5561  Economy / Reputation / Re: Giving someone my own social acc's to join in bounty, is good? on: September 16, 2017, 02:36:16 PM
Yes i am waiting for your reply and i was sure that you will reply here.
I respond to a lot of threads in this section, so that was likely.

I think, because you are heartly waiting for people like me to give them negative trust.
So i am not going to share.
thanks for your advices freinds.
"Waiting for people like me" is a very wrong way of putting that. I try to tag whatever I find worthy as well as any justified request/link sent my way. There's a ton of users that should be tagged, for a various number of reasons, but that is way outside our *implied etiquette*. Doing something like this puts you in risk of:
1) Account connected with someone else + their alts (if any).
2) Anything shady that they do, you're partially at fault as well as disproving point 1 will be much harder afterwards.

Tl;dr: The risk is not worth it.
5562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Exporting a SegWit wallet Private Keys on Bitcoin Core 0.15 on: September 16, 2017, 02:25:51 PM
Well, the address I used is definitely one of the other I have in my wallet. I dont know if there is such script to redeem.
Every P2SH address, which that one is, has a redeem script. Read here: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/52271/where-are-p2sh-full-redeem-scripts-stored.

Do you think I should report the issue to github?
Not yet.

I think there got to be a procedure to export the private key of the segwit enabled addresses.
I'm going forward with two questions for you:
1) How do you generate/add P2SH addresses to Bitcoin Core?
2) How do you export a P2SH address from Bitcoin Core?

Note: I'm talking about normal multisignature addresses.
5563  Economy / Reputation / Re: Poor Translation/Automated Translation (Portuguese) - II on: September 16, 2017, 02:23:20 PM
Hello, I went to check and realize the mistakes, but what happened was that I had outsourced the translation, to a person I had confidence, but she turned out to be dishonest with me!
I don't believe that, and likely no one else will either.

5564  Economy / Reputation / Re: hashforce101 - My suspicions about being bought account on: September 16, 2017, 02:20:46 PM
Well, one can still survive of the money per managing campaigns, bounties, or just btc signature campaigns.
Sure / not that I care about that. I've encountered people that got busted for X complain that they'd starve or whatever, and I find those excuses as emotional bribery.

The real problem here is that the hours are not being lodged, and since it's just contract work and also online, it's quite easy to say  I did that while you only did that.
Not really, no. I could evaluate all participants of a random campaign of a random manager and could easily asses* (in the majority of cases, but not all) whether the manager is doing his job properly or not.

So, we can't tag hashforce with a neutral trust, since as you said it's useless, what you think would be the next course of action, in my opinion a negative is still to harsh, but that's just me.
I don't see any options other than a negative rating. I'm open to (useful and working) suggestions.

I didn't make up the quote, it's from a pm you sent me.
I'm not sure why you'd quote a PM in here, but okay.
5565  Economy / Reputation / Re: hashforce101 - My suspicions about being bought account on: September 16, 2017, 02:03:51 PM
1. I think that the community right now is just really sensitive towards these management jobs, from my personal experience they do pay out quite a lot and having a high rank does help sometimes. But, man after windpower and wizardee, this? Worst possible time to do this sort of stuff.
They pay horribly in terms of $/h, unless you are scamming the service/user who employed you by being too lenient. Now, you don't want to discuss how I know this or try to claim that it isn't true as then I'd have to analyze each manager independently (and in depth). This would push the community towards a new question: Should we be tagging campaign managers pretending to work, i.e. essentially scamming their employer by: 1) Misrepresenting/exaggerating their skillset. 2) Not spending the time and effort that was paid for? It should be obvious that people who are very much strict as I am would answer that with a yes, even though properly executing without abuse wouldn't be easy.

I think Hash's account, should be painted with a neutral trust by Lauda, or any other DT-2 Member. Negative trust doesn't seem fair at all, especially with the pretty good jobs he's being doing. Maybe something like "Likely a hacked/bought account, but doesn't look like he's going anyone harm, deal with caution anyways"
Those are pretty much useless.

Take a look at a dictionary. Tagged.
Maybe I should, huh.
I have not written that in this thread. Why are you making up quotes?
5566  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Exporting a SegWit wallet Private Keys on Bitcoin Core 0.15 on: September 16, 2017, 01:59:36 PM
Hello Lauda, I followed the procedure to create a SegWit address using the command line interface from Bitcoin Core 0.14:
- addwitnessaddress "address"
That's correct, so you must have one of the following (known to the wallet)[1]:
1) Public key.
2) Redeem script.

Now that I think about it, I dont remember the address I used to create that one. I am a bit confused right now.

