561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin prior to "forks" or after "forks" ? on: October 27, 2017, 05:00:02 AM
positive & negatives , cause & affect, action & reaction

prior to invest before the forks or after the forks are has no different, whether you choose to invest before the fork or after the fork are almost the same. because we all witness the recent fork and the positive and negative effects of it on us. but in the end after the fork, bitcoin will continue to pump and growth are more successful, bitcoin has more positive than negative, the cause are dumpaton of new coins (BTG), and the effects are, bitcoin pumps more and the investors gain more profits after the fork. the action is to hold bitcoin and the reaction is to buy/bought more bitcoin for the future preparation for the biggest change.
562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 21 million bitcoins - 11+ billion people on: October 27, 2017, 04:34:33 AM
There's a hard limit on the number of bitcoins that can be mined: 21 million coins, which is expected to be reached by 2140.

The world is expected to add another billion people within the next 15 years, bringing the total global population from 7.3 billion in mid-2015 to 8.5 billion in 2030, 9.7 billion in 2050, and 11.2 billion by 2100, according to new estimates from the UN.

If bitcoin truly does explode in popularity, think about this for a minute;

Only 21 million bitcoins and 11+ billion people.
With this ratio, the possible price of 1 bitcoin could be huge.

What are your honest price predictions given total world popularity in the years 2020, 2050, 2140?

2020: 20k
2050: 100k
2140: 1m

nice population prediction/speculation OP, any way if that happen that population vs quantity of bitcoin world wide? bitcoin price will increase huge because of its on going demand in the future. we also know that bitcoin by now is more famous and getting legendary by time pass by, we cant stop the flow of this bitcoin and the growth of population so 11 billion people (not including those people that not educated in crypto) divided by 21million bitcoin = Huh? . it become more unimaginable value than gold i think.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How buy bitcoin by debit card for arab Countries Without ID !! on: October 26, 2017, 11:56:27 PM
I think that there is no way that you can buy that amount of bitcoins with a credit or debit card, those exchanges that are the good ones are not going to allow you to do such a thing, if you are stealing (i dont mean that you are) you can just start a dispute on Visa and that website will lost the bitcoins, that is why they stopped accepting credit and debit cards for buying purposes.
Why dont you use a local exchange? there is a guy who adviced you to use localbitcoins, you must give a try.

yeah. same procedure, i agree with those folks that suggesting to use localbitcoin to buy bitcoin, on that way you can buy as much as you can in a safe way, i think your country are not accepting bitcoin yet so its hard to you to buy bitcoin with anonymous, dont mind the fee in localbitcoin because you can get it back again after the pump on bitcoin.

There's videos and details in expanse/tokenlab discord channel

569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Back to 5000 Dollars ? on: October 14, 2017, 03:54:09 PM
the probability of hitting Bitcoin price again at 5000 dollars is it close enough to hit this coming week ?

yeah, not close enough to hit but to cross ahead $5000, and i think after the hard fork bitcoin price will hit over $7k and i do believe it is the beginning of bitcoin and surely never comes back on its recent price which is $5k. it will start to pump after the hard fork and i will stay to watch that event to come.
570  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 7k before fork? on: October 14, 2017, 03:33:22 PM
Do you think we can go beyond 7k before hardfork? Smiley

yes i always think of that, and i do believe that bitcoin will touch the $7k after the hard fork, so hold on on your bitcoin and never do spend/waste it because bitcoin will pump after the hard fork. and this is good news for us who holding bitcoin and to earn more profits after the hard fork.
571  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Claiming bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold on: October 14, 2017, 03:21:27 PM
Yep, you are correct. You need to transfer the balances first to a new BTC wallet then download a BCH-compatible wallet, import your BTC wallet privkeys in there and your balance should magically appear, same as to what you previously had in your BTC wallet. As for your questions on the BTG hard fork, I'm still not entirely sure how would I take advantage of the said event, but am slowly grasping different instructions on how to get my share of the pie. Anyways, here's a topic you can read about the BTG hard fork: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2237268.0

thanks for this information, honestly i miss the chance to have/got bitcoincash before, because i dont have enough bitcoin to store on BCH compatible wallet so i think i cant get that bhc, but now i want to get my share in bitcoin gold by storing my bitcoin on BTG compatible wallet, i will visit that link you provided for more information how to get bitcoin gold.
572  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin drop back down? on: October 14, 2017, 02:59:01 PM
Hey guys,

So thinking about it. It seems like the reason BItcoin is rising so fast is because everyone is putting there money in because of the upcoming "Bitcoin Gold" fork. (That is my opinion not a fact)

So do you think after the fork on the 25th it will start to decrease back to where it usually is let's say around 4K.

