561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: September 07, 2017, 11:28:38 PM
personally, just because I always share on my social media and always check the exchange aplication on my smartphone, people around me are curious of it, and ask mi what is bitcoin? and what its advantage for you. Well, I see that people are attracted just for  a bitcoin ( as a new thing for them) and what's it advantage. If one of it are nothing, I bet they wont curious of it at all. So I explain to them a basic knowledge about bitcoin and its advantage for me.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Hassle of Using Bitcoin In Everyday Life on: September 06, 2017, 11:27:09 PM
Is it just me?

Save using gift cards, or the rate app portal, I basically have no choice but to use a bitcoin debit card if I actually want to spend my BTC. I have never actually seen a real store that actually accepts bitcoin. At least a brick and mortar. I live in NC, near the SC border. save the Research Triangle, bitcoin is still absolutely unknown in these parts. Is it better in more metropolitan areas, or is this pretty much the case across the whole US?

we're still in the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin, there just a few merchant in the world that accept it as a payment method, thought because it's still not promising to provide this services. I've never use a bitcoin debit card , but it can be used to local bank ATM, I think I will try it. But still, there still about 3% or less users of crypto currency in this world. And thats why I've said that we're still in the beginning of the rise of cryptocurrency.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really A Currency or An Asset? on: September 06, 2017, 11:18:04 PM
Bitcoin has been touted as a crypto-currency, capable of replacing fiat currencies but the reality today is that most people prefer to hold bitcoins rather than spend it. Can we really say it si a currency when a large number of bitcoin users treat it as an asset?

I can say that bitcoin is a crypto currency , but with its fluctuation , people also using it as an investment or asset that someday they can earn huge profit with it. We are luckly to know about crypto currency technology because we can use it to smalling the difficulty of transaction to one another in whole country, we can also use it for investment by holding it long term. So I think Bitcoin are both of it.
564  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin so the main choice on: September 06, 2017, 03:06:12 AM
why are many people willing to drop their jobs and prefer to focus more on the world of crypto like bitcoin?
I think you have some wrong information. There had been a poll on this topic and as per i know most of the people are willing to do their job as well as focus on bitcoin as part time. Most of the people handle both of them efficiently. Bitcoin has a made many of them millionaire and this might be the reason for " Some " people to leave their jobs and focus on bitcoin .

He's right, probably, many people you've say that  drop their job are people who already gain a huge profit from crypto currency investment. It doesn't make sense if they think they will focus and got more profits if they leave their job, though there's a different, I believe its just a small. With job, you have a steady source of income every week or month, but crypto is just technology that you can investing it, no one know what will happen next with this crypto.
565  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and security on: September 05, 2017, 03:25:44 PM
Enabling 2FA will only protect you from people who are trying to hack you and don't have access to your phone. The real security measures should be taken against the exchange itself, we have seen multiple inside jobs and exchanges being hacked in the past. I believe you are following some kind of strategy while trading? like you trade, get profit and then trade with that profit only? If you are doing something similar then try to keep the least possible of funds inside the exchanges, everything else should go to hardware wallet (since the amount is big).

Well, that was one of my safe trading strategy. I always cash out my investment on crypto currency, until its reach my target, But not all of it, I just cash out my first capital to buy it, and use the profit for doing trade. and Never keep your big mount of crypto currency in the exchange, because all  of your asset, are handled by exchange, and no guarantee it will always safety from hacker.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 05, 2017, 02:59:05 PM
I don't think so, even Bitcoin die for some reason, altcoin may probably continue evolving, since every crypto currencies are having there own special purpose.

nonetheless, I could simply say, that what we continue witnesses with Bitcoin value and feature, dying of Bitcoin was too far to happen.

I totally agree, besides every crypto have their own purpose, they also have a value plus than bitcoin, And that was enough reasons why they should still survive. But there's no need to discuss about a bitcoin end, while I think you're right too, we'll not seeing it happen.
567  Economy / Speculation / Re: reason behind today's bitcoin price fall on: September 05, 2017, 02:10:25 PM
Does anybody know why bitcoin price is falling recently? It went down from $4900 to 4100 already!
How low will it go?
When do you expect bounce back?
I think that we have seen the bottom for this month already, unless some other bad news gets released for instance another country planning on outlawing the participation in ICOs or an exchange shutting down or getting hacked.
Price is currently at $4250, relatively stable around there. I wouldn't mind if it settles at this level at all.
I think thought that we are going to bounce back ot at least 4400 per bitcoin by the end of the month. ICOs aren't that important to the functioning of bitcoin at all, it is simply an investment game that people play. Sooner or later people are going to realize that.

well, it's bad luck for me to see what happen in china that they have banning the use of ICO, while I've just investing in one of ICO . But its just in china right? and that is one of the reasons why the price of all crypto currency are falling. I agreed with your thought that there's no important relation between ICos  and bitcoin, and this dump should not happen for long time I hope.
568  Economy / Economics / Re: Governments and banks are using you on: September 05, 2017, 01:36:36 PM

Everyone that is currently "investing" in BTC and other cryptos are the "crash test dummies" of the future.

