5521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Article on Bitcoin in my Local Newspaper!! on: December 29, 2016, 01:52:30 PM
India has more than 1B people living there but more than half are too poor to contribute anything to bitcoin but still a few hundreds of millions are something. which countries are not allowing it's people to use bitcoins? because I think governments around the world wouldn't even mention bitcoin to avoid their people to know about it in the first place.
5522  Economy / Speculation / Re: when do you think this rise is going to slow down/stop? on: December 29, 2016, 01:13:28 PM
Bitcoin has a history of repeated bubbles - though each bubble peaks much higher than the previous bubble.

We've had five so far.

Based on the past, we might get to $1500 before it pops.

The following excellent article explores this further:

https://medium.com/@mcasey0827/speculative-bitcoin-adoption-price-theory-2eed48ecf7da#.lc6fzjqyu
What type of car is in your mind? I know it's a bubble but the same bubble is the reason for the rise and people knowing there is a price bubble causes even more inflation but when the big holders enter for big profit they start to sell in bulks that is when the bubble starts to shrink but never explodes.
5523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Play with your profit or not? on: December 29, 2016, 12:59:21 PM
When you guys are gambling and already doubled your bankroll, do you still play with the whole money you got or you take away half of your bankroll and start playing with your profit or not?
I don't. I prefer withdrawing my initial bankroll once I doubled it and just play with the remaining coins that I have one. I like to play safe when I am gambling and I do not like risking all the money once I know that I already have won.

This is best especially if you martingale plus, the waiting time for depo and withdrawal can help too, because the tendency of betting higher amounts grows when you win a decent amount at first but lose in the long run.

What if you changed seed or something, does it help? I am still having trouble winning profit, I have negative profit and been trying different strategies. I sometimes become greedy resulting to some loss but not all so I could possibly recover from it but in the long run, I still think that I'm going to lose.
The thing about gambling is that you should never play it as a daily hobby because you'll bet a few times and then lose more than you win and that way you'll never win anything at all but gambling should be considered as one time double or nothing taking the chances .
If people were to spend time on strategies and calculating stuff then better to do it to earn money in things other than gambling.
5524  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] | 🔥 Bitmixer.io Signature Campaign 🔥 | Earn up to 0.035 BTC/week on: December 29, 2016, 12:04:23 PM
I think no post in alternate cryptocurrencies rule is a joke right? you want people to submit nearly 50 posts weekly and fighting against spam as well but can you do it yourself? I know this is bitcoin mixer but there are many people in altcoin sections that using bitcoin as well.

edit, I just think that they are losing many good opportunities for excluding altcoin sections since half of this forum's activity is in there.
5525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "We got hacked" coming ! on: December 29, 2016, 11:57:16 AM
It's usually the cloud mining services that run away when bitcoin price rises as much as it did in past 15 days.
I don't know why people ever keep their coins in exchanges like they are banks?
And hacking exchanges is not an easy task unless there is an inside job.
5526  Economy / Services / Re: Byteball Signature Campaign(Under new management) on: December 28, 2016, 12:50:29 AM
Confirming that I've received the amount of 0.0275BTC for seventh and final week of byteball signature and avatar campaign. thank you again admin and manager.
And for the record if I said something it was only to acknowledge yahoo62278's trustworthiness and point to the future admins of any campaign that they should use him as manager as well as the funding escrow.
5527  Economy / Services / Re: Byteball Signature Campaign(Under new management) on: December 27, 2016, 08:53:16 PM
I do not know why you are in a hurry even it's still tuesday based on bitcointalk forum, just be patient and I'm sure yahoo62278 will send the funds after he online again.
I'm not in any hurry and manager never had the funds otherwise he is trusted enough to be considered as escrow.
5528  Economy / Services / Re: Byteball Signature Campaign(Under new management) on: December 27, 2016, 07:59:23 PM
This is the reason when I always ask for escrow Smiley
5529  Other / Off-topic / Re: This scientist re-wires frogs to grow extra limbs. Could it work in humans? on: December 27, 2016, 10:34:37 AM
Can I have an extra thingy or just an extra brain please? lolz.

One question, if everything is done by our brains like when I touch something my body sends signals to my brain and I feel it and the same feeling I am experiencing is registering as electricity moving in my brain, so how do I really feel? shouldn't brain sends something to me? oh wait all I feel and do is happening in my brain but am I my brain?
The person now is typing and sees and hears and feels, where is this person exactly? if when I touch my brain lights up and again upon feeling that touch my brain lights up and I feel it the same time.

If my brain is doing all the sending and receiving then where do I fit in here?
5530  Economy / Services / Re: FORTUNEJACK - Earn up to 0.2BTC - NEW Signature Campaign - Weekly Payments on: December 27, 2016, 07:39:27 AM
I'm available to participate if there is any open slot please let me know.
5531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to fork bitcoin in the future? on: December 26, 2016, 08:10:53 AM
a hard fork (or sometimes hardfork) is a radical change to the protocol that makes previously invalid blocks/transactions valid (or vice-versa), and as such requires all nodes or users to upgrade to the latest version of the protocol software.

