5581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: August 03, 2019, 02:46:18 AM
My first thought was to put it in to Altcoins, Like
Ethereum
RSR
Theta
EOS

These would be my picks 100% Which coin would you leave out or add to that?

I was also thinking
Of Buying a Masternode and run it on a Vps, but I have 0 experience with that and I was looking for one and joined a few discords, and it was kinda a shitshow.
So I dont know how to look for good ones yet and it's a bigger risk then Altcoins in my opinion from what I have seen.
Does anybody have any experience with running a Masternode and how did that go for you?

A mining rig is probably to expensive, also the powercosts in my country are not that great so not really a option I think.

Create my own T-shirt Company
I know a Artist I could pay for a design or maybe even a collaboration where he could earn a % of the sales from the t-shirts.
Also have the fabric I want and all the idea's ready to go, this would probably be the most work, creating social media's, trying to get in retail stores, create a brand, and a lot more of course!

If you have any other ideas your welcome to add them, and let me know what you would do!

I would advise you to invest $700 in bitcoins, and $300 in Ethereum as these two coins are really good and have given good returns over a period of time. As you don’t have the necessary experience for masternode, and mining rig I feel you should not invest in them otherwise you’ll end up burning your funds. The T-Shirt industry is very saturated you won’t be able to generate much sales, hence avoid it.
5582  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to get merit to a newbie, Like me on: August 02, 2019, 05:12:00 PM
Good day, I just created this new account a few minutes ago.
So the first thing that came to your mind was how to get merits? Makes me wonder that you are not new to this forum at all. Roll Eyes

Quote
Anyone can suggest how to get merit.
If you are going to be one of those people who try to "hunt" for merit, then you wont get any, I am sorry. This is a forum and a forum is meant for discussions. Take part in discussions in as many sections as your knowledge allows you to and, someday, just someday, some kind hearted soul will grant you some merits.

Quote
And what is the purpose of getting merit?
Honestly no purpose at all. Merits dont restrict you from posting in this forum. But they help you rank up. If you want to know more search this forum and make it a habit to read more than type. Tongue

@TheUltraElite you caught him in the first line this account looks like an alt to me, and I believe that this account has been created with the sole purpose of transferring merits to the original account holder. As many before me have correctly said there’s no need to hunt for merits, one should simply keep making constructive posts and then merits will automatically come. The only purpose of merits is to stop spamming on this forum, and compel users to make constructive posts and so far it seems to be doing a good job.
5583  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy or sell? on: August 02, 2019, 12:36:44 PM
As we noticed the price volatility of Bitcoin when it reached ($13k, the highest price for this year at the moment) and then suddenly the price drops at $9k.

And today bitcoin price is about $9,900. So I'm just wondering 🤔 is it now the great time to buy bitcoin or should I sell? Can you give me some of your opinions? Thanks in advance. 😁

Bitcoin prices are always volatile they’re never stable, and the price swings you have mentioned are really normal, now about your question I would recommend you to simply hodl them. If you see currently prices are $10500 at preev, and it seems to me that they’ll only rise further. I would advise you to buy on every dibs, hence if prices come down again to $9300 levels then you can buy it.
5584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: International Champions Cup 2019 - Discussion thread on: August 02, 2019, 10:47:37 AM
Bayern seems to be in an incredible performance and they are likely to have an amazing road towards the Champions League final next season!

That's too early to say. Many believe Bayern at least go to the semis last season when in fact they lost to Liverpool at home, without scoring anything (Liverpool made an own goal).

Everything is still possible.

I’ll second that as it’s too early in the season to predict that Bayern Munich will reach the finals of Champions League. As we all saw in thier match against Tottenham that they only managed to draw and then lost out on penalties, if a team like theirs wishes to reach the finals then they need to perform better.

Does anyone else think that all these friendly tournaments In Asia or USA are just a waste of time and a money making machine? Elite clubs have forgotten how a real pre-season preparation should look like. It should be about going to a remote resort high up in the mountains, training in a nice climate and getting in shape for the new season.

