5521  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 14, 2013, 02:20:03 AM
Revert the withdrawal requests and send the btc back to the bitfunder account would not avoid the bitcoind problems?
And lower the withdrawal's waiting list for Ukyo, too.

I'd like it, so I could buy my last shares before the closure and help who just wants his btc back to get them sooner

That probably wouldnt help since the problem seems to be that bitcoind is checking thousands of bitcoin addresses if they have bitcoins in it to do a withdraw. So it doesnt matter how many withdraws are waiting.

I'm not saying unlocking funds on bitfunder from limbo would fix bitcoind issues, but if Ukyo is processing tickets in chronological order, popping withdrawals from the waiting list will shift all the widrawals made later.
Or to revert a withdrawal request is not possible? The transfers between weexchange and bitfunder are always instantaneous, so seem like virtual passages. And hadn't Ukyo mentioned he could have canceled withdrawals to input.io?

He can cancel withdraws instantly.

The bitcoins at bitfunder arent at bitfunder. Weexchange keeps them all the time. They arent moved really.

The waiting list shouldnt be nothing really problematic. Its only 200 or so requests. Thats nothing for a database. It makes practically no difference to take a withdraw out because it was done manually.

5524  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: November 14, 2013, 12:57:31 AM
Maybe you send me 16 of these since you never sent me the 16 Gen 1 chips you owe me.

Unless you have shipping info for me???
You did not paid handling tax, so regular mail ..
It will get to you when it get to you

Its been 23 days, where are you located Mars?

Bulgaria EU.
Just regular post.
If you do not get them in the next 7 days
I'll send again from my personal chips.
Please stay on topic

Thats why i only ship with tracking. Regular post as registered letter to add tracking. Too dangerous otherwise.
5525  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder] Ukyo please process the withdraw request. on: November 14, 2013, 12:51:11 AM
There are 2 threads about this already. One in original weexchange thread and one here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=316546

You dont await it will move faster with a new thread or didnt you look around before posting?

Yes, I did look that post, but I was must hoping uKyo could response to this post, and deal with the problem.

He is doing manual withdraws slowly and tries to fix bitcoind which seems not to be easy. That didnt change in the last days.
5526  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 13, 2013, 09:11:16 PM
any hope/eta on fixing automatic withdrawals? I would rather you to focus more time on that then manualy doing this as it will take you till 2015 to process everything by hand

I guess it wont be so easy since ukyo is working on this since weeks already. Manual withdraw only works every 20-30 minutes and all the other time he can work on it. On top... if it would be easy then other real bitcoind devs would have solved this already.

------BEGIN-------
Sent some shares over Ken. Smiley Hope it is not too late.
2013-11-13 14:21:39   Send Transfer To: AMC-TENDER
ActiveMining: 2,046 Share/s
Also sent you the same amount of Bitpride shares by mistake XD You can keep them if you like.

Signatures shouldnt be posted in public until its ensured no one other could use the signature to claim its his address. Yo used a specific text for the matter but now any other could send this signature to ken too. Its better to keep such things private. Normally i would await ken is asking for a message to sign anyway.
5528  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 13, 2013, 08:40:52 PM
Of course no new withdraws are working.
I have stated over and over that bitcoind is in a constant state of non-use by the system because it either in startup/wallet loading mode, or locked up due to the latest transfer request.

Let me repeat again.
During startup, bitcoind does not respond to RPC calls.
Once it is up, I make a transfer. The moment I make the transfer, no matter what hardware is provided, it goes to 100% resources and fails to respond to any RPC requests, even after the transaction eventually makes it to the network.

-Ukyo

But you doesnt explain with it that manual withdraws stopped working right?
5529  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 07:30:52 PM
I mean you still have time.

What did you mean when you said you were unable to tender?

The time limit being UNTIL today, which as I understand it would be 23:59:59 12/11/13.

14th

For some reason ken wants it to be done till 13th. And he didnt mention when exactly, what timezone and so on.
5530  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 13, 2013, 07:24:10 PM
Im back to where i was before... only at the end of queue. ukyo canceled my withdraw because of my stupid request he should do it in case "he cant withdraw". Because it would have been better to have shares than bitcoins i cant use. I noticed that cancellation way too late because no email was sent about it and now the time was too short to buy the things at bitfunder i wanted. Back into queue and wait again.

ukyo... whats the date of withdraws you work on and how many withdraw requests are still open now?

