5581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you would be able to get back in early 2009, what would you do? on: April 11, 2015, 06:43:14 PM
i would buy the biggest and badasses farm that could ever exist, and take the control of at least 33% of the network, to this i might add more miners to take the control of 33% of every other algo, then i would donate 10% of my btc to poor or people with economic problem

I said realistic what if scenarios. Were you really able to buy that kind of farm in 2009? Did you funding for that at that point in time?
5582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have 1 BTC to INvest on: April 11, 2015, 06:33:57 PM
You can invest in bitcoin gambling sites like just-dice but nothing really is sure, but yeah you can win some money investing in gambling sites
I wouldn't recommend gambling as a safe way for investing, try your like in safe trading or just keep the bitcoin it may be more worth than any other invesment Grin

Gambling as investing into the house or simply gambling with his bitcoins?
5583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.cc questions on: April 11, 2015, 06:31:50 PM
I've been using scrypt.cc for a while now and had no issues but I wanted to confirm, Is scrypt.cc a scam/ponzi?

I'm thinking of making a large BTC deposit.

What do you think? Since you ask this question, you must have your own doubts about it. What do you have doubts about?

Let me help you a bit:

No photos of the farm
No mining address
If you ask support for these 2, you do not get them.
No exact location of the farm
No verifiable data about the people behind it
No scrypt miner known to mankind which can generate 60 days ROI
Not a single proof they mine at all
No need for them to sell hash in case they would have that kind of miner cause they could mine for themselves

You continue the list....

5585  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloudmining.website New puppy in cloud mining on: April 11, 2015, 06:23:16 PM
Hi,

I'm a bit scary to invest in mining company that stay hidden...
On their website there is no information at all. Is it a legit company ? the address ? support seems to be non-existing, no terms of use...

I always thought that people who hide do not have good intentions ...

Yup, you thought well. If they are not transparent, stay away from them. That s my suggestion.
5586  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin ATM location in a number of countries... on: April 11, 2015, 06:02:02 PM
Wasn't aware there is a BTC ATM in Zagreb, will have to test it next time I visit. What s the difference between these high end models you mention and this one?
5587  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New website to answer questions & misconceptions about Bitcoin. (in beta) on: April 11, 2015, 05:28:48 PM
It s always nice to see a website which can help people get informed about BTC and promote crypto in general. I would suggest if you could add some video and a bit more graphics. All in all, great idea, keep up the good work.
5588  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Idea: Investing in rental properties as a group using bitcoins? on: April 11, 2015, 05:25:56 PM
Would there be any interest in a collective fund that invests in real estate as a rental investment? Where I'm from, a typical real estate investment yields a profit of 10-15% per annum. Take away things like taxes, property management fees, insurance, and percentage of time where the property (or collection of properties) remains vacant, then you're probably looking at the lower end of that range.

The transactions would be done in Bitcoin but they would need to be converted to fiat since not many people accept BTC for buying/selling homes. Rent payments would also be paid in fiat of course so the biggest potential downside would be the risk that the BTC price shoots up. Since everything is done in fiat, you would have gained less money than you would have if you had just held onto your coins. Conversely, if the BTC price continues falling then you would have gained more money.

Does a service like this already exist? Would there be any interest in the community for something like this?

EDIT: Not sure where to post this thread. I did a search for some search terms that might bring up similar topics but the only results that came up where people selling their homes.

This is a nice idea but you do have one major issue, consumer protection. We are talking about a lot of BTC here and who s going to guarantee your clients you simply do not run away with the money.
5589  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Scryptsy.com Your Bitcoin Works Better! Fixed Cloud Mining Contracts! on: April 11, 2015, 05:22:08 PM
very clever. Can I see the address you're mining? or the pictures of your miners and total hashing power? Just to protect you from the accusation you are running a ponzi scheme. Once I see it I will buy your 10PH/s platinum contract for 16000BTC you are offering.

In the near future all the mining power data, data about our mining power partners and company legal information data will be published on the site.
We do not use Ponzi schemes, and do not approve of such an approach - every day we re-invest in new addtional mining power.

Then you can expect people to invest in the near future as well and not now. I suggest people do not sent a single cent to any company which does not provide mining address and photos of the farm.
This work both ways, you take care of your users and users take care of you.

Hello community,

Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Just wanted to stop by and let everyone know that I will not be around much over the next few weeks as my current projects are about to launch.

While it's great to spend time here, the public launching of these new Paycoin platforms will be very demanding. They will finally separate Paycoin from the pack, so it's important to focus Smiley

I will pop in and out from time to time. See you around

bye bye garza.

