Some quick facts you may not be aware of: Adam Clark wiped assetylene off the face of the internet - the DNS does not resolve anymore. He also deleted the twitter page: https://twitter.com/assetylene_nz
He updated his linkedin page accordingly.

Someone should plant a red flag in this scamer's profile as well. Too bad linkedin does not have a red flag system.

Looks like it was removed on the 26th of May 2019.

OTOH it was last archived on the 27th of May 2019.

I know fairlady registered an account here, but I don't know if she was still actively (ahem) employed by Cryptopia in January 2019.

OK.

Lutpin's brief reply later this morning my time (via PM) was that distributing the donation funds previously raised is his exclusive right to decide. (am paraphrasing, but that's close to what he said - any mods can view his message and confirm the paraphrasing).

Quote
While I respect the time spent and work done here, this is not what the donations were made for.

He also says that this thread is not in the "same spirit" (if I can use that paraphrase) as the previous two threads started by mexxer-2 and Lauda.  How so?  The concept is exactly the same, the submission form is exactly the same (it's had colour added to make it more striking) and yet after seventy-nine pages Lutpin has only now come forward to say it's not in the same spirit.  Even the logo is still there (albeit not linking properly)

Lauda wanted to turn the thread into a moderated thread - we've all seen how Lauda has locked threads and deleted posts just recently in a melt down.  I chose to keep the thread unmoderated for amongst a number of issues, it enables those reported to plead their cases - sometimes more information has been uncovered than would have had their first posts been deleted on a whim.

Lutpin also states that the previous funds were distributed based on a decision made between mexxer-2 and himself:

Quote
As the quote by marlboroza shows, we've been clear that the donations are mainly meant for those taking the time to review submissions and format them to be added to the list.
It also mentions that the distribution of those funds is up to mexxers and my discretion. I hope that was clear to everyone donating.

All submissions are peer-reviewed, so every single person reading the thread has an opportunity to correct any mistakes or ask for clarification.

I can't actually recall an announcement being made by either what the logic behind their decision to gift a whopping $3.01 (0.00717535 btc) to four wallet addresses here: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/700f1549741197e996c4785d20ab53960d817f35569160807f8700aecb55fff4 with Lutpin receiving the lion's share in his (the fifth wallet address in the TX)  There was a second (from my recollection also unannounced) distribution of a near identical amount two days later in this TX https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/6ba9fcbdd1e74a0ffcf6fce3a6bc60b3c94f5a170fc10c7e67e84b3f40bce4a7 to any unidentified wallet address.

However,  I would dispute their applied logic given this from mexxer-2's OP.

Quote
Level of awesomeness (before the update):

Lutpin-->51.5
Timelord2067-->17
Joel_Jantsen-->6.5
whywefight-->6
mexxer-2-->4.5

During the Mk I thread's life it became apparent that mexxer-2 stopped counting *any* posts I made to be added to the Level of Awesomeness list and Lauda likewise did not count any/or nearly all posts so I would dispute the proportioning of funds to the six who were gifted donation funds.

As to the remaining donation funds, I actually don't want any; I've said as much a few pages back.  But, I'd appreciate it if Lutpin could delve into the logic mexxer-2 and he used to arrive at their determination who got how much?

So, let's start with an easy question:  As I am listed as in second place on mexxer-2's list, how come identical funds were distributed to me and presumably Joel_Jantsen, whywefight and mexxer-2?  You state the donations are for taking the time to review, but it looks like you based the payment on yourself being out in front...   Roll Eyes

My follow up question concerning mexxer-2 is if he's owed you money for at least two years,

How are you planing to have a discussion with mexxer-2 about how to distribute the remaining funds?  Are you also planing on creating a Flag to recover the funds mexxer-2 owes you?

*edit* Are you holding these funds to cover what mexxer-2 owes you?

(Second edit) How much does mexxer-2 owe you?

The elephant in the room then is if the last post in the Mk I thread was on the 03 December 2016, 05:10:49 AEST why are you still holding onto those funds?

