buying and selling of goods. Then that is going to be a good time to shift full time with bitcoin if it gives you better income with your job.
It is easy to quit your full time job if you are receiving a good amount of money in bitcoin and in order to receive that amount through working you need to have the skills to do some kind of programming job or coding, or you will be a full time for trading as it would provide you a consistent income once you know the techniques.

You would really need some skills in order to earn  stable income here in bitcoin world. It would be risky if you quitted your job already without any stable income on gaining bitcoins. SKills and investment would be the key to gain good profits that could sustain your living just be sure to have a stable income before quitting.
5514  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARE NEWBIES CONSIDERED AS FOOLS? on: August 24, 2016, 06:29:36 AM
We cannot consider any newbie a fool just because he/she is new to bitcoin. He may be a guy who is very intelligent than all the others in his studies or work and just new only bitcoins world. So it takes some time for everyone to learrn some thing new so dont consider that newbies are fool and they can be much more intelligent also.

I think that if the newbie is intelligent in studies or work, then he wont just jump on creating a new thread as soon as they open a account and ask a regular question about the forum, as their are so many pinned thread in beginners and help and other sections where if they take some time to surf and get knowledge then they wont ask like this silly questions.

Here only they newbie are getting question who just open the thread and run away without following it.

Right,  some  of newbies are intelligent enough  and  doesnt  intend to ask question since he knows already  that it might be posted somewhere else and thats the time he learns for himself in just  using the search button it really doesnt hurt for someone to use that  search button but  most of people dont know how to use it rather  than they choose to make redundant threads which already been asked and been answered in this forum.

I also done the same thing  when i was  a newbie  i never asked usch question because i already searched for it and there are tons of useful information here in this forum  just go to beginners section and you would know those essentail information that could help you a lot and also try to learn in every  thread that you read so that  it would be added on your ideas.
5515  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn bitcoin by sig campaign? on: August 24, 2016, 04:18:30 AM
Readvand wait for two months then join in sig camp and start earning

Not only that Just find the right campaign Where you get good amount of payment and check is there Escrow is working on that sig campaign, and wear their signature and pass a post in a Signature campaign's thread. and most important don't join to the negative trust guy's sig campaign, because he may cheat us.

Actually in service section all signature campaign using escrow, maybe 1 or 2 campaign don't use escrow like secondstrade, but secondstrade already got trust here.

OPAIR ddoesn't hold any escrow too but Lutpin is the one who managed it and i think is safe.. IT is also important to check what kind of site that the campaign are promoting.
for example a scam site, do you think they will gonna pay for the rate for that reputation? and also the manager of the campaign is an important factor too.
goodluck on choosing campaign! Smiley

You could also based  on the  reputation of the selected  campaign manager because you could assume that  its a legit campaign when  those managers are reputable and handled already many legit sig campaigns that passed by unlike those  campaigns  handled by rare users which are quite suspicious at first sight. So you must be aware.
5516  Other / Off-topic / Re: Any safe way to grow my bitcoins ? on: August 24, 2016, 04:11:59 AM
I personally buy a fraction of a coin every week if it can be added into my budget just to increase my btc holdings. I only buy coins when I think that in this certain price range that I'm supposed to be buying, I'll get even 5% profit. If not, I skip for a week and hope for a nice entry point for next week. This is what I did during the whole year of 2015 and by July of this year, I gained more than triple of my investment since I bought heavily when the price is sleeping at $200-$220. Don't invest on gambling sites or gamble your money for a fast income. I suggest you avoid these two and go for the safer route to profit instead, which is buying at a low price and selling higher.

sometimes your strategy is not work, and that's time we must sell our coin. we must sell for buying at lower price.
last month i do it too. buying ethereum classic at 40.000 sat selling at 30.000 sat, buy back at 26,000 sat then selling at 37.000 sat Roll Eyes

It does not  work as always because  you need to have the exact entry on buying  coin. It also comes with luck because if you  enter to a wrong specific point then you would suffer such losses it really depends on decision making and analytic skills if  you saw that coins has a potential then its your tactic when to buy and when to sell.
5517  Other / Off-topic / Re: I will invest! on: August 24, 2016, 03:59:50 AM
You certainly will need a good investment plan and be aware that the crypto market,
even the btc/usd market, is still very volatile and therefore risky.

I will just trade the bitcoin with the Monero or Ethereum. When the ETH price is high, I will sell it. When the price is low, I will buy.

