well hope i was wrong..but from somedays here on bitcointalk i have seen a lot of sites collapsed due to no funds or any thing...even many exchanges also got robbed..in this week time when price is still falling....hardly there are some peoples like muhammed zakir,quickseller.....who are still tryng to develop this system and tryng to work on new projects...but i wont think with peoples scammy behaviour or stelling coins will ever make it good again...i strongly feel that we need something like mtgox..or we need many stable exchanges...anyways..lets discuss that how we can save this falling train of bitcoin

I think you feel big time depressed now. I would suggest you step away from your PC and go have a walk or do something not crypto related. BTC s not dead and it s not failing. True, scammers damage this beautiful idea a lot but that is our problem cause we keep funding their scam projects. Let us hope we all finally learn and this train moves stronger forward.

People, pls a bit more patience. I m sure withing 2 months we ll see the price going up to a level where we can see DMD slowly distancing itself from other smaller coins. Just bear with us, enjoy this journey and keep increasing your stash by mining/staking/buying.

I think the bumpy part of the road is behind us. Enjoy the ride and increase your DMD stash, you re going to cherish every single coin in the future.
5564  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cloud Mining on: April 12, 2015, 12:08:25 PM
Hi Bitcoiners,

I'm looking for a reputable cloud mining service which I can pay BTC to have them mine for me towards a pool.
Sadly google searches can't help me too much with this one.

Does anyone here use any of these services? Which ones do you use or have you used, how would you rate them?

Cheers.

If you wish to mine in a specific pools, there is none "cloud mining" that offer so yet, nicehash/westhash could be an option to mine in a specific pools, although they will not really be called as "cloud mining" since you will only be renting hashrate for some specific of time

But he ll never find a profitable service which rents hash like this. Cause in order to profit, they need to rent you their hash and add some markup. So you pay more to mine coins which are worth less at the moment they are mined. Better go buy coins for this money. Unless, you have other reason why you want to support a specific pool.
5565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you would be able to get back in early 2009, what would you do? on: April 12, 2015, 12:06:05 PM
i would buy the biggest and badasses farm that could ever exist, and take the control of at least 33% of the network, to this i might add more miners to take the control of 33% of every other algo, then i would donate 10% of my btc to poor or people with economic problem

so back then 20 PCs should be enough

 Grin

Does anyone remember what was the hottest GPU at that time and what was the price? I had Nvidia at that time so that would not work.

 Cool

well this is all so secure! i want to put my money in!
why would Cryptsy help them?
247,000 coins...  yep, they fucked up.  Or succeeded a lot more like.

Well, I cant say this was not expected. Paycoin dev teams generated such a chaos these last few days and this outcome is quite expected. Also, this might be an inside job, excellent way for Josh to get back his coins and gets rid of any potential liabilities to his investors.
5567  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: April 12, 2015, 07:11:06 AM
Im able to login

Everything works now and even it seems Antpool luck s been improving today.
5568  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudminr.io is a nest of thiefs beware on: April 12, 2015, 07:04:07 AM
So I bought a hashrate contract from a fellow bitcointalk member recently, and since no one was responsive via messaging on the cloudminr.io site we transferred the account itself over to my control rather than simply the hashrate. I messaged them a few times over the course of approximately a week asking them to help move the contract itself as I didn't like having redundant accounts. After having not responded whatsoever for about a week, they updated their twitter saying they were processing all support tickets. The next day I try to login to my account only to find that it had been pulled from the system altogether-my email address was not even recognized.
A heads up to you all, this service is trash and I think they might pull an exit scheme at some point, so tread with caution.
I would not recommend giving them any of your bitcoins.

Why would you buy an account? Why would you buy a ponzi scheme account. Look at these latest discount they offer, exactly the same thing LTCgear did. Now it s just a matter of time before they go under. Use your heads people.
5569  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Cloud Services legit? on: April 12, 2015, 07:00:13 AM
if you are timid, don't invest.  As for myself, I'm invested and getting paid every day, as I've proved.

Again, you should have read my post above, getting paid doesnt mean they are legit and not a ponzi.

Amhash, hashie, pbmining, ltcgear and the other did pay their customer well before the ponzi empire collapse

What exactly is a picture of mining hardware supposed to prove?

It has nothing to prove, the best prove will be the mining address and which pool does the cloudmining point it hashrate too, therefore it can be verify wether the hashrate mining would be equal to the hashrate they sold, but none cloudmining has done this, as they tend to "hide" the mining address

+1 to this.

