What do you mean when you say Nxt is more a startup than a crypto ?

-------------

Please allow me to post a link here.

Monero use a new code and is quite complex for beginners.
I made a tutorial that I keep updated :

[ANN][MRO][HOW TO] Install GUI wallet & mine Monero on Windows
5522  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MRO] Monero - Anonymous Currency Based on Ring Signatures on: May 25, 2014, 09:02:46 AM
I completely changed the monero guide :

Already close to 20% of the network I think.
Recommend people to avoid joining this one if not there already and soio mine or use other pools.

Join http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/

simpleminer :
C:\path_to_simpleminer\simpleminer.exe --pool-addr=monero.crypto-pool.fr:1111 --login=your_address_here --pass x

minerd :
C:\path_to_minerd\minerd.exe -a cryptonight -o monero.crypto-pool.fr:6666 -u your_monero_address -t number_of_thread

Wink

Pour ceux qui miner sur notre pool .
Penser a switcher en stratum port 6666 avec la derniere version
https://github.com/LucasJones/cpuminer-multi

Je vais éditer mon tutoriel.

Donne moi la bonne commande.

simpleminer :
C:\path_to_simpleminer\simpleminer.exe --pool-addr=monero.crypto-pool.fr:6666 --login=your_address_here --pass x

minerd :
C:\path_to_minerd\minerd.exe -a cryptonight -o monero.crypto-pool.fr:6666 -u your_monero_address -t number_of_thread

Sur le site tu as parlé du port 1111 ?

My advice is to dump all the crap coins and think before investing.
5528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: May 24, 2014, 09:48:53 PM
The biggest issue in Cryptocurrency today is anonymity.

The only real anonymous technology is cryptonote.

Monero is the best of all cryptonote coins.

For this reason, Monero is the most important altcoin you should invest.

Experts agree with that.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583145.msg6918428#msg6918428

Ça marche à coup sûr.

je suis bien en 64 bits.
pour installer monero j'ai fait cela comme trouvé sur le site:
wget https://ottrbutt.com/monero/install_monero.sh && bash install_monero.sh

No I did not. I am having a look now. Although i did like the idea of using the CryptoNote-Easy-Miner

https://github.com/zone117x/cryptonote-easy-miner

As it seemed to do everything for you.

Right, I am preparing an update for my tutorial for cryptonote-easy-miner.

In the meantime you can try with simpleminer to see if you have any connection issue.

How clever your analysis is.

Thank you rpietila for considering Monero as the first altcoin that is worth it.

As you say, MRO is not the cheapest on the market but definitely a strong investment.

You suggest to mine it and you are right.

For everyone, I made a tutorial if you are new to CPU mining :

My suggestion is a reduction in the number of coins or altering of the reward curve.

Have to disagree.  The goal shouldn't be to have an "investment", its a currency for use as a tool.

I'd rather see trade-facilitation stuff built in, and a greater circulation - the value inherent in the coin will be driven by market uptake.  The reason BTC was successful initially is it was used for a large range of commercial transactions.. being able to spend it on goods/services created the demand and built the price.

Oh please...
MRO will be another low velocity, commodity crypto like all the others...
You wanna buy pizza with MRO?

I sell 1 pizza = 10K MRO
deal ?
