5581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at 4700 USD now. Bull run expected. on: April 03, 2019, 05:33:37 PM
If we join hands to hold more, what assurance do we have that you won’t go behind us to betray us, friend.  I guess we have to have an association of investors and make you a chairman so that we can be sure you would practice what you preached. Don’t mind me, just pulling your legs (LOL).

I tap into your idea, it will really be great if we can keep accumulating and holding our coins to make the bitcoin reach its full capacity in value, we also need to try as much as possible not to allow whales test us or lure us into panic sell, we are stronger than they think they out, and together we bitcoin loyalist will see to the bull run  of BTC.
5582  Economy / Speculation / Re: "What started it"? on: April 03, 2019, 04:47:17 PM
For now we don’t have an answer to what really started it and many crypt users too are looking out for one, so if I take a look at yours since we have limited answer, probably I might find my answer from there too but if you say it’s from Japan, it means majority of the investors are from Japan, so what could have prompted them to invest so much, though I can see you mentioned arbitrage but if it is arbitrage, we ought to have seen the reversal  because arbitrage is to simply and shortly take advantage of price difference across the market to make profit, so they ought to have immediately sell of their coins too on other exchanges with higher value which will cause sudden dump but that has not happened.
5583  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptobanks Future? on: April 03, 2019, 04:00:14 PM
Crypto Banks have a long way to go before they could ever attempt to surpass the current banking system, the world is not even remotely ready for something of that magnitude. It could definitely carve up a decent chunk of the market share for themselves but it won't even be the future for a long long time, we may not see it in our lifetime to be exact.

The banking system is heavily favoring the banks of our age and they have so much power over not just economy but the whole political aspect of the world that anytime any rival appears they will just bribe the right people and shut down any competition they could get, with that much power and money it is almost impossible to beat those people unless people go against them willingly losing more favorable options.
5584  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: April 03, 2019, 11:35:08 AM
If you check the price of bitcoin today you will know that the value of bitcoin is increasing within 24 hours the price increase from $4100 to $4750, and that is a great increase within a short period of time. That has shown that bitcoin is on the way to becoming the currency of the future with a very high price.
Honestly the increase is on another level, lol but I don’t know if we just entered bull run. Bitcoin is definitely on the way to becoming the future currency and most of us that have been holding will soon have reasons to celebrate.

I was almost tempted to sell out few of my Bitcoin few days ago because I needed money and was worried if there will be hope of rising anytime soon but I just had that confidence that the future of bitcoin is too bright, so I needed just a little patient, and m seeing results already. Bitcoin is here to stay with so many great potentials and only patient investors will be happy at the end.
5585  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as an entertainment thing on: April 02, 2019, 07:13:55 PM
You have to look at it in a different way if that's how you see trading now. Some people really like how trading works and they find it fun to do. These people will find a way to make trading interesting for them even in this kind of market. I consider myself in the middle. Of course when you're making profit, it's fun and if you take your losses with a heavy heart, then it'll be a lot less interesting for the next trades.
In trading, there will always be profit and loss irrespective of the strategy and both are fun to me since my profit will always be more than my loss, I usually don’t get to regret my losses, I just see it as a loophole that show and needs to be  covered in my next trade, every mistakes that I make at any point in time.

I do lots of research on it to see why I failed and how I can overcome that, that is why I keep a journal too beside me to plan and record some of my activities that I fee is necessary to record and at the end of the month, I also go through my journal to see all mistakes made and how to still work further on them and to also see if I have been able to overcome one.
5586  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [VIDEO] - BITCOIN Technical Analysis April - TARGET $5,000 ? Today on: April 01, 2019, 07:23:20 PM
Nice analysis from the youtuber, it is reasonable enough to predict bitcoin will break $5,000 soon if we take a look at the latest price movement. But still, no matter how sure we are about the prediction, we should always be ready for the worst scenario because price may move unexpectedly.
You are right mate, we have to always prepare for the worst because some silly investors might see that price as an opportunity to also dump the coin, especially those that invested heavily when price was $3800 but if we don’t experience any dumping, I don’t think we should expect any worse than the one we are gradually getting out of.

