LOL

funny

do people actually fall for these ?

Unfortunately account trading is allowed on this forum, so others can trade on a reputation acquired by someone else. This makes the exchanges and other places less trustworthy, but it's hard to stop scammers outright.
5542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hoskinson says WAVES is a scam, joins LISK on: June 08, 2016, 12:35:05 PM
Could you give a bit of background as to why he thinks WAVES is a scam? Just hearing one persons, apparently biased, opinion on the matter is hard to build a discussion around. Surely being in the scam accusation board might be more appropriate. He'll probably jump ship when the going gets tough at LISK
5543  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling one business verified paypal account with transaction history on: June 08, 2016, 09:56:13 AM
Why would you sell a paypal account unless it's a hacked account? People can do all sorts of fraud and money laundering through the account, so if it is your account, you will be responsible.
5544  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Cryptsy Hack Resolution - 3rd dispatch posted on: June 08, 2016, 09:43:53 AM
Going after bitcointalk because Cryptsy was hacked.. this guy has gone full retard and will only serve to fritter away more peoples money. I doubt he'll be back, or even had any skills in the first place.. 30 pages of white noise
5545  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: MSDN Invite $30 - BTC on: June 08, 2016, 08:00:38 AM
Are you going to refund people or provide a new MSDN account when they inevitably get banned because it's against Microsoft terms to trade them?
5546  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Betcoin.ag: Unresolved Issues on: June 08, 2016, 07:52:17 AM
Glad to see they credited at least one person in an attempt to make it right. It's awful to see a phishing link found it's way on to their homepage though. Not surprised though - their website was suffering problems the other week and throwing out all sorts of errors. An error being displayed on a casino website is a big no-no as it can expose all sorts of information which allow attackers in. Pretty sure some part of it was on the Joomla content management system - which is fine but opens you up to mass market exploits.
5547  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: -RESOLVED- YOBIT scammed me -and not only- during DCR withdraw on: June 08, 2016, 07:44:47 AM
What's more surprising is that they contacted me, asking for a reason to the negative trust that I left earlier, instead of addressing their concerned traders.

Reason of negative trust?

Since the issue is resolved I left a neutral trust to make everyone aware of their shady practices.

Im curious, why after being inactive since November last year you decided to come back and start off by giving someone negative rep? They might not be the most reliable exchange, but plenty of people use them with no problems.

Still waiting for mine in the UK, hopefully it will arrive today Smiley

It's up to minerjones of course, but BitcoinPenny should of won this auction really. Bid increments are multiples of 0.01 - the bid of 0.541 is the same as bidding 0.54. I only say this because I tried the same tactic in a different auction Tongue

I don't see "multiples" in this auction, only increments, which is different.

Well if you are working to the word of the rules, all bids that didn't increment by 0.01 are invalid - which is clearly not the intention in an auction. Bidding an unsupported increment would make your bid equally invalid.

5554  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Assassinating full node operators to destroy Bitcoin on: June 07, 2016, 09:15:02 AM
Does the government assassinate people who buy gold? Do they kill people who use store vouchers? Would they destroy people who trade copper on commodities markets? There is no reason for them to do it and what's more, a decentralized currency is reasonably impervious to it. Not a very clever question
5555  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I need a help with user "InBitsWeTrust" on: June 07, 2016, 08:45:24 AM
This is why everyone recommends using escrows. You really shouldn't have sent without at least a down payment - especially if he is promising to send right after a tracking number is sent. Not that you should have to, but have you tried renegotiating the price since bitcoin has moved so much over the last few weeks? You obviously had a $ amount in mind for each bar, so what is the btc equivalent of that right now?

Point the user to this thread and state you'll publish their personal details along with the scam complaint if it is not resolved by a specific date (soon). You have already paid the postage fee one way, if they don't want to pay for the bars they have to pay for the fees to get it back to you.
5556  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] ponzi script/theme/platform with proven ability with BTC on: June 07, 2016, 08:02:45 AM
Why do you waste your time setting up such blatant scam website? It is unsustainable and you are essentially stealing peoples money. It is illegal in many places and you could face prison time for fraud if you go ahead with it.
5557  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Want to start online store to sell rare meteorites? on: June 07, 2016, 07:59:23 AM
I like the idea, space is a mystery and to own something that wasn't made on earth is quite special. You would certainly need certification as someone mentioned earlier and the more professional experience you have in the field, the better. It would be nice to maybe sort them by the continent they landed on (backed up by evidence!)
5558  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling BIG Youtube Channel PRICE: 200BTC on: June 07, 2016, 07:54:53 AM
Has this channel had any problems with copyright claims in the past? I know Youtube can be a bit overzealous when it comes to taking down peoples content, if only a whiff of infringement is alleged. You'll be hard pressed to find someone with that sort of money to invest here..
5559  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YOBIT scammed me -and not only- during DCR withdraw. Seems they won't fix it on: June 06, 2016, 04:23:26 PM
Hackers got them today. Most funds have been dissolved. Educated guess.

It's a possibility, but even if hackers did get it in won't necessarily mean that "most funds have been dissolved" - wild speculation like that has a tendency to become a self fulfilling prophecy which is unnecessary after less than a day of downtime.
5560  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best poker website with webclient? on: June 05, 2016, 09:13:43 PM
I did like the interface at betcoin.ag, it very much resembles the bigger sites like 888 and pokerstars. That being said there is a limited pool of players (I saw 50ish on at a time) so you better be able to play with the best regulars.
