There are a few ideas why they don't want to allow smaller base bets with flashbet. I for one think it can be used against the casino because flashbet massively multiplies your profits with a carefully designed martingale strategy. With simple autobet your profits per unit of time will be small, close to minuscule and not worth it. But now imagine that you can speed up the entire process by a few thousand times. It suddenly starts to make sense, as well as makes sense to prevent gamblers from exploiting this opportunity
1 sat is unfortunately not enough to construct a proper Martingale strategy unless you are focusing on only 20 consecutive losses or lower. I have seen 30+ consecutive losses which is why even 1 sat minimum bet wouldn't be feasible.

However, positive progressive strategies like Oscar's Grind, D'Alembert etc could work even with the 10 sats minimum bet if luck sides with you.

Gamblers could have a tough time implementing any of these strategies in flash betting due to the limited options available.

How that's a big risk if England team come to Pakistan and that too at the end of 2021. By that time the situation will be under control and the vaccine may be available.
However i think the England team should visit even before to Pakistan because recently many international players visited Pakistan to play the PSL and everyone is safe due to excellent safety environment for the visitors.
I thought they would be touring Pakistan early 2021 which is why I thought that way. Nov 2021 seems like a relatively safe period to tour the country since the vaccines from companies like Pfizer etc will probably be available globally by then.

However, any terrorist threats before the tour would most likely put the series in jeopardy though I hope nothing happens.
5543  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITRUN - PREDICT THE PRICE OF BITCOIN AND WIN BITCOIN on: November 19, 2020, 12:42:20 PM
Is like a gambling "the predicting" but winning real bitcoins!
Obviously. You predict whether BTC will rise or fall in price within a minute interval and you win or lose based on your prediction. You play with real money.

I was kinda bit tight with my gambling bankroll and that 0.001 is a little bit big for 1 bet and i can't even run a martingale strategy for a long time with that.
They should have provided a way lower minimum bet from the beginning. Who would want to play with such a high minimum bet especially when BTC is rallying constantly at present? Instead, I could stick with Crash on other sites where minimum bet is just a couple of satoshis.

Surprising news for the Pakistan fans.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/m.timesofindia.com/sports/cricket/news/england-decision-to-tour-pakistan-a-massive-moment-for-cricket/amp_articleshow/79287290.cms

I didn't expect this at all(Especially considering the pandemic wreaking havoc at present). The vaccine will probably be available globally during the 1st half of next year which is why I am surprised to see England take a big risk due to the cases piling up in Pakistan.
5545  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITRUN - PREDICT THE PRICE OF BITCOIN AND WIN BITCOIN on: November 18, 2020, 09:19:51 PM
It is completely different game, you cant compare it to crash game.
It is a binary option where you need to predict what will happen with the price in the next specific period of time.
Knowledge and trading skill is involved in this game (unless someone predict it blindly) while crash game is just pure luck based game.
Nonsense. Predicting BTC price within a minute has nothing to do with skill and is also purely luck based just like Crash. Do you think gamblers can complete a shit ton of research on BTC price by analysing candlestick data etc within a minute?

Just ask day traders and you will understand how difficult it is to predict cryptocurrency prices in the short term and long term thanks to the volatility factor.

This is why HODLING is usually recommended when compared to other trading methods in the crypto community due to the low stress and higher success percentages involved.
5546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 1x2 vs the correct score bets on: November 18, 2020, 06:29:28 PM
The biggest point that everyone here failed to mention is the liquidity differences between both markets. The 1x2 markets usually support way higher liquidities when compared to correct score markets for obvious reasons.

Most punters never seriously bet on correct score markets since no amount of research makes predicting them easier. However, it's easier to predict live correct score markets though the odds would be lower.
5547  Economy / Economics / Re: Mexico's billionaire invests in Bitcoin on: November 18, 2020, 04:26:57 PM
I think majority of his investment is black money though this is just an assumption. Either way, this is good for BTC adoption overall. However, I think he would recover his investment the moment the markets bleed later on.