I believe many people were not happy with the bear market and would do anything to make sure the bull trend is sustained by still holding their coins irrespective of the amount it gets to by April. We all should unitedly have a target for BTC, let’s say $50,000 and until we see it come to reality, we should not get our investment out of BTC.
5587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading Cycles on: April 01, 2019, 06:51:07 PM

Does Bitcoin trading follows any cycles?

Came across this article: https://mktcycles.blogspot.com/2019/03/bitcoin-cycles.html

Any thought?
Absolutely not, there is nothing about bitcoin that completely depends on cycle or follow cycle based on my own opinion, very trade with it conditions and that one that he article said “that bitcoin trading has nothing to do with underlying economy, geopolitical conflicts, politics”, these factors are the things also contributing to if a trader will trade or not.

The number of trading or trader in the past will also be different and total amount of trading cap will always be different, so these factors will make it impossible for cryptocurrency trading to follow same cycle except one single action of a whale keeps repeating itself at a set time which I really doubt any whale will even pick a particular time to control the market.
5588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All life with cryptocurrency on: March 31, 2019, 07:47:05 PM
When you are talking about inhabitants, are you trying to tell us that one day, goat, chickens and other animals will actually know how to make use of the blockchain or are you just giving a figure of speech because when you talk about the inhabitants of the earth ?

You are not just talking about humans but every living thing on this planet earth which is never possible, though one thing I know for sure is that in years to come 80% of the world population will know about crypto and not just know about crypto but will also be a part of it. But, I do see some special dogs and cats are using mobile phone and television which are done for entertainment purposes. This way, why not they may get trained for actual usage of blockchain too ?

Cryptos are evolving and may become as an omnipresent thing one day or other. Also, I am sure blockchain technology may evolve for the welfare of everyone else in this planet by providing a platform for it.
It will surely still become a part of them do and will always have something to do with them because you will need crypto before you can have full access to that goat, chicken, dog and animals you mentioned, even to lands and many more, everything will depend on cryptocurrency to be able to have access to them

So, it has indirectly become a part of their life too and it doesn’t mean crypto is not available to them too, they simply lack the knowledge to use it and that is why we humans are like higher animals to them because of the knowledge God has placed in us but I am sure the OP is talking about humans.
5589  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The crypto market is improving and green. on: March 31, 2019, 06:54:40 PM
It is amazing the way the market has started becoming green especially when you look at it from the point of bitcoin, it is drastic movement for the past few days shows that we have lots of investors coming in.

I think it’s acceleration could also be as a result of so many fundamental factors that are lining up for the year which most of them will start manifesting once we are approaching the middle of the year, since many investors has finally seen that bitcoin has already bottom and will no longer go low, the need to start investing before it gets too late became high and this is the result we are seeing from their actions.
5590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Is straying deceitfully from the ideologies of Blockchain technology on: March 31, 2019, 06:10:08 PM
In all these, one thing is sacrosanct, the crypto space is vast and offers unlimited opportunities. I am certain that if binance don't realise timely these core principles of blockchain technology, it won't be long before their popularity would begin to wayne as people would seek other exchanges that would accommodate the collective community interest in the spirit of financial inclusion and equitable wealth distribution
It is really a good thing for what they are doing and everyone new this and gave them the kudos when they first introduced it, many investors started having hope again in crowd funding projects but I think that they are beginning to blow it out of proportion by introducing minimum amount an investor can bring in.

This is more like creating a segregated system because only rich people can afford to make investment, 1600 dollars is way too much to commit in one project, many people will end up practicing a lot of dumping at the lightest opportunity they get in order to be able to invest in other projects.
5591  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC might do something nice soon. TA only ( No crystal Ball/s) on: March 30, 2019, 08:23:00 AM
Throughout history (July 2010 ) up to now, every time price closed above the weekly 20SMA (yellow), it always heads straight to 50SMA (Red) ,by always i mean ,every single time. ( couldn't zoom out the chart to show <2014 but the same thing happened before that too, you can check the chart yourself)

Although history tends to repeat itself, I will warn traders to be very careful. The last year was unusual, the market moves were not always as expected.
While a "valid" rise is indeed possible, as @omonuyak also said, there's quite a chance for a bull trap too.
Even if history repeat itself now, I will still not believe that trend as a major role in the price of bitcoin because if it is trend, then we have a company already established to be manipulating bitcoin which is impossible, even the whales will not always come into the cryptocurrency and peradventure they even come in again, it will be a different whales entirely and not be previous ones.

