5521  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Strange website /cryptocoines.com SCAM? on: May 22, 2019, 11:23:48 AM
This is nothing new, it is continuously popping out in the altcoin discussion after some days of interval. I had reported couple of times even. This user is a scammer no doubt, if you even play a roulette, you would still win big hand.
5522  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to earn money here on: May 22, 2019, 11:20:22 AM
If you really want to make money from here, you can go to Bounty: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
You are referring to the worst way of earning from here. Bounty isn't a good source of income because it will now give almost nothing despite a lot of work in social media and reports.

Not all I guess, there are few of the bounty that pays, but in general their situation is bad.
New trend now would be bounty on coins under IEO, that would be nice, harmony bounty is a good example, they will be in Binance launchpad, a sure money for the bounty hunters.

hello friend
how I earn money from bitcointalk? how I earn bitcoin? please help me friend.

First step, read the forum rules, then read the suggestions here.
But this requires you to complete the KYC verification you know. So, almost all the IEO bounty will require KYC verification which will not be a good idea to participate, at least I would not do that.
5523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOW I BECAME A GAMBLER on: May 22, 2019, 11:14:36 AM
To me, gambling is an entertainment. I do win and lose but if I sum up then I can tell you that I am not in profit financially nor in much loss.

Gambling as a profession is not gonna happen to me.
Not true for a lot of man here. Most think it as an easy of earning some passive income despite the risk of losing everything. It's entertainment to me as well. I occasionally or sometimes gamble 1 or 2 hour max.
5524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble or think it's a waste of money and time? on: May 22, 2019, 11:10:31 AM
whether its trading or gambling without knowing what we are doing and dont no how much money we are risking and we lose its waste of money only do gambling wisely we can gain money easily in gambling
I don't know what you have meant by wisely. Is it an indication of gambling with strategy? I can't remember if anyone here have had a good strategy which is proven and had made some good profits.
5525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOW I BECAME A GAMBLER on: May 22, 2019, 11:06:43 AM
I have been introduced with this shit when i was introduced with cryptocurrency.
Your story is quite common. Most people look for money and as a result, they get introduced with gamble. That's traditional. However, it should never be an addiction.
5526  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops on: May 22, 2019, 11:00:41 AM
Airdrops don't require KYC, I have never seen till now. <…>
Some do. See: AIRDROPS ASKING FOR KYC VERIFICATION

In the thread they mention a couple of cases:

<…>Polymath gave out 250 tokens on airdrop for kyc (it was 1.5$ at each in that time) and eximchain gave 500$ worth of tokens for a kyc still it was because ico cancelled and was a gift for people who whitelisted. <…>

Who else here join and complete a KYC in blockchain.com for the $25 Stellar Giveaway?

And these $25 can come a long way in some countries that willing to sell their identity for $25 USD.

blockchain.com is a legit business entity but still it carries some possible risk of hacking and  leaking out millions of ID's and Passports.
This is worst, I have seen lots of people are claiming the reward from blockchain.com with verifying their identity. I would rather die than giving my identity to anyone else, no matter how much the reward is.
The above examples are a bit exceptional, but even so, the risks of identity theft should outweigh the potential (low value) reward.

5528  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Don't use web wallet on: May 21, 2019, 10:02:46 PM
I am using coinbase for small amount but I have not face any problem still now. Coinbase taking bit longer time to show your balance on dashboard. But I don't think they will make any trouble for such as small amount. I am not encouraging to use it, just sharing my experiences. Coinbase return fund even they decide to closed your account, not just like closed account with funds. However, web wallet not much secure so better to use wallet with private key. Especially for big amount or if you want to hold for longer then should be use wallet with privet key.
Trust me mate, I would not worry much if the amount is a big one, it would be handle in a short time.
I'm not worry now because I know it's a bug only. But still it's a bit odd, isn't it?
From now, I'm not going to use any of these wallet for a tiny amount even.
5529  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Don't use web wallet on: May 21, 2019, 04:50:55 PM
It's more than 36 hours when I sent them text and still no reply. Should I contact their support once again or wait for their response for 1 more day?