He is probably experiencing FOMO just like many other traders right now. I feel like the price might settle closer to $13K-$15K in the coming months organically.
5548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: November 18, 2020, 12:51:23 PM
That's when I would payout, if I were a betting site. The probability of Trump's winning is low, but not zero. It's still risky right now to payout Biden bettors. What if Trump wins? Would it be possible to collect the money back? No.

Btw, who else, apart from freebitco.in, is still keeping those bets on pending? I personally know only one such site, I mean, freebitco.in. And I think they are doing it right.
Sites like Sportsbet, Stake etc are being lauded for paying quickly which is the right choice. Freebitco etc are being criticised by many gamblers. Who the heck would want to wait for months for their winnings when the result is loud and clear?

Also, Trump's chances of flipping the result are literally zero. What makes you think it isn't zero? The projections and official results match perfectly. Recounting, cries for fraud etc will change nothing.

Minimum bet of 10 sats makes flash betting pretty much pointless for martingale gamblers who focus on long losing streaks. Regular betting is better in comparison in my opinion.

Wolf.bet offers very low minimum bets in certain games which is why I expected the same from flash bets, but that was clearly not the case. It makes sense though since gamblers could beat the house in certain cases if the minimum bet was lower.

10 sats might seem like dust, but that can amount to something significant over the course of 2k bets.
5550  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 18, 2020, 07:55:52 AM
I respect both but the sportsbet settled my bet on Gerogia state results as lost despite the fact that counting was still going on and when i contacted support they said that's the official result.
Weird. Did you bet on Biden to take Georgia? If you did, Sportsbet needs to pay you your winnings since recounting will most likely change nothing. The vote difference is more than 10K or something based on my research.

trump he is managing the pandemic poorly so that people do not vote for trump. and this does not only happen with trump, if European countries and some Latin American countries held elections in these months from September to November I doubt that 90% of the presidents would be able to be re-elected.
This is true, but it doesn't apply worldwide. For example, New Zealand and Australia handled the pandemic in a stellar manner when compared to other countries.
5551  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 17, 2020, 06:43:48 PM
Guys in case by December 14th you determine that Biden is not the winner, what would the scenario for the house look like in that case? I am not a US citizen, my relationship with politics is null, but having the competition of who won the elections, how could they do with those who bet in favor of Trump?
The house would get screwed royally in such a scenario. They would have to pay from their own pocket to Trump supporters and they can't expect the people who bet on Biden to return their winnings, but the possibility of this happening is negligible at this point.

This is primarily why books like Stake, Sportsbet etc are being applauded for taking a big risk.
5552  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITRUN - PREDICT THE PRICE OF BITCOIN AND WIN BITCOIN on: November 17, 2020, 04:04:36 PM
This is basically Crash with BTC value as the prediction parameter. The design is decent though the KYC and restricted countries discussed by posters above will hinder your success drastically op.

Why would anyone want to go through all these complications when they can simply play Crash on sites like Roobet, Stake etc with way fewer restrictions? This is the question that you need to answer op.
5553  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 17, 2020, 11:53:25 AM
I think Stake.com handled this perfectly .... and I also believe Biden will still be the new president of the United States of America.  Tongue
The problem here is these delusional Trump supporters lost their minds ever since their beloved leader lost the election by a decent margin and are in complete denial. For example, Nostrum and Hybrid continue to write essays campaigning for Trump even though it's all over.

It's best to just ignore them and move on just like the majority of the world. I applaud Stake for paying Biden bets early and am excited for Biden to officially take up the presidency soon.
5554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: November 17, 2020, 07:56:00 AM
I think bilateral or trilateral series are too short to have an interesting pool. Besides, it takes a lot of energy and patience to work for finding sponsors and managing a pool. For short series it's not worth it.
Valid points. Was just thinking about capitalising on the success of the IPL 2020 pool, but what you said makes more sense.

