Also i really like the tokenomics here. GCP we receive in the ICO is needed to buy GLX, which will drive price of GCP up if it gets popular.
While GLX which also will be on exchange will be like tether, only more stable and the backing is real with multi (fiat) currency and gold for each GLX.
GLX is what crypto needs to make the marked more stable and respected, and to buy that one need to hold GCP.

As long as you dont spam meaningless posts or try to promote scams there should be no issues for you at bitcointalk  The merit has made it very hard to rank up, i wish i were a sr.member before it happened but it happened for a (good) reason. I think that if they did not do anything to counter all the spambots the forum could start to loose members and not be the central meeting spot for crypto fans all over the world like it is today. Getting member rank is easy btw, and everything above should be harder to reach than pure activity. If anything the system should have come earlier. If one look at forum as a whole and not just ones own rank at least i can see it quite easy When focusing on me, myself and I i dont like it as i will have a delayed rank up though haha  |

There are not many people out there who are good at making miners. Actually, there are very few. For one of them to spend time to make a miner, there has to be a significant incentive (=reward). Since there is no premining nor masternodes or bounties, getting a skilled person to program a new miner is not that easy. Things were different in the beginning, when difficulty was very low so the first one to make a miner could easily mine a few thousand coins and this way get rewarded. Zero also uses a modified zcash algorithm, so it is not as easy as well to get a working open source miner and adapt it. The fact that Optiminer is closed-source, makes things even more difficult. So unless we can somehow personally help towards making a new miner, I guess we have to be patient and wait for the dev team to deliver the roadmap goals. As for the fee, it's 1.5% in the newest Linux version and 2.5% in the older Windows version. The fee can be bypassed by a switch, and I think that some pools already bypass it by blocking some ip (not confirmed). But personally, I wouldn't care even if the fee was 5%, as long as mining zero keeps being quite profitable. Hello all, I just found zero on WTM and was looking into mining it, but I'm concerned with the mining fees. As far as I can tell, there is a purpose made Optiminer that is the only way to mine this coin and has a built in 2.5% devfee in the newest version that's available for download. Is this the only way to mine this coin? Can the fee be edited like in other equihash miners?
For me a stable miner with good hashrate is more important than fee ranging 1-2,5%. If he made a now stable miner just for this one coin the fee is not outrageous. But if Zero completes its roadmap he wont have a monopoly for long and competition will reduce the fee At least I don't think we're broken up. Why does it have to be like this? Monopoly shouldn't take longer than a month, maybe two-three. As for fee ranging, I have the same question. Can the fee be edited like in other equihash miners or not? I think it is very important. Without this, it is difficult to work. I'll have your answer. Thanks. Good to see a likeminded miner. The developers of good miners needs to get paid, they dont run a charity to let us earn money And stability is more important than the fee, up to a certain point. |

You are right, Lupanar. Global hashrates decreased, in turn led to lower diff, hence more rewards for miners.
It is quite easy math. The profit for each miner often stays the same with changes like this as some miners leave. Im not sure if i agree with how it was done, but still sticking around and mining. The MN cost is too high in my opinion, but i knew about it before i started so cant really complain. But expressing ones opinion (polite) should always be welcome How is the new wallet with POS enabled doing? |

They have said that a bounty campaign will come very soon. Id follow this thread to see when They already have a bounty manager in place so should not be long. If there will be Signature/Avatar i cant answer though, but i would be supprised if there werent. |

I think they are waiting to implement the 2 chains together once Verium reaches a certain hash rate for mining. Not 100% sure though.
When they do that, it'll be a binary chain.
Could you please explain your point about the hashrate sufficiency to implement the binary chain? He probably meant a hash rate high enough that they deem it secure enough for the dual chain. But i dont think that is what they are waiting for. It is probably just in need of more development, the dual chain is complicated and not something they can just release without alot of coding and testing |

Be aware of this project! They got many hype and people are just blindly following it, not even reading whitepaper. They don't have any token economy. Token is not used on platform there will be no reasons for it to grow even after platform will be SUPER popular. Their whitepaper says that the usecase of token is ability to take part in some votings and taking part in surveys! Fantastic, you really think that people will rush on exchanges to buy your tokens to take part in surveys??? And policies on platform can be purchased using fiat money, avoiding policypal token. After asking admins in telegram group about it, I was banned. Any update on the staking front? Is an entire new wallet coming out or will the current wallet just start staking in the near future?

Time will be finalized after reviewing with Pool Owners. With PoS in place, this would re-enable MN rewards. When looking it seemed you will not only make it possible for fast and cheap transactions with MTV tokens but also other coins(/tokens?). So there will be some sort of ledger for when it is to be transfered out of MTV onto their own chains, just like an exchange? How can someone have capital for 9000 usd just in eidoo and still think 100 dollar is something we will reach soon? Sorry if that came of rude but camuflaged moontalk does not belong here. It can happen in the future if they succeed and crypto in general rises but not soon Eidoo is a great potential project but this price is like a dream right now and for 2018. Ive seen other chains having a download from web site which include the chain up to block xxx. Makes the sync much faster for new members of community and existing having to reload the chain if that is the feature your talking about im sure the devs here could do it as they seem very skilled, but that would take time of other projects. Sure, would not be a problem. The team already put together such a snapshot of chain and state, just held off on publishing. Something to consider for sure, thanks for the suggestion. That is good to hear! Guess it then should be quite easy for the team to get that out and make it easier for new members and existing that needs to reload the chain But off course, easy does not mean fast as it still takes time off other projects |
