5561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Takes Place Amidst Pandemic on: April 27, 2020, 07:25:48 AM
I guess Nicaragua is one crazy boxing nation, Lol. I do hope that they make the right decision as the world is really suffering from the covid-19 pandemic. But still, there are risk involved here, they may have the lowest cases, but it doesn't mean that they are going to be immune with the virus. Personally, I love the sports, but let's not wait till the virus gets into their country, they should take care and health comes first.
5562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin creating panic again? on: April 26, 2020, 11:08:33 AM

[snip..]

As you can see BTC Doesn't Looks good at all as of noey ! Loosing momentum, Strong Resistance ahead, Hidden Bearish Divergence all are Indicating that we may see a Significant drop in upcoming days !

Only hope for Bulls is that they Make a Strange moves and Anyhow Breaks and Fixes above 7500$. Below that Mark, it's Better to stay out of this Asset !

Important Levels to Watch here is : 6500$, 6200$, 5800$

Let's see how it goes.

It already broke 7500$ and it will continue to increase knowing that the bitcoin halving is very near but I am worried if it can really push the price that hard especially that we are currently facing a pandemic right now. But base on the last few days, the market is very positive which is gaining a green remark until now so we can expect that it will continue until the halving will happen.

But after the halving will be very crucial because if the bull run will not be triggered then there is a big chance that the market will crash again especially if the pandemic will not be resolve.

Well when the OP posted this, it was like six days ago, and that time we have been struggling the breake the next resistance which is $7200. And it seems that the market suddenly went on a run to $7500-$7700 which makes me excites but at the same time, could be a bear trap.

So let's see if this is really a bullish signal prior to the halving next month. A good $8k is not that bad, actually we have doubled the last lows for this year already, which is $3800. So everything is really pointed to a good direction, but I will still remain cautious.
5563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen when the last Bitcoin gets mined? on: April 26, 2020, 09:35:47 AM
So far we have seen 18++ million bitcoin have been mined already. So probably after the halving next month and following the next three halvings, so around 2032 we might say that "almost all bitcoins" have been mine already. So next final 1 million bitcoin will be mine for many generations. So we don't have to wait, in 2032 for sure some of us here is still alive and see what's going to happen, theoretically.
5564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Gambling Life During Quarantine on: April 25, 2020, 09:33:46 AM
Well the first 4 weeks of the quarantine, I would say was easy to control my gambling. However, news say that are country will have a extended lock down so it will be another struggles. Although there is still online as a option for now, but I love to go to physical casinos.

So yes it could be day to day grind, but most of the times, I just think of those people around the world that is affected and dying and that makes me control my self and think of how lucky am I surviving in this pandemic.
5565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Using BTC instead of Swift to move money these days. Suggestions please on: April 25, 2020, 08:48:52 AM
Definitely, bitcoin should be your main crypto currency to use here, it is safe that the rest of the altcoins out there. Confirmation time are based on how clogged the mempool is, others used the trick of paying to get their transaction on the next 10 blocks. It is still cheap though as compare to Swift and it might take just hours to be clear on the blockchain. Best of luck on your transaction.
5566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to get some Ethereum? on: April 25, 2020, 08:21:35 AM
I think the best time to get Ethereum was went it hit it's lowest, around $80. And then prior to the covid-19 pandemic, it went as high as $260 if I'm not mistaken and everyone thought that $300 was in plain sight. However, a lot of things have change, personally though, Ethereum is still cheap so yes, probably still a good time to get it.

Others argue that if you can't get 1 BTC, then get 10 ETH.  Grin
5567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTOCURRENCY IN NORTH KOREA on: April 25, 2020, 07:36:23 AM
North Korea? They have this group, Lazarus Group. A state sponsored cyber criminals group and they are to blame on some of the South Korea's exchange hack.

We all know that North Korea's regime wanted to control everyone and everything, so I highly doubt that individuals are given the chance to own crypto, much less having access to the internet. If there are people who have crypto, it is the government thru their hacking and used crypto to circumvent trade embargo.
5568  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much does the community trust crypto banks on: April 24, 2020, 12:20:52 PM
How much does the community trust crypto banks? Since if we look at many people use P2P exchangers and through different ways to withdraw to Fiat , but could use a Bank account and buy and sell through a cryptobank, when do you think people will abandon the exchangers in favor of cryptobanks?
Crypto banks? never heard of it, as what @bitmover, crypto exchanges are the closest we can get to a crypto bank. Of course there are disadvantages of it, like not having our on set of keys to the coins. And then we have the looming hacks around.

