561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: My Piece of Advice to Bounty and Airdrops Participants on: June 12, 2018, 01:24:43 PM
You didn't need to open the new topic just for this. Nothing new is said here. Avoid spam and try to help more specifically.
Just suggestion because you already want to help.
But he still have a point for his entire topic he posted, he is just saying a piece of advice to us in participating bounties because he had a point for us to research first to the team and whitepapers and roadmad and goal of that ICO to avoid scam. We advertise their project so we must be researchful. Actually this topic where he started is not a non-sense and it is also related on this section .

I agree on what Riten said. This thing is not something new in this thread. There are a lot of threads that talk better when it comes to promoting ICOs and joining bounty campaigns. Saying "do research" and "read things like whitepaper" are not new pieces of information. I am expecting new words when the topic is about avoiding scams. It is going to be better if you are going to post if you have information about such new things when it comes to avoiding scams or frauds.
562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto legal in your country? on: June 11, 2018, 04:55:13 AM
Yes, I am from the Philippines and there are no regulation laws when it comes to cryptocurrency. I also don't understand why other countries ban cryptocurrency when it's designed to be decentralized in the first place. But some are talking about that there is still a possibility that bitcoin can be regulated in all countries.
563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Signature campaign for Jr. Member? on: June 11, 2018, 04:52:44 AM
As of now, my bounty campaign is currently only accepting member ranks only. But you can try to look for amazix and you can check out deadley's bounties in the telegram group for ongoing campaigns that may be accepting jr. members.
564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin will End Friday with $6200 on: June 11, 2018, 04:48:32 AM
I think you are speculating too much. I don't think there is any reason for bitcoin to end soon or in the next few years unless they do ban bitcoin. Bitcoin being at $6,200 is not a bad speculation since right now it is at $6,700 and the market is currently playing with us.
565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Listing on crypto exchanges on: June 08, 2018, 02:43:03 PM
Listing is already part of the plan. But there is something more important than listing which is the product itself. There are a lot of campaigns that focus on their product first before anything else because the product can push the value of the coin. I think one of the examples of the project type that I stated is the SocialMedia.Market.
566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we trust crypto / digital currencies? on: June 08, 2018, 02:39:38 PM
Yes, there is a lot of reasons we can trust cryptocurrencies or digital currencies. Cryptocurrency will still improve in the next few years and the technology will continue to upgrade like the modern banks and currencies. There are a lot of news regarding scams or account breaching because the people don't know how to take care of their funds.
567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Failed Projects Returning Investors Money on: June 07, 2018, 11:42:53 AM
I think returning money when an ICO failed should be a thing now. Because it is a waste of money and time investing on an ICO that is very hyped but later on it is just going to fail. An ICO is failing because the team is not doing well on campaigning their projects which is a very important factor. I would also demand refund whenever I invest on a failed ICO.
568  Other / Off-topic / Re: How beginners can join Translation Campaign on: June 07, 2018, 11:40:12 AM
If you don't have experiences when it comes to translating, I think you can show them examples of your translation. This is the common thing I saw that even though you are not an experienced translator, you can still go apply to them as long as you show that you are really good.
569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Marijuana coins in 2018 on: June 07, 2018, 11:29:22 AM
Which marijuana-related coin(s) do you think will take off as more legalizations kick in next year? I put together a list of the ones I could find on CoinMarketCap and compared their ties to the industry that could make them more successful: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2658296.0

It would be pretty easy to go with the current top 5, but maybe there's a sleeper or two in the mix?

Let me ask the obvious question here -- why in God's name do you need a cryptocurrency to pay for marijuana, when it's legal? Why not just pay for it with fiat? You'd think the essence of marijuana cryptos would be to keep transactions under the radar. What is the point of a "weed" coin once it's legal?

Is it just so the pot heads can feel like they have some grip on, or portion of the crypto community? You can toke up, play video games, eat cheetos, and proclaim your blockchain prowess!  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I don't get it.

I think you should read more about the background of marijuana coin. And another thing is, marijuana is not legal in every part of the world because of abuse. There are some places in the world where it is legal because they said it can be used for things like medical purposes. The marijuana coin can be huge in cryptocurrency world if the demand for weed increases.
570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: avoiding ICO scam and frauds on: June 06, 2018, 03:43:22 PM
We all are well aware of ICO frauds.

I use the strategy to start with a whitepaper, see team member details and the roadmap.