What they are doing now is promoting their brands internationally, flying around the States and Asia getting jet legged, constantly tired from the travels, playing in hot and humid conditions.

@Pmalek this is modern day football all clubs need to be making money, and these tournaments make them lots of money. In my personal opinion I like them because I get to see all new arrivals, and different tactics that clubs may use once the season starts.

If one were to have requested a permanent self ban months ago, which was obliged and stated that it was irreversible, would one then be able to create a new account now or will that be a problem with the T&C? If one were to then withdrawal from this new account would it be flagged or something and not allowed through orrr?

It will definitely create a problem for that user as thier system, would consider the second account an alt of the first one and eventually it’ll be banned. In the meantime if that user was to deposit funds and win, then too he would not get paid by FJ for breaking their policies. I’m not sure if one can ask the support staff to delete his old account and allow him to use their new account on FJ, you can inquire this with their support staff.
5586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: August 02, 2019, 03:01:40 AM
Today Smith done great job for Australia as he was on fire even on other side no one give him any support we can say he is really great player of this time 280 is not bad at all but now Australia need to do some good bowling if they want to stay in this match because England battling line is very good and healthy.
Smith showed his level of class. He is genius in test cricket. 284 is a significant move for them since they were almost getting packed within 150 at some point.
I don't think England batsman will be much effective. They mostly are a little aggressive player which I don't like and they will likely be packed within 300.

Smith was phenomenal with his bat he calmly played his game even when wickets kept falling at the other end, had he received some support from other batsmen Australia could have easily scored 400+ runs. England have scored 10 runs without loosing a wicket, and I expect them to cross Australia’s total with ease, though I’m not expecting them to score more than 450 runs. However situation may change if Australia gets early wickets then England will be pushed on the back foot, hence a lot will depend on how Australian bowlers bowl.
5587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 01, 2019, 04:51:29 PM
Ronaldo nominated for Ballon d'Or, how do you feel that?

It was expected imo. His impact at Juventus was great, even though they failed to win the Champions League. Messi & Ronaldo might always be nominated for the next 3-4 years if they keep performing like today.

Let's see what he could do for Juventus next season.

I would have been surprised if he wasn’t nominated for it, because he performed exceptionally well for Juventus his nomination was expected. Even though he’s been nominated I don’t expect him to win it, as I’m personally hoping that Virgil Van Dijk wins it . @joniboini he’s going to get them the league title, and hopefully a place in Champions League finals.

Liverpool VS Man. City

14:00 GMT, August 4th, 2019

This will be the first time these two sides have met in the Community Shield, with the Reds being the second-most decorated club in the annual competition’s history, boasting 15 wins, while the defending champions have enjoyed success just five times.

This is a match that largely needs no introduction, such was the ferocity and waspish pace that these two sides went toe-to-toe for the Premier League title last season.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were edged by Guardiola’s all-conquering domestic juggernaut by just the single point, while further woe was added to their cause knowing that the highly-coveted gong would have been in the Anfield trophy cabinet in 25 of the previous 27 years – the club’s points tally was the third-highest since the Premier League’s inception in 1992.

They lost just the single match – against City – and had the best defensive record, making Guardiola’s achievements all the more emphatic.

With the new Premier League season just around the corner, fans will be hoping that the club’s top performers and star players from each side are ready to hit the ground running as soon as they take to the turf.

But can we expect both sides to be firing on all cylinders come Sunday? Perhaps not. Despite no World Cup dominating our screens this summer, there have been a number of other elite international competitions taking place across the globe, including the Africa Cup of Nations, the Concacaf Gold Cup and Copa America.
As such, a number of key players from each side have been absent for most of pre-season and are now enjoying extended breaks before returning to club football.

With Klopp already conceding that he does not expect his side to be at their best, coupled with their recent defeats in pre-season, this may prove a match in which City assert an early dominance on the forthcoming season and cement their intentions to clinch more domestic silverware.