I would argue against it and agreed with royse, its not worth it. Remember we used to take part in normal betting pool for bilateral series? Where he was acting like a bookie. not many people were thrilled about betting on single games and rightly so. even i was taking part just to support community.   Grin
Completely forgot about those pools. You are right. If we had a larger Cricket community who were willing to participate, my idea would probably be feasible.

For now, let's limit them to major T20 leagues and the ICC events. As mentioned by Royse777, the number of matches that are played during the bilateral series are not large enough to allow the pool structure.
Agreed. What I proposed could be feasible if many of our community members pitched in which could lead to the sponsors gaining interest, but I forgot about what happened in the past pools.
5555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏏🏏 sportbet.one 🏏🏏 [IPL 2020] Prediction pool and discussion 🏏🏏 on: November 16, 2020, 06:05:20 PM
How about organizing a pool for the upcoming India vs Australia series since it's a contest between 2 evenly matched teams Royse? You could set a lower entry fee this time around since it's a short series when compared to the IPL.

The sponsors of IPL 2020 would probably be interested since the IPL 2020 pool was successful in my opinion.
5556  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Biden Early Payout! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 16, 2020, 04:26:47 PM
There was no logical reason to pay out early and was clearly an emotional decision by stake and now they're looking to make it difficult for Trump bettors by adding scenarios and conditions that shouldn't be applied because if everyone was waiting, there would be no "invalid" scenario. This is quite concerning and should not take place as I don't see any of these conditions on any mainstream legit betting platform and markets. predictit, paddy p, william h, betfair, are ALL either open or frozen waiting for congress to settle this afaik.
No logical reason? Are you living under a rock or something? Majority of the world has already acknowledged Biden and Harris as the POTUS and VP. Even the official results are matching the projections currently. This isn't similar to Gore vs Bush.

Books like Stake, Sportsbet etc who paid out Biden bets early are being applauded for taking risks and have improved their overall reputation while the books and exchanges that you mentioned are being criticised for late payments.
5557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Live betting question. on: November 16, 2020, 01:06:41 PM
I'm wondering why you are waiting until the match is under-way to place a wager?  With the exception of a late scratching, or a player being injured (or rain or something along those lines) I would have thought your mind would be made up before the game starts.
Live betting has its perks when compared to prematch betting. You probably are unaware of the pros related to live betting. It provides additional insurance against risks since sports matches are not always predictable.

The con with live betting is what op went through and this is a common issue with books like Stake etc. Luck matters a lot here. Many punters make a living through live bets on exchanges, books etc.
5558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPals Bitcoin is a scam on: November 16, 2020, 11:41:35 AM
You cannot expect great things from PayPal if you know their history. Their customer service is average and their taxes on payments are a joke sometimes. Paypal accepting BTC out of the blue stunned me, but I never expected a big boost to BTC adoption because of it.

However, I wouldn't necessarily call it a scam or anything. It's just an adoption boost with restrictions as expected from PayPal which is still a win for BTC in the long term.
5559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy advice on: November 15, 2020, 09:40:35 PM
Betting on the best team doesn't ensure automatic profits in the short term or long term. Even a 1.01 bet can fail on certain occasions. The only proper way to beat the house is by placing winning bets on favorites or underdogs consistently.

This is easier said than done which is why most punters end up in losses over time. Research and luck are the only proper ways to win consistently over time.

Don't depend on strategies op because they are a waste of time and are only helpful for having fun in my opinion.

I have a very bad news for Melenia if she thinks she can take anything from Trump. Dude made himself knowingly look as poor as it gets and paid only 750 dollars in taxes, do you really think she can take anything from him when he can do accounting hacks as much as he wants and make it look like he owns absolutely nothing that could be given to her? She would take nothing but maybe a tiny amount that is nothing compared to what Trump claims he owns.
You are forgetting the fact that Trump is probably at his weakest right now thanks to his loss and this is a great time to strike him which Melania was probably waiting for quite sometime. Even the toughest humans break when they are at their weakest.

Trump is no exception. She probably has been preparing for this scenario for quite sometime. Under-estimating her is silly. Trump also has to deal with many court cases once his presidency is officially over.