Hence, I think what is just happening to bitcoin now or what will happens to it that will make its price is just simply human efforts and contribution to its present status, though some factors will still come into play too this time from the past events.
5592  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 4-year cycle is it real? Probable end year rally for Bitcoin on: March 30, 2019, 07:47:31 AM
2019 is really expected to be a very good year for Bitcoin but I don’t think it is based on trend even if it eventually coincided, the events that occurred in the past that brought about past event has come and gone.

The new events of these time are what will see to it that Cryptocurrency witness major recovery from the current bear market we find it, was there Facebook coin during that time, was there visa adoption of crypto, was there Binance Launchpad, was there Samsung S10 crypto wallet, so whatever affected the price then has done its part and waiting from the new events to take over, so let’s keep our finger crossed and see what happens from here.
I honestly still don’t get why most investors keeps watching out for trend and believing whatever trend that played out in the past will also play same role again, well the market cannot be predicted so we find ourselves in a market where anything can happen but I think the forces behind value decision of Bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency is what you have said, the major determinant of its value will be what people are presently doing with it and the volume of Bitcoin the get engage in daily, what will now determine if we will experience a decline or increase in price is if the volume that is affecting the market is a BUY volume or SELL volume.

5594  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with crypto or fiats? the right one? Your experience? on: March 27, 2019, 08:43:51 PM
I trade with crypto currencies. I have a small experience in it. The amount of profit i get is very less but yes it depends on the amount of investment i make. I have seen my friends trade with fiats at currency market. The amount of profit they receive is more than i do. The main thing is, the investment they make is lesser than i make.

Kindly share your experience?
What are you talking about fiat trading? Are you talking about forex trading or something? I never tried forex but there were some people says that forex trading is good, less volatile than cryptocurrency. But, I use the volatility of cryptocurrency for my own good. Cryptocurrency is volatile right? And with high volatility, the higher the chance I can get a lot of profits.
This is actually one of the greatest advantage of trading crypto currency over Fiat provided one knows how to trade well because in the other way round too, because of the volatility in cryptocurrency, the loss in it when margin trade goes wrong can be more disastrous than fiat margin trading but for the profit part of it.

If one trades with the same amount on both, a person that trades crypto has the tendency of making 10x more than fiat traders. For newbies though, I think it is safer for them to trade currencies that is less volatile and it is only fiat that can guarantee them till we have stable coins in the market.
5595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New project in 2019? on: March 24, 2019, 08:15:08 PM
it's still 50-50 if I say it today, and surely many don't believe it before the bull run really comes. so I suggest you see it on bountyhive.io  Wink
I think the projects in Bountyhive don't all look interesting, some are not clear, in my opinion, btw I also use Bountyhive to follow the campaign but I only choose clear projects such as links from blockmason, because blockmason has good potential
Well, bountyhives has been very reliable when it comes to quick and fast token sharing but I have not used them this year in project selection because I realized that most of the ICO I participated in last year, virtually all of them has not entered exchanges, though their platforms are still on but I am wondering why they chose not to enter exchange, even in this bear market, I have participated in lots of project that has entered exchanges and still in exchanges though 30% of them are already shitcoins that end up getting delisted from major exchanges overtime.

I am still waiting for the ones I accumulated through them to enter exchanges before I can conclude if they are reliable or not.
5596  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Believe Bitcoin Will Rise Again? on: March 19, 2019, 08:51:26 PM
Bitcoin has proved to be a mighty digital currency, but the real story of the future is Blockchain technology. No doubt, Bitcoin is an excellent means of exchange, but not very good at the store of value. The future is likely to be based on the blockchain technique.
But, bitcoin will be the Major currency representing the blockchain technology we speak about,  it will always be the major payment mechanism for it.