Chris! in the fourth last post makes the observation that a new thread is needed and the thread is locked fifty-six minutes later.

Similarly, Lauda in one of his previous temper tantrums locks the Mk II thread (which was created less than fifteen hours after the Mk I's last post) on the 07 December 2017, 18:54:36 AEST - I then create the Mk III thread nineteen hours later and PM as many Investigators as I can that the thread has been created and will remain unmoderated.  The only concern in the discussion in the transformation from Mk II to Mk III is the creating of a Google Spread Sheet.

Lauda takes his bat and ball and goes home stating he will not contribute, but airs no concerns AT ALL.

Quote
While this thread and Lauda's thread carry on the initial idea of the known alts of anyone list, they are different projects.

If the Mk III follows on from the Mk II and the Mk II follows on from the Mk I in the same format, submission style etc, how is the Mk III any different?

Quote
I don't think quoting personal messages is the proper way

I've seen numerous people feign indignation recently that PM's have been made public, I don't think there's any need for either of us to make in public that needs to be canvased by posting the other's PM's.

Mk I   - 65 pages, 1,287 posts
Mk II  - 73 pages, 1,441 posts
Mk III - 79 pages, 1,570 posts (and counting)

So Lutpin, please forward the remaining 0.017975 BTC (less *appropriate* transaction fees) from the wallet address 1KnownF41AXkhgry3wNTHJ7NZM6jo1Kohy to the wallet address 1KnownXXXNtrjT539vAWckYqWi77jgUXs6 [Signed] as previously requested.

Excuse me, but what is wrong with my post? I don't see any particular difference between this post and merited one.

I didn't want quickseller getting a complex thinking I was singling him/her out for not using the submission form (and starting yet another thread of how hard done by they feel)
5567  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk III (2019 Q2) on: June 17, 2019, 04:16:15 PM
Eleven days later...
Aw fuck.

I got your PM, Timelord2067, and I don't check this thread regularly anymore.  Last I heard of Lutpin was him screwing the participants of the campaigns lightlord was running, though I think he did make good in the end--I can't remember.  I did leave him a neg at one point.

Do you have the contents of that e-mail or what?  I think you ought to quote it here for reference, but that's just my opinion.  If you start up a flag against him with solid evidence, I'll support it because I lost my faith in him after the lightlord situation.  I don't know why he went rogue, but that's what it appears happened.

And I wasn't aware there were funds being held anywhere for this thing.  That's news to me, but again I haven't been following this thread for a while.

Thanks for your reply. I'm just on my way to work, will post it in about um, ten hours time - it'll give anyone else time to dwel on the issue.

Is anyone in communication with @Lutpin?  I sent him a PM a couple of days ago about the donation funds that he's in control of from the previous thread - he's been online a couple of times since [1] & [2], but hasn't responded.

Eleven days later...

Lutpin has again been online again today [3] but has not responded to my PM concerning the funds he is holding on behalf of the Known Alts thread.

While this is not at the Scam Accusation level, I believe this is speaking to his reputation by ignoring my PM to him.

If anyone is able to reach out to Lutpin can they point out there is a PM from me that requires Lutpin's attention. [Archive]

I've received an email from Lutpin who has formally refused to hand over the funds.  I have my own thoughts but any guidance on how should proceed would be appreciated.

I take it your question was aimed at me in relation to this post

These four out of the (more than four) listed further above also have negative trust for having committed scams.  They are not for being account sellers.

My question was not in relation to that post, or I would have quoted it for context. I'm obviously not talking about flags unrelated to account-selling.

Your thread title "[Flag] applied or required" seems to imply that Account Sellers will be flagged; I may be wrong about this assumption.  My question stands on its own, and I felt it was very relevant to the thread: Will you be creating or supporting flags against Account Sellers, for selling accounts?

Yes, you are wrong in your assumption. You even quote me above which answers your question...

How many of you good people turned a blind eye when Lauda sent PM's out "suggesting" others be excluded from the DT's? Hands up.

That's definitely looking more and more likely as each day that goes by without any news.