I'm going to bet for this match. What's your opinion about this match? Welcome to share your ideas, so that we can accumulate wisdom to have a higher possibility to win!  Grin Grin

Manchester City vs Liverpool it should be an entertaining game, because of their intense rivalry that we witnessed last season. I have decided to place a bet on Liverpool to win this game and my primary reason is that Liverpool players will be more motivated to win, because they lost the Premier League title to City that too just by a point. My second reason is that I believe Pep may be more interested in defending his Premier League title and not risk his players getting injured, hence he might play a weakened team upfront.
5589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 01, 2019, 10:15:55 AM
I am going to make a bold prediction and say that one of the six teams that haven't been relegated since 1992 will be booted out of the EPL this season (one of these:Manchester United Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs or Everton).
Is this true or just a joke? is it possible that something like that happened. I am really curious about this, because I did not find anything on Google related to this.

That's not possible...
There are many other teams that are weaker in the league and probably those will be relegated. The top teams will struggle for the championship not for the relegation...

It’s a lame joke or it’s quiet possible that he doesn’t even watch the premier league, but yet he decided to make a post about it. @Indamuck I hope you’re aware that Liverpool finished second in the Premier League last year, and they have one of the best squad in the league, now I’m awaiting @LFC_Bitcoin reaction on this.

My Sunday sorted  Cool

I’m not sure if you’ll believe it or not but I had an intuition you would be going for this match, it’s bound to be an exciting match and I hope Liverpool wins it tired of seeing Pep win everytime also do post photos if you can.
5590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 01, 2019, 07:56:03 AM
I think that Lukaku fits better Serie A and Dybala the Premier League.
Lukaku is strong as Serie A needs and Dybala is fast that it is needed in EPL.
This exchange is going to be good for fans that like to watch football in those leagues.

Not really, here Juventus fans we are hating this negotiation.

Basically, we are ok selling Dybala (not everyone) but not for Lukaku, we can't see him a good player even if he could be a good partner for CR7 he will be a bad player for Sarriball.

Lukaku is a great striker just look at his stats when he was playing for Everton and it’s no surprise that Juventus want him, all they’ll need to do is feed the ball to him and he’ll give them goals and more goals. Dybala has the instinct to score goals which Manchester United is currently lacking, and he’ll be a welcome addition to the club. This deal will be good for both stars as they’ll get more playing time, and hopefully they’ll help their respective clubs win titles this season.

5591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2016/17 on: August 01, 2019, 03:15:00 AM
Right, they're looking for the best option for this transfer. Because of the failure to transfer to the Chinese club, there are two options that Bale must choose for his future.

• First option is to find another Chinese League club.
• Another option is to find a new club in the Premier League.

This is just an option, but if there is something better for Bale to do for his current status, it will be even better.

With the condition of Bale who is always injured and an age factor. better choose the first option to continue his football career. Because if the other options are certainly not suitable for EPL with the current bale conditions.

One thing I dont understand here with Bale, they wanted him out they got offer and they refuse the offers. So what RM is doing. Do they want him or not, its obvious that Zidane is not counting on him as he stated this not so long ago, with this statement why they didnt realize the transfers in first place.

China Super League window has closed so he’ll not be joining any Chinese club during this transfer window, also no premier league club can afford his wages so both of your options are ruled out. There’s only one club that can buy him and that’s PSG, but for that to happen they’ll need to sell Neymar. Real Madrid indeed wanted to sell Bale but the Chinese club failed to pay the right amount, and hence they lost out on Bale.