5592  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / If you would be able to get back in early 2009, what would you do? on: April 11, 2015, 05:15:15 PM
So, if you come back in 2009, how would you structure your BTC related investments. Please post only scenarios which are financially viable. For example, I would take my $7 mil and buy every BTC domain known to man is not going to work. Only stuff you were able to do at that point in time pls.

Let us hear how would you make your millions in case you had a time machine to come back to 2009.  Grin
5593  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: I have $5,000 to buy equipment and almost free electricity. Where do I start? on: April 11, 2015, 10:55:45 AM
The University will notice that you are sucking down a large amount of electricity. They will come down hard on you. Your mining career will end well before you experience ROI. They may even press criminal charges against you as well. If you don't think so, go ahead, no skin off my teeth.

This.

5 S5 suck a lot of power and someone will notice, 100%. If I were you, I would go either cloud or invest into some PoS coins.
5594  Economy / Securities / Re: Anything sustainable worth of investing? on: April 11, 2015, 10:54:05 AM
By "big fluctuations" you mean the founder running away with peoples money, right? Sad but true. Best example that there is no exception: Friedcat

Keep your Btc!

Haha. Yes, there are lot of unfortunate examples but there are also several good and profitable services. Bitcoin investing s not dead. Keep the good stuff flowing in. What else is there?
5595  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does it make any sense to cloudmine on: April 11, 2015, 10:51:55 AM
If you can trade well you can purchase GH/s and then sell them when you want for profit. https://bit-x.com allows this.

Yup, lots of people do this and they find cloud mining to be just a bonus.
5596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Diamond (DMD) Evolution v 2.0 | NEW wallet, 50% POS Active on: April 11, 2015, 10:15:46 AM
There was only one day before the trigger. soon a new mechanism to protect the network starts.
Big changes are waiting for this coin.
Everyone who wanted to have the opportunity to stock  a cheap diamond and now open the way for a growth.

There s still a couple of months to increase your stocks of diamonds. I do expect the price to rise but slowly, until demand depletes whatever remaining supply is still available. Anyway, I will continue buying.
If you do have an urge to buy or sell, pls spread it over a few/days or even weeks. Dumping or pumping benefits no one. Play this one smart and we ll profit from this great coin.
5597  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does it make any sense to cloudmine on: April 11, 2015, 06:17:57 AM
Does it make any sense to do cloud mining any more?  Does anyone have any experience with Megamine in the UK?

I have about 10k to spend on the bitcoin play, far to little to buy any hardware....I'm trying to find the best way to invest it.  (I don't want to buy actual coins I don't think there will be a return)

In case you develop a viable tactics to reinvest large chunk of you payments and are ready to accept 12 months ROI, I can you can still make money with cloud mining. All this under condition we do not see those 40% a month diff growth adjustments anymore.

Also, always choose a cloud mining option where you can sell your hash and exit, I m not sure if Megamine s got this. Hashnest and Bit-X do have this.

I was going to post my payouts from my wallet but I couldn't copy the whole page only individual transactions.  Sorry.  If some one can tell me how to copy a whole history page from an electrum wallet, I will post it.  Since everyone on here knows much more about this stuff than me, can't you go to blockchain.info or somewhere and check on my payout address and see if I have been getting payments every day for last two months?
Oh, it looks like I started with BCS on 2/10/2015 instead of 2/08/2015 as I stated.

One more thing.  Why would anyone lie about anything as trivial as this???  I wouldn't.

Since I posted this post, I went to blockchain.info and entered my receiving address and it shows my payment from earlier this evening.  Surprisingly for me, it also had Bitcoin Cloud Services as the payer.  I figured there would just be an address.

I just went back to blockchain.info and found all my payouts listed.  This doesn't prove anything except that they are paying me....which suits me just fine.

Lots of people are getting paid for now, this is not the issue. Pls do ask them for their mining address and post back what they say. I can bet they ll post some excuse not to give it to you.
5599  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I am speculating that Josh Garza of GAW will go to jail this year on: April 11, 2015, 06:12:45 AM
If you lie to your clients and spread false advertising and false info, lots of people lose money. Then simple "I m sorry" is not enough.
5600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying and holding BTC without mining.. on: April 11, 2015, 06:11:12 AM
Is like buying a gold mine and not having guards.

You have zero say in what happens to the coins you own.

Well, yes, this is a viable option. BTC s often referred as "digial gold".

But this gold you can easily move, split, sell, invest and store. Not to mention that it WILL go up big time. I m sure of that.