What strategy you adopt to make sure the ICO is not a scam/fraud?

I also use the same strategy that you do but in addition, I also ask for experts' advice when it comes to projects. I consider my self as a new member of this cryptocurrency community and I still have a lot to learn. There are also communities in Telegram which will help you to judge whether a project is a scam or not. And some people are doing some ICO review that is available in YouTube.
571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Any effect behind KYC verification on any project on: June 06, 2018, 03:37:28 PM
The issue of KYC verification this days on any ico one wants to buy is pronouncing. My question is, is KYC really necessary before one can purchase a particular project Ico? Because our documents were mend to be keep confidential and not to expose it to public, and the new rules is not KYC not Ico.
I hope our documents will not be use for impersonation of any criminal activities?
Please I need advice
Thanks

If ever they're going to use it to illegal purposes, that is going to become a massive breach. But some people said that KYC is a protection for the people who use multiple accounts in one bounty. But for me, I think KYC is a big disadvantage when it comes to our privacy and I think it only makes cryptocurrency centralized instead of decentralized. And also, KYC doesn't really affect the project but it can affect the people's perspective on a project.
572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Bounties for JR Members on: June 06, 2018, 03:33:37 PM
I suggest you look for another campaign that has the same bounty manager that you have before. The thing that I noticed ever since I joined my first bounty campaign is that they don't change the rules and most of the time it is exactly the same. But I think it will still depend on the project itself. That kind of project you joined is actually hard to find.
573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What should I do? on: June 05, 2018, 01:05:59 PM
That will depend on the coins you have. If you think you have coins that have the capability to grow in the future, that will surely grow. I am only 70% sure of this because as of now the altcoins are currently at red and it is expected to grow in the quarter of the year. Probably it is going to be in the 3rd and 4th quarter of the year.
574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the bull market coming? on: June 05, 2018, 01:01:31 PM
Prediction is not always guaranteed and there is always an inaccuracy when it comes to it. Things like bull market are unpredictable in the cryptocurrency world because almost everything here is volatile. The only thing we can do is to trust the coins we invested on or what we have as of the moment.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not for people who want permanent money! on: June 05, 2018, 12:55:11 PM
That is true. But there are people who earn money in just a few months here but it will depend on the coin you invested on. But I think 98% of the time you will really wait for a long time in order to gain some profit especially when you are joining campaigns.
576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties with at least soft cap reached on: June 04, 2018, 03:10:49 PM
Hi everyone,

These days there are lot of scams or failure projects and our efforts in bounties are worthless, even if Im attending to the bounties with high ratings and good presentations, still most of them are paying less than what they promised or they just shot down, so if you know any new bounties with softcap or hardcap reached it would really help

Well, situations like that aren't really rare in this community. There are a lot of good campaigns but some are left unnoticed for some reason. It is probably because they lack something like knowing how to properly campaign their project. A project didn't reach soft cap only just because it is a bad project. And also if there are paying less than what they have promised, that is considered as a scam. I would recommend you to join deadley's campaigns or any bounty campaign manager that is a hero member or a legendary member.
577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: QuarkChain trading starts on Binance in <2 hours on: June 04, 2018, 02:52:17 PM
This is a good information. But knowing what is the next big thing is impossible since everything can change because there is a lot of volatile coins. The way teams work can also change. But I hope this coin is gonna go big so I'll have some money to invest in it.
578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make cash without investing? on: June 04, 2018, 02:33:00 PM
Yes, through the use of bounty campaigns here you can earn a thousand dollars as long as the campaign is really good. As of now, this is the only way I know where you can earn money that is related to cryptocurrency without getting your money involved because you also need money when you are going to mine bitcoin or any coin that you can mine.
579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What made you Invest into Crypto Currency on: June 03, 2018, 01:47:27 PM
What made me invest in cryptocurrency is because there is a lot of coins that have a future and you can earn a lot of money years from now. Even though there is a lot of bad news about cryptocurrency, it is only because they don't know a lot of things about it. They don't know how good is the team behind the good coins and their project development.
580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: What do we excpect from the future? on: June 03, 2018, 01:39:04 PM
What I expect from the future is everything will develop and there will be changes (good or bad) and there will be new things. A lot of campaigns will be launched, more coins will be launched, good and bad coins will be launched. There is a lot of things that will happen even the regulation of bitcoin or any other coins available might happen as well.