When we talk about the blockchain technology, not many people understand it fully just hearing it but the practical effect of it through BTC makes it understandable more and reason why all glory will always go to the king of cryptcurrency which is Bitcoin for the major role it played in securing blockchain adoption worldwide.
5597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S10 Blockchain Wallet Supports Ethereum, not Bitcoin on: March 19, 2019, 06:09:07 PM
Ethereum has so many token inside, maybe that is part of marketing to increase product selling. With many people using token built on ethereum protocol, they might think that people will buy their phones. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
I do not think that it is marketing so that the cellphone is in demand, because Samsung already have a big fans
If that is their marketing technique why not add a bitcoin wallet too? because it is clear that there are more bitcoin enthusiasts than ETH
They might have some sort of partnership with ethereum and that is why the pick based on my own opinion, but whatever their action is still does not affect BTC in anyway, I just cunt it as ethereum gaining one more strong communities which BTC too has other strong communities engaging in BTC on a daily basis, and looking at the Samsung blockchain wallet which is on Samsung  S10 ALONE, we need to consider the population of the S10 community and if the holders of the S10 will have any use for the wallet since many of them are already on BTC system.
5598  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do a lot of western governments like bitcoin and dislike banks? on: March 19, 2019, 04:40:50 PM
Our government in Croatia probably did not even know what is Bitcoin, they are pretty negative about this promising technology, and mostly did not care about blockchain and Bitcoin. I think that they have totally wrong approach.
Same as Croatia more countries around the world oppose bitcoin without knowing better about the technology and the need for the cryptocurrency. Slowly the ban gets lifted from the countries helping with the increasing adoption and use in the global market.
Adoption by citizens will gradually be the proof to governments that they have no choice than to adopt it too if they don’t want the banking institution generally to become useless.

Most individuals and merchants are now seriously introducing the use of crypto currencies as payment, some are gradually introducing the crypto debit card services for the withdrawing of cryptocurrencies, all these will eventually push the government into it too since it is a system they cannot control even when they tend to ban it.
5599  Economy / Speculation / Re: 'Bitcoin will run up to $5,000 by May' on: March 19, 2019, 10:23:17 AM
After reading the title, I was hoping this would be a post with analysis and interpretations on why the price should get to $5000, and not some wishful thinking or expert opinion.
Let's try and stick to chart analysis, and desist from spreading shills or fud created by the supposed experts.
Though we consider that it is coming from analysis or what ever his basis  but its all subject for a change cause we know that this only some way of speculating for the incoming and considering also the fact that we are in volatile market.
Though we are too positive to have bull run this year but it could be better not to think it for now, it is pretty good to have it surprisingly.
The market is manipulative, and with that in mind people intend to contribute through speculations. Earlier the market used to react better to the speculations, now things have changed same as that of people around won't get into panic sell when some whales try to shatter the market. Now the growth is real and some positive news will give good price pumping.
I often tell people who do not believe me that we might not experience sharp pump in BTC prices again because the system is functioning perfectly well now the way it should run.

A lot of investor too are beginning to go into cryptocurrency investment as a long term investment and already understood how the system works, so it will be a bit difficult now for whales to panic people into selling, We are already at war with the whales, we will all wait till we see the gradual increase in price of BTC.
5600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are not fighting with post-ICO scams? on: March 19, 2019, 08:08:10 AM
Many countries have not adopted a law on cryptocurrency. This means that it has no legal force in the state. So you can't do anything here. Just need to be careful and attentive.
Scammers will still be at large even when they decide to adopt a cryptocurrency law even in the centralized market that has all sort of rules and regulations, the rate of scams everywhere is alarming, this is a bad practice we cannot really fish out completely.

But like you said, it is now left for the investor to be very careful in choice of project and not be greedy, most of these people that are full of regrets now after falling into the arms of these scams are greedy, I am not saying all but big percentage of them, that is why they see a coin that seems promising to them and invest very large amount of money without splitting the risk.