The real danger is that the blockchain will split into two parallel blockchains. Miners, merchants, users (via wallets and other software), etc. that did not upgrade will support/use blockchain A and miners, merchants, users, etc. that did upgrade will support/use blockchain B.

Effectively there are now two bitcoin blockchains. The bitcoins that you had before the fork will exist in both blockchains A and B (they doubled!). A simplified example would be that: You can use your bitcoins from an old wallet and buy something from a merchant that uses old nodes. Then you can use a new wallet and buy something from a merchant that uses the new nodes with the same bitcoins. This is not even double spend since the chains are different.

However, what this also means is that the bitcoin users and community are also split. Each blockchain instead of having X nodes (the nodes before the split) that keep it secure will have X/2 nodes. Several merchants accept bitcoin but some accept version A and some version B... and so on. This is not user-friendly and it will cause much confusion. Something like that will shatter trust in the bitcoin network causing its price to diminish. Fear of future hard forks (splits) will diminish trust (and price) even more. So people will lose money indirectly since the value of bitcoin will more than likely tank

Given the entire Ethereum debacle in REAL practice where an apparent 90%+ of the network agreed with the change and we are still here with ETH losing more than half its value and ETH Classic in existence. We should tread very lightly when approaching this conversation for a digital asset which has far more value / adoption & ramification than Ethereum.

I would prefer we use Soft Forks where possible and move towards a system like Core has done with SegWit.
I know exactly what you are talking about, but now who really has the ability to change the protocol and fork it? if it is consensus and must be agreed upon by several developers then who are they? and when and if it ever forks then who will be controlling the A blockchain? obviously the ones forking will continue to control the B blockchain. if ETH is being controlled by the foundation then who has the key to ETC?
5532  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] eGaaS: Electronic Government as a Service on: December 26, 2016, 07:54:42 AM
I think egaas will be listed a few years from now when ICO ends, notice ICO not ICOs lol you remember Iconomi? some exchange site even started to open trade before ICO was over but for this one there has not been any mentions or updates whatsoever from team, but again I don't know the team's forum accounts. Smiley.
5533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's best alternative on: December 26, 2016, 02:37:17 AM
Honestly though when you think about it there is no real alternative to bitcoin and I don't see why people try to even invest in anything but bitcoin?
Whenever any cryptocurrency had more than $5b marketcapital you could certainly depend on it and switch your funds and hash power.
ETH was rising above $1b but sadly now has only $600m marketcap.
5534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins worth investing on: December 26, 2016, 02:04:00 AM
If people are buying more into ETH then we should see some rising in price, I need to admit that Iconomi had a nice growth in last month and will rise even more imo as we approach the dividends date which is in 2017.
ByteBall is something that requires some more attentions.
DASH and MONERO are going upward in price unlike ETH.
LTC is also rising.
5535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Future on: December 26, 2016, 01:54:53 AM
I do agree that there needs more to be available bitcoin related but know everything costs money and people usually put their skills to develop scam coins. who really should do it? it's a currency not a carnival Cheesy.
5536  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Aliens found on the moon on: December 26, 2016, 01:48:13 AM
I've heard of a three eyed female found on moon even have seen the footage with all the things attached to her mouth nose and forehead claiming that it was for navigating the spaceship even there was an broken down huge spaceship shown from moon's orbit.
Also there are claims of a city belonging to nazi and it is located on the dark side of the moon.
5537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ICN (Iconomi) perform well if ETH is crashing? on: December 25, 2016, 11:19:19 PM
Is ETH mining still profitable or not even with the recent dump? if yes then there is no problem for Iconomi to stay on ETH chain but if ETH really crashes due to changing to POS and goes under $4 I think ICN should change to another blockchain if wants to stay alive.
5538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the wallet the key to coin success? on: December 25, 2016, 11:14:15 PM
Wallet= bank account, though as there are so many banks in the world and each one has it's own features and usability therefor we should have as many wallets in crypto Smiley also a wallet must have mining capability without the need for a pool.
I don't get it, how can newly developed altcoins have a pool from the start? people suppose to solo mine them first and then when difficulty increased they create pools.

Most of the wallets in crypto are bitcoin's clone.
5539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Jingle bells on: December 25, 2016, 11:03:52 PM
I don't know if we could talk about leocoin since it's not really a thing Smiley ETH could rise as easy as it dumped to $7 and for LTC I must say that if it goes to $5 and above some people going to profit a lot and I might even get into it myself Smiley.
About zcash I have no comment Cheesy.

Happy new year!
5540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best places to set up ETH wallet online (not on your computer) on: December 25, 2016, 09:47:44 PM
One that I used myself with ease and no problem at all was myetherwallet.com and I don't know any other site providing the same service but I know there are more but not recommending them.