Most major banks and many large/wealthy governments are coming up with their own cryptocurrencies.

Why have these entities not released them yet?  Because they are watching, waiting, and learning from all of the mistakes that other cryptos are making.

I've been reading this forum for days and I don't see this big picture addressed except in rare cases.  Almost everyone making predictions truly believes that BTC will be around for 50-100 years let alone 2-3.  Every day that goes by is just one more day that forces and entities with far bigger market caps than $100 billion are learning from all of the mistakes and problems plaguing the existing paradigm.

You might be right, but how long the goverments experiments will end? every moment bitcoin is always developi. It's not like an app in a playstore, if there's a bug, you just need to report it. and what if the goverments already have a perfect resipe for their own crypto currency, do you think people will leaving bitcoin, and going for new crypto soon?. Well that's even also need a process, and it's not quick time.
569  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Kick Every Other Paper Money Out of Business? on: September 05, 2017, 12:51:22 PM
It's okay that bitcoin could beat the gold price, but NO with it's popularity in the whole place, and all economic class. And You ask will bitcoin kick every other paper money. I don't think so, Not even a single one. It's not easy to eliminate all kind of money in a country. there will be an economic changes which has an impact on the country's development. Probably We will not see it happen if its true will happen.
570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Must be Winning! on: September 05, 2017, 12:19:32 PM
I really think that governments have gave up fighting Bitcoin. Maybe they are not embracing it and introducing it fully into system but modern governments in civilized countries will not declare Bitcoin illegal, not anymore. Believe me, this whole negative relation between government and Bitcoin will change soon.

than say the goverments gave up of fighting bitcoin, I think that goverments don't want to fight bitcoin. what I know, there are two kind of government, those who think of people welfare, and those who think of himself. The first camp, is always find a good way for the good of the people in term of economic or other term. And they know that crypto is a future where there will be no cheating in it, that's why they supported it. The second camp are know that bitcoin is a threat. Thats why this both camp are always compete eachother, So the bitcoin still exist. and sometimes pump and dump happen.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginner asks on: September 05, 2017, 08:39:01 AM
Hello to all,
Investing to altcoins, let’s say that I have 0,2 BTC / month to invest. How many different coins should I buy or should I bet all to one horse? Now I am putting 1/3 in three different coins. How many coins is ideal or good to have?
I think there's no ideal amount of coins to have , as long as you're choose the right entry point.  this is just a simple rules in cryptos, buy in the dips. If you want to invest some of your bitcion to alt, I suggest you pick a general alt, like ethereum, litecoin, ripple, or bitcoin cash.

Does the one day exchange work with crypto or is it profitable at all? I mean like I buy at the morning and sell at the evening?
did you mean day trader? Of course it's profitable to do day trading with crypto, but you'll lose a lot of potential of big profit than just hold it long term.

ICO, should ICO invest be more close to 1, 10 or 50 BTC total, or what would you invest if the project would look something good to invest in long term?

I dont know much about the ICO, but I've tried once, It's seems like you just need to be patience for its, even just for return your capital, it's need one semester or even more than a year.
572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I made my first purchase of bitcoin. too little too late :( on: September 05, 2017, 06:31:19 AM

I guess I am too late to the train but I made a small purchase of a fraction of bitcoin lol. I am not rich by any means. Hope this is a good decision lol Wish me luck. Where do you think BTC will be in next 2-4 years?

you're doing great, if you do that right now which the bitcoin price are down about 20%. It's just like a discount time for bitcoin. You can see a volume in your favorite exchange, it shows that  along bitcoin falldown, the volumes are keep rising, it means that if its become cheaper, more and more people are buying it, because they know, that  bitcoin always comeback to the top, but there's no always a green wall for an investation. This time is a red time.
573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The DEATH of Bitcoin Surfaces Again on: September 05, 2017, 04:51:09 AM
Is this the beginning of the death of Bitcoin? Well, the topic is now resurrecting again now that Bitcoin just experienced one of the biggest bloodbaths ever in its trading history. And this the trend right now for the whole cryptocurrency market...we are seeing waves of red all over.
No wonder the FUD community is now having a fiesta...they think that this can be the start of the end of the world...I mean the end of Bitcoin and that it can crashed soon towards the $100 price.
Are they kidding me?

let them speculate that it is the death of bitcoin, but remember, this isn't the first time of bitcoin tragedy, there's a lot of happen in the past, but what happen? bitcoin is always survive and even more expensive than before, this is just a correction because bad news from china. and $100? they're totally joking. I thought even if its reach $2k, I believe there will be a very huge buy wall. This is just a discount time for those who always believe in crypto currency especially bitcoin.
574  Economy / Economics / Re: China will become Super Power ? on: September 04, 2017, 11:02:35 AM
hi .. .Roll Eyes
China will become super power in few years !! sure
First reason is that they are creating everything expect only one thing .. .and the thing is Medical products .. not medical instruments ...
but they are working on them too they will manufacture them too .. !!
and GuyZZZ ? you know ? why china is not raising there currency price ? ? ?  Think .. !! will reveal.