I noticed for next month there will be a special day for stake.com so it maybe near to birthday of this casino and small bonus received through my email yesterday and i wish there will be more than small giveaway to celebrate the day

Yes it will be Stake's 2nd Anniversary Wink

🎂 Birthday Challenge 1| https://forum.stake.com/topic/24084-%E2%80%8B%F0%9F%8E%82%E2%80%8B-005-btc-lets-get-this-party-starteddice-challenge-30th-july/
Can you believe on August 8th Stake is already turning 2 years old?
We'll be counting down with a new challenge every day!
This is going to be the best birthday yet so don't miss out on this celebration and come win some prizes! 🎉

Wow the 2nd year anniversary of stake is really near, I got also a bonus last two days ago and I recieved XRP coin and I tried to play it and  in the first roll I won but after few roll all gone but thank you for the bonus. It is for the all stake user or random user only who get the bonus for the anniversary. Im looking for more bonus before August 8 and during.

They are for those users who wagered between the last coupon and new one.
Also coupon bonuses differ from wagering amounts.
As if you wager more you will get a better bonus.

Two years already time really flew and in these two years Stake has made a name for itself, and I hope it continues to dole out bonuses and contest like these more often. If I understand correctly then each day there’ll be a different contest, but will we see a huge contest on 8th August bigger than what we will be seeing from 1 - 7th August as that day Stake came into existence?.
5593  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: [Warning]: Another Electrum Phishing site on the loose on: July 30, 2019, 05:23:44 PM
@cryptonia claims that he ended up on the phishing site by openning and old electrum wallet he had, which asked him to perform an update. @The Pharmacist also received recently the same popup notification, but fortunately his antivirus flagged the downloads malware, and he was therefore able to abort the update (see So I got scammed with the electrum wallet scam). Reading through the thread, it’s not clear if it is a new case or an old one resurfaced/not eradicated from old wallets lacking update.

Thanks a lot op for this thread it’ll definitely help people keep their coins safe, and not loose them to a phishing scam. I personally feel if we use Electrums mobile application we can avoid being scammed, as most of these scams were done via a fake site. @DdmrDdmr it has to be the old scam as Electrum had issued a fresh update and asked it users to update their wallets version, the old wallets were redirected to the phishing site.

No KYC verification
No COUNTRY Restrictions
Bet anonymously

You can't call it anonymous or no country restriction and ask for a phone number before giving someone an account.

It should default a new visitor to a new account they can choose to keep by entering their email address.

Nitrogen Sports has done this with bitcoin sports betting for years and its great for letting people see the site easily and allows you to keep an account if you're gambling a lot.

@SportOdyssey first of all buy yourself a copper membership, and then hire someone to design an ANN which will contain information about your site. As @CryptoGamblingSites has rightly said asking for phone number is a big turn off, and you’ll not get many members from here to gamble on your site hence consider removing it. Lastly announce a giveaway or a contest for members, as that’ll attract more members to register and gamble on your site.

5595  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Retakes $10K But Remains Short of Bull Revival on: July 30, 2019, 09:53:15 AM
It had been quite a slow swing this past few days. But now that it regained, there might be possibility for a bull run too. Or could this be the bull run already and is now going uptrend?

Profits have been taken and it might be possible that some are buying back seeing a slow dump which may also cause FOMO to other traders and large investors.
Yes, breaking the ATH for this month could be the answer and if it does happen then we might be also seeing a continues increase in value in the month of August.

Bitcoin prices are tanking continuously and they have broken the support levels of $9500, it seems to me that bears have once again taken control of the market. According to newsbtc article bitcoin prices can swing in any direction, but if it falls then they’re expecting it to fall to $8k levels. In my personal opinion if bitcoin prices touches $8k, then we may witness lots of panic sales which will further add pressure on bitcoin prices.

5596  Other / Politics & Society / Re: conspiracy of Area 51? on: July 30, 2019, 05:35:49 AM
I do not believe that aliens are explored there.  Roll Eyes
But new technologies are being developed there, since this area is far from prying eyes.
And the rumors that spread the newspaper make from this place is not a bad advertisement that attracts tourists who believe in these tales.

Aliens are not there in Area 51 and these conspiracies are really dumb, I hope people do not fall for it and abort their plans to raid Area 51 on September 20. While I do understand people’s curiosity regarding this particular base as it was hidden from public eyes till 2013, but I feel US miltary may shoot people if they try to trespass it. This particular base has been used to test technologies, and bombs used by US miltary hence people should stop believing in those conspiracies.

