5561  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How is payment received from the forum? on: March 15, 2020, 11:45:09 AM
I wondered just how you can login here. More people come here because they believe that this forum can be a source of passive income. But no, it was not. Often the motivation, such as money ends up not to stay here. At first I thought the same thing, but then sooner or later, the money is just a simple reward, knowledge is the best income got it so far. Of course, friends and productive discussion over the Internet are also advantages to this.

What the hell are you talking about? This is your first post and you registered on the forum literally 12 minutes before that. What productive discussion you're talking about?
 Huh

5563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 15, 2020, 10:26:00 AM
Ethereum has been dumping insanely after the bitcoin dump and i have lost my investment in Eth. Is is being traded at 123$ now while a week ago it was well above 200$.  Cry
I regret myself that i did not sell at that moment. If i have sold at 220$, i would have bought double ethereum by now.

Sorry, but how did you lost your investment in ETH? Did you sell at a lower price than the one you bought? Why would anyone do that? If you don't have faith in the future of the project then you shouldn't even invest in it, right?

Personally, I want ETH to drop at least another 50%! Grin

Why can't you sell at the lower price when you need some money to meet your daily expenses.

You might want Ethereum to go more below than its current value, but think about those who have bought it at higher prices and are stuck with it. If Eth does not move up quickly, people will lose trust and interest in the project. Don't you think on these lines  Huh

Nope. When I think of 'investments' then I think long term. Everything else is just speculative trading and that's very similar to gambling. Especially if you have no idea what you are doing and don't have enough experience in market trading.
And what do you mean by "when you need some money to meet your daily expenses"? The most important rule of investing - "never invest money that you can't afford to lose"! Put you money in the bank and collect peanuts from the passive interest. Wink

Bad, very bad, you can see that this project the admin wanted to hurry both the script and the graphics, I wouldn't even put a pen in a site like that.

Yeah, that's probably one of the worst designed sites I've seen in awhile. It reminds me of my attempts from 20 years ago, but at that time we did not have the tools we have at our disposal today and we coded everything by hand.

OP, if you're serious about this, take the site down, hire a graphic designer and web developer and get it right. This looks like a cheap scam attempt.

Don't know if someone will put money on this if you have no time to review what you are posting here. Just saying...

Another day, another shitcoin. I don't think OP is overly serious with this. If he does not have time to answer his own topic then what is the point of this 'research'?
5567  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Provably Fair BLACKJACK.FUN Giveaway Campaign. on: March 15, 2020, 09:26:19 AM

I got free bonus couple days ago and i had same problem with hit button and i lost couple bets cuz this bug.
But it was free money and i dont care, but i will never deposit my money to this bugged site.

I have played several times on this site just for fun. As others have stated, there really is a big problem with buttons on the page. The HIT button is poorly positioned and in collision with the mouseover effect on the cards. Sometimes it doesn't respond and you need to move your mouse pointer to find the active click position. I tested in several different browsers. That's pretty bad from player-side view and the developer should do something about it, imho.
5568  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Book] The Crypto MBA- The prerequisite for investing in crypto-assets on: March 15, 2020, 09:00:31 AM
I don't think advertising is allowed in this section, so you should read the forum rules again.

22. Advertising (this includes mining pools, gambling services, exchanges, shops, etc.) in others threads' is no longer allowed, including, but not limited to, in altcoin announcement threads. [8]

5569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PETER SCHIFF WAS RIGHT: Again... If Bitcoin does not go up on good news.... on: March 15, 2020, 08:21:53 AM
I found this write up unpatriotic, bitcoin dumps and come up quickly which is good for even a blind trader, if bitcoin goes down and stays there like forever without meaningful gain, I would have been tempted to digest this suppose hardfact, I see this as a FUD and never any fact.

Calling someone that disagrees with your investment strategy " unpatriotic " is a PERFECT Example of someone so emotionally involved, that he can not possibly look at this in any rational way.    The level of stupidity and dishonesty by this guy is astonishing !

I wonder if anyone that thinks BitCoin will go down is also sacrilegious and offending GOD also.  I know most people here are to cowardly to speak up against what everyone so desperately wants to believe, but I am sure a lot of you read this statement and think what a nutjob.    This is the perfect example of the self reinforcing fools convincing each other of their " beliefs " as they blindly go off the cliff together.

Hard Facts

Why are you so insecure? The tone of your statements is very aggressive and insulting. When you resort to insulting the other side's intelligence, that signals either that you have run out of real arguments or that you lack the patience necessary to continue the debate.
Or maybe you're just trolling here? In that case, I'd like to help you out. Which way did you come in?