Anyone else been thinking this?

i think your right, people are buying more bitcoin now and save until the hard fork finish, just to get a free money which is Bitcoingold. but i think after the fork bitcoin will pump again and never gets back on its price own before like around $4k, it will pump much more after that hard fork, i think it will pump and reach $6k-7k before year end.
573  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: October 14, 2017, 02:41:51 PM
I have some bitcoin saved from my earnings in signature campaign, I do not cash out everything and I make sure that 80% of my bitcoin will be saved. As of the moment I am almost 1btc and I am planning to save more and hold it for 3 years.

same here, i have got my bitcoin from some other signature campaigns ive participated lately and i do not cash out any amount of it. i want to have/gain/earn more than 1 bitcoin to make more profits in the future by holding it upto 2-3 years from now. and it think after that year i will cash out the 30% of my bitcoin just to get my earnings and save it again for another year.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best place to store bitcoins during the forks on: October 14, 2017, 02:02:50 PM
I was watching and reading all about the upcoming forks and where to store your btc during them.
I was wondering if ( i know the asnwer of this question but i wanna duble check with the comunity) is it ok to store btc at freebitco.in during the forks to be safe about your coins. I have read their policy about that and i believe it is the safest bet.
What do you think guys?

there a risk if you do play (make some transaction) during hard fork, it has a bigger chance to lose your bitcoin during hard fork, so dont make transaction during that to avoid losing bitcoin, and where to store bitcoin? i think its safe on your bitcoin wallet that have private key or secret phrases and dont transfer your bitcoin on some third party like freebitcoin because like the other folks say, that has a bigger risk if you do that, so i suggest that store it on your bitcoin wallet and dont ever touch or make transaction during the hard fork.
575  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Coming Fork(s) Safety For BItcoins on: October 14, 2017, 01:44:57 PM
Just wondering, as I am reading a lot about Fork risks especially with bitcoin gold.

I have the private keys (the 12 words) safely stored.

What if I simply uninstall the wallet that has my BTC (it is Jaxx by the way) before the fork, then reinstall later and recover from the 12 keywords. Would that be ok or will be risk?

Would my BTC remain BTC or can accidentally be changed to BTG?

What safest wallet?

Your help highly appreciated.

yes its always safe, because you have your secret 12 word phrase to full control your bitcoin wallet even you uninstall it and reinstall again after or during the fork, i think the risk is on the out side (blockchain) if you do transfer your bitcoin during the hard fork theres a chance to lose that bitcoin, so wait until the fork finish and dont make any transaction during hard fork to avoid losing bitcoin on the blockchain.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hotels accepting bitcoin on: October 14, 2017, 01:30:03 PM
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/b/4a0b16dd-6783-4dac-9fa0-76e923c9a774

According to this link, a bloomberg news site, it was mentioned that there are two hotels in LAS Vegas that accepts bitcoin as payment for hotels, food and drinks. If you want to visit this place as a tourist or to gamble and you happened to lost your money to gambling you can always use you stored bitcoins to get a room to sleep and relax and enjoy the food and booze.

bitcoin now is very popular, so many other establishment like hotels are accepting bitcoin mostly and specially from those place that near on some gambling city like this las vegas, because to carry more cash just to bet in gambling, bitcoin is the best way to carry huge amount of money then exchange it on the casino to bet/waste your money to enjoy on gambling and stay on some hotels around that place, its good to hear that theres a place like las vegas that are accepting bitoin as a mode of payment.
577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: October 14, 2017, 01:06:46 PM
What is the safest way to keep bitcoins.

Taken dangers like hacking, losing in to account!

the safest way is to keep your private key (secret phrase) to anyone, never ever do show it to anybody and always keep an back up of those private key for the recovery of your bitcoin wallet just incase you lose the copy one of those secret phrase. and take note, dont store your bitcoin on just one wallet, keep it on several trusted wallets to avoid lose all your coins.
578  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need help about Bitcoin on: October 14, 2017, 05:09:49 AM
BTC is a little above $5,000 now. Can I still buy it? Is there any chance that it would rise further before the end of the year?

yes you can still buy bitcoin as long as bitcoin price will not pump so much, because i think bitcoin price will pump over $6000 before this year end. if you buy now you have a chance to grow your capital into 50% more because it soon to pump after the hard fork on november.
579  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you die, what will happen with your coins? on: October 14, 2017, 04:56:17 AM
obviously it will stock on your designated bitcoin wallet, unless you want to give it on someone who really trusted you of. so try to make some back up and give your bitcoin wallet information on that person you want to give, maybe your wives, or son or on your parents so they can use your coins you left in this world. it may more useful if you make that.
580  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 14, 2017, 04:08:16 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

its better to choose investing, because in investing your money can earn profits as time passed by, but in saving you money didnt do any change and bank will implement some fee for your saving account just to stay safe on their vault. so ive prepared to choose investing than save money in the bank.