5597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can lost Bitcoins be traced? on: July 30, 2019, 02:48:44 AM
I'm not sure if it's really possible to trace lost or stolen Bitcoins. As far as I know it's impossible to return them, but who knows... I saw some threads where people were talking about Bitcoins recovering, that you can take your hardware and show it to a specialist who will restore coins for you. But I'm not sure about it.

I don’t think there’s any mechanism for recovering lost coins, because no one has successfully ever recovered their lost coins yet. The only thing you can see is the address where your coins went, but what’s the point you’ll never know who the owner is and once the transaction is done it’s irreversible. Who’re these hardware guys never heard of them before, can you provide link to the thread you have mentioned?.
5598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bank Of China Is Promoting Bitcoin And It Sounds Very Bullish! on: July 29, 2019, 05:10:58 PM
Bank Of China, one of the China's state owned banks is educating their citizens about bitcoin, explaining how it works, why bitcoin has a value, why the price is going up and it sounds very bullish. Yesterday bank of China published an infographic article. The infographic is explained in three parts. In the first part it explains the history and a white paper, mining, how it works, benefits of using bitcoin. The second part explainst the historical price and volatility. The third part explains bitcoin's adoption! This looks like China is more open for bitcoin. Maybe we are at the begining of something big here.

https://openapi.boc.cn/inews/index.html?from=singlemessage&isappinstalled=0#/authorPageDetail/1000899?channelId=110000&fromShare=1&inComeSource=zyzq-main

I can’t believe it that Bank of China is promoting Bitcoin, and if they continue to promote it at this rate then it’s quiet possible that China may soon consider bitcoin as a legal tender. It’s strange that this news failed to lift bitcoins prices, do you’ll think that in coming days bitcoin prices will rally because of this move by Bank of China. Do you believe that now people in China will invest more in bitcoins, or it’ll have no effect on the way they’re currently investing in bitcoins.
5599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: July 29, 2019, 01:17:03 PM
Most of the followers for both Pacquiao and Mayweather wanted to hear another rematch plan for them. It seems to be hype creation to gather demand from supporters. Although we heard lots of statement coming from Floyd, which gives trash talks on the champ Manny. In reality they're not enemies but friends  for real, but they're not showing it publicly just to preserve privacy for their career status.

Pacquiao vs Mayweather rematch will be a dream fight for all the fans, and I reckon it’ll take place next year only as Manny had said he’ll participate in a fight next year. The trash talks is the new marketing norm as fans like these talks, and it increases the excitement for the match so I expect this will continue. I’m personally hoping that Manny will be fit this time round and he’ll be able knock out Mayweather, and not start the match injured like he was last time.

5600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun and a rumor around him on: July 29, 2019, 10:59:33 AM
Hello everyone! I was interested in the news about the accusation of Justin San by the Chinese media 21st Century Business Herald. I respect Justin and his company TRON, which is well developed in the crypto market, but I did not understand why the media suddenly accused the man of money laundering and fraud. What was that? Huh Huh Huh Or is it an attempt by haters to create FUD around TRON to hurt the company and to lower the price of the coin (if yes, that was successful, TRX price plunges more than 15%)

https://cointelegraph.com/news/tron-price-plunges-as-justin-sun-denies-money-laundering-accusations
These are issues that is an attemp to put him down but they have to prove it in the proper forum and that is in the court. We can't just accuse a guy of doing something in social media without proof.

This is just another baseless accusation giving him and his coins more publicity then they deserve, and this news shall soon be forgotten in few days because the media will stop highlighting it. @zviadits I’m surprised that you said Tron is a well developed coin?, I’ll suggest you to do more research about crypto’s as you seem to be lacking necessary information about them. @zhea I don’t think there’ll be any court case based on this news, also I feel it’s about time we move on from this news.
