I don't see the point in this culture of sacking managers after a bad loss or a run of poor form. I'm not sure what's expected of Ollie/Man U but they're not the best team in the league any more. In fact they're probably not even top 3. Getting into the CL league should be seen as a huge success for them given the quality that's in the league right now and finishing second last year should be good enough for Ollie. Whoever manages them will probably just have the same problems as the last few mangers but I'm sure if a big manger like Zidane showed interest they'd snap him up.
I am also against sacking managers prematurely but I feel like Ole has lost the dressing room. Add to that the fact that united has no game at all plus the most expensive defensive line in whole PL and most goals conceded in PL. Not hundred percent sure previous statement is true but I sort of feel like I read that data somewhere, not feeling like googling it, close to truth for sure  Second place finish last season was great result and I also agree CL qualification should be their target this season, 4th position is the maximum they can get unless something totally unexpected strikes one of top 3 teams, City, Chelsea and LFC. |

I'm afraid I already have Napoli on a martingale to lose, so heh, tonight I have to bet against them. Good thing the odds are actually pretty decent so I don't actually have to double down (martingale to ensure I win my stake and increasing profit is all). 11/1 feels like a bit of a disservice to Bologna with exactly 3 wins/draws/losses each.
I'll hedge with a HT Napoli win. If they win again, they'll do it early.
Don't care who wins as long as they both score  It is even paying @1.95 which sounds like a real value to me. Hopefully the bookies will give something back after the bloodbath yesterday. |

Barca losing to Rayo was was the last nail, and Koeman finally got sacked. Really hope it is true this time, should be since my local source cites Barcelona official decision. Not sure who will be willing to take over the bench in this situation. It seems like very risky job with many pitfalls and very small chance of success since success for club like Barca is measured only with titles and they are not ready for that. Yes, of course. An early defeat for Hurkacz is the ideal situation for Norrie, as they are fighting each other for the last spot in the ATP Finals. I think Sinner has come back into contention too, but really it's between these three. FAA is too far back, and doesn't have time to make up the points difference. Here I am, hoping that Murray continues his come back and wins another match today. Funny thing I never liked him when he was on the top and now I am cheering for him to come back to the top Alcaraz was in great form earlier this season but he dropped off a little lately. He is also very experienced playing indoors so that should be enough for Murray. I even backed him with ML bet today, it was decent @1.6 odds. |

I am looking forward to Barca game tonight and I am quite sure it will be another tough game for them. Rayo is in a good form and I expect them to score, Barca should also be good for at least a one goal so my favorite BTTS is in play here.
I understand that supporters are pissed but it is not ok to harass Koeman. Man paid couple of M from his own pocket to get out of his previous contract so he could come to Barca. If that is true and I believe it is, he deserves every cent of his contract.

Honestly, if they haven't sacked him after losing to their biggest rivals by the biggest margin in their history, I doubt he's going to get sacked anytime soon. I'd put money on him lasting the season at least, if you take a look at Gary Neville on the post match discussions, he's trying his hardest not to throw Ole under the bus, and I'm wondering if the Glazers are trying to be cautious about sacking a Manchester United icon, after the back lash they've received recently.
Though, to be honest most fans would probably support him getting the sack despite being a icon.
You have a point here, if they have not sacked him after loosing 5:0 to Liverpool at home, they don't plan to do it anytime soon. This was a perfect opportunity and I don't think any fan would give them problems after performance like that, no matter him being an icon. It is not just the result, United simply does not have a game to play against top clubs and with the players and budget under Ole disposition that is unforgivable. There is no shame in loosing to LFC, but loosing 5:0 almost without a fight... |

While I was in the competition and I was doing those checks I noticed that lists are sometimes incomplete. I guess it depends on time when we are fulfilling out 5 mBTC wager and list is probably generated at least twice a day. There was a day when most of participants had 6 days on the list and maybe 10 of us including me had 5. I thought we screwed something and got eliminated but it was business as usual next day with all of us on 7. Could be an error from SB part as well and user complaining and manually getting back in the competition. |

Red je spomenuti i one koji su zasluzni za odrzavanje naseg boarda aktivnim (ja sam tu gadno podbacio sa samo 6 napisanih postova, sto mi je negativan rekord). Ne treba uopce sumnjati tko je na vrhu liste, ni tko ce biti na vrhu slijedece, pogotovo jer je open upao u kampanju.  Bome si gadno podbacio s brojem postova ovaj mjesec, ali ako ti je tih 6 otprilike iste dužine kao i ovaj možda imaš isti broj rječi kao i mi smrtnici s vrha liste, tu naravno ne brojim alfu i omegu slackovica Stvarno je lijepo vidjeti tako visok merit ratio, šteta što ga nismo imali dok je puno nas lovilo rankove, bilo bi postova i merita na bacanje. |

All season long predictions by default favor conservative/safe picks, it all evens out in the long run and favorites are favorites with reason. Upsets can get you weekly yellow cap but in the long run they will cost you. That being said, correct scores are a lottery and it comes down to having luck to convert a couple of those close scores to correct scores. That is usually the step that kills my rank. I get decent amount of results and more than average close scores but I never get those correct scores.
But shouldn't you always reward the aberration? Even in fantasy football, the winners tend to be the ones who saw value and form more than the ones who have the Ronaldos and Messis in the team. Return to the mean is one of the laws of football (one I believe in slightly anyway heh) but I do feel like if Superbru implemented a weighting system for points -- e.g. the more unexpected your prediction, the more points they're worth, then it'd encourage a little bit more risk-taking. With the current 1, 1.5 and 3 points being the multiplier for the points. Like you said, problem now is correct scores are pure lottery (and anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves). So that's all we're encouraged to do. Pick the favourite outcome so we're not left out of the pack and leave it to chance to see who's got the closest to the mark. Yeah you should reward those bigger odds somehow but it is not that simple. If you reward them properly, meaning multiplying with the odds in some way, you end up almost with betting. You could reward it like one extra point if your ML choice has odds over 3, and 2 extra points if it has odds over 6 but it complicates the game even further and i have a feeling Superbru is about ease of use and attracting the masses. Disregard about Fantasy, there is almost no team in PL Fantasy that is without Salah, you can get few differentials correct and if you did not captain Salah you would still be behind. Fantasy rewards template teams and getting on bandwagons early. That way you are always close to the top and your team value is constantly growing. Time for differentials is in last couple of game weeks when you try to clinch that top spot in your mini league. |

Superbru's designed to reward conservative picks... the slam points especially, just grind out results and get slam points and they add up. Last 3 seasons I had high exact scores, high upset picks, but huge deficit of slam points.
That said, we're barely 25% into the season and it's a slippery slope once you have a bad week. I agree. Finding the draws are what's going to make the difference. And this pool's only getting more and more competitive!