Aha, thanks.

5572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Doomed ? on: March 14, 2020, 10:57:27 PM
As the famous saying goes
"If it doesn't move up and down, then it's not alive" ~ Author: Unknown

The same applies to Bitcoin. The up and down movements are more than normal for a healthy market and we would be fools to think bitcoin is doomed just because it moved back to 5K

Limbo is no fun! And I am not talking about the Caribbean party dance. Wink
Let it move. It may take a long time, but it will get where it needs to be eventually.
5573  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: March 14, 2020, 10:29:40 PM
<snip>

I've got zero hits on "beer to beer" and "bear to bear" searches, but there are some even funnier "pier to pier" examples out there.
<snip>

There may be no bears or beers, but we have a couple of, no less interesting, "pee" and "peep" combinations...  Grin

Also, the network behind Bitcoin allows pee-to-peer transaction. As a result, an intermediary is unnecessary.

Cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin were not created to replace fiat. They are even meant to be pee-to-peer currencies unlike fiats.

In other words, peep to peer consist of more work for a trader. Traders don't have much time to sit and talk to the person on the other side of the trade.

ACE is a telegram base peep to peer CryptoCurrency Escrow/Exchange platform ...

...but those guys are making a blockchain peep-to-peer car rental service without the emphasis on luxury.
5574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY THE BLAME ON BOUNTY HUNTERS FOR SHITCOINS? on: March 14, 2020, 09:57:44 PM
From observation, most people who are bounty hunters are also investors themselves.\
You are wrong with that, only few of them are investors, I am certain although I cannot confirm, that is judging only on how they will dump after the bounty, if they are investors, they would care on the projects because they know when they dump, the future price will be affected, so as their investment.

I can partially agree with this. Bounty hunters are likely to watch the most opportune moment to liquidate their tokens. If they believe in the project, they will keep the tokens until they reach a satisfactory price. If they do not believe in the project, they will liquidate their earnings immediately, but this should not have a lasting impact on the project. It is the developers who determine the future of the project and therefore the value of coins.
5575  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people have been panic selling? I didn't. on: March 14, 2020, 09:46:20 PM
It's hard to tell how many people has fallen under the influence of panic selling. I don't think there is any data about that but it would be very interesting to see the statistics.
Many people just don't have enough patience to wait for price to recover and can't control their emotions, very often under influence of other who started to panic or fake news. I doubt that we would ever be able to avoid that, there will always be unexperienced users who will panic.

Unfortunately, most markets are manipulated by whales, which then triggers an bot trading avalanche. And whales almost never react emotionally or under the influence of panic selling but with a plan. Do you think the crypto market coincides with the stock market by accident? As I see it, the whales probably estimated that it was a good time to start a market drop and take their profits to re-enter at much lower prices.

ASSUMING that this is going to have a great outcome is a special kind of stupid 🙉🙉🙉

Hard Facts

It will always be a great outcome for someone. Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner. There has to be losers. This is a zero sum game, remember? For every seller there must be a buyer on the other side. So, one of the two will profit in the end.
5577  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 14, 2020, 06:45:39 PM
Thanks to everyone.. I really appreciate your time and responses

What assets are you holding, if we may know?
Personally, I prefer trading mainly because of the higher yield. But it takes a lot of effort and time. Learning is also part of the process.
5578  Other / Meta / Re: [Request] Theymos we need moderator again in Croatian local board on: March 14, 2020, 09:01:34 AM
Agreed with @Trofo

At the moment, anything you want to write has to go into main section, and is by default if it's not bitcoin related, it's off topic. As such, it's always at risk of being reported and deleted by global mod.
It would really be nice to have someone to bring order into chaos (Anakin?) and open one or two more subsections.

I just took a quick look. Almost all local boards have 'Off-topic' or 'General Discusion' sections. I think it's time to bring some order into the Croatian subforum, and a moderator would certainly be welcome there. I support all suggested members.

Nice research @Rikafip! Fortunately, I've never heard of USI Tech and Bidrace (I'm relatively young here), but every Ponzi needs to be labeled with its real name, which is SCAM.
I'm supporting Flag, as well.

Thank you Karl and bitcasino  Smiley
Congratulations on winning khaled0111  Cheesy Cheesy We all expect too high price compared to the decline of the economy LOL  Grin Grin You are the one who offered the lowest price and you won with a fairly high spread, I have never seen a competition that wins at a such high spread

Yeah, that was weird competition! As if Bitcasino foreseen what would happen these days. Next time, I'll go with the lowest low or the highest high. Grin

Congratulations @khaled0111! It' s a great victory and you've earned it.