Hm... didnt thought that. I referred to "didnt pay" what i dont understand why they didnt. And its read as "pay" that i dont understand why they should. Its maybe how you worth words in sentences and might be different. Strange, but i see it can be misread.

Sebastian: mainly, in modern informal English just use 'would' almost everywhere you were taught to use 'should' Smiley

Use 'should' only when you want to explicitly convey a sense of obligation (sollen) e.g. ("He should do that" = "Er sollte dass tun")

Nope, that is an absolute classic German problem when you speak English. This is always completely misinterpreted because the English use of "should" is very different than german "Sollte."

It is absolutely, without a doubt, "would" in English, while you would use "sollte" in German Wink

Thanks... ill try to remember this...
5534  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 13, 2013, 12:42:20 AM
kslaugther... why is the deadline for sending the shares to amc-tender tomorrow when we have another half month time with bitfunder? I wante do buy some more shares. So what happens if i miss the date to move my shares to amc-tender?
5535  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 12, 2013, 09:25:02 PM
kslaughter... eAsic doesnt do all the parts involved right? So these parts shouldnt be under NDA. So can you say something about the development of the miner, the hosting and more? Is everything ready yet?
5536  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 12, 2013, 08:47:23 PM
ukyo please specify when exactly trading stops at bitfunder. Start of 14th, end of 14th, somewhere on 14th or after 14th? Whats the last chance to trade and what timezone do you use for it?
5537  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 12, 2013, 08:36:30 PM
Is there a problem with the BF security certificate right now?

No padlock on site - Identity not Verified.

same for me,

ukyo , will it be soon fixed?

I was asked to accept a free certificate. I accepted since i doubt ukyo will pay for a real one when bitfunder is short before closing. I only could login later after i deleted all domain cookies with webdeveloper.
5538  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: November 12, 2013, 04:43:24 PM
I wonder what Ken is going to do when customers start bitching about a missed shipping deadline.. I bet he thinks "if BFL got away with it, I will too", and is already kickin back his feet without a care in the world.

First of all every customer has their own deadline when they ordered. Not every customer is expecting their hardware in November.

Anyway I am sure Ken has everything under control.

Have you ever talked to him on the phone?  I have.. he sounds like a complete fucking moron who doesn't have a clue what he's doing.  Don't take my word for it though.. call him and find out for yourself.

I dont know ken but how far goes the involvement of eAsic in there? Include it the creation of the miner, hosting and so on? If not ken should be able to speak about these parts since its not under NDA.
5539  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 12, 2013, 03:31:53 PM
You guys should check your weexchange tickets. It looks like i got an answer 6 days ago already without noticing because i didnt receive an email about that. Wasnt in spamfolder either.

I should have checked weexchange more regularly though i didnt await that i dont see an email for a ticket response.
5540  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bitfunder]&[WeExchange] WARNING! The Fall of Ukyo! on: November 12, 2013, 02:17:32 PM
I'm not sure if you realize it, but Bitcoin-Qt is just a wrapper for bitcoind, essentially.

Oh... never heard about this. I thought bitcoind is a different software. The more i wonder that it still has such bugs.

However... if bitcoind now allows a transaction per 20 to 50 minutes then bitcoind has to be able to send bulk transactions too. Did you try this for maybe 10 transactions in one rush? If this works it already could mean 10 times faster withdraws.

Is there no alternative wallet software that can handle this big amount of bitcoin addresses better?

200 withdraws are left only? Should be doable in 5 days then. But the mention that tickets take priority is puzzling me. I wrote a ticket in octobre... and later i stupidly asked to cancel my withdraw when you cant withdraw it so that i could put my bitcoins into shares instead. *sniff* So my time came and it was cancelled. It would have been better i got the bitcoins and could have send a part back to weexchange so i could invest otherwhere too outside of bitfunder.
Hm... maybe i can move shares to someone and get bitcoins instead.

ukyo... i can imagine what burden this is. Keep going and try to find the best solution. I now have to recheck my options.