Ethereum does not seem to be growing after that attack on it... it just has been stable a bit or moved a bit high and came down again... and right now it is quite down but i dont know if it would be good to trade it so i would prefer some other coins beside that.

It is never bad for trading if someone has a good capital to start with, because the bigger you capital is the more profits you will earn even if the coin you are trading moves just 3% to 5% a day, because of you have a capital of 1btc so you will earn 0.05btc even if the coin just rises 5% on that day.

Well it is better if you are going to start with bitcoin trading for only you have small amount of capital on it. Or if you are going to invest higher it is better if you are going to allocate to other investment just like investing in casino's so that while you are on trading you are going to hope some profit and returns to your investment with casino.
Yes and I agree better to trade  I also earn profit in trading around 10$ per day if I'm lucky but sometimes lost. But its part of the risk we enter and always thinks that's its normally happen when we are in trading no sure profit so we take all risk to earn some amount.

Theres always a risk when you are involved in an investment such as trading theres no guarantee  you could gain profit everyday because  it depends on the  movements of price of such coin, you may gain profit sometimes and you may lose all the way and its normal but  we  can lessen those risk if we are already experienced traders and  already have a lot  of knowledge to it.
5518  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: August 24, 2016, 02:52:55 AM
Probably use them as normal cash. Trade them for USD and spend them. Investing is a thing I have never liked anyways.

Better you trade BTC or ETH. because both crypto has extraordinary growth and they may be competing and giving something that is best. La native I could've, so later the alternating red and white bende to decrease. the spirit of

It is better if you are going to invest in alt coins because that amount is going to be sufficient but I would say that don't invest that amount so that you are going to have another source of it. And maybe some part of it is going if you are going to build up your own mining farm and some of it is just going to the cold storage.
.
Building mining farm nowadays isnt profitable already unless if you have very very cheap electricity in your country then its possible would 10btc amount you could set up your own mining rigs but remember it still costly on the long run   regardless to its maintenance . Alt coin trading is good but be aware of those scam coins out there.
5519  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I earn much bitcoin? on: August 24, 2016, 02:49:17 AM
That's right, everyone needs to start something from bottom, and in the bitcoin the bottom is faucets where everyone starts their journey with bitcoin and later on when they learn other things they start earning better amounts of bitcoin and then they stop using faucets as they just seems a waste of time later on.
Yeah, for a newbie it's better to start from the bottom and not just try trading or signature campaign. Because then we will gain knowledge and experience. Although faucet worthless for us who already know another way to get bitcoin. But not necessarily in this way is not profitable for newbie, because when I was a newbie faucet is something special. hehe

I do agree with you, we always say that faucets are useless and such a waste of time because we are already veteran members and we know already how to earn much bigger amount compared to those faucets but  these faucets  really helped us in our journey especially  when  those time that we are just starting up  coz you would gain basic knowledge  with it.
5520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What keeps you coming back??? on: August 24, 2016, 02:44:12 AM
I do not gamble to much but it always seems that when I do, I take the loss big time.  For example, I have lost over 3 BTC in the BustaBit game online.  It is fun and I like to play but I always get greedy with it.  I have won about 2.2 BTC back, but I lost more than what I have won.  For some odd reason, I keep coming back over and over.  I do not know why I do it, why do you?
It is because you get addicted to it to the fact that you are very eager to win back what you have lost and that's bad. Very bad. Learn to control your self and stop when you have enough money than you lost from the other day. and when you lose, stop when you lost the one you are aware to lose. Not continue but stop.
i think the hope of making money compel people to gamble again and again, but every time most of the people become disappoint. but still people find it difficult to quit gambling  and that is called addicting.

this is the reason for great number of people but it is not the reason for all the people who are gambling.
many of gamblers are only gambling because of the thrill and enjoyment of the gambling itself not for the money and earning profit part which leads to addiction to gambling.

No, i disagree maybe there are few people doing some gambling games just for the sake of what you called fun but mostly for what i've see many people gamble's just to gain easy money or should we call it fast money, and i really see their greed and mingling some of them on some gambling sites. Many people keep saying that they are here just for fun but i dont believe really for their word because i only see when we play and gamble we share the same hopes and that is hope to win big money from it.

Thats right, some of gamblers  may say that thing over and over again but  when we are already in the game  those aim would definitely change even they said  to have fun but the motive of gaining  profit is always there. I really dont believe if theres someone  dont like to win if they are playing such games.
