Probably because China has been very efficient in improving their economy, they compete with the US and now it seems like they win on this battle against the corona virus. US being the most developed country has now suffered, and after this pandemic, for sure, they'll struggle to recover and maybe that's the time that China will dictate their terms.
This is the challenge for America really because China has started most of their businesses while America is still battling with the problem. The economic power tussle between China and America is something that has been long. We are hoping that everything is resolved |

I guess bitcoin may not keep breaking supports below $6760 levels but may turn bullish from the current levels but all are purely depending on how countries deal with covid19 outbreak. If people start feeling safer against the pandemic then we can have another wonderful April within remaining 9 days.
The 9 days remaining is going to bring us to the halving season. I'm thinking that the bull might come along this season instead of the bear prediction going on lately. Bitcoin has not performed short since the health challenge of the world. |

This is just an app trying to rely on the epidemic situation to advertise and make money. I cannot think of an application that can combat this epidemic.
All we need at the moment is a drug that can combat corona virus, which will require great effort from scientists around the world.
I'm just thinking if the app is for affected people to fill in their data or what really. The government shouldn't be thinking to adopt blockchain now as they have not adopted bitcoin before now. I wish that the vaccine is produced anytime from now so that the world can have peace again at least. |

The cryptocurrency and stock are not the same in my eyes. Volatility is not controlled. Stock is better in investment , you can buy through agents as brokers but you are at your own risk to your own research on cryptocurrency.

$10 per ripple, i wouldn't complain
A dream of a hodlers certainly  I don't see this happening in 5 years from now. Through the crypto rally , I think the highest ripple got to was $3 or close to that. So looking at that record, you see such price of $10 speculation can be in a long time coming. |

Giving a target doesn't matter. But how much of that is a matter of reality. If someone said in 2013 that Bitcoin would go 20k in the future, would you believe it? But in reality it has. I'm very optimistic about bitcoin. I don't want to say anything about price prediction at this time. I want to see the previous ATH cross. Because if the ATH crosses, I think the real game will start.
Somehow too you seem to be pessimistic at the end too to wait for ATH before believing or expecting bitcoin to get as high as that  To say the fact , from your earlier sentence, nobody really believed bitcoin to hit 20k but it did in 2017. Now it is still possible to have a major run above and higher than the already hit ATH and who knows the next price high. |

Why the price of Bitcoin is still down?
Because there is no real adoption yet. What you are seeing about the using of bitcoin to make option for fiat is just temporary. Adoption is going to happen through getting it down in the book and the government endorse it as documented, then fear of using it will go out from majority of the nation who are banning it. |

The situation of global economy is not getting better with this happenings of corona. I hope that America recovers fast too as China has done so that we can start having some economic growth and the crypto turning to green again. Gold is consistent because people believe in gold that it has a stable value and a real store of value for their money.
However, it's too early to make a conclusion, 2020 is not over yet, so there's still a big chance that bitcoin will rise.
The good thing about bitcoin is that it will not only rise 20% or less than 100%, it could rise higher and it's been proven in the past.
If basing only on the graph or related resources, we can't certainly tell what would happen as Bitcoin is full of surprises, we might see a bull run this year.
I like your response about why gold has been stable in value. The government are solidly behind gold. They use gold for many things including jewelry and they have kept an eye constantly on it. They control too, the activities of gold from country to country and this one reason the price is stable, it is part of stock exchange. Fluctuations is because of lack or control. You can't control what happens in bitcoin market and I can't too and so anybody can decide how much bitcoin to sell or withdraw but there is fiat restrictions like dollar or euro.. On the second side, when you say zoom to growth, how do you mean ? |

I'm sure that too much money in the system leads to inflation, this is responding to ops question about printing of money, by economic teaching. With this amount of new USD money in the economy, I believe the BTC and other main cryptos will fly us quickly.
I think this can happen too. America is trying hard to support the people but I don't know if they have reserves already that can take care of this inflow. |

Countries can experience prosperity, and after that experience sunset, it has been so many times. It also happens with currencies, while the influence of the country allows their currency to occupy a dominant position, they will use it to their advantage. But to keep this priority is very difficult.
That is the effect of change which is constant as it is said. Apart from the currency domination, I think this covid-19 issue will cause another change. Change of world dominance because some countries are still struggling to curtail their covid-19 cases while some are already up. |