I agree that web-wallets aren't that secure. But they still can't hide your transaction.  Roll Eyes
Blockchain is open to everyone, but the dashboard maintained by them isn't open or isn't controlled by us. Maybe you got me wrong.
5530  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Don't use web wallet on: May 20, 2019, 05:15:55 PM
The payment was from Bitvest campaign made by Hhampuz and I have been receiving payment for at least 15 weeks.
I have received the payment notification through my email, the transaction is confirmed(coinbase requires 6 confirmation). So, it's a bug, anyway, I intended to encourage people stop using those.
The amount is a few satoshis and I have stated that they might be sent the amount later. But, why do I have to continue with this. It's my satoshi, and there will be my rules, let's use self wallet, no web wallet.

And most important-
Don't use any web wallet to store your BTC.
Here is what I have faced recently with the most reputed exchange and kind of web wallet coinbase- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5145338.msg51139754#msg51139754

Fuck Coinbase & Sally @ Coinbase!

 Grin
Imagine I received the deposit notification but no balance added? I instantly changed myself and I am no loner using any web wallet. This is the same we are giving responsibility to bank for keeping our fund and we have to take the hassle if anything happen.
Quote
Use electrum, be the controller of your fund.
5534  Economy / Web Wallets / Don't use web wallet on: May 20, 2019, 02:53:10 PM
Most of the newbies are likely to use Coinbase or blockchain.com for receiving payment. I am gonna share a true story with you. Don't use this anymore.

I have been participating in a signature campaign managed by Hhampuz and I used coinbase BTC address to receive payment. Today, when I received the payment, I got a notification email, but there was no pending transaction in my dashboard. It wasn't even been added to my balance.
Short story-
The transaction was checked by me in block explorer, everything was okay, I even received notification of deposit but no BTC was added to my balance, no record was found on my dashboard.
i have contacted with them, no reply. They may have returned me the payment tomorrow or later, no guarantee though but why do I have to take so much hassle?

We have electrum.
We have electrum android.

Stop using web wallet and/or centralized wallet and/or any exchange.

Update-
After more than 60 hours, coinbase refund me. I thank their support although it was a bit late. I wouldn't mind to use coinbase but occasionally.
5535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin Bullrun on: May 19, 2019, 10:24:49 PM
Back in 2017, BTC hit the ATH at December but all the altcoin hit ATH later in January 10 or so. Do you think, market will face an altcoin pump soon? If so, the right time to invest is now.
at the moment the pump looks very clear especially for bitcoin regarding year 2017 I am sure that moments like year 2017 will repeat in this year, price of all coins reaches the top so it's not wrong to start investing now
Bitcoin is back now again, I thought bitcoin will be stable for couple of weeks more. However, that's a good sign and our bitcoin portfolio is being more strong. I think altcoin bullrun will happen after BTC bull.
5536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tottenham Vs LiverPool UEFA Final on: May 19, 2019, 10:20:08 PM
I'd better guess Bitcoin's price tomorrow rather than a winner between these two! Guessing Bitcoin's price would be easier ! Tongue
(Though both cases seem close to impossible to guess)
I don't think so. Liverpool is way more stronger than Tottenham and their latest performance was too good. In addition,  Firminho is back which is good news.
I think Liverpool will win at 2-1 or 3-1 win for Liverpool.
5537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 37,000 Investors Await Refunds from ‘Illegal’ $90 Million Envion ICO on: May 19, 2019, 10:09:00 PM
If I can remember correctly, this was a news in my local newspaper. That is how cryptocurrency image is gking to be lost. Media too represents the news in a very worse way which distract people from cryptocurrency.
5538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO you think ICO websites help investors to choose best ICO to participate? on: May 19, 2019, 10:05:13 PM
In my opinion, the ICO website is important to give consideration in choosing the right ICO. With this website, we can determine the right ICO because through the website we can get complete information about ICO. Information on the website must be considered because now there are laws about websites and social media. We can trust this website. All information that we get from the website can make us more stable or even unstable in joining the ICO.
No, they don't give a correct rating which is why it will be foolish to trust their site. They ask for money to provise rating to ICO. Paid rating always get the better rating. So, you must neglect them if you don't want to get ripped off.
5539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Name Some Quality Exchanges? on: May 19, 2019, 10:01:39 PM
Binance is a good one however, I think you are shilling for nauticas, I have seen hundreds of post on it.
Anyway, Kucoin is better than most of the top rated exchange because they care about customer much.
5540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunters the cause of token dumping ? on: May 19, 2019, 09:59:19 PM
Some hold for long time when some don't. It's simple, in a market, you can't expect same behavior from all of its participants. There's nothing to blame them. I would say its DEV team who didn't give a fuck to the bounty amount and made it available to everyone.