I don't think that people are going to shift to crypto bank if there will be one. Traders needs exchanges, obviously, to buy/sell crypto to make money. Will the crypto banks give us that option? Nah, so the likelihood of people abandoning exchanges are nil, in my opinion. Maybe crypto banks will have it's purpose, but I don't think that it will have the support of the majority here.
5569  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your thought during ECQ on: April 24, 2020, 11:34:30 AM
[..snip..]
Is this another conspiracy theory again? I thought that the experts say that this is not man made as this is a new strain of the Corona virus. It seems thought that everyone is pointing to the Chinese government. Well base on reports, there will be no vaccine for the next 12-18 months.

As far as tracking device or something, the closest we hear is that South Korea is sort of like having an app to track everyone, places they have been, stuff like that. So that once they can infected they can just go back and see the places their frequented and people around they met for quarantine. But I don't think this will be implemented. You should get yourself off reading those conspiracies.
5570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin spread rapidly on ‘China Twitter’ the price will rise before halving on: April 24, 2020, 11:01:28 AM
Lol, is this the first time that Chinese heard about halving? I doubt that, remember majority of the miners are in China so they have long been waiting and anticipating the block halving. Google trends? of course, everyone is at home, so obviously, the search will spike. I doubt that this will cause the price to spike prior to halving, everyone has been accumulating specially 2018-2019, so the price is already in. Maybe this is a bear trap, no expert in trading, but I'm not comfortable seeing the price going up like this.
5571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cartesi is now listed in Binance on: April 24, 2020, 10:07:05 AM
Just heard about this when creepts game competition and never joined on their camps but does they distribute their bounty payments already? If that's the case expect for a dump since for sure the hunters will dump what they got from the camp and this is bad for investor who thinks to enter the scene.

Maybe will check later on for possible good phase to enter  Grin

They havent distributed bounty rewards yet. They will distribute 1/3 in 30 days after sales start, next 1/3 in 60 days after sales start and last part in 90 days. Even though bounty hunter hold very small amount of tokens (as I remember bounty campaign budget was $15k in tokens aka 0.1% of total supply), as usually, when the price drops, hunters will be the one to blame.
Maybe they just want to control everything, as based on experienced bounty hunters are the first one to dump once the token got listed so it's a good way at least for me that the project is not giving in just one drop otherwise it will be a messed.

And when the price drops, all they are going to blame are the bounty hunters. So for bounty hunters, you really have to follow their threads to be able to find out when they are going to officially distribute your tokens.

Looking at the domain site, it is obvious, that this is fairly recent and with the intention to scam crypto investors. Good thing that you have brought this up to the community. Good catch.

People are saying that Minerium is a scam.

But how come people calling it then? First redflag is that it is listed on Livecoin, which has a history of scamming people here, and then you have to pay something to go to the next level to have to pay something like .3 ETH so unlock (that is the way I understand it). So definitely it falls on the definition of a classic Ponzi scheme, isn't it? All sounds like MLM or Ponzi..

Just be careful with TrustWallet as well because recently it was also a target from cryber criminals, Fake Trustwallet website.

Trust is subject though, as the saying goes, "Don't trust, Verify".
5576  Other / Beginners & Help / Fake Trustwallet website on: April 22, 2020, 12:31:51 PM
There is a fake trust wallet website out there, please be careful not to fall for this. Don't download any of those supposedly apps as it might contain malware to steal your cryptos.

5577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: April 22, 2020, 11:11:34 AM
I'll be glad if the NBA would finally resume.
Me too and for sure most of us here feel the same way. I am really thirsty to watch NBA games once again Grin. But I wonder, if the current season will be finished this way then who would be the proclaimed champion? None? As in Buck's 53 W 12 L record will get void and not recognized?
Why would that record be not recognised though? It's already in the NBA books. Obviously, the season has been shortened because of the pandemics but that doesn't mean that records will be voided.

And as expected, if they pushes everything this year, the next season will be pushes until such time that the games will be again adjusted to the regular schedule. Of course, we all what to see NBA games and everyone feels excited once it resume this June (crossing-fingers).

5580  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: April 18, 2020, 01:46:36 PM
I think if this virus continues to drag on, we might see the old superpowers collapse and thus the creation of new first world power house in Asia specifically China. As we know they have already solved the corona virus crisis and taking advantage of global turmoil to pursue their territory expansion in the West Philippine Sea. I dont know if this is all part of their plan because there are rumors that they already have the vaccine.
Well, even prior to the outbreak of the corona virus, China has been flexing its muscle in the last 4-5 years in the Philippine West Sea, they have build a lot of military installations there already. Militarization in that area? Of course, that was their grand scheme after-all.

But as far as the Covid-19 virus? I don't know, there are a lot of conspiracies out there, but I don't think that China are experimenting about it to be used as a weapon to at least be the next superpower because they have been in the position already.