Is this SegWit enabled address binded to another wallet? That is not what I believe address work.
You need to remember what P2SH is and how it works. The current Segwit addresses are basically encapsulated in P2SH which makes it a tad more complicated (bech32 will be native Segwit and much better/easier).

[1] Unfortunately I don't have any Segwit addresses in Bitcoin Core to test and guide you through your inquiry. I have tested the command with a SW address generated in another wallet. You should look for the redeem script/related private keys.

Tagged and PM'd zazarb.

Most of the positive feedback is from accounts with ZERO posts and created/last login the same day.
Looks (obviously) fake to me as well.
5568  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Chat 1-on-1 with Blockchain/Bitcoin experts! on: September 16, 2017, 12:09:40 PM
Point duly noted but I think you're missing the broader picture here which is as a society we fundamentally love to help each other.
Disagreed.

The idea here is not to use it as a means to solely monetize your expertise but a belief that anyone sitting anywhere in the world might have something meaningful to share with a person in need.
When I mentioned paid *seminars* et. al., I was not referring to your offer.

Feedback is always welcome but if you haven't even tried the platform it's really hard to understand your cynicism.
I dislike the use of third party websites. You should *show* your knowledge around here, by answering questions (especially in the Technical Support section).

I sincerely hope you change your mind once you give it a try! Smiley Look forward to hearing your thoughts.
I highly doubt that you can tell me something that I don't already know.
5569  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Chat 1-on-1 with Blockchain/Bitcoin experts! on: September 16, 2017, 11:54:39 AM
This is how I see your acclaimed "expertise":

Most 'experts' I've come in contact with have either no experience really in bitcoin but still likes to give their opinion about the matter or someone who googled information about it and feels like he/she is one reliable source of information re: the subject. But if this would be unique experts in the field (Core devs, pioneers etc) then maybe it's worth the try. Technical info is also readily available in the web if one wants to really research about something.
Correct. I think it's safe to assume that we're talking about >90% of the "claimed experts", people hosting "seminars" or whatever things for free and most often those that are paid.

As a beginner of course, yes, but the main thing is that they are experts in their narrowly focused field. Itself on books and theory can be but difficult and risky. But experts as it could, start from scratch, that's why you should ask about almost everything, especially what strategy to use in the beginning.
Stop shit posting baboon.
5570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Exporting a SegWit wallet Private Keys on Bitcoin Core 0.15 on: September 16, 2017, 11:48:02 AM
address-starting-in-3 it's multisig address, not SegWit-address
Segwit addresses start with an '3' (at least the current implementation of SW addresses). Do not respond to things which you clearly have no knowledge about.
5571  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Exporting a SegWit wallet Private Keys on Bitcoin Core 0.15 on: September 16, 2017, 11:28:54 AM
How exactly did you add this address to the wallet?

Hello, I want to export my private keys for a SegWit wallet I created in Bitcoin Core 0.14
There is no such thing as a "SegWit wallet".

0.15 BTC for a print? Are you, by any chance, related to Leonardo da Vinci? Roll Eyes
I think this is a great piece and if I had 0.15 laying around I'd order one asap. Definitely worth the price IMO! Smiley
It's definitely a good purchase if you're on the death bed. I couldn't think of a better way to waste your remaining money.

I would recommend not doing that unless you want trouble.

Hey Gunthar,

Can you check bitcointalk message inbox, I`ve sent funds for Gunbot and API keys.

I`m not pushy, just eager to start (16 hrs since message sent).

Thanks,
He has been travelling yesterday and is thus unavailable for an extended period of time. Just remain patient.

And that message, I ask  "who are you". Show the real conversation dude. You are making yourself fool.
You asking me to post the conversation? here it is .

He's asking me who am I then , He's asking me 400 mybit in order to give me back my account. But I refused to pay him on facebook.
Tagged. Good luck with the recovery. Do not pay him anything.
5577  Other / Meta / Re: Syarifbitcoin Account Got Hacked PLEASE HELP ME ! on: September 16, 2017, 06:03:55 AM
There is no guarantee that your account will ever be recovered, which is yet another flawed thing about this place.
Theymos could/should pay someone (like me) to simply verify and recover these accounts.   Wink
You're proposing an actually beneficial change to the forum, with which I can only agree with, and I can imagine theymoses reaction to it as follows:

Side note: Not meant to be offensive. Tongue
Side note 2: For the sake of the community, I'm sure that there are *trustworthy* individuals that would even do it for free.

I wonder if this is going to shoot back above $4k or not.
Almost.

Thanks for the honesty. You could have tried to put in a plug for Gunbot, but you didn't
You're welcome. I don't really push it onto people who aren't looking for trading software, or at least try not to.

JP Morgan has been buying Bitcoin ever since Dimon declared it a fraud. Cheesy