China, I think it's likea plankton in the ocean, there are many of them, but you can't realize them. Is it just me that everywhere I go, City, Country, there's always a chinese there? I agree with you that china will become a super power, because its people are could adapt wherever they are. And why china is not raising there currency, because china intend to make the whole country use its produk even in low price, until they're depends on china product.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: September 04, 2017, 06:45:47 AM
I always think that a cashless is always better than cash. first, I love to do every single of my transaction with debit card than a cash, even since I know bitcoin technology. But the problem is in my country , there still a few merchant that accept it. of course, I'll move on to bitcoin if its already accepted in whole market place. btw, I know some point, why I think cashless is better than cash because :
- Easy to bring, just need 1 card or smartphone (for example)
- you'll always pay with fixed price
- You're safe from thieves / pickpockets  Grin
- Practice.
576  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: September 04, 2017, 12:07:52 AM
It's very hard to time the market, so the easier thing to do is just buy during dips and hold them for a long period of time. The length in which you are willing to hold would also depend on what your target is. If you don't have any short term targets, might as well just hold what you bought and just wait for it to grow in value over the years.
Actually, the best strategies that you could do if you want to gain more income is to hold your bitcoin. In addition to that, holding is one best way to earn and make more income. Holding of bitcoin is an opportunity to become rich. Lastly, just hold your bitcoin and become next millionaire in the future.
Yeah, if we do not have any knowledge about trading and do not want to risk, holding bitcoin will definitely be a wise strategy but if we want to earn more bitcoin, want to become rich, want to become the next millionaire in the future, we should learn about trading right now. Trading altcoin is the shortest way to help us become millionaires, altcoin is often pumped strong, we can hold potential altcoin the same way we hold bitcoin, in a short time, we will be surprised about our profit.

Yeah, you're right. Sometimes I think that investation on cryptocurrency are more profitable than you bought a land , or gold with your money. And it is true. You've seen the price soaring this year, and how much percent the price jump since 2009. probably others will say that right now is already expensive to buy bitcoin. Of course, but you can still buy it, little by little. Or you can chose a good altcoins to invest, like ethereum ,litecoin, ripple, and others that still have a low price.
577  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: September 03, 2017, 08:00:22 AM
Definitely, its a wise strategy. What's the main feature of your strategy is that you are  only selling half of your bitcoins and not whole bitcoins which most of people do.Definitely it would work good, but it would only benefit if bitcoin price falls much below the price you have bought and in today's situation,i think that this strategy would not benefit more since bitcoin price is steadily rising due to steady increase in demand and not falling much. But instead of bitcoin,if you use this strayegy in altcoin, then it would work much more since altcoin market is very highly volatile than bitcoin.

well, I have tried to implements this strategy on alt coin like ethereum and litecoin, it's working, but need more time than do it on just bitcoin itself. because alt coin are compare with bitcoin, while bitcoin price seems to keep rising. I still confused, am I doing right or wrong, but I've tried, and not to think for a second time.
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BCH, SegWit, SegWit2 - I'm confused, can you help in laymans terms please on: August 31, 2017, 03:48:04 AM
BTC: An abbreviation for "Bitcoin" and it is the first decentralised cryptocurrency to be made, and it is also the core of crypto. All altcoins revolve around this being the "station" for Bitcoin.
Bitcoin Cash, BTC Segwit and Segwit2x: All altcoins that have different size blocks, and they are supposed to overtake bitcoin.
Is there are a free air drop just like before when bitcoin cash was release? If they are supposed to overtake bitcoin, probably it is one of their strategy to give people afree air drops with new bitcoin or you can call it another altcoin so that leaving the real bitcoin. The bitcoin cash are the prove, that some miners are decide to mine bitcoin cash than bitcoin because it's more profitble. what's your thought?
579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: August 31, 2017, 12:51:47 AM
If you think that earning bitcoin is enough for your entire life, you must be ready for all worst possibilities that will happen with this crypto currency. There are no guarantee for this bitcoin will keep on rising. This is still a risky investmen. You need to be realistic to made it the only one source of your income. When you already an old man, and all you have is just a bitcoin in your wallet, while the bitcoin are left behind, How did you survive in this world. Find another source of income that guarantee your old age.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins are traded with Bitcoin or Ether and not with fiat directly? on: August 29, 2017, 07:14:35 AM
Hello to everyone
As the title says, Why are Altcoins traded with Bitcoin or Ether and not with fiat directly? Newbie here and needs to get some questions cleared up

I don't think so, In my exchange site, You can trade for Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash, Ethereum and Ethereum Classic for local currency. I think it depends on your exchanger. I do believe, it's because a market cap of bitcoin and ethereum was above other crypto thats why both of this crypto are available for trade in local currency in every country. The other also said that's why everytime bitcoin price jump, alt will slide. It's because alt are compare with bitcoin like dash/btc, ltc/btc etc, So when the bitcoin price soaring, the alt price will follow their value in bitcoin, and what we see is down.
