The performance of Real Madrid last night against Barcelona looks very strange to me but at the end of the game I read in papers where some of the players confirmed that they played as if they were playing finals and that was the instruction of their coach.
Real Madrid team and management know that they have not been very good this season as it is obvious from their La Liga games, they know that they have lost any chances of winning the La Liga, their best chances to win something is the champions league and the Copa del Rey. Every game is a preparation for the other game, and with this win, the confidence of the players and Benzena who scored a Hat trick will be up in readiness for their important champions league game and in their next game in the Copa del Rey. Real Madrid over the years has shown that they're a club with strong winning mentality and on several occasions has they turned around matches that almost everyone thinks they've lost out and deliver incredible performances to end up as winners and such characteristics is very rare in modern day football. I know vividly well that he's the significant brain behind Frank Lampard's new contract as chelsea supervisory coach. Lampard may do well during these few periods but his success story may not last in the next season if peradventure his performance in this short period is convincing enough to give him a permanent contract. Chelsea as an elite club needs experienced coaches not the likes of Frank Lampard.
A temporary solution is better than none or some for which you then have to pay a lot of money (termination of the contract). There are rumors that Nagelsmann will lead the team in the summer, and now he wants to rest until the end of the season (or just does not want to get under the Real Madrid ice rink). But there are also rumors that PSG also want to sign Nagelsmann. Will he, like Mbappe, negotiate for himself the best conditions from two rich clubs? Cunningly! Also, out of the last 10 matches, they won only 5 matches, lost three more and drew twice, lacking stability, but these losses were from City, Manchester United and Liverpool, so perhaps this is quite natural. Newcastle have every chance to finish the season in the top 4, this is quite an attainable goal. Newcastle is very smart in minimizing mistakes so they don't lose points and that's why until now they are able to be at the top of the standings and are still competing fiercely to be able to enter or finish in the top 4 of the standings. the big win against West Ham was inseparable from the poor performance of the home team and this was used very well by Newcastle to be able to win with a convincing score. Eddie Howe is doing exceptionally well but I will say new castle management did pretty well during the last transfer window. They were ver selective in the transfer window and a good percentage of the players are extremely productive. What a great performance by Real madrid. Beating Barcelona 4-0 was a big score and a big win for Real Madrid. Barcelona is a much stronger team than Real Madrid and Barcelona team has many good players so Barcelona always plays very well. And Barcelona are in the number one position in the LaLiga league with the highest points difference which is 12 points more than Real Madrid. I thought and my prediction indicated that Barcelona would beat Real Madrid by one goal. But a different picture was seen here. Real Madrid beat Barcelona by 4-0. It was really incredible

