That win against Cadiz was really important for Sevilla. They are now four points ahead of the relegation zone and they need to keep getting away more week by week. I think it's good that Barcelona let go of one of these domestic competitions to Real Madrid and continue to get the focus on La Liga until the end of the season. Of course Barcelona expects a win, but however every team will not be able to avoid defeat forever even though they have won the first leg. Barcelona's game plan was only good for 45 minutes but then Real Madrid took over and demoralized the players especially in the second half.
But regardless, I think it was a fair result because basically Barcelona had defensive problems throughout the second half. They had several goal chances, but Thibaut Courtois and the Real Madrid defenders saved them well. I dont think that Potter had time in Chelsea. I dont even think he was 6 months in the club and he got so many new signings that it is just impossible to get them all togheter. Graham Potter might not have lasted for the number of years as the Chelsea manager as much as he would've wanted but that doesn't mean that he wasn't given time to prove himself. I don't think anyone doubts PSG's title this season in Ligue 1, they are really focused on getting it even though in the last few match they have had to drop points. At least Ligue 1 is the only title still available to PSG after failing in the Copa France and the Champions League, so it looks very close for them.
Lens is not a very threatening team even though currently the two teams are only 6 points apart. I think PSG will be able to overcome their problems in time and they will find their best form again after the recent two bad defeats.

Freiburg's win over Bayern Munich was unexpected in the DFB Pokal maybe. But I don't see the same thing happening in their next match against each other which is two days later. Because it is going to be played in the Bundesliga and we know how much Bayern Munich are caring about the league title every season. They have dominated the league for around ten seasons straight so far in the end. They have been quite inconsistent this season though but it looks like they can put an end to that with Tuchel too.

But Chelsea management must have a reason to hire him as Chelsea interim manager. Well, at least Lampard knows everything about Chelsea since he was a player there and he ever managed Chelsea from 2019 to 2021. I hope Lampard can improve Chelsea performance, the fans have already been disappointed many times with Chelsea new coaches. PSG are just doing their best to throw the Ligue 1 title but I really agree that there isn't any team that go head-to-head with them until the end of the season. Actually this is like a golden opportunity for some other team to try their luck with the league title. Marseille and Lens both deserve to go for this run taking their general peformances into account so far in my opinion.
Lens are a pretty surprising team of the season though. Most of us expected them to be out of any race after a point. But now they aren't only in a rivalry for the second position. They are 6 points away from the leader as well. There isn't much time left for the end of the season too so this effort really deserves to be appreciated a lot.
Paris St Germain are not having the kind of season they must have planned for after being eliminated in the UEFA Champions League and has also been getting bad results lately but I don't think there's anything that's gonna stop them from winning the French Ligue 1. The performance of Real Madrid last night against Barcelona looks very strange to me but at the end of the game I read in papers where some of the players confirmed that they played as if they were playing finals and that was the instruction of their coach.
Real Madrid team and management know that they have not been very good this season as it is obvious from their La Liga games, they know that they have lost any chances of winning the La Liga, their best chances to win something is the champions league and the Copa del Rey. Every game is a preparation for the other game, and with this win, the confidence of the players and Benzena who scored a Hat trick will be up in readiness for their important champions league game and in their next game in the Copa del Rey. Real Madrid over the years has shown that they're a club with strong winning mentality and on several occasions has they turned around matches that almost everyone thinks they've lost out and deliver incredible performances to end up as winners and such characteristics is very rare in modern day football. Yesterday's match was different because they weren't trailing in the tie after winning the first leg by a goal to nil but because they were beaten in the league by the same Barcelona they met played against yesterday, they wanted to make a big statement of how big of club they are and they did that in clinical fashion. Wow! Another shocking case in Italy is about to begin eh ? Sometimes I feel Todd Boellhy doesn't look into past records before deciding on people to take over Chelsea's managerial affairs. I think he wants to pay more money on terminated contracts. I know vividly well that he's the significant brain behind Frank Lampard's new contract as chelsea supervisory coach. Lampard may do well during these few periods but his success story may not last in the next season if peradventure his performance in this short period is convincing enough to give him a permanent contract. Chelsea as an elite club needs experienced coaches not the likes of Frank Lampard.
A temporary solution is better than none or some for which you then have to pay a lot of money (termination of the contract). There are rumors that Nagelsmann will lead the team in the summer, and now he wants to rest until the end of the season (or just does not want to get under the Real Madrid ice rink). But there are also rumors that PSG also want to sign Nagelsmann. Will he, like Mbappe, negotiate for himself the best conditions from two rich clubs? Cunningly! It's crystal clear that Chelsea needs a manager that can turn the fortunes of the club around, wether temporary or permanent but I don't think that Frank Lampard is the best available man for the job. Newcastle won by a big margin, and it's no surprise considering how poorly West Ham played. Newcastle's team spirit and unity were truly impressive, and these are important factors contributing to their success. I wouldn't be surprised if this team ends up playing in the Champions League. They definitely have what it takes to be competitive at that level. Newcastle defense is so strong for opponents to penetrate, which helps them going far in the competition. Eddie Howe is doing exceptionally well but I will say new castle management did pretty well during the last transfer window. They were ver selective in the transfer window and a good percentage of the players are extremely productive.
