562  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am planning to buy 1 BTC. Do I need to wait few more days for a price fall? on: January 24, 2018, 06:48:26 AM
Buy now or regret later. When it drops to 5000 buy more.
563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Satoshi Nakamoto will reveal himself one day ? on: January 22, 2018, 02:54:31 PM
I doubt it. He disappeared for a reason, and if the massive popularity and price increase didn't urge him to come out, I don't think anything will.

I heard that there was a deal not to sell those early coins till 2020. So around then, if the coins start to move, we might find out who Satoshi is.
@alyssa85. This is very interesting. I have never heard about it. Can you please provide any links or articles?

Search for Tulip Trust and Craig Wright. It's all fake.

LOL. Who coined that name? Tulip Trust, does it follow the tulip mania name? Well, anyway, thanks for the search tip, it landed me on a reddit page, I'll read it keeping in mind it may be fake.

Craig Wright is pretending hard to let the people believe he is Satoshi, which he obv. isn't.

Wifis always right)))  so maybe they have special feelings or additional intuition. to my mind to the start of spring - bitcin will be again 20000

Well, she only said "Yeah", which means it will definitely increase or even go down.

569  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoint to $1,800 USD by end of 2018 on: January 17, 2018, 01:49:28 PM
Nope that will never happen.
Bitcoin will not go down lower than 10.000$

Marked you as one of the worst financial analyst, ever.
570  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN rate plummets Discussion!! on: January 17, 2018, 06:36:14 AM
It is not "plummeting".
It is merely going back to a much more normal sustainable growth rate, you really didn't see it coming with a rise from $5000 to $20000 in a matter of weeks? Of course it was going to go back to 5,6,7 or 8k or so.
I'm very happy so long as the price doesn't fall below $5k.

Even a falback to 2000$ will still be a 100% raise in one year, which is extraordinary.

...
Any responsible cryptocurrency investor understands that these are typical dips in the market, and historical data shows that these dips are very common for this time of year.

Does your expert analyzis also apply to the years 2009-2014? If not, maybe you are wrong!

573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin consuming too much Electricity. on: January 15, 2018, 08:20:00 AM
What is the energy consumption of the world wide banking system?

I mean, including everthing: salaries and bounties, buildings (incl. its energy consumption), transaction costs, everything related to FIAT (printing, transporting and storage), banking fees, safes, vaults and a lot more...

I bet this number is a lot higher right now, than Bitcoin will ever consume.
574  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please?? I think I'm going to cry..... on: January 15, 2018, 06:37:21 AM
The amount of nonsense and misinformation that is circulating around this thread is Astonishing!!
There are going to be a lot of sad broke people in just a few years.

:1 out of every 10 people here have done research on what Bitcoin is, and actually have an understanding of what Crypto Currency is as a whole.
:But, 10/10 people have an opinion to share on, why Bitcoin will be the best/worst or which Altcoin will be the best/worst. And the purpose for these currencies.

I've only been active on these forums for about 2 days now, but I've been spending the past few months learning in depth, every possible thing I can about the Crypto Currency Space.

In these 2 days of reading what people are posting (In this section alone) is causing me to lose tremendous respect and faith for Humanity.

I can really see Crypto Currency being the way of the world in the future. But, before it gets there. It's really going to take out a whollllle lot of you along the way. I can see so many of you are going to be in very very rough shape in just a few years.

95% of you, are not taking the fking time to do your own research. All you guys do is watch a couple Youtube videos on what coins you should invest in. Then you take that Idea and post it here, for a whole bunch of internet people to decide for you.
Or, You just skip the youtube part, and just ask everyone on here what you should do.
You guys will see something on the news saying "Bitcoin is Dieing! It's going down!" or some shit like that, you take it for the truth, you sell your shit off. Then a day later Bitcoin grows by 30%. You are the people who don't even know what the companies behind Altcoins are doing. But, will be the first to say "The price is too cheap, it's not worth investing in" or some stupid shit like that. Meanwhile, you have the next Google being developed and you have a chance to get in on it at an AMAZING PRICE. You will believe anything you see. But failing to realize, when people are saying "You need to buy this coin" or "Bitcoin is bad, don't do it" Those people are making money off selling you those ideas. You all think it's the truth because you seen someone post a youtube video on it. Or you seen it on the news. You are the ones who are going to be sitting on the sidelines picking your noses and scratching your heads wondering WTF?.

The 5% of us, who have an understanding of Crypto, who Have spent days and months, even years researching everything we can, questioning everything, taking part in these communities, we are going to be the ones waiting here to say "I fkn told you so..."

Stop treating Crypto as a trading Asset. That is not why we have it here. The whole idea of Crypto and Bitcoin is so far over so many of your heads, it's utterly frightening. When you go to coinmarketcap next time. Instead of looking at the price chart... Go to the Website link that is provided by coinmarketcap to read and LEARN about the damn thing, from the correct source. Not just, "CryptoJohnny on youtube listed these currencies as his top 5 to make you rich in 2018"
I love all of you and I hope everyone gets a chance to succeed with Crypto Currency. But quite frankly, I can see a lot of people, losing a lot of fucking money, because they're just too damn lazy or they have the Know-it-All complex. Stay sharp My friends. I wish everyone the best.
Cheers.

Great post.
You have to take into account, that 95% of the people here are sig spammers. Their incentive is not to share/ask for information, but to raise their post count to earn more money.
575  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Intel Hack is NSA backdoor 'Discovered', NSA created BITCOIN - What's to worry? on: January 14, 2018, 09:39:17 AM
All of this is very possible, but let's not get ahead of ourselves like we have the proof already.
When people accept something as a fact without proof, even if they are right, they stop looking for proof as hard as they otherwise would.

Also there wasn't one "kid", there was a whole team of researchers.
And the "BITCOIN is NSA" part, a bit of an overreach, not that it would mean that Bitcoin is bad even if it was true.
Let's not forget that Tor was developed by US military and also the Internet and neither was a secret nor was bad for humanity.

Sometimes government agencies want to be anonymous as well. Especially if they like getting involved in other government's business.

It is not that black and white. Sometimes governments need to mask their operations by hiding in the crowd, so they gift the weapon to all, so no one knows when they use it and when their weaker enemies use it.
And when their weak enemies use it, it just gives them more justification for their existence.

It's even more effective, when you let your enemy (and everyone else) think, he could use these tools anonymously, while you only have the key to decrypt all traffic.

577  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for Developers for New Coin on: January 12, 2018, 08:09:14 AM
Hey guys,

I am looking for 1 or 2 developers (no more than that) to help start a crypto. I am at the pre pre ICO stage, but this project has serious potential. Developers will help with the initial creation of the coin and bring to the table any ideas that would modify the coin to create value to the holders. All developers will be heavily rewarded prior to any public launching. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

~Nick

Developers are probably busy creating new coins.

579  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [THEORY] Reverse exploiting Bitcoin on: January 07, 2018, 11:52:38 AM
It is completely possible, I have worked in countless industries and I can tell you no one really cares enough to check... it's sad, but it's true.

A lot of the code has insane amounts of bugs and glitches, the best method practices have to be applied by a strict supervisor... an overworked supervisor trying to keep all the shit being submitted to them straight.
there are so many points of vulnerability that can be introduced by an exhausted team eager to perform, look at Intel, they knew about that processor flaw and they kept making them for 25 years... what does that tell you?

The best we can do is resolve the problems we can see now. patch every exploit we find as fast as possible.

I bet they have developed a lot more of these gimmicks meanwhile.