To be honest, Leipzig really played very well and excelled in many areas. Leipzig's victory over Dortmund 2 - 0 certainly dealt a crushing blow to Dortmund. Real Madrid really deserved the victory, because they didn't allowed Barcelona to score a single goal from the match to prove to people that the injuries some of their players had some months ago that affected some of their potential players not to performed well that gave Barcelona to defeated them 2-1 in the first leg. Real Madrid were able to used all their potential players to played the second leg to defeated Barcelona 4-0 which is a sign that Real Madrid may have something reasonable to achieve in this tournament. Barcelona performance was very poor in this second leg which their coach need to apply some skills that will improve their performance in their remaining matches.
It's quite true. That was a bad performance for FCB. Apart from any other fact, it will be a big blow for Real Madrid if they allow Barcelona to record another win against them this season d they eserves this winning more because they haven't been happy after playing Barca for their past 3 clashes. The next matches are Lens against Strasbourg and Marseille against Lorient, I'm sure Lens can win those matches but I'm not sure how Marseille will win, he has to win if he doesn't want to be completely moved by Lens.
Previously, I was quite surprised by the position of the top team in the standings, especially Lens and Marseille, both of whom have the same number of points. This must be because Marseille was held to a draw by Montpellier in last week's game. For Lens, they took second place after they were quite choked up at the beginning of last February, they didn't get maximum results. In the next match, Lens will face an opponent that I think is quite easy, Strasbourg, so victory is likely to be closer to Lens. On the other hand, Marseille will face Lorient which in my opinion will be quite a troublesome opponent, if Marseille can get full points in this match then they will again compete with Lens. At this moment Lens is the favorite to win because in fact, so far this season Lens is the best team for home matches. So, playing against Strasbourg which is in the bottom zone, of course Lens should be able to win in this match, because from the available odds it is clear that the chance for Strasbourg is indeed difficult to gain points in this match. But, if I consider the head to head in their last three meetings, the reality is Lens can't beat Strasbourg at all. Lazio vs Juventus will be a tight match. Both teams perform very well currently. Although Lazio is in 2nd place, I don't think that Lazio is better than Juventus. Juventus is just unlucky because he got a problem, so they lose many points. But if we consider the squad quality, I think Juventus squad is much better than Lazio squad. I see no chance of underestimating Lazio this season. I would even say that Lazio is the most consistent team in Serie A at the moment. They are unbeaten in the last 6 matches. And they have beaten big teams like Napoli and Roma in recent times. Lazio fully deserved to win against Juventus. Juventus have a strong squad no doubt. However, it will be challenging for Juventus players to beat Lazio at home. Lazio players are in good form. They will be more confident in home matches. Both teams will have equal chances of winning the match. But if Lazio can score the first goal of the match I guess they will win. Being consistent and defeating big team's will not determine this match. it's Juventus we are talking about here. Even from the odds given by book makers you see that juventus being the visiting team still has winning advantage. Lazio are exceptionally great this season but they wouldn't have been in that position if points were not deducted from Juv. Juventus I know still has a strong affinity for the top 4, and with 4 points different from Atalanta I think they will be eagerly playing to secure more points from this match in order to achieve that. Lukaku's red card is a disgrace! he was insulted throughout the match he played and only because he cheered under the Juventus fans did he receive the second yellow card of the match and expulsion, but when Cuadrado scored who started dancing in front of the Inter fans he was not been warned! so the referee used two meters and two measures as they say. in my opinion the game was balanced from the beginning. the passage of the round will be decreed at san siro in the return match

It seems that I am behind with Bayern Munich vs Dortmund victory. Even I was surprised they were able to win 4-2. A great start for Tuchel he could immediately prove himself a World coach. Chelsea should have lost because they let him go. Tuchel managed to make Munich continue to press until winning 4-0.
But after winning big, Munich dropped the game and they shouldn't. Hopefully of course Tuchel can be consistent, he must not make small mistakes so that he loses points again. If that happens, Dortmund will return to the top again.

The manner at which he influences the mentality of his team is another factor that stands him our from other managers. Having this type of air in the league where teams do not know if PSG is doing well enough or not, made the rest of them not so great neither. I mean that's what happens when a good team leads the league, because you are not entirely sure if you should chase or not, when you try to chase and they end up with a better result, you feel like you are never going to catch up to them and makes you feel bad, and when you lose and they lose as well, you feel like you missed a big chance and that makes you feel even worse.
Only thing that could make you feel better is to win when they lose and that rarely could happen since they lose so rarely, and that's why it's a hard job.
PSG has lost for the second time after being humiliated against Rennes before and yesterday was beaten again by Lyon even though we know that PSG have a lot of great players but can't beat them, I think PSG needs to make changes to tactics so they don't suffer consecutive defeats, even though PSG still at the top of the standings but this must be taken seriously, PSG must completely overhaul in the future so as not to suffer previous defeats. Paris Saint Germain's tactical unbalance this season is as a result of the mentality and work rate of their manager and that's where they were dumbed out of Europe by Bayern Munich in the round of 16. Christophe Galtier isn't the best man for the PSG job and he must accept it and leave the club at the end of the season.