Ok I understand people might not be eager to disclose farm location or even photos but mining address is a must have for any serious cloud mining operation. There s no reason why anyone would hide this unless they re ponzi.

These attacks only show DMD s got bright future. Why would anyone attack DMD if they do not think it s valuable.

Also, we re reaching 1 mil in about 12-16 hours. I hope at that point this problem should go away cause the new code will kick in.

What makes you certain this is an attack and not some kind of flaw?

Cause we ve been using the same code for months and everything was fine just until few days before the reward reduction. Also, take a look at some earlier posts by Cryptonit.
I have no proof for this but I am 100% sure this is not a mistake on our side. Dev team has spent hours during the last few days to fend off this attack and I think all we need to do is to wait till tonight. The new code should resolve these issues.

DMD Diamond s NOT dead. There are a lot of good people working behind the scene so we can all sit back and relax once the price starts going up. Have a little faith, this coins is not Paycoin.  Grin
5571  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New Bitmain Products? S4+ and S7? on: April 12, 2015, 06:45:16 AM
I was told they would be announcing them shortly, a few weeks ago, why are they not out yet? Do you think they are waiting to sell out of S5s and S3+?

@Bitmain - Please let us know I'd like to get in line to pick up a few of each.

You were told wrong. I do no expect S6 till mid summer. Look at BTC price, who s gonna invest milions into development and sale of something which s not in demand. You said it yourself, they cant sell out these older miner ATM.
5572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you would be able to get back in early 2009, what would you do? on: April 12, 2015, 06:39:02 AM
The problem with buying too much is, you risk destroying the eco-system and making bitcoin fail.

I'd probably cap myself at 210k coins max. I might keep a small stash of ~30k just for giveaways and such.

Oh, I'd also sell lazslo a few pizzas for sure. I'll even be nice enough to put foie gras, wagyu beef and truffles on the pizzas, and give him a complementary bottle of wine.

This one seems quite efficient. You gain the most for peanuts. Also the argument about time-space continuum s valid. Maybe BTC would be $5 today or the diff would be gozilions cause of your mining investments in 2009 and this would prevent BTC development.

You only need to spend a few thousand dollars early on to be very wealthy in late 2013, and that assumes you give away or lose 1/2 of your coins! I would invest at least $20,000 so I can have plenty of room for fun and sharing.
Yea sharing... It's always easy to share the money you don't have and then you hit a jackpot and turn into a scrooge. Wink

Well, there's a case to be made for keeping silent too. You open yourself up for a world of pain if it becomes common knowledge that you've made bank. People can get awfully strange and entitled if they know you outgun them financially.

You would also avoid being locked up in some institutions. I see future, you say, I know about this magic coin, I know it is going to rise in the future.....yeah right.
5575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you would be able to get back in early 2009, what would you do? on: April 11, 2015, 09:09:42 PM
I dont think I would do anything that drastic. I would make 4 decent rigs, top shelf GPUs for that time, 4 GPUs each rig and let those hash through 2009,2010 and 2011. Also I would sell my house, car, phone, clothes and my tooth brush and buy some BTC.

I hope the DMD price finally rises as it should.

Give it some time, my guess is up to two months. Until stocks are depleted and people start slowly flocking in. We re going to have a great ride in front of us. Just keep mining/buying and hoarding. HAMSTER mentality rules, I hoard everything.

5578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: factom transactions... on: April 11, 2015, 07:05:56 PM
...

I have been noticing more and more factom.org transactions at coinsecrets.com.  factom seems to be the largest player in "hashed data storage" on the blockchain.

I am guessing that their BTC address (or one of them anyway) is this:

1FactomGnNFTsTVx8jiGjcLKDpyL65GDsH

Checking that address at blockchain.info yields a lot of interesting looking transactions, most of them for $0.12.

Hey, just reporting a curiosity here...

Lots of people received this dust. It s a new way of advertising.
Some people even claimed LTCgear started paying again and this is just a way to test the system. Guess it wasn't.

I said realistic what if scenarios. Were you really able to buy that kind of farm in 2009? Did you funding for that at that point in time?

well yes, if i had started early, i would have acquired at least 100k bitcoin(maybe even more), even if we consider your amount only(7M) you can already build a very big farm

Would you tell anyone about it? Would you try to convince your friends and family to step in?

Seriously you should stay out of this for the reasons mentioned above...  Roll Eyes

Furthermore there should be no good reason to leave any large deposit there

Something tells me he s gonna invest anyway. Greed conquers everything.
